Good Morning. This is a special Thread in memory of the History of Rangerboard. Today we will go over the events leading up to what we believe is the one hundred year anniversary of Rangerboard(our details are of course, a little sketchy at best.). We will be looking at the three major events in Rangerboard history:
The Great George Wars:
Some historical experts say that this is when it all started. A mysterious person arrived on the board around the year 2003, calling himself George. He created many threads using the primitive "Typing" system that was popular in those days. He talked of combining "this" or enhancing "that". Many people accused him of being a Mod "Pet" or "lackey", because, whenever he would do something that might call for a ban, he was ignored, and allowed to go on his way. Many people rallied against the Admin staff, claiming them to be imperialistic rulers. There was so much spam and bans going around that the board overloaded many times. It wasn't until the year 2010 when someone hacked into Rangerboard, discovering George's dark secret; George was actually Ray-Z in disguise. When this information reached the members, there was mass chaos. People were threatening to "Suit Down Rangerborad"(as is the term used today). Many people created anti-Rangerboard threads, websites, and petitions. Of course, even though these tactics were all for not, the fragile alliances between the members and the staff pretty much disappeared. Many members left the board, never to be seen again. It took the board seven years to gain as many members as it had lost.
End of Tyranny-Return of Sym:
Over the years, Ray-Z became more controlling of the board. People were allowed to state NOTHING having to do with opinions, George was an Admin alongside Ray-Z, and the only threads allowed were ones relating to "Combining" Things. Then, in 2038, the "Light" came to the board. It was the return of Symbolic Agony, or rather, her son. He took up the mantle of his mother's old account, since the other admin staff never thought to delete it. He called himself "Symbolic Pain". Following in his mother's footsteps, he re-instituted the Public Humiliation act, while calling for votes as to the fate of Ray-Z and his lackey account, George. The results were unanimous, all the old staff was to be permabanned, the accounts deleted, and all memory(the board themes) of Ray-Z's rule was eliminated. This resulted in a 30 year peace among the board members.
The Murder Of The Four:
Around 2070, the real problem began. Ten Rangerboard members, all decendants of the original members, formed a pact. They didn't like the way the show was running(as compared to the historical records left by their ancestors). They flew to Japan(The co-filming site for Sentai and Power Rangers, created 6 years prior to save money). They commited the worst atroscity ever seen on Rangerboard. They murdered the four topmost leaders of the Toei-Disney Alliance. Because of this tragedy, Power Rangers and Sentai were shut down for four and a half years. Sym instituted a "Curfew" of sorts to keep track of the board members. This curfew caused another rift to form between the members. It was ended when 9 of the killers were arrested and sent to prison on life sentences. The 10th, a "SuperGalaxyGreen" managed to avoid detection for 25 years. Five years ago(2095), he turned himself in, because he realized how stupid he had been, he had never realized that the 4 and a half year gap would take place, and the guilt had finally gotten to him. After his arrest, all of Rangerboard was able to remain at ease in this time of total peace.
Join us again tommorow as we go over, in depth, how Rangerboard's Members reacted to some of the show's most popular topics of conversation, such as Floribundicus's lines, and the "Battle Thong" as it was called.
Note: This is in NO WAY directed at the the current administrative staff(or George). I really do like Rangerboard. What was stated about the mods is not how I really feel about them. This is just an IDEA of what the future MIGHT hold for Rangerboard. It is in NO WAY meant to be construed as fact. This is NOT meant to incite a fight between the members. To the people whos names where mentioned; the examples I used about them, are all ficticious. All the people who I mentioned should not take offence to being represented. This is NOT how they act, and I do not hate them in any way, shape, or form. I understand whatever action you may take in responce to this thread.
I made this thread in my spare time, it was just an idea I had as an answer to my next statement.
This thread is only meant to ask, what do YOU think the far future of Rangerboard(or Power Rangers) might be like? Any ideas?
