ANNUAL REPORT 2005
PART 3: PIONEER'S REVIEW

As the pioneer of the Space Police project on Earth, I am proud to say that, from just one humble team in the garden city of Singapore, the Space Police's protection areas have extended to various parts of the world, namely Europe, Oceania and North America.

The Alienizer problem used to be a major problem, when Earth technology was not modern enough to battle these new foes. I read about the Space Police, who had experimented in a new alloy, forming a flexible suit over the body, which could protect it from bullets, explosives and give superhuman abilities. I was tempted to try this out, but faced with major problems such as a low budget, and not enough support from higher-ranking officers, I no choice but to approach Supt. Ridhuan, my ex-superior, for help. He informed me that it was difficult, as there was once a similar failed project, which was...

Special Police Winspector. Let me digress a little. In 2000, crimes were being committed by people who were buying armoured suits off the black market, and the Singapore Police Force launched a pilot program with two fully AI robots and a man-in-armoured suit. This suit was one of the rejected military prototypes, which came into good use for a good two battles. After that there was a virus hack into the AI of the programmed robots, and they turned against us.

This incident costed the life of the brave officer who had been chosen to wear the Fire suit. I had to convince Supt. Ridhuan that I was not using AI robots to battle for this cause, but instead people in fully flexible suits which multiplied their human abilities more than ten-fold.

After being given the green light by Interpol, Space Police High Commander Numa O, as well as the Commissioner-level officers, I started to build my team in early 2004, by appointing two assistants, a deputy commanding officer, and a technical advisor. When I went to the Space Police Headquarters in Galaxy 32, together with many officers from around the world, I was impressed with its high level of discipline and technology.

In early 2005, I sought out my probable candidates and brought them into the team. All of them were promising officers with bright futures ahead of them, and I had wanted them to set a milestone for the Singapore Police Force by becoming the first Space Police team on Earth. They have produced a standard higher than what I expected.

In June, three months after my pioneer team set out on their mission to solve Alienizer-related crimes, I was approached by a long-time acquantaince of mine, Insp. Siti Latifah of the Royal Brunei Police Force. She was one of the officers in my training squad in space. Insp. Latifah proposed that an immigrations department be set up so that the number of aliens entering and leaving Earth could be regulated. I concurred, and submitted a proposal to HQ. It was approved, and the Special Police Dekaranger: Patrol department was formed with its pioneer batch of nine core officers.

During the months which followed, Special Police DekaRescue, DekaSquad, and most recently, DekaForce, were set up in the other parts of the world, under Numa O's order to station more teams on the Earth, to combat the rising crime rate which the existing two teams were under pressure from.

Special Police Dekaranger, the main branch of the Earth division, covers the major Asian cities of Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Bangkok, New Delhi, Tokyo and Seoul.

Special Police Dekaranger: Patrol, doing immigration duties as a sideline, covers the major Asian/Oceania cities of Bandar Seri Begawan, Jakarta, Manila, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Wellington.

Special Police DekaRescue, although a rescue specialist team, also performs police duties, by providing major East European/North African cities such as London, Dublin, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cairo

Special Police DekaSquad is the only mobile team on Earth. They cover the major Western European cities of Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Athens, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Reykjavik and Moscow.

The new team of Special Police DekaForce across the Atlantic adds a line of defense to the Canadian cities of Ottawa, Quebec, Vancouver and Montreal. With the addition of these new teams to the division, it is no surprise that the worldwide monthly rate of Alienizer-related crimes has been dropping steadily.

There are still many significant areas which have not been occupied by any Special Police team, namely the USA, the Carribean, South America, Central and South Africa, as well as the Middle Eastern regions. As this report will be published worldwide and avaliable in all police departments of the world, I would like to appeal to the highest authorities of those regions concerned to highly consider setting up teams of Special Police, to further guarantee safety from Alienizer-related crimes.

I would also like to take this opportunity to announce plans for a Special Police Academy. It is with my sincere intention that interested youths should be trained in the laws of the universe as well as how to enforce them. Of course, they will still have the regular subjects being taught in schools, but this international academy will admit students from all over the world, as young as 13. Currently, there is still no blueprint of this plan, but if the green light is given, a proposal will be drawn up and submitted to various educational and police departments, including Space Police Headquarters, for screening and approval.

With all this valid data, I hope I have added a significant piece of the history and future to the first annual report of the Space Police Earth Division. Thank you.

This is a group of fanfic writers giving a "report" on the Dekas set in the countries where they live. It's not like it's a serious thing. And besides, the USA has SPD.

SPACE POLICE EARTH DIVISION
ANNUAL REPORT 2005
PART 4: PLANNED DIVISIONAL COVERAGE

This will be the planned divisional coverage come Dec 2005. As you can see, there will be new departments set up in Africa, the USA and in Alaska, and the area covered by Special Police DekaRescue has been minimized.
