I tried selling these on ebay before but both of the buyers stiffed me; so I thought I'd give RangerBoard a shot before relisting them.
I'm selling a complete Deluxe Super Zeo Megazord & Warrior Wheel (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5987712281&ssPageName=STRK) and a almost complete set of Beast Machines toys and some Beast Wars (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5982377165&ssPageName=STRK) toys.
Sorry about the picture quality. I used my scanner for the Zeo toys and a webcam for the Beast Machines/Wars toys. They're all in really awsome condition, tight joints, all their accessories, etc.
I'm looking to get around $50 US for each of the old ebay listings.
I'd also be willing to do some kind of trade for some stuff I'm looking for:
Light Patrol Omega Ranger
Deluxe Delta Squad Megazord
Deluxe Omega Megazord
Transformers Armada Skywarp
Transformers Beast Wars Fuzor Quickstrike
Transformers Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Rampage
Transformers Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia
None of these have to be in the box, I always take stuff out of the box, but they need to be complete.
Anyway, post an offer here if you're interested and I'll give you a PM.
Thanks for looking. :)

Yes, $50 seems a bit much for what's possibly the ugliest and most unwanted Megazord of the series.

Nah, I could get more than that selling the megazord and warrior wheel seperately on eBay.

You must be the only one then, because it lasted over a year in the clearance sections both times it was released.

was it THAT bad?

No, it wasn't that bad. XPeople must be speaking from his/her own personal experience or opinion. If it really sucked that bad BoA wouldn't have re-released it with the Lost Galaxy stuff, and I've never heard anyone talk shit about it before this thread. Shit, the last time PR Zeo was in rotation on Power Rangers Generations I saw boxed ones going for around $65 on eBay. Now its selling for about $20. That's something I'ver personally noticed though. Whichever series is in reruns at the moment sells for way more on eBay. Anyway, its actually a cool megazord. Just because XPeople thinks its ugly doesn't make it shitty.

I was speaking from experience, yeah. Massive amounts of ZEO zord sets were on shelves for over a year. At Toys R Us stores--in New York and New Jersey at least--all of the ZEO zords were marked down 50% for the entire summer of 1997 and still couldn't sell. I ended up finally breaking down and buying the Super ZEO to finish my collection at a Kay Bee during the first half of Space, for crying out loud.
Then, when the Super ZEO was for some unexplainable reason re-released during Lost Galaxy, it still sat on shelves for ungodly stretches of time. One of my last memories of the mythical Herald Square Toys R Us is the dozens of repackaged Super ZEO's that were still in stock when they closed, some time after Lightspeed Rescue had finished.
I don't have any numbers to back this up (maybe grnrngr would), but ZEO seemed to be the worst-selling series of the franchise. When a Kay Bee finally opened in my area during PRiS, they had gotten huge backlogs of marked down ZEO merchandise. Most of the action figures, tons of zords, and most amazingly, ZEOnizers--both varieties--for $4.99 apiece. They continued to get shipments for months. I don't know where the stuff was coming from. I'd even venture a guess that re-released Super ZEO Megazord for Lost Galaxy was the same stock from the ZEO series and just never made it to the stores because of poor demand. If there was ever a Megazord that could have sold as a re-release, that wudn't it.
I do think that it's a terribly ugly zord, though. Super ZEO Zord III is probably the worst and most unimaginative mech I've ever seen, though I did like V's little head turn.

I think Super Zeo IV is the oddest looking one, its pretty blocky.
I have no idea how well Zeo sold compared to the other series. I could believe it selling poorly though. Maybe that's why some of the Zeo stuff is so hard to find; stores just didn't order the stuff because it wouldn't move.
As far as Zeonizers go those are supposed to be pretty rare. $5 a piece for 'em seems crazy now. I sold one on eBay a few months ago for $45.
I don't think the re-released one was old stock. I've never heard of a toy company repackaging already packaged goods.
When there were KB stores in my area a couple years ago I could still find Super Nintendo games. That chain has run itself into the ground.

Odd-lookingness and general what-the-fuckness are two different things. :)

I think that's the case with the Turbo line, not the ZEO line. The stores had huge amounts of ZEO stuff left over all throughout Turbo--personally, I thought that Toys R Us' 50% discount ended up impeding sales of the Turbo stuff because parents expected the same thing to happen the next summer (I know I did).

Yes, that's why I worked that part in.

::shrugs:: It makes more sense than to say that than to say that they purposely re-released a set that was basically dead weight.

if its dead weight why waste money on repackaging?
they'd have to have all the stuff sent back to a factory and pay people to open up one box and put it in another box
man, I don't think I remember seeing hardly any turbo stuff anyway back in the day now that I think of it. I remember Target had those bendy rubber red, blue, and green figures all over the place though, and some toy cars that looked like the Turbo zords but were hotwheel sized.

What I actually meant was that the product was produced, but never sent out because of shorted sales in the stores in the later quarters of 1996. In that kind of scenario they'd be left with excess stock, so it would make more sense to repackage it a few years later than to just ship it out under the ZEO line that wasn't selling in the first place.
