Power Rangers OSR chapter one

I when I created the tech page called Old School Rangers fanfic tech specs, http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=63803 (http://http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=63803) I knew I would have to create a new thread. Because the first thread had stuff in it that I am not using anymore for my story. This is my very first fan fic that I have posted anywhere. After you read this, if there is anything I can do to improve my storytelling so that chapter two will be better please tell me.

Now with out further ado.. chapter one.

It is a cloudy day in the city of Reefside. It is a seemingly normal day. In the forest by the city, a man is walking alone down one of the many paths. Being a cloudy day made it pretty dark in the forest. As the man walks, he notices that the shadows of the forest seemed to get darker and larger with every step. He stops, with a frown he looks around not knowing what to make of the situation. A few seconds later the shadows started to raise off the ground. The shadows seemed like ooze bubbling up. Soon the ooze like shadows started to take the shape of men. They were in great numbers, for they used the shadows of the forest to appear in droves. The man frowns a lot more.

"I'm guessing that you aren't the forest rangers." the man says.

Without a word the shadow men attack the man. The man starts to dodge a barrage of punches and kicks from each of his attackers. Has one of the shadow men throws a punch, the man grabs it's arm. While still holding the it's arm, he delivers a powerful kick to it's stomach. It bends over the leg from the kick. He then rolls over releasing it. while delivering a kick to another shadow man. He lands and gets back into an attack position. The man continues to fight the shadow men, but it seemed as if there were thousands of them. He started to lose his stamina and with so many after him he decided there was only one way he could make out of this fight in one piece. After making a little room for himself with an arial spin kick he raise left arm up. A black object appeared on his wrist and a key appeared in his right hand.

"Dino Thunder, Power Up HA!" he shouted inserting the key into the end of the object.

Upon turning the key there was a flash of light. As the light cleared the shadow men stood in a daze. Now standing before them was man in a black jumpsuit with a black helmet. From his side he unsheathed a sword like object. He than began to attack the shadow men. With great ease he cut through the shadow men, but they still hand superior numbers. And though he was in this state the man was at a disadvantage. After fighting them off for another thirty minutes he was starting to lose his stamina again. A shadow man then kicked him into a tree. He started to breathe heavily.

"I can't keep this up much longer...." the man said.

Seeming as if on cue, a laser beam came from out of no where and blasted about ten of the shadow men. A man in a white jumpsuit appears in front of the man in black. The man in white turned to him and helped him regain his balance.

"It looks like you can use a hand." the man in white said.

Inside the helmet the man in black eye's widen with surprise. The voice of the man in white was very familiar. The man in white unsheathed a sword. The sword resembled a scimitar. Without another word, the man in white charges all the shadow men. Every swing cuts a shadow man in half. The man in black is amazed how easily the man in white is able to destroy the shadow creatures. As he sees each shadow creature being destroyed he thought it was more than he was able to do. The man in white then turns to him and flashes him a thumbs up. Right as he did five shadow men jumped him from behind. More and more continued to pile on top of him. The man in black jumps into action. Mustering up his remaining strength he attacks the shadow creatures. He soon was able to get to the man in white. The shadow men back up as to re-group. The man in black helped the man in white to his feet.

"Are you alright?" the man in black asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." the man in white replied, "But it seems like there are still way to many of them. We'll have to retreat."
"No kidding. I have a place not to far from here, if we can get away from these creatures we rest there." the man in black said.

The man in white then raised his left arm up as if he were going to check the time. He then opens a hidden panel in this glove and presses a few buttons. The man in black looks at him, in the mask the man raises his eyebrow with confusion. The man in white presses a final button and white and black light surround the two. The two light energies fly off. The shadow creatures look towards the sky. They then look at each other and ooze back into the shadows.

Elsewhere, on a interstellar ship a shadowy figure sits on an extravagant throne. The figure had been watching the entire fight take place on a video screen. With a balled fist he slams his fist against the left arm of the chair.

"So this is the great threat that my scout bots warned me of?" the shadowy figure asked aloud.

In through the door on the other side of the room. Two more figures walk into the room. They approach the throne. They kneel and bow their heads before the seated figure. One of the figures raises their head and speaks.

"Master Eclipse, we have no excuse for our troops letting those two get away." the general Geist said.

Suddenly a blast sends Geist flying across the room into a wall. The other general, Daimon, looks up at his master. There is smoke rising from Eclipses arm. Eclipse stands up.

"No you don't." Eclipse said.

He walked down his throne. He passed Daimon and walks up to a window that over looks the planet. He looks out at the planet. Geist slowly got up and walked over to Daimon. Daimon gets up and stands next to his female counter part.

"Master, what shall we do now?" Daimon asked.
"We shall wait, but not long. We will attack again and soon. If they are as powerful as I've been led to think, then we can not afford to let them regain their strength." Eclipse states.

Back in Reefside. The two energy colored energies land in a small house on the edge of the woods. The energy disappears and the two men are standing in the houses living room. The two men look at each other. The man in black lifts his right arm in front of him.

"Power Down!" The man in black exclaimed as he swung his arm away from him.

The suit disappeared in a flash. The man who was in the black suit sat down on the near by couch. He stretched a bit. Relaxing his arms on an arm of the couch and the other on the back of the couch. He then looks at the man in white.

"Thank you for helping me back there. But I must know, who are you?" the man asked.

"I'm hurt that you don't remember me............ Tommy." the man in white said shaking his head.

He then removed his helmet. Tommy gasped with surprise. The man in white then places the helmet on a coffee table that was next to him. He looks at Tommy as he places his hand on his head. Tommy quickly jumps to his feet.

"I can't believe it! Clayton is that you?!" Tommy asked surprised.

"Yeah, it's me old friend." Clayton replies.

Tommy smiles wide and gives his old friend a huge hug. They kind you give to long lost friends or family. Tommy releases Clayton. Clayton then sits down on a chair that was across from the couch. Tommy also sits down. Clayton stretches his legs and lets out a tired sigh.

"So, what's up Clayton? You've been gone a long time." Tommy asked.

Clayton's eyes darkened a bit. He looks up at Tommy, "Tommy, something big has happened. If you thought that Mezogog was bad news, wait until what you hear what I have to tell you." Clayton said.

In the next chapter of Power Rangers OSR.....Clayton reveals the threat of Eclipse to Tommy. He also explains the new Ranger force that they will need to obtain to face this powerful foe. Can Tommy and Clayton find the new Rangers in time? Find out in the next chapter of Power Rangers OSR.

Damn ... sounds pretty cool. Whenever you introduce an original character like this, its hard to make sure they really fit in, but you've done a good job so far. I just wish the chapter had more in it than three scenes.

Good start, but the grammar is a bit off, you need a LOT more description, and one problem (that might be explained later on): Tommy wouldn't be able to morph into the Black DT Ranger after "Thunderstruck, Part 2", which I'm supposing this fic takes place after.

update on chapter two, I am in the middle of going through a few drafts of what should happen in it. I don't want to make it boring. but I don't want to put to much action in it, because then it would get boring after a while. It will be up with in the next few days though. If it isn't then you all can beat me till I post it.

Chapter Two:

In Reefside, underneath the home of Dr. Tommy Oliver is the secret base of the Dino Thunder Power Rangers. Inside this base sit a young woman named Hayley sits by the main computer with Tommy by her side sitting on the computer's console. Three teenagers are also in the base, a brown haired teen wearing a red unbuttoned shirt, a white under shirt and black jeans is leaning against one of the Raptor Cycles. An african-american teen in a blue unbuttoned shirt, a white under shirt and black jeans is sitting on a table with a number of scientific equipment on it. A brownish blonde girl in a brown and yellow shirt and blue jeans sits in a chair next to the same table. By the door to the hidden base Clayton stands. Clayton is no longer in his white jump suit. He is now wearing a black jacket with a white under shirt and black jeans. His arms are crossed as he looks at five the individuals in the room. Tommy looked around and looked puzzled.

"Alright, where is Trent?" Tommy asked the group.

The others looked at each other also confused. They had no clue were their comrade was. Tommy looked at Hayley. She spun the chair around to the computer's console and tried to contact Trent. A few minutes went by and Hayley got a response. Trent told her that his father had insisted that he go with him on a business trip. He thought that it would get him inspired to go into business. After the transmission with Trent, Hayley spun the chair back around to face everyone. Tommy looks at Clayton, "Now, please tell them what you told me Clayton." Tommy said.

"Right. Well, two months ago I was in my lab creating a few gadgets that could help Ranger teams when I received an emergency transmission from the planet of Aquitar. " Clayton said.

"Aquitar, isn't that the planet where Billy the first Blue Ranger went?" Hayley asked.

Clayton nodded his head. "Yes. As I was saying I received an emergency transmission from Aquitar."

It is June 5 2005. Clayton sits at one of the tables holding experiments in his lab in Angel Grove. Clayton's lab is the size of a garage. Computers, scientific equipment line the room. A few giant ion tubs in the few corners of the lab. Inside the ion tubes are the equipment of the very first Power Ranger team. Automatically scrolling on the screens of the computers are strange equations and configurations of experiments Clayton was running. Clayton places his left arm on the table. Clayton is talking on a what appears to be a cell phone.


"Alright thanks Jason, you have been really helpful. Give my best to Trini and Zack." Clayton moves the phone away from his ear and presses the end button. He closes the cell phone and places it on the table. He then leans back into the chair. He lets out a tired sigh. He places his right hand over his eyes and massages his temples with his fingers. With out warning the emergency transmission alarms went off. Startled, Clayton falls backwards out of the chair. Quickly jumping to his feet, he regains his composure. He rushes over to the communicator computer and activates the video link. The screen turns on to see a brown haired young man. The transmission is really fuzzy. The young man is hurt, he has blood on half of his face. The area behind him is destroyed, sparks and smoke cover everything. The man looks at Clayton.

"Clayton........ cough.... There is a terrible evil coming your way....... it came here and destroyed everything.... cough...." the young man said.

" Billy! Jesus if you can tell me what happened there!" Clayton said.

Propping himself up on the console of his computer, Billy tried to stay conscience. "Alright, a few days back we here noticed some suspicious objects had been moving about................ Well a few of the Rangers went to investigate and were attacked....................cough cough........... They were successful in destroying the objects but it wasn't until later did we realize what those things were here for...." Billy said to Clayton.

Clayton eyes and mouth are wide open. He is shocked at seeing his friend Billy like this. He finally is able to speak, "Billy.....who did this? The Machine Empire.... Zedd?" Clayton asked him.

Billy started coughing hard. His head lowered as his coughing continued. Clayton noticed on Billy's console blood had appeared where Billy coughed. Clayton was even more concerned for his old friend, but he knows that he is helpless to do anything for him. Billy's coughing stopped. Billy looked back at Clayton.

"The evil the did this goes by the name of Eclipse............. Clayton I am the only one here still alive....... The bastard and his generals Geist and Daimon killed everyone. Before they got here to the base, I was able to take apart one of the objects that came here......................... It was a scout bot....... It's mission is to look for any possible threat to Eclipse and attack it..............."

Billy starts coughing heavily again. Billy fell onto the console. Clayton's eyes widened. "Billy!!!" Clayton shouted. Billy was able to pick himself up and re-prop himself up on the console. Breathing very heavily he looks back at Clayton.

"Clayton..... the bots had transmitters on them.........these transmitters send out a specific signal...... once that signal disappears Eclipse knows there is a possible threat on that planet the bot was transmitting from................. He then goes to that planet and destroys the threat............................ I fear that some of these scout bots have gone to Earth..............." Billy said.

Clayton's eyes grow wide with horror. He then turns his head to a table that sits behind him. On the table is the remains of a two robots he destroyed days before. He turns back to Billy. "Billy take your time, but can you show me what those scout bots look like?" Clayton asked.

Billy nodded. With his free hand he presses a few buttons on his console. The specs of the scout bots appears on Clayton's computer. Clayton steps back from the computer. His eyes and mouth are now even wider. Clayton presses a few buttons and the information saves and transfers to another computer in the room. The transmission from Billy re-takes the screen. Billy looks at Clayton and sees the look of horror on his face.

"Clayton please tell me you didn't destroy one of these things..........." Billy questioned. Clayton remains silent. That silence told Billy everything. The transmission starts to cut out. Billy frantically starts typing stuff into his computer to try to keep the transmission open. "Clayton.............. how long ago did you destroy that thing...........cough cough.....?" Billy asks.

"A few days ago." Clayton responds. Billy's eyes widen. He starts typing more into his computer. He stops and looks at Clayton. "Clayton you do not have long before he show up there................... Judging by the his star ships it probably only take him............. two days to get there....... From what you told me about your projects you'll need to make sure that it's ready for him..........................."

The transmission cuts out. Clayton frantically starts to try to re-establish a connection with Aquitar. Though he tries hard, he can not re-establish. Frustrated Clayton slams his fist against the console of the computer. Clayton looks up at the screen and a tear runs down his face.

A tear sits on Clayton's face. The teens and Hayley are quite shocked by what Clayton had just said. Hayley looks over to Tommy and he also has a tear on his cheek. There is a moment of silence. Clayton leans against the door and puts his right hand over his eyes. Hayley stands up and walks over to Clayton. She puts her hand on Clayton's shoulder. With that Clayton removes his hand from his eyes and stands back up. He tries to regain his composure. He clears his throat.

"Well, after that I went looking for Tommy here. Being a former leader of the Power Rangers and the greatest Ranger of all time, I thought he would be perfect to help me with my project." Clayton said. Hayley places her arm around Clayton's shoulder and tries to comfort him. She looks at Tommy and he nods. Tommy walks over to Clayton. Clayton looks at Tommy.

"What is this project Clayton?" Tommy asked.

Clayton nods. He pats Hayley's arm and looks at her and smiles. Hayley returns the smile. With that she takes her arm off his shoulder and Clayton walks to the middle of the room. He then turns to the group.

"Well, if early was any indication I've created a new Power Ranger power." Clayton said. The teens and Hayley's eyes widen with then news. They thought that they were the only active Ranger force around at the moment. The teenage girl looks at Clayton.

"Well, why can't we just take care of these guys. I'm sure we can handle it." the girl says. The other two teens nod their heads in agreement with the girl. Tommy then looked over to the teens. He shook his head, " Kira, Conner, Ethan you are great Rangers but, from the fight with Eclipses lackeys earlier tells me that you all will not be powerful enough to face this threat." Tommy then puts his hand on his forehead, "I can't believe that I forgot to introduce you three to Clayton." Tommy walks over to the three teens. "Clayton these are the Dino Thunder Power Rangers," pointing to the girl, "This is Kira the Yellow Ranger," pointing to the young man in blue, "This is Ethan the Blue Ranger," now pointing to the teen in red, "This Conner the Red Ranger and the leader of the Rangers. The White Ranger Trent is with his father on a business trip."

Clayton smiles, walks over to the teens and shakes their hands. After shaking their hands he walks back to the center of the room. Clayton smiles a bit. "Tommy's right. Although you all are great Rangers, you simply don't have the ability to face Eclipse. You also have your own villain to defeat." Tommy and Hayley chuckles. The three teens look at the floor and grown a bit. They know Clayton is right, they still have to defeat their foe Mezogog. Tommy then looks at Clayton confused.

" Clayton tell me your plan. You said you wanted me to help." Tommy said.

Clayton looks over to Tommy. "Right, well I want you to lead the new team." Clayton states. Tommy's eyes widen. Before Tommy can say anything Clayton speaks up. "I know it's a lot to ask. But I figured who else to ask but the greatest Ranger that ever lived." Clayton smiled. Tommy smiled and nods. "Alright Clayton I'm in. But I don't want to lead." Clayton looks at Tommy with a surprised look on his face.

"This is your team Clayton, you should lead. I'll just council you on how to be a good leader." Tommy says to him. Clayton shakes his head and smiles in agreement.

Clayton smiled. "We will have to search for five other people to take on being Rangers." he turns to the teens in the room, "And they are excluded because they still have to fight Mezogog." Tommy nods his head. He starts to wonder where to begin the search. Should they start their in Reefside or start in Angel Grove where it all started.

The girl then looks at Clayton. "So, how do you know Dr. O? We say his video diary about the Power Rangers and you weren't mentioned in it." Clayton smiles as does Tommy.

September 1993 in the city of Angel Grove. A small boy is walking through one of the cities parks. He walks around a corner and sees six teens fighting grey weird looking men. The little boy hides in a near by bush. He watches the teenagers defeat the weird looking men. Suddenly the a huge creature appears before them. It starts talking about destroying the world for a man named Zedd. The six teens look mad. The next thing the small boy sees is each teen produce a strange box out of now where.

"It's Morphing Time!" the teen in red shouts.

There is a giant flash of light. The little boy shields his eyes. After a moment passes, the boy moves his hands and sees his heros the Power Rangers where the teens were standing. The boy watches wide eyed as his heros battle the ugly creature. After fifteen minutes pass, the Rangers start to lose the battle. The boy starts to think that he has to help the Power Rangers. As quietly as he could he sneaks around and sees a few that he could throw at the monster. Maybe he could distract the monster long enough for the Rangers to win. He picks the up a few rocks and hurls them at the monster.

"Hey you big bully, leave them alone!" the boy yells as he throws rocks.

The rocks bounce off the monster. The monster looks over to where the boy is standing. The Rangers are on the ground and look over. The Pink Ranger shouts, "NO, get away!" But it was too late the monster shot at the child. The blast lands in front of the kid. The blast sends the child backwards a few feet. The boy lands on the ground now knocked out. He is badly hurt. The Rangers get up and see the boy hurt. With the monster distracted the Rangers form the Power Blaster from their weapons. With a huge laser blast the monster blows up. The Rangers run over to the boy. The boy is barely breathing.

"That has to be the bravest little boy I've ever seen." the Yellow Ranger says.
"Or the dumbest." the Blue Ranger says.
"Well, if it wasn't for him we may not have won today." the Green Ranger says.

The Pink Ranger picks up the little boy. "We need to get him the Command Center."

The Blue Ranger walks over and takes the kids pulse. "Kimberly's right, if we don't this boy may not live."

With that the Rangers teleport to their hidden base. The energy that surrounded them when they teleported to their base disappears. A robot walks over to the Pink Ranger.

"Ay Yi Yi! What happened???" the robot asks.

In a giant ion tube in behind the robot a giant floating head looks at the Rangers with concern. "Why did you bring him here?" the head asks.

"This kid saved our lives. If it wasn't for him we may not have survived." the Black Ranger told the floating head.

The robot brought out a cot for the boy to lay on. The Pink Ranger walks over to the cot and lays the boy on it. The robot started hooking up the boy to some machines. To find out who the boy was. The robot took a cotton swab and got a DNA sample of the boy. The bot ran it through the computer. The computer produced an entire bio for the little kid. The robot turned to the Rangers.

"The boy's name is Clayton. His parents are a couple of millionaires that seem to ignore their little boy. They are always away on business or something." the robot say.

The Red Ranger looks at the boy. "I thought I recognized the boy. He joined Tommy and I's martial arts class a month ago." Then the Green Ranger gets it. "That's right! He is a great kid. Very lonely though. He is very determined. What ever he sets out to do he does." The Green Rangers says.

The little boy starts to wake up. He sees the Rangers and smiles. He looks at the Red Ranger. "Sensi..... did I help?" the boy asks softly. The Rangers are shocked! The floating head looked at Clayton. "Young one, how do you know how he is?" the head asks the boy.

The little boy looks at the giant floating head is frightened by the head with out a body. The Pink Ranger kneels next to Clayton. The Ranger removes her helmet to reveal a brown haired caucasian teenage girl. She looks at him and places her hand on his forehead. "It's ok, he's a friend. You don't have to be scared." she spoke.

Clayton looked at her and was able to calm down. He cleared his throat, "I saw you all turn into the Power Rangers in the park. I was walking home when I saw you fighting these grey guys so I hid in the bushes." Clayton said.

The Rangers powered down. They were now back in their civilian clothing. The six Rangers looked at Clayton and smiled. Clayton looked around the room in amazement. The robot walks over to Clayton and checks his vitals. They have stabilized but they are still weak. Clayton looks at the robot wide eyed.

Jason walked over to Clayton,"This is Alpha. He is also a friend." The robot shook Clayton's hand. Zordon then speaks up, "You can not tell anyone that these people are Power Rangers." Clayton nods his head in agreement. Tommy then walks over to him. "You know that you even though you know who we are you can't help us." Tommy told him. Clayton looked at Tommy and smiled, "Sensi, but I want to help. And no matter what you say I'm going to do what I can." Clayton said.

Tommy smiled. He looked at the other Rangers. They all laughed, because they knew the had a new recruit. The gathered around him and everyone who didn't know him introduced themselves.

Hayley and the teens looked a Clayton with amazement. They thought that the kid Justin was the first kid to join the ranks of the Power Rangers. Hayley looked at Tommy. "Why isn't he in the video diary?"

"Well, he never was an official Ranger. As in he didn't have Ranger powers. After a while he and the first Blue Ranger created a device for him that gave him the protection of Ranger armor." Tommy stats. He walks over to Clayton and pats him on the back. Clayton smiles. He has always liked that story.

The teens are still surprised that Clayton has been with the Power Rangers since the very beginning. He may never have been official, but he is also one of the oldest Rangers there that is known. The teen in blue shook his head. He looked at Clayton. "So, where have you been if you've known Dr. O so long?" he asked.

Clayton looked at him. "Well after the Rangers gained their powers of the ninja from the creator of that power Ninjor, I theorized that the other Zords still existed somewhere but without a power source. I also thought that they would be a great asset to the Rangers if you just found a new power source. After they received the power of the Zeo crystal I decided to se if I was right."

Everyone looked at him. They wanted him to finish the tale. They wanted to know what happened with those Zords and powers. Even Tommy was interested to know. Clayton got the hint and continued, "Well, I did find them and in the Zords I discovered blue prints for all the powers. After a lot of experimenting and help from Billy, I was able to create a completely new power. The details of that are long and boring. I'll tell you all another time." Clayton says.

The teens and Hayley are a little disappointed. Tommy rolls his eyes in relief that Clayton didn't go into detail. When he or Billy went into detail about the technical aspects of the things they built it would always bore him out of his mind. Clayton noticed Tommy's reaction to him not going into detail about how he created the powers and laughed.

On a star ship orbiting the planet, Eclipse sits on his giant throne. Eclipse presses a button the right arm of the throne. The door opens and in walks Geist. Geist walks over to the throne. She then kneels and bows her head before her master. After a moment she raises her head towards Eclipse.

"Sire, you summoned me?" Geist asks.

Eclipse looks at his general. "Yes, time to attack the planet again. We are going to draw out this so called threat and rid ourselves of it." the powerful voice of Eclipse says to the general.

The general stands, nods and quickly leaves the room. Eclipse presses a button on the left arm of the chair and a video screen appears before him. On the screen is the planet Earth. The image zooms onto a specific spot on the planet. The video screen caption says London, England. In the middle of the city his forces ooze out of the shadows. Geist is the last to emerge. With a quick motion the shadow men start attacking the people. A devilishly evil laugh escapes the mouth of Geist. Eclipse watches as his general lay waist to the people of Earth. He then starts laughing maniacally.

Sirens start sounding in the Dino Thunder Ranger base. Hayley rushes over to the computer. She sits in the chair and spins around to the computer console. She started typing quickly to find out what the trouble was. She finds the problem and brings in on screen. Hayley moves away from computer in horror. Everyone in the room rushed over to the computer. Clayton sees what was going on and is also horrified. Tommy looks at Clayton and then gets worried. The Dino Rangers look at the screen and see this. Thinking that this is a regular threat the back away from the computer and raise their left arms in front of them. Devices appear on their arms.

"Dino Thunder....... Power........." the three teens start. Clayton quickly spins around stops them from completing the morphing action. The teens look at Clayton like he's crazy. Clayton looks at Tommy and Tommy nods at Clayton.

"Those are minions of Eclipse. You three have to sit this out." Clayton says to them. Clayton walks over to a bag that is sitting next to the door. He picks up the bag and opens the bag. He reaches in and grabs a square device and a belt. The belt has two buckles. There is a regular one and a strange looking one. He walks back over to Tommy and hands both objects to Tommy. Tommy looks at them.

"This the new morpher and a special belt to hold it. The only thing is that you won't be able to use your Dino Morpher anymore. The Dino Thunder team will have to find another Black Ranger." Clayton tells Tommy.

Tommy looks at the two objects in his hands. He puts them on the computer console. He then raises his left arm up in front of him. His Dino morpher appears on his arm. He removes it from his arm. He places the Dino morpher on the console on and he picks the new morpher and belt back up. He puts the belt back on. Tommy turns to Clayton. "How does it work?" Tommy asks.

"You remember how you morphed with original morpher?" Clayton asks. Tommy nods. Clayton smiles, "Good, because the principles are the same. You hold the morpher in front of you. You then press the two buttons right here." Clayton points to two buttons on the sides of the morpher. "In your case you then say OSR Green." Clayton walks to the middle of the room. Tommy joins him. "Are you ready?" Clayton asks. Tommy nods and says, "Looks like our search for the other Rangers will have to wait a while." Clayton chuckled to himself. "If you will." Clayton says.

Tommy looks at Clayton and stops. "No you lead the way. As I said I want you to be the leader. I'll advise you and I have a feeling you have been wanting to do what I think you want to say for a long time." Tommy said with a smile. Clayton smiled in return. Tommy knew what phrase Clayton had been wanting to say with his old Ranger friend since he started helping them back in 1993.

"Alright, It's Morphing Time!" Clayton exclaims as he reaches behind him and grabs his morpher. Tommy and Clayton hold the morpher out in front of them. They both press the activation buttons on the sides of the morphers. The morphers open and the two exclaim, "OSR Green!" Tommy says, "OSR White!" Clayton says. There was a flash of a brilliant white. The light fades and the two are now in Ranger uniforms. The both lift their left arms to their chests. They open a hidden panel and press a few buttons. White and Green energy surround the two Rangers and they disappear. Hayley and the Dino Thunder Rangers turn to the screen and the two appear in England.

The two Rangers are standing in front of an massive amount of shadow men. The army of shadow men parts and Geist walks down the center. Clayton and Tommy look at the alien woman. Clayton had only encountered the shadow men before he had yet to meet the generals.

"Who are you?" Clayton asks in a harsh voice.

Geist stops and looks at the White Ranger. "Now that isn't very polite. Despite your rudeness I'll introduce myself. I am General Geist." she told the two. Tommy and Clayton then get into attack position. "Go ahead and attack me. You do not stand a chance against me."

Looks like Tommy and Clayton's search for other Rangers will be cut short until they can defeat General Geist. Can these two defeat the army of Eclipse being so heavily outnumbered? Find out next time on Power Rangers OSR.

A little heads up Chapter Three will take me a little longer to write. I'm haveing trouble choreographing the fight in London. I will try to have it up by the end of the week.

I am also working on the gadgets for the Rangers. Because we all know all Ranger teams need cool gadgets. I have one but it is still in the editing phase. Those gadgets will be revealed soon though

Last time on Power Rangers OSR. Clayton reveals to Tommy and the Dino Thunder Rangers that the evil Eclipse has arrived on Earth. Clayton asks Tommy to join him on a new Ranger team and they'll need to find five more Rangers to combat this new foe and his minions. Just then, the Shadow men that Tommy and Clayton fought in the forest appear in London. Tommy agrees to join and receives his OSR morpher. Together Clayton and Tommy morph and teleport to London where they meet Geist one of Eclipse's general's and a legion of Shadow men. Although they are severely outnumbered can Clayton and Tommy beat Geist and her legion of Shadow men? Find on in chapter three of Power Rangers OSR!

"Let us see if you are truly a worthy advisories. Shadow men attack!" Geist yells

The Shadow me charge towards the two Rangers. The two look at each other. They nod, face the charging Shadow men and charge into the Shadow men. Clayton sticks his right arm out. He suddenly stops to close line a shadow man. Clayton turns his head, to see a Shadow man attempting a tornado kick. Clayton raises his left arm to black the kick. Out of the corner of his eye Clayton sees a Shadow man throwing a punch. Clayton ducks under the punch. As the arm goes past him, he slides down it's arm a bit and loops his arm around the Shadow mans. Clayton then snaps it's arm, clutches it's hand and hurls it into a group of Shadow men nocking them down like bowling pins.

Tommy sweep kicks a group of Shadow men. He jumps up and avoids a kick from a shadow man. He quickly punches it in the chest. The force of the punch sends it into a near by car. Tommy spins around and kicks a group of Shadow men. He leaps into the air and tornado kicks the surrounding Shadow men creating a tiny clearing for himself. Tommy looks at numerous Shadow men. Thinking quickly he reaches to his right side for a blaster. He pulls out his blaster. The blaster looks like a revolver with a scope under the barrel. He raises his blaster up and begins to fire into the Shadow men. As he fires Tommy notices a Shadow man behind him. He turns and kicks it in the chest while continuing to fire his blaster into the masses of Shadow men.

Clayton rushes over to a fire hydrant. He reaches to his right side and removes his blaster. He places the blaster's barrel on the side nozzle of the hydrant. Clayton pulls the trigger and blasts open the nozzle unleashing a flood of water onto the Shadow men. Clayton holsters his blaster and leaps into back in the masses. Clayton reaches to left side and unsheathes his sword. He holds the swords hilt high in front of his helmet. The blade begins to glow white. Clayton crouches in a running stance. The Shadow men decide to charge the White Ranger while he's distracted. As the run at him, Clayton sprints towards the Shadow men. With great speed Clayton strikes the Shadow men's chest on both his left and right sides. He stops and spins striking all shadow men around him. He bends with sword extended above his head. Clayton spins the sword around in his hand and sheaths the blade. As the sword fully enters the sheath, every Shadow man he hit with his blade explode.

Geist smiles, these two maybe worthy opponents after all. She reaches above her right shoulder and unsheathes a sword of her own. She runs up behind the White Ranger. She swings her blade striking Clayton in the back. Clayton falls to the ground and rolls onto his back. He arches his back up in pain. While he's down, Geist hooks her foot under Clayton's back while it's arched and kicks Clayton into a light poll. The light post bends over Clayton. Tommy looks over and sees Clayton down. Tommy then open fires upon Geist. Geist anticipated that move and easily dodges the blasts. She grins to herself. She raises her left hand towards Tommy and unleashes a laser barrage of her own. Tommy jumps up to avoid the blasts. He avoids a few of them, but is still hit. Tommy flies through a window of one of the buildings.

"Maybe I was wrong to think you two maybe worthy opponents." Geist laughs.

Clayton staggers to his feet. Clayton is now pissed. Striking someone while their back is turned is cowardly and always has been in his opinion. Clayton tries to control his anger but finds it very hard. Clayton then charges Geist. Geist hears something behind her. Turning her head she sees the White Ranger almost on top of her. She turns around to face him. Clayton swings his foot up to kick her in the chest. She blocks with her right arm. With her left she throws a punch at Clayton. Clayton catches her fist with his left hand, he lifts her arm and punches in her armpit hoping to dislocate it from the shoulder. His luck held. She screamed a little in agony. Now she was at a disadvantage, but she didn't count herself out yet. With her right hand still holding her sword, strikes Clayton in the back with the pummel of the sword. Clayton dropped to his knee, releasing her left arm. Tommy exits the building he was thrown into. He looks over to the fight between Clayton and Geist. He takes a deep breath and charges towards the battle. What remains of the Shadow men get in his way.

"Power Weapon!" Tommy calls out, holding his right hand in front of his helmet.

A staff about forty inches in length appeared in his hand. The staff had tiny blades on either end of the it. Inside of the helmet Tommy smiles. Spinning his power staff around he plows throw the Shadow men. Grasping the staff with both hands he strikes Shadow men on all sides. He bends down and spins the staff above him, the staff striking surrounding Shadow men. Tommy stands and now only a few Shadow men remain. The few Shadow men left retreat. With the Shadow men gone Tommy rushes to Clayton's aid.

At the Dino Thunder base, the Rangers and Hayley watch the battle on the monitor. Conner grunts with frustration and pounds on the console. He walks away from it and to the middle of the room. Hayley, Ethan and Kira turn and look at Conner.

"We can't just wait here and watch. We have to morph and help them." Conner angrily states.

"But Clayton asked us to wait here." Kira replies.

"Yeah and besides you see how much trouble Dr. O and Clayton are having. We would just distract them and possible get killed by that thing." Ethan says in a somewhat scared tone.

"Conner, just believe in those two. Clayton and Dr. Oliver have been fighting evil for a long time. They know what they are doing." Hayley says.

Conner crossed his arms and grunts. They all look back at the screen and watch the battle.

The battle is heating up between the Rangers and Geist. Tommy swings his staff in a downward motion towards Geist's chest. She blocks the staff with her sword. As she does Clayton hits her stomach with a powerful kick. She stumbles backward a little. She places her arm over her stomach where the kick landed. Tommy and Clayton rush Geist. She looks up in time to block a kick from Tommy. Clayton swings his foot up and knocks the sword from her hand. Geist swings her arm to back hand Clayton. Clayton catches her arm only to catch a kick to his stomach. Clayton is knocked backward a bit. Tommy attempts to kick her with his right leg, but Geist swings her left knee up to block. She swings her body to make their dislocated arm strike Tommy. Tommy blocks the attack and uses a spin kick to strike Geist. The kick lands striking the small of her back. She staggers forward a little. She is about to turn when Clayton uses a sweep kick to knock her off her feet. She lands on her back. Clayton stands next to Tommy as Geist leaps to her feet. Clayton looks at Tommy.

"Ready for a double team attack?" he asks.
"When ever you are." Tommy replies.

Geist now blind with anger attacks the two. Like mirror copies the two Rangers attack Geist. She throws a punch towards Clayton. Both Tommy and Clayton dodge. As she brings her arm back around, Tommy with his left arm and Clayton with his right punch Geist square in the chest. The force of the punches send her flying backwards. She lands in a car. Geist staggers to her feet. The car she landed in is totaled.

"I guess you two are formidable foes. Don't go celebrating just yet, because you may have won this battle but the war is just beginning." Geist stated.

As she finished talking she fades away. The two Rangers stand there, wondering if that was last of that particular general. Tommy pats Clayton's shoulder, "Good job Clayton." he tells Clayton. Clayton looks at Tommy, and inside the helmet smiles a little.

"You two my friend. Let's get out here. We still have five Rangers to find." Clayton says.

The two Rangers raises their left arms up to their chest. They open the hidden panel on the glove, press a few buttons and energy in the color of their suits surround them. The energy fly's into the sky.

On Eclipses ship, Geist staggers into the main chamber. An energy beam grabs her and lifts her off the ground. The beam starts to choke her. She looks up to see the beams source. It's coming from a hand that's on an arm rest of Eclipse's throne. Dark red eyes begin to glow brightly, from the dark figure sitting there.

"You have failed me Geist." Eclipse's deep voice stated. The beam is using on her begins to choke her more. Geist starts to gasp for air.

"I'm............ sorry....... my lord." Geist manages to say.
"Give me a reason to let you live." the dark lord says to her.

Geist looks at Eclipse, "Because...... I know that I.......... can defeat them.............. the next time I face them." she mutters.

Eclipse releases her from the beam. She falls to the floor. She gets to her knees. She places her right hand on her chest and begins cough. "You had better. Next time I may not be in a forgiving mood." Eclipse said. The doors open and Daimon walks into the room. He walks to the throne and kneels before Eclipse. He raises his head to his master.

"What is it Daimon?" Eclipse questions.
"Sire, I have found something interesting." Daimon starts. "I took energy readings of the beings that fought Geist. And there are similar power readings all over the planet. They are significantly weaker than the two Geist fought, but I felt you should be alerted to their presence."

Eclipse squints his eyes with concern. He turns his head slightly to the right. A keypad appears on the thrones right arm. He punches a few keys and a vid window opens in front of him. He punches a few more buttons and Daimon's scan appears in the screen. The image is of planet Earth and there are blinking lights flashing over the planet. Eclipse sits back in his chair. He raises his hands in front of his face and crosses his fingers. He lets out a sigh like growl under his breath.

It's the next day. At the Dino Thunder Base Tommy is packing up somethings. Clayton walks down the stairs with some stuff for Tommy. Tommy motions where to put them. Clayton walks over to set down the stuff. The Ranger Kira then walks down the stairs. Kira notices that Tommy is packing up with Clayton's assistance. She walks over to Tommy.

"So you are actually leaving Dr. O?" Kira asks.

Tommy looks up at her and smiles. "Yeah, I've seen first hand the power of Eclipse and decided that Clayton is going to need help."

Kira frowns a bit. A teen in white walks down the stairs. Clayton notices him as he gets to the final step. Clayton smiles and he walks over to the teen.

"Hi, I wanted the other White Ranger before we left." Clayton says with a tiny chuckle under his breath. "I'm Clayton." he continues extending his hand.

The teen smiles and shakes Clayton's hand. "I'm Trent. And I was hoping that someone could fill me in."

Clayton motions for him to take a seat. Trent sits and Clayton then proceeds to explain everything that he needed to know. Who he was, why he needed Tommy's assistance and how he knew Tommy. Trent has a surprised look on his face. Tommy looks up from packing. "A little much to take in all at once huh?" he asks.

"Yeah, I mean there are two threats to Earth attacking at the same time. You two are going to recruit a new team of Rangers combat the newest foe. Wow." Trent states.
Clayton smiles and looks over to Tommy. Tommy closes the final case he needs. Clayton picks up what he had set down and walks over to Tommy. He sets the box on top of the cases. Kira looks at the two.

"So, will we see you again Dr. O?" she asks.

Tommy looks at her and nods in a yes motion. Clayton smiles and motions that Kira should stand back. Clayton raises his left arm up to his chest. He then begins to fiddle with the watch like device on his wrist. Tommy notices the device and begins to laugh. Clayton raises his eyes to look at Tommy, smiles and begins to laugh with him. Trent and Kira look at each other confused. They couldn't figure out what was so funny. Clayton looks back at the watch and clicks the button on the side of the device. A beam of energy surrounds Tommy, Clayton and all the stuff Tommy packed. The beam flies out of the Dino Thunder base. The beam flies over two states. The beam finally lands in a small room. The energy disappears and they are in a dark room.

"Lights." Clayton calls out. They room becomes illuminated. Computers activate and ion tubes light up along with lights under some of the lab equipment. Tommy looks around the room in astonishment. Clayton takes some of the stuff Tommy pack and moved it to a empty table. Tommy walks over to one of the ion tubes. He looks inside of the tube and sees a lot of the old Ranger equipment. Tommy turns and looks at Clayton.

"So were is this base located?"he asks.

"On the outskirts of a small town in Illinois. I thought to do a country wide search for Rangers we needed to be more centrally located." Clayton states. Tommy nods. Clayton walks towards the computer console. Clayton starts typing. The computer brings up the results of a country wide search of worthy candidates for the Ranger powers. Each of the persons complete bios appear on the screen. Clayton spins the chair around to Tommy.

"If you could stand over here. The five individuals will land right there." Clayton says. Tommy moves over to the computer console. Clayton spins back around to the console and types the command "Ranger Retrieve."

Paradise Michigan. Two female teenagers walk into one of the towns local teen hang outs. The name of the place is Galaxy Arcade. Although the name of the place said arcade, it was far more than a mere arcade. It was also one of the cities teenage clubs. The two girls sit at one of the tables inside. The waitress comes over to take their order. The caucasian girl orders a cherry soda, and the asian-american girl orders a root beer float. The waitress walks off and the girls start to talk. The two converse amongst themselves waiting for their drinks to arrive at the table.

"So, what have you been up to Luda?" The caucasian girl asks.

"Not much. I created a new program for the robot I'm building." Luda replies, "How about you Sophie?"

Sophie smiles and shrugs. The waitress appears and gives them their drinks. With their drinks now at table the converse on other things.

Elsewhere in Paradise Michigan. At Paradise High, on the football field, the cheerleaders are practicing their routines. The football team is also on the field for afternoon practice. A caucasian girl in a blue and gold cheerleading uniform walks over to her gym bag. She pulls out her water bottle and takes a quick drink. A hand grabs her shoulder from behind. She grabs the hand and arm it's attached to and swings the figure over her shoulder. The figure lands on its back in front of her. She looks down and it's her boyfriend. With a surprised look she quickly bends down to his side.

"Oh my God are you ok Jesse?" the girl asks.

Jesse looks up at her. He smiles and rubs his head. "I'll be fine Catherine."

Catherine smiles and helps him to his feet. She brushes the dust off his shirt. "What are you doing here Jesse?" she asks. Jesse looks at her, "Well, your cheerleading practice is over and I thought you might like to come with me to The Spot." he replies.
Catherine smiles. "I want to take a shower first. I don't want to go anywhere and smell."

Jesse escorts Catherine to the locker rooms. Jesse stops and sits on a near by bench while Catherine goes in to shower. Twenty minutes go by and Catherine finally emerges from the locker room. Jesse extends his arm and they walk out to his truck. They hop into his truck and drive to the towns other teenage hang out. They get out and walk into The Spot.

Blue Haven, Nevada. Inside the dorm of the art college The School of Creation. A caucasian man is sitting on his couch. He's sits there and watches cartoons. The door then bursts open. An african-american man rushes over the man on the couch. The man on the couch looks over to the man who burst in.

"Maurice, what the hell?" the man on the couch asks.
"Brett did you see the news today!?!" Maurice asks.

Brett looks at the man, "What news Maurice?" he asks.

A little frustrated Maurice grabs the remote away from Brett and turns on WWN. On the news network was the debris from the fight between Clayton, Tommy, Geist and her legion of Shadow men. The two look at the screen in amazement. Brett sinks back into his seat. Maurice leaps over the couch and lands next to Brett. The news caster speaks of the devastation that London is in. The news caster also shows a tiny clip of footage that they had of the attackers. The clip shows the Shadow men and Geist. The footage then cuts out. Brett takes back the remote and turns off the tv. Brett gets up and walks into the middle of the room. He has a look of shock on his face. All Maurice can do nod. Suddenly black energy starts to surround Brett and blue energy surrounds Maurice. The energy flies out of the dorm room and into the sky.

In Paradise Michigan, at The Spot. Catherine and Jesse are sitting at a booth. They are drinking soda floats and discussing the upcoming prom. Jesse's alarm on his watch goes off. He looks down and smacks forehead with his left hand. He looks at Catherine with a little disappointment.

"Catherine I'm real sorry, but I have to get going. I forgot, my brother needs some help with his community project." Jesse states.

Catherine smiles and nods. Jesse leans over the table, kisses her cheek and heads out. As Jesse leaves the building a pink energy surrounds Catherine. The energy flies out of the building.

On the other side of Paradise at Galaxy Arcade, Luda and Sophie are talking about the prom that's coming up and who they may go with. As they're talking a red energy forms around Sophie and yellow energy forms around Luda. The two energies fly through the sky light. But the energy phases through the glass as if the glass wasn't there.

The five energy beams fly through the skyway and come together as they enter the same state. The beams then enters a building in Illinois. The beams of light disappear from around the individuals and the fall to the ground as if they fell from a few feet off the ground. They all stager to their feet and look around. The room is very dimly lit. Catherine notices Luda and Sophie.

"Hey Sophie you got sucked here too?" she asks, "Oh and the nerd's here too."

Luda lowers her head. Catherine had always treated her horribly. Maurice and Brett looked around the room. They were still a little dazed from the teleportation. "Could someone please tell us what the hell is going on here?" Maurice asks.

"Gladly!" a voice says.

A spot light appears over a chair and a shadowy man. The five look towards the spot light. The chair spins around and there is Clayton. The five still are confused about what's going on. The shadowy figure raises his head. The five see Tommy grinning.

"So what's the deal? Why are we here?" Brett asks.

"You five have heard of the Power Rangers right?" Tommy asks. They all nod in conformation. Clayton smiles a little more.

"Well then, you are going to be amazed at this fact. You five have been chosen to become a new team Power Rangers. " Clayton says with his hands cross in front of his chest.

The new Rangers have been gathered. Will they accept the power and join in the fight against Eclipse. And what of Daimon's discovery of the other Ranger signatures that are on Earth. What does Eclipse have planned for them? Find out in chapter four of Power Rangers OSR.

I wanted to give an update on the fourth chapter. It is in the works. I am tring to come up with a timeline of events that I want to happen and when. It should be done by next wednesday. It may be a little longer than that, because I go start a new year of college monday.
