I had hoped that Fire and Ice was built up enough to finally garner a nomination.
This was my hope as wellwhile reading the 1st 6 chapters of your story that occur prior to any Ranger-activity going down. I'd only hoped that things would go somewhere exciting, and you've met,and even exceeded my expectations. Knowing that you delivered on the Ranger action after all the anticipation now has me anticipating what willcome of Zedd and his quest to uphold a loyalty that has transcended even death. You really deserve to be in the polls.

And thank you very much as well. Yours is the other fic, alongside my own and Battle Ranger's, that has managed to revamp the MMPR story and expand on certain elements in a way that's allowed your story to keep it's identity among the remakes, while still managing to be really entertaining. You deserve to be seconded for this contest.

To my knowladge the first FFotM was in September of 2003. He won that with Thunderstrike, in Dec 2004 he tied for first with Reloaded, and won in January(TF) and March(Lightspeed). Yeah that's more then everyone else, but it's still only a couple.

My thoughts exactly. You people are making problems where there don't need to be problems. If Ryu dousn't want to be in the poll, thats his/her choice (sad as it is). If past records are a certain way, they don't need to be argued over. If everyone else is hunky dory with being put on the poll without being asked, then we don't need to ask their permission. If a person's fic is that good, and wins consecutivly, then so be it.

If pigs want to fly in a frozen underworld, then god help us, they are going to fly in a frozen underworld!
