Power Rangers - Post Apocolypse

The world was calm. Unusually so. All of a sudden out of the skies a violent force of aliens attacked the planet. The worlds military forces tried to fight the aliens but it was no use. Within days the aliens were in control of all major cities in the world. They quickly enforced a new world order making the people of earth the slaves of the people of ZanZar. Most people rebelled against this so they went to live underground. Everyone else was either shipped away to Zanzar, Put to work in the newly built mines. The people that were left behind were either weakly built or deemed unfit. They were given the jobs of looking after the mostly empty towns and cities. Something had to be done to save the earth from their fate. So the rebels of the underground decided to do something that had not been done for a long time. Create a new team of super skilled Power Rangers.

It actually sounds very promising. Though I personally might haveworded it a little bit better, your little synopsis is actually pretty well written overall, and was a pretty informative set up for only being a paragraoh long. A lot of other series' synopsis are very wooden, like "Bad guy here, good guy try to stop, good have tools".

I'm not too crazy about the name Apocolypse Force, but it may just take time for it to sound right to me. Also, apocalypse is spelled with an "a" instead of that 2nd "o". Ok, so that's the last nitpick from this post. I promise.

The Rebel Leaders all sat around a large metal table. Debating on whether it was such a good idea. For the Power Rangers to be reactivated. One Rebel Leader in particular was dead set against creating a new team.

"I dont see what your problem is. If creating a new set of Rangers. Means defeating the Zanzar and freeing the solar system from their grasp. Then why shouldn't we just do it." said Morgan. A slender, attractive, brunette woman. Who had lead the Rebels since the day of the invasion.

"Everytime a Ranger team is activated. They always get into some sort of predicement. Which leads to the enemy gaining the upperhand." said Desmond, A small, grey haired, cranky man. Who joined the Rebels shortly after the day of the invasion. Although there was a rumour that Desmond was an Agent for the Zanzar nothing was ever proven and he was placed on the Leaders council.

"But the Rangers always succeed in the end." said Morgan.

"Yes by a stroke of pure luck." said Desmond.

"How would you know. The last Ranger team retired a hundred years before you was born." said Morgan.

"I studied them at school. Ive also accessed information on them in the Rebels archives." said Desmond.

"Give me an example of a team of Rangers winning by pure luck." said Morgan.

"Every team since their creation." said Desmond.

"As much as id love to hear the debate about the Power Rangers. We need to press on. Lets have a show of hands. For all those in favour of reactivating the Power Rangers." said Brody. A tall, black haired, attractive man. Who had also lead the Rebels since the day of the invasion.

"You cant be serious." said Desmond.

"Well we have no alternative. We have tried everything else with no luck." said Brody.

"Unless you can think of something." said Morgan with a sly smile on her face.

"What about those Beetleborgs." suggested Desmond. Everyone stared at him as though he was some sort of lunatic.

"The Beetleborgs... You cannot be serious... If the Power Rangers are failures. Then the Beetleborgs are definitely failures. The Power Rangers have been around for much longer. Besides the Beetleborgs were created by a long since dead artist and ghost." laughed Morgan.

"Fine but dont come running to me for ideas. When the Power Rangers fail. Which they will." said Desmond. He then stood up and stormed out of the meeting room.




In another level of the undergound lair for the Rebels. A young adult about twenty one years old. Who was regular height with blonde hair. Was sat at a control panel. Typing in some codes. When the intercom started bleeping.

"Hey Tahnee can you get that for me." said the blonde man. To a mousy haired girl with glasses.

"Yeah sure Nat." replied Tahnee. Nat was a technician for the Rebels. He helped keep the technology in the Underground working. When the Zanzar invaded. Nat was captured and sent to the space port with his girlfriend Lillian. Ready to be sent to ZanZar. But the Rebels came along just as the prisoners including Nat and Lillian were being herded onto the space ship. The guards suddenly opened fire on the Rebels and a huge battle broke out. The Rebels managed to free Nat. But Lillian wasn't as lucky and she was sent away to ZanZar. Nat kept himself to himself when the Rebels took him to the Underground. But he was coaxed into using his technology skills. When a virus somehow found its way into the Undergounds computer systems. When Nat and the Undergrounds Technicians deleted the virus. Brody and Morgan with most of the other Leaders approval made Nat chief technician.

"Erm Nat its Commander Morgan. She wants you to report to the meeting room immediatly." said Tahnee.

"Ok sure." said Nat. He finished up with the codes then went to the meeting room in the higher levels of the Underground.



Elsewhere in the sleeping quarters. A brown haired woman. Also a young adult with brunette coloured hair. Sat on her bunk. Clicking away on what seemed to be a laptop. Her name was Gina. She was a security operative for the Underground. When she first joined the Rebels. She was fighting off two ZanZar soldiers. Brody and Morgan noticed her amazing fighting skills. So after letting her finish of the soldiers. They asked her if she would like to join and if she would take part in the fight against the invading ZanZar soldiers. Ever since then Gina has often been called upon to go on missions with other operatives. To fight small groups of ZanZar. She's headstrong and doesnt like being told she's wrong. But she just accepts it and does what she can to improve. On her laptop she was looking through photos of her life before the invasion. When all of a sudden the alarms for the entire complex started sounding.

"Great just great." said Gina. She then put down the laptop. Grabbed her laser gun and rushed out of the room. Out in the corridor Gina rushed towards the elevator. When all of a sudden an explosion ripped through the corridor.

You need to work on your complete and incomplete sentences, everything else is fine.

Pure Hype - I like RPG's but i wouldnt like this story to be one lol. RPG's tend to go really slowly. If i was role playing in someone else's RPG then it wouldnt bother me. But this is kind of an action based fic. If it was to become an RPG then from my past experience on other sites. The whole RPG would turn into a never ending conversation lol.

Plus the character bio's although some would be pretty good. Others would come along and for example create a character say that they have magical powers and that they are the only ones who have the skill to fight of the ZanZar. Plus they will put the characters entire frickkin emotional history with their family, friends, boyfriends, husbands.... You get the picture lol.

If this was an RPG then even though someone with a character like that probably wouldnt come along. I dont like characters like that lol. Id rather the characters reveal details about their life through the RPG instead of revealing everything straight away in the bio. It doesnt make an interesting character... Well to me it doesnt.

Oh and the character having magical powers thing and being the only ones to be able to defeat the ZanZar. First of all i dont like that because to me its God Moding. Second this fic isnt about magic (although the Power Rangers have used magic in their storylines before) its about aliens and the humans that are chosen to take them on.

Now im going to shut up because i think i have made my point. Even if no one else has a clue what i have just written lol.

In the meeting room everyone had left to due the alarms going off except Morgan and Brody they were waiting for Nat to come and speak to them. When all of a sudden the room started shuddering. Then Gina appeared in a swirl of little lights. The Undergrounds main computer detecting danger on the sleeping quarter level. Automatically teleported everyone on the level to safety.

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON." shouted Gina. Nat then rushed into the room.

"The whole of level eight has been devastated. All elevators are offline because of the damage." said Nat.

"What happened... Why did the alarms go off." asked Morgan.

"Im not sure. The computer didnt detect any intruders. The alarm was set off by someone in the complex." answered Nat.

"What level was the alarms set off." asked Brody.

"Level two sir." said Nat.

"Find out who was on guard duty on that level Gina." ordered Brody.

"Yes sir." said Gina. She then charged up her laser gun and then headed out the door.

"You wanted to see me." said Nat as soon as Gina had left.

"Yes the leaders have decided upon a course of action to combat the ZanZar and we need your help." said Morgan.

"Of course what do you have in mind." asked Nat.

"We need your help in reactivating the Power Rangers." smiled Brody.




At the security station. Gina stormed in pushing past people as she did.

"LISTEN UP EVERYONE" shouted Gina.

"What do you think you are doing." said a security operative.

"Who was on duty. On level two whilst the alarms went off." said Gina lowering her tone.

"I was." said a woman. Walking towards Gina.

"Good then come with me." said Gina.

"What for." asked the woman.

"Because Commanders Morgan and Brody want to see you now." said Gina.

"I wasn't the only one on duty." said the woman.

"Who else." said Gina.

"Hang on let me think." said the woman.

"Come on i havent got all day." said Gina sharply.

"Hedge, Lara, Kris, Dan and Trey." answered the woman.

"Call them back to the security station." ordered Gina.

"Why what's going on." asked the woman.

"Just do it." said Gina. The woman shot Gina a dirty look then walked over to the station's intercom.

"Hedge, Lara, Kris, Dan and Trey. Will you all please report to the security station immediately." said the woman.





Back at the meeting room. Nat looked astonished not letting the revelation about the Power Rangers sink in.

"Well what do you think." asked Morgan.

"Wow... The Power Rangers are the stuff of legends. I used to learn about them at school and now you want me to help recreate them." said Nat.

"That's about it." said Brody laughing.

"Sure ill do it. If it helps me get Lillian back then ill do it." smiled Nat.

"Good then lets get cracking. We need to combat the ZanZar as soon as possible." said Morgan.

"Listen Nat we dont want you agreeing to do this if you cant manage it. Its going to be alot of work." said Brody.

"I know and ill enjoy every second of creating our only chance to finally defeat the ZanZar." smiled Nat.

"That's the spirit." smiled Morgan.

"Who do you have in mind to take on the Rangers powers." asked Nat.

"We are still thinking about that. We need to get everything ready before we decide." said Brody.






Somewhere on the surface. ZanZar foot soldiers were securing an old castle. A shuttle then started circling the castle. All the foot soldiers stopped what they were doing and stared as the shuttle landed. A few seconds later the doors to the shuttle opened and out stepped a beautiful alien woman. With purple hair, three black spots on her right cheek and a tight fitting leather outfit. A foot soldier then approached her.

"Greetings Princess Vada." said the soldier bowing.

"Have their been any developments. Since our contact told us of the Rebels plans." said Vada forcefully.

"No your highness. May i inquire as to why you ordered us to secure this castle." asked the soldier.

"Advantage soldier advantage." answered Vada. Princess Vada was a being from the ZanZar empire she came from the ZanZar homeworld. Her father was Emperor Festos the evil tyrant who ruled all the planets he controlled with an iron fist. Described by many as pure evil. When earth was added to the ZanZar's collection of planets. Reports came in stating that the invasion fleet had met opposition from a group of rebels. Festos sent his daughter Vada to deal with the rebels then earth would finally be in the ZanZar's control. Vada was happy about this. It was about time her father gave her some responsibility. What was the point of being the spawn of evil if she couldnt get the chance to be truly evil herself. Earth's very foundations would shudder when Vada finally conquered the planet and its protectors the rebels and their secret weapons the Power Rangers.

"May i ask how the castle will be an advantage." asked the soldier.

"What was that soldier." said Vada threateningly.

"May i ask how the castle will be an advantage.... Your highness." said the soldier.

"Its on the earth's surface. The rebels are situated somewhere beneath the earth's surface. We will have a better chance of destroying them if we arent wasting time teleporting or boarding shuttles to get down to the planet. Anyway shut your mouth. I dont have to explain anything to you." said Vada. She then pulled the soldier's laser gun from his belt and fired at him. She then turned round to see all the other foot soldiers staring at her.

"Get back to work." ordered Vada.




Back in the Underground about six hours later. Nat was typing frantically on a console. When the doors to the technology lab opened and all the Rebel leaders walked in.

"Is everything complete." asked Brody.

"Yeah just one second...... Ok done." smiled Nat.

"Would you care to demonstrate." smiled Brody.

"Come again." said Nat.

"We have chosen you to be a Ranger." laughed Morgan.

"Really but i dont have the first clue on being a Ranger." said Nat.

"You will learn with time." smiled Brody.

"But we dont have time." said Desmond who had arrived with the leaders.

"He will have someone more than capable of teaching him on the team as well." said Morgan.


"Who." asked Desmond.

"Our best security operative... Gina." said Morgan pointing to Gina who had accompanied the leaders as protection.

"Step forwards and demonstrate please." said Brody. Nat and Gina both looking shocked reluctantly walked forwards.

"Strap this to your wrist. Its called a morpher." whispered Nat. Gina looked at him for a second then strapped it on. Nat then did the same.

"Well..... We are waiting." said Desmond impatiently.

"Repeat these words with me. Power Rangers Apocalypse Force Online." said Nat to Gina.

"Ok." nodded Gina.

"POWER RANGERS APOCALYPSE FORCE ONLINE." they both shouted. All of a sudden the room was filled with a flash of light as Nat was wrapped in a blue light and Gina was wrapped in a yellow light. A few seconds later they were both wearing Ranger suits.

"Oh my gosh." said Morgan.

"Wh... What... What about the.... Other three morphers." stuttered Desmond.

"We will find owners for them in due time." said Brody.

"I cant believe it." said Nat.

"Neither can i." said Gina a little out of her usual character.

"Well believe it guys. Your now the Power Rangers." said Morgan.
