Earth is now at peace and the energy crisis is over. Students of Crimson City High School are at The Museum of Geolical Studies. At the same time a being named Lord Voltair awakens to drain earth of its energy to completly revive himself so he sends down his second in comand Ampite and a squad of zapits to the city with the most power plants which is Crimson City. A group of five teen decide to wonder away from the tour and discover a crystal called the Ion Matrix Crystal which is being examined by Professor Carson suddenly the Ion Matrix Crystal activates and the five pointed crystal with a sphere on each end. The spheres break from the case and attach themselves to one of the five teen's wrist. Professor Carson stand up and says "I knew this day would come you five have been chosen to defend the Earth." Each sphere then becomes a morhper.
