Some of you may know I have a minor interest in astrology. At first, it was the Chinese Zodiac. By taking a cue from Magiranger, and incorporating the mystical into a colorful Ranger team, I came up with BizzaroBoard's "Zodiac Rangers."
Recently, I've moved on to good ol' fashioned, everyday Greek Astrology. More specifically, I have an interest in the personality traits and compatible colors of each sign.
As it so happens, I myself was born on a cusp. February 19 - 24 is a phase between the signs Aquarius and Pisces. Compatible colors are blue, green, purple, white, black, brown... Any color which could be identified with the sea.
As yet another twist on the "Astrology Ranger" angle, I decided to start making up in my head a new team of mystical rangers based on the Greek Zodiac. I started with ME! Since brown and purple are pretty much out, green and blue are typically subservient, and black reminds me too much of Tommy, I decided to go and make myself a "Sixth Ranger" getup. Note that this is NOT a costume that I made. It was a very tedious Photoshop of MagiShine. The reason I'm putting it in here is because it is fanart, and hence doesn't quite fit into General. And, again, it is not a real costume, so it doesn't really fit into merchandise either.
So, without further adieu, I give you... MagiQuarius!
