I'm just gauging a few of my literary ideas with the awesome PR Fans here to see which book would probably do the best. This is called Dream Storm.

Dream Storm

A boy with a gift . . .

A world with a curse . . .

A cry for a hero . . .

A crippling truth . . .

Ronnie Williams is your typical teenager . . . full of angst, anger, and confusion. The product of a broken home, Ronnie has turned his emotions inward in an attempt to sort through the storm of his feelings. Doing so, he has seemingly triggered unworldly powers locked in the subconscious of his adolescent mind. As reality bends to his dreams, his world is ravaged by terrifying events and the emergence of gargantuan beasts unlike the universe has ever seen. Fueled by the discovery of his amazing powers, Ronnie feels the duty to assist in the struggle against what seems to be the end of all things. Along the way, he meets several like-minded teenagers who share the strange gifts, known as the Rainbowchasers. As they battle the horde of deadly creatures, a secret becomes unraveled. The extent of Ronnie’s gifts is not merely his own mind and body . . . his nightmares are tearing apart our very plane of existence. The monsters are self manifested visions of the beasts that haunts his dreams and stalks through his mind.

The Rainbowchasers are as follows

Ronnie Williams
Tabatha Voth
Joseph Sanderson
Dennis Howard
Jessica Owens

At the beginning of the story, there are but five Rainbowchasers. However, as we progress, a sixth teenager is introduced, who holds a dark secret by the name of Austin Scott.

Prologue

The Island of Telforis, the Pyramids of Orion.

Telforis is a lost continent, believed to be the ancient land of what would be known as Atlantis. Colonized by the dying Martian explorers, known as the Apacali, the Pyramids and surrounding structures were built to resemble the elder temples, left to be destroyed by the ravaging winds of the red planet, known as the Crimson Heaven. The Martian population has been decimated to one by the mysterious plagues of the humankind. This surviving Apacali, Shelohn Priest, Sih Edacun, is being worshiped in a ceremony which will sacrifice a virgin female to the elder gods of the Crimson Heaven. In a last moment of decisiveness, The Shelohn spares the life of the sacrificial virgin and decrees her wife to the Pharaoh of Telforis and blesses her womb with the remaining extent of his Shelohn gifts. In the transfer of power, Sih Edacun gives his life and a new day has begun. The Pharaoh’s lineage eventually spreads over the entire world, the Shelohn gifts locked deep away in the subconscious of the bloodline, the result of ages of battles and wars that proved their abilities too powerful for man.

Ronnie’s dreams are filled with images of the Martian Nohwinas, massive and frightening beasts that walked the Crimson Heaven before the time of Earth’s creation. The Nohwinas are the equivalent of our own Dinosaurs.

This may be a novel that I will write and pitch to a publishing company. I'm thinking of taking the elements of my fanfic and using it in either this story or the Prince storyline I was thinking about. What do you guys think?

I really had this idea after watching Donnie Darko. I would love to see Jake Gylenhall as a badass, brooding superhero who is torn between using his powers selfishly or for the greater good of all mankind. Jake has this ... look to him. I'd love to see him in Spiderman as a villian. Thats why I cast him as Tommy in my Fire and Ice novel. I would love to see him play that roll.
