I'm not one to get my hands into too many things a one time, but the Prince is almost a biographical story, done in a science fiction universe. I will probably mix it with my other sci-fi idea, Altars Of Chaos and use this as a real book that I will try to get published. Here is my premise for the Prince so far.
On the planet of Utaui, there is a man called Braeden. This is his story.
At a young age, Braeden’s mother, Elin left her abusive husband, Rami. Rami would become one of the planet’s most infamous criminals and spent most of Braeden’s childhood in and out of prison. King Mayon, one of the rulers of the Utaui, grew fond of Elin and took her to be his new bride. Braeden was overjoyed at the event, but a darkness lurked just out of sight . . . Mayon’s only son, Cain. Cain was already twelve at the time and Braeden just a child. Braeden grew up ridiculed because he was the prince that had no birthright. Few friends passed in and out of his life, but none would be so strong in his younger years as Liam. For whatever reason, Liam stood up for Braeden in the face of bullies, sometimes even getting himself into trouble. Not too long after that, Braeden befriended a local blacksmith’s daughter, Achlys. Achlys introduced Braeden to stories of warriors that left their homeworld in search of adventure and fortune.
During this time, Braeden became confused and headstrong. He butted heads with his father, King Mayon, and would at times even destroy his land and his possessions. But being deeply in love with Elin, Mayon would never strike his youngest son. But in the mind of his eldest, the one they called Cain, anger and hatred festered like a disease. Braeden began to train in sword fighting, hoping that one day he would fulfill his dreams and leave his homeworld behind for exciting adventures across the stars. However, King Mayon merely laughed at his attempts. Braeden was a slow learner, but he was passionate to learn every fighting style he could. He was also impatient and would jump back and forth from one exercise to another, sometime’s never learning key elements of the styles.
Braeden grew tired of hearing the same stories of the same warriors and decided he would begin his own brotherhood of fighters. A young man in exile came to Utaui, the Knight Cason. Cason befriended Braeden and swore to teach him to fight. During this time, a group of warriors that Braeden had grew up with convinced Cason to leave with them to fight the horde of Immortal Vast MAW troops from the invading world of Carinasia. Once again, Braeden was left on his own. But it would not be for long . . .
Shadi, the Archer, grew up with Braeden and attended many of the same academies. Shadi knew that Braeden’s passion alone would make him a noble warrior and introduced the prince to the older Jaiden. Jaiden was from the west world and was a recovering death dealer. Jaiden and Braeden’s friendship grew strong and the three became a mighty group. For the first time, Braeden took up his sword, defended against and defeated an entire army of MAW troops, gunning for the Citadel of Vega, the royal palace. But as fate would have it, Braeden’s new brotherhood would fall.
Shadi’s heart lie with his poems and it was true that he just was not a fighter. Jaiden and Braeden were left alone and they began to work together, until one day, Braeden laid his eyes on the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen.
