Chapter 3 – The Message of Wonder
Alex is so devastated about what he sees in front of him. Inside the hole is some sort of vortex and keeps sucking in things from all around him. He walks towards it without getting sucked inside, and he jumps inside hole and starts to feel his body being shocked by electricity. He falls on the ground and sees a strange tunnel in front him. He gets up and tries to see where he is. He looks up and sees that the hole is gone from where he fell and looks up and down the tunnel.
He starts to walk down the tunnel and starts to here strange noises, screeching and banging everything. He runs forward to see where the noise is coming from. He notices a really old man standing at the end of the tunnel playing some sort of strange instrument. He asks who this man is and he won’t answer him. Alex runs forward and takes out his sword to try and get his attention but is thrown backwards by some sort of force field and gets knocked to his ass.
The old man stands up and says, “What happens once in the word bee? What happens once in the word latte? Twice in the word boo? Once in the word orange? Once in the word dog? Once in the number six? Once in the word letter? Once in apple? Twice in the word week, and once in word?
Alex has no clue what the man means and suddenly finds himself in his room. He thinks he may have just had a dream but notices scorch marks all over his clothing. He ponders and what the old man said and starts to get to work and what it may mean.
