hi. This is a story I've worked on for a while now. this is all I've written. I'm no good with script ideas and I haven't done episodes. this is a "summary", or a general story. Tell me what you think.

Power Rangers CX (CybernetiX)

The company Cybertech was created in Los Angeles in 1953 with the purpose of research in the field of cybernetics. One of the goals of the company was to create cybernetic suits, which would increase human abilities such as strength, speed, and reflexes. After making some progress, Cybertech was offered funding from the government in 1968 to increase the amount of time they spent on their cyber technology research. In 1978 they developed the first Cyber morphers, which enabled the users to power up into Cyber Rangers who donned Cyber suits. When Dr William Richards, an ex Cybertech scientist who wanted to use the Cyber technology to take over the planet, attacked the city, Cybertech was forced to find five people to use the Cyber powers against him. They were Kyle Andrews as red ranger, Tom Wielder as blue ranger, Ricky Tang as green ranger, Tina Rider as yellow ranger, and Samantha Turner as pink ranger. The original five Cyber rangers defeated Dr Richards and he retreated, but he vowed to one day return and destroy his enemies. 25 years later Cybertech has developed new Cyber morphers, which use nano technology to form new Cyber-Nano suits. The original rangers were now leading peaceful lives but still held on to their morphers, which were no longer of any use, even though they were still operational.

One evening, a middle-aged man was walking casually to his car. The man was the original green Cyber Ranger, Ricky Tang. As he stepped into his car, he heard a noise and looked around to see what caused the noise. As he saw no one, he got into the car and got ready to start the engine. As he turned the key, the car exploded. The green Ranger had been killed. But by who? Three weeks later in LA suburbia, a young man and his parents were walking back from their car after a shopping trip into town. The parents of the young man were Kyle and Samantha Andrews, the original red and pink rangers, who had got married after they retired as rangers. All of a sudden a cybernetic monster appeared out of nowhere. Kyle and Samantha, who still had their morphers, turned into rangers to stop this monster from destroying the area. But the monster was after them, not the city. Sean watched helplessly as his parents were being brutally attacked. Kyle and Samantha were thrown over their car by the monster. Sean tried to fight the monster himself but he didn’t stand a chance. As the monster was about to blast Sean, Samantha pushed him out of the way. Kyle and Sean had to watch the former pink ranger’s death, and were helpless to stop it. Two of the original rangers had been killed, so the remaining rangers assembled at Cybertech to get some answers. When they got there, the CEO of Cybertech, Jim Daniels, greeted them and took them to the control center: aka Cyber Ops. What the rangers saw they could not believe. Gangs of cybernetic monsters called cybercons were attacking the city, led by a mechanical monster who called himself Rickon. These cybercons were the creation of Dr Richards, who had seemingly transformed himself into a cyborg; Rickon. As a result of this attack, new rangers had to be chosen. They were Sean Andrews, the son of Kyle and Samantha Andrews, as the new red ranger, Josh Wielder, The son of Tom Wielder, as the new blue ranger, Tyler Harrison, The Son of Dr Harrison as the new green ranger, Myra Johnson, a student of Tina Rider, as the new yellow ranger, and Reena Davis, protégé of Tina Rider, as the new pink ranger. This new team fought bravely against Rickon’s forces and defeated the cybercons.

The battle against Rickon’s forces was going fairly well until the red ranger, Sean, was kidnapped in an ambush. Rickon had kidnapped him to use him to test his new nano power technology, and his new Raven morpher. It was then that Sean found out the true identity that Rickon had been hiding. It wasn’t Dr Richards. It was Ricky Tang, the former green ranger. When his car exploded, Ricky was not killed. Dr Richards had planned on turning him into his slave, as he saw the green ranger’s darker side. But once the former green ranger was reborn as Rickon, he became insane. He killed Dr Richards, and took over his base. As Rickon, he became obsessed with revenge from the rangers and the city, for turning him into what he was; a monster. Sean could not believe his eyes. One of the people he had most respected was the crazy maniac they had been fighting all along. And now this monster was going to test his own version of the Cyber-Nano suit on him. Sean knew he had to escape. So when Sean was given the nano powers and morpher, he used the power to escape from the base. But his Nano powers were not unlimited. Rickon needed to give Sean the Nano powers, because a normal human would not survive the morph, but he did not was to create a ranger who was too powerful, so he made the Nano bots in Sean’s body limited in power. The suit however provided the solution. This way, Rickon could test the effectiveness of his suit, with the knowledge that once Sean powered down, he would die. When morphed, the suit shut down the Nano bots and recharged them, so Sean could use his powers indefinitely, but when he was unmorphed, the nano bots in his system powered up, and he could only stay in human form for 60 minutes. Fortunately Cybertech designed a watch that would shut down the nano bots, enabling the former red ranger to stay in human form indefinitely. If necessary, he would be able to activate his nano powers in civilian form using the watch, but to recharge the nano bots he had to morph. He therefore reclaimed his position as leader of the team but as the Cyber Raven Ranger. Unfortunately this meant that someone needed to replace him as Red Ranger. In came Michael Turner, Sean’s cousin. He had come to visit Sean and his father, but his visit was interrupted by an attack led by one of Rickon’s cybernetic monsters. Sean was forced to take on this monster alone, as another monster had appeared on the other side of town, to keep the other rangers from helping him. Michael observed the fight and was desperate to help, as Sean was unable to take this monster down. This is when Kyle, Sean’s father, handed Michael the red Cyber morpher. Kyle knew that Michael was the right man to become the new red ranger, and had arranged to keep hold of Sean’s cyber morpher until the time was right to pass it on. Michael morphed into the new Red ranger and fought alongside his cousin. Together they defeated the monster and joined the other rangers to help them defeat the second one. Cybertech and the other rangers accepted Michael as the newest team member and the team was once again complete. But what the rangers did not know was that Sean’s new morpher was not the only one. It was the prototype, but Rickon had started building a second morpher, so he could give it to his own ranger, Storm Breaker.

Storm breaker’s real name was Nick Thomson, and old colleague and friend of Sean. They had been at the Police Academy together, and were partners for one year. But Nick was discovered to be behind several arm deals, and was known to have anger control issues, having once beaten up a suspect who had insulted him. He had been tried and convicted, when Rickon’s Cybercons sprang him out, and gave him the break morpher. Nick’ nano powers were identical to Sean’s, but they were not unstable. This means that nick was able to power his nano powers up indefinitely, giving him a decisive advantage in battle. The Storm breaker suit was also more powerful, since it’s power was not drained by his nano systems.

After a few battles, the rangers noticed that Rickon’s monsters were getting increasingly difficult to destroy, especially with Storm Breaker helping them. Cybertech realised that soon the rangers would not be powerful enough to stop Rickon’s army unless something was done. Meanwhile, the scientists that had created Sean’s communicator had been working on a way for Sean to gain more power from his nano bots. Eventually, they managed to design a mega battle armor, which was activated by enabling the Nano bots to power Sean up even when morphed, creating a sort of “overdrive” system. But Sean would have the same limitations with this new power as he had when using his powers in human form. He would only be able to use the armor for 60 minutes before his nano powers became drained. Knowing this, Sean had to make sure he only used this power boost in emergencies. Soon after being told this, the Cyber Raven ranger was forced to use his armor when the other rangers’ powers were neutralised by Rickon’s new monster, Disruptor. This new monster had the ability to shut down the Techno Rangers’ morphers, which he did. However he was unable to shut down Sean’s, as his powers were an integral part of him. He therefore had to destroy Sean in order to prevent him from morphing. Sean’s problem was that Disruptorbot had every intention of doing so. Therefore the Cyber Raven Ranger had no choice but to use the mega battle armor to defeat the monster. Disruptorbot was no match for this powered-up ranger and he was defeated. But now that Rickon knew about this armor, he would create new, more powerful monsters, and he would force Sean to use his armor more and more, especially if it killed him.

As time passed on, Cybertech realised that unless Rickon was stopped soon, he would finally be able to defeat the rangers. During each of the blast few battles, Cybertech had noticed that the monsters could no longer be stopped by the rangers’ standard weapons. They were only destroyed because Sean used his battle armor. Soon even that would not stop them. They also had to find a way to stop Storm breaker, who had also become more powerful over time, thanks to Rickon’s technology. The only way to win was for the monsters to be taken out at the source. So that Rickon and Strom Breaker would only have themselves, but no army. It therefore was decided that someone should try to infiltrate Rickon’s base to destroy his factory, and maybe even defeat Rickon. However Cybertech did not think anyone would be crazy enough to try to go into the most well defended and most dangerous base on the western seaboard. Because he had already been inside the base, Sean volunteered for the potentially suicidal mission, against the wishes of all the rangers, past and present. But despite their objections, Cybertech and the government agreed to let Sean attempt to infiltrate and destroy the base. Meanwhile, Storm breaker had been sent into the city with a new monster which meant that the other Cyber Rangers would be unable to come to the Cyber Raven’s aid, should he need them. Sean succeeded in getting past the perimeter defence of the base and successfully entered the production facility undetected. Or so he thought. Rickon had in fact programmed his defence system to track Sean’s nano bots if he ever tried to return to the base. The former green ranger had installed this system as soon as the Cyber Raven Ranger had escaped. Rickon planned to let the Cyber Raven Ranger get deep within the base so that he could ambush him and stop him from escaping again.. Sean was suddenly surrounded by a large number of cybercons, which had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Then Rickon appeared out of the command room. He was trapped. Sean realised that Rickon had fully expected him to try and enter the area alone, and that he had prepared a special welcome. Sean realised that in order to escape Rickon’s trap he had to fight these foot soldiers. He morphed, but as he did so, Rickon jumped down to the factory floor to personally take care of this annoying little bug that he had created. The Cyber Raven Ranger was no match for Rickon, and was getting beaten very badly. As this was an emergency, Sean used his mega battle mode, but it was not enough. Rickon hit him with a severe blast, which returned the Cyber Raven Ranger to human form. Sean had to escape. He used his watch to power up so he could fight his way through the cybercons and escape, but Rickon had no intention of letting him go. Time was growing short, and Sean’s nano bots were losing power. As the Evil mastermind was about to deliver the finishing blow, the three remaining original rangers appeared along with the current team to help their weakened friend. Against orders and unbeknownst to Sean, The old Cyber rangers had decided to follow Sean, just in case, while the new rangers stayed, to defend the city against Storm Breaker and his assault team. The rangers managed to fight off the Cybercons and take Sean out of the base, and back to Cybertech. But Rickon was far from pleased with what had happened. He decided that he had had enough with the power rangers, and it was time to end this conflict once and for all. He rallied all his remaining cybercons and join Storm Breaker in the city. This was the single biggest assault ever launched. He wanted the rangers dead. When they saw the army, the old rangers realised this was going to be the toughest battle yet, and decided to help the new Rangers take their enemy down for good. As they headed out, Sean appeared to help them. They didn’t want him to fight, as he was pretty beaten up from his battle against Rickon, but they knew he had to do this. It was a matter of honour. They all headed out together to greet Rickon’s army, ranger style. When they arrived, the new team was demorphed, having received a strong blast from Rickon and Storm Breaker. This had knocked them of their ranger forms, but they were alright. And now they had back-up. As both generations of power rangers morphed together, there was a deep sense of pride in the air. This was their city, and no one was going to take it away from them. They all fought bravely, but the cybercons were too many, the army to vast. They needed an edge to finish them off.

When the rangers were forced to retreat back to Cybertech headquarters, they were angry and confused. They did not want to retreat. Unfortunately they had no choice. The scientists at Cybertech had been trying to find out how the cyber cons were being created, and more importantly, how to stop them. They found that the cybercons were being controlled through a sort of command consol which was voice activated. Rickon and his monsters had access to this console, which is how they commanded the foot soldiers. The old rangers were sent to the base to destroy the console while the new team kept Rickon and his army busy. Rickon and Storm Breaker had to be kept from getting back to the base, and the while the rest of the team took care of Rickon, Cyber Raven would handle Strom Breaker, and end their rivalry, once and for all. This was the final battle. All the other Rangers had to do was keep Rickon busy long enough for the original Cyber rangers to destroy the console.

Once the command console was destroyed, Rickon was all alone. The original Rangers had destroyed the Cybercon console, and Cyber Raven had defeated Storm Breaker, using his nano powers to enhance his sword so he could beat Storm Breaker. The old rangers arrived at the scene after destroying the base, which made Rickon furious. For all his power he had not even guessed their plan. This drove him insane, and he attacked all nine power rangers. The rangers combined forces against Rickon and defeated him by destroying his cybernetic powers. Unfortunately, Rickon had so little humanity left that he died when his power was lost.

With Rickon gone, the rangers started to help restore the city back to normal and then retired from their activities. The cyber morphers were left with their owners so that they could use them in time of need. Cybertech continued its research into new technology using in part the remains of Rickon’s inventions, which were taken from the remains of his base. The rangers went back to their normal lives, but still keep an eye out, should they once again be needed to fight evil.
