Hi, all. This is my first time posting a fic at Rangerboard, so here it goes. This is basically my idea of what Masked Rider Blade would be like if it was adapted for America in the same was Sentai is adapted to make Power Rangers. I'll start with character bio's for the some of the main characters, then all follow up with the first episode in the next post. So let me know what you think of it.
Also, should do you think I should post follow up episodes in this thread, or should I make a new thread for each?
Masked Rider Blade Character Sheet
Alex Conners
Age: 18
Race: Caucasian
Occupation: Student/ Masker Rider Blade
Height: 6’1 Weight: 212 lbs.
Hair color: Dark Brown
Family: Thomas and Erica Conners – Parents (Deceased)
Matthew Conners – Brother (location unknown)
Corey Redfield – Uncle
Bio: Alex’s parents died in an accident when he was a small child. He and his brother, Matt, were taken in by their uncle, Corey Redfield. His brother’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Alex has been friends with Ally Swanson for 10 years. He becomes Masked Rider Blade in order to save her.
Jonathan Winters
Age: 24
Race: Caucasian
Occupation: Unemployed/ Masked Rider Garren
Height: 6’2 Weight: 220 lbs.
Hair Color: Black
Family: Donald and Martha Winters – Parents (Deceased)
Sara Evans – Girlfriend
Bio: Jonathan was the first Masked Rider created by Dr. Swanson. After his parents death Jonathan inherited a bunch of money, but he continued his work as Dr. Swanson’s assistant. Until he found out the truth that is. Now Jonathan fights to stop Dr. Swanson from completing his experiment, as well as to find a way to stop the Rider System from killing him. He lives with his girlfriend, Sara Evans.

Age: Appears 18
Race: Appears African-American
Occupation: Student/Amateur Photographer/ Masked Rider Chalice
Height: 6’3 Weight: 218 lbs.
Hair Color: Black
Family: Unknown
Bio: Not much is known about Gabriel. He first encountered Alex and Ally the same day as the mysterious Masked Rider showed up. He’s not looking to make friends, but that doesn’t stop Ally from trying. His true motives for fighting the Undead, as well as how he came to be a Masked Rider, are unknown at this time. One thing is for sure: Don’t get in his way.
Ally Swanson
Age: 17 Race: Caucasian
Occupation: Student
Height: 5’5’’ Weight: Unknown (She’s not telling)
Hair Color: light brown, almost blonde
Family: Father: Dr. Phillip Swanson
Mother: Victoria Swanson (deceased)
Bio: Ally is a very social person. She tries to be friends with everyone. Her best friend is Alex, and she supports him in his fight against the Undead. She discovers the program for tracking the Undead, and uses it to help Alex find them. She also pushes for the Rider’s to work together. For her, saving people is the most important thing of all.

MASKED RIDER BLADE: EPISODE 1 – GAME START!

“MASKED RIDER BLADE: EPISODE 1 – GAME START!”
FADE IN:
EXT. DOWNTOWN FREEPORT CITY - NIGHT
The city is wrapped in darkness, save for a few street lights. The streets are empty; all the people who work in the nearby office buildings are at home, asleep. A door opens in one of the buildings, and out walks a JANITOR pushing a cart full of trash bags. The Janitor is listening to a walkman, so he is oblivious to the bat-like creature that drops out of the sky behind him. The creature approaches the Janitor while he’s busy throwing the trash bags into a dumpster. As it raises its hand to strike the rev of a motorcycle engine is heard. The creature stops and looks to the side, and suddenly a red motorcycle crashes into it, knocking the creature down. The motorcycle comes to a stop, and the RIDER climbs off. He’s clad in a red suit, silver armor with a diamond on his chest, and a belt with a green front panel with a gold diamond in it. The creature jumps up and rushes at him, but the Rider draws a pistol and shoots the creature several times, stopping it in its tracks. The Rider folds a card holder out of his pistol, draws two of the cards out of it, and folds it back up. Then, he swipes the two cards through a slot on his pistol.
COMPUTERIZED VOICE
Drop. Fire
He throws the cards in front of him, and they enlarge and glow. The image of the cards absorbs into the Rider’s chest, and he’s filled with power. He takes a running start towards the creature, and then leaps into the air. His feet glow as if on fire, and he spins around so his feet are aimed at the creature. He lands the kick to the creature chest, and it fly backwards in an explosion. The creature manages to stay on its feet, but the buckle on its belt pops open.
RIDER
So, Category 8, huh. This should come in handy.
The Rider folds out the card holder in his pistol again, and this time draws a blank card with a diamond on it. He throws it at the creature, and it sticks in its chest. The card absorbs the creature, and then flies back into the Rider’s hand. What was once a blank card now has the image of the creature, as well as the number 8 and the word Scope on it. The Rider places it in his card holder.
RIDER
Hmm… This is the third one this week. Looks like I’m gonna have to have a talk with the Doc.
The Rider turns and climbs on his motorcycle. He speeds off into the distance. The Janitor, who failed to notice the entire incident, turns finally and looks around. Seeing nothing, he proceeds to push the now empty cart back over to the door of the building.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
EXT. NORTH FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL MAIN ENTRANCE– AFTERNOON
The sun is shining, and there sky is blue. A bell rings, signaling the end of classes for the day. Students begin pouring out of the school, heading to the waiting cars and busses in the parking lot. The door opens and out steps ALEX CONNERS and ALLY SWANSON. They walk towards the student parking lot.
ALEX
Another week bites the dust. Now let’s get the hell out of here.
ALLY
God, senior year sucks. Just another 4 months of this crap and we’re done forever.
ALEX
So, wanna go to my house and work on that math homework? Ever since my brother moved out it’s actually been pleasant hanging around my place.
ALLY
No, I promised my dad I’d come straight home. He’s been super paranoid lately about something. Seems to think I’m in danger or something. Whatever though, we can do our work at my house if you want.
ALEX
Seeing as you’re the one driving, I don’t think I have much choice in the matter.
ALLY
Maybe if you’d get your own damn car…
They both star laughing. They come up to a red Honda Civic. Ally takes some keys from her purse, and opens the driver’s side door. She gets in, lets Alex in, and they drive off.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
INT. SWANSON HOME FOYER – AFTERNOON
The front door of the house opens and in walks Alex and Ally. Ally sets her purse on a table beside the door. The sounds of an argument can be heard from upstairs. Ally and Alex look at each other, then up the stairs. Suddenly a door upstairs opens, and they can hear what’s being said. Two men are arguing. One is DR. SWANSON; the other is unknown at this time.
UNKNONW MAN
This is the last straw! I can’t believe I put up with your shit for this long. I’m outta here.
DR. SWANSON
Jonathan, wait. Just hear me out.
Both men become visible at the top of the stairs. Dr. Swanson grabs JONATHAN’S arm.
DR. SWANSON
Please Jonathan, don’t run out on me now. I need your help still.
JONATHAN
Save it, Doc. I’m tired of being a pawn in this game of yours. Find yourself a new patsy, I’m done.
Jonathan pulls his arm free and he marches down the stairs. Dr. Swanson stands at the top of the stairs watching. Jonathan reaches the bottom of the stairs and heads for the door. He pushes past Alex on his way out.
JONATHAN
‘Scuse me.
Jonathan opens the door and leaves. After a few moments the sound of a motorcycle pulling away can be heard.
DR. SWANSON
I’m sorry you kids had to see that.
Dr. Swanson is now walking down the stairs towards Alex and Ally.
ALLY
We’re not kids anymore, Daddy.
DR. SWANSON
Hmm…
Dr. Swanson ignores Ally. Instead he turns his attention towards Alex.
DR. SWANSON
So, how you’ve been, Alex? How’s school going?
ALEX
Oh, its fine, Dr. Swanson. We’re ready to get out of there for good.
DR. SWANSON
Can’t say I blame you. High school has always been an exercise in boredom.
ALEX
Who was that guy just now? He had an awesome motorcycle parked outside.
Ally rolls here eyes upon hearing this.
DR. SWANSON
You saw that, did you? That’s a special motorcycle that I made for him. If you’re interested in it you should come up to my office and we can…
ALLY
Daddy! We have homework.
DR. SWANSON
Oh, right. Well, if you’ll excuse me, I have some work to attend to.
Dr. Swanson turns and heads back up the stairs. A door is heard shutting. Ally turns and looks at Alex.
ALLY
Of course you’d get excited about motorcycles, but he doesn’t need to encourage you.
She smiles, and they both start laughing. They then head up the stairs.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
INT. DR. SWANSONS OFFICE – DUSK
Dr. Swanson sits at his desk. He holds a framed picture in his hand. In the picture is him when he was younger along with his wife.
DR. SWANSON
(INNER)
Don’t worry, my dear. This is only a temporary set back. I’ve already found another Rider. Soon, I’ll be able to bring you back. Soon…
He sets the picture down on his desk. Next he opens a drawer in his desk and looks in. In side is a large belt buckle, along with a few cards. The top card is visible; it’s a spade ace with the word Change on it.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
INT. ALLY’S BEDROOM – EVENING
Ally sits on the bed while Alex sits in at a desk next to it. There are papers all over the bed, and both are holding textbooks. Alex writes something on a piece of paper, and then closes the book. He leans back and stretches.
ALEX
(YAWNING)
Heh… God I hate math. Thank god it’s finished.
ALLY
I don’t see what the big deal is. I’ve always liked math.
ALEX
That’s cause you actually no what the hell your doing. I’d be lost without your help.
Ally closes her book and gathers up the papers on the bed. She stands up and sets them on the desk. Alex takes his book and papers and places them in a backpack. Then he looks up at Ally.
ALLY
So, now what? You wanna go do something?
ALEX
I guess. Hey, who was that guy earlier?
ALLY
Oh, that was Jonathan Winters. He’s my dad’s assistant. Well, at least he was. Looks like they had a falling out or something. Too bad, really. He was pretty cute.
Alex stares at Ally, who has a distant expression on her face. Finally, she notices him staring, and she turns her head to glare at him.
ALLY
What?
ALEX
Oh, nothing.
ALLY
Hmph.
Ally, turns and walks to the door. She opens it, and turns to glare at Alex some more.
ALLY
So, you coming or not?
Alex jumps up and salutes.
ALEX
Yes ma’am! Right away ma’am!
ALLY
Don’t call me ma’am.
ALEX
Yes ma’am!
Alex walks over to her and smiles. Finally, she cracks a smile too. They both laugh as they head out the door and down the stairs. They come to the front door, and Alex holds it open for Ally.
ALEX
So what’d you want to go do?
Ally steps through the door, and Alex follow behind her. Alex turns back to make sure the door is shut, while Ally walks towards the car.
ALLY
I don’t know. We could just…
ALEX
Just what? Ally?
Alex turns around. He gets a quick glimpse of Ally looking frightened before he’s kicked hard in the chest by someone. The force of the impact is enough to knock the door off its hinges. Alex lands on his back in the foyer on top of the broken door. Stunned, he looks towards the doorway. He’s sees a Rider clad in red and silver armor. The rider tosses a piece of paper at Alex, who’s managed to sit up.
RIDER
Tell the Doc that if he wants his daughter returned safely he’ll bring the belt and the cards to that address by midnight. No later.
The Rider turns, grabs Ally, and runs off. Alex climbs to his feet and stumbles to the door in time to see them ride off on a red and silver motorcycle.
ALEX
ALLY!!!
Alex takes a step out of the door before falling to his knees. Just then, Dr. Swanson appears from the broken doorway, and kneels beside Alex
DR. SWANSON
Alex, are you alright? What happened?
ALEX
He took Ally.
DR. SWANSON
What? Who took Ally?
ALEX
The guy in red on the motorcycle.
Dr. Swanson is silent at this revelation. He puts Alex’s arm around his shoulder and helps him to stand. They walk back into the foyer.
ALEX
Wait. He left that piece of paper.
Alex points at the piece of paper on the floor. Dr. Swanson leans Alex against the wall then bends over and picks up the piece of paper.
DR. SWANSON
Hmm… it’s the address of my old laboratory. Did he say what he wanted?
ALEX
He wanted you to bring a belt and some cards to that place. He said if you did he’d let Ally go.
DR. SWANSON
I should have expected this.
ALEX
What? What the hell is going on here? Who was that guy, and why did he take Ally?
DR. SWANSON
Come upstairs with me and I’ll explain everything.
ALEX
Shouldn’t we call the police or something.
DR. SWANSON
No, the police wouldn’t be any help in this matter.
Dr. Swanson helps Alex up the stairs to his office. He sits Alex in a chair before going to sit behind his desk.
DR. SWANSON
The man you just encountered is a Masked Rider.
ALEX
Huh? A Masked Rider? What’s that mean?
DR. SWANSON
A Masked Rider is a warrior created to battle creatures called Undead. The one you just saw was Masked Rider Garren.
ALEX
What? Undead? Like zombies? Then why did he take Ally?
DR. SWANSON
Please, let me finish. The undead are ancient creatures. Their sole purpose is to battle one another until only one remains. As you can imagine, they have no concern for innocent bystanders. That’s why I created the Rider System. It allows a person to transform into a Masked Rider to battle the Undead and seal them into cards.
ALEX
Cards? Ok, now you’ve lost me.
Dr. Swanson opens the drawer in his desk and pulls out the belt buckle and cards he’d been looking at earlier. He picks up the ace of spades and shows it to Alex.
DR. SWANSON
This card contains an Undead. There are 52 Undead in all. They we’re originally sealed within these cards, but there was an accident recently, and most of the Undead we’re released.
ALEX
These cards and that belt buckle. These are what he wanted, right?
DR. SWANSON
Yes, I’m afraid so.
ALEX
But, why would this Garren guy do this? I thought you said the Masked Rider was supposed to fight the Undead.
DR. SWANSON
They are, but Garren has become corrupted. Garren was my assistant, Jonathan Winters.
ALEX
That’s the guy you we’re arguing with earlier, isn’t it. I thought I remembered that bike from somewhere.
DR. SWANSON
You see, the Rider System draws its power from the Undead sealed in cards. When a Rider defeats an Undead he can seal it in a blank card. The more cards a Rider has, the stronger they become. Garren’s become drunk with power. He wants all the cards for himself, and he’s not afraid to stop those who get in his way. That’s why he took my daughter.
Dr. Swanson stands up. He picks up the belt and the cards and put them in a briefcase.
ALEX
What are you going to do? Are you going to give those cards to that psycho?
DR. SWANSON
It seems I don’t have a choice in the matter.
ALEX
Dr. Swanson, what does that belt buckle do?
Dr. Swanson looks at Alex then pulls the belt buckle out of the case, along with the ace of spades card.
DR. SWANSON
This buckle, along with the ace of spades, allows a person to transform into a Masked Rider. They we’re going to be used to help people, but now…
Dr. Swanson is silent. He moves to put the buckle and the card back, but Alex reaches up and grabs his arm.
ALEX
Wait. I’ll do it. I’ll use the buckle and the cards, and I’ll save Ally.
DR. SWANSON
Are you sure? You’ll be putting yourself in grave danger. Garren won’t go down easily.
ALEX
I know, but I owe him one. I won’t give up till I save Ally.
DR. SWANSON
Very well then.
Alex stands up and Dr. Swanson hand the buckle and the ace of spades to Alex.
DR.SWANSON
Place the ace of spades in the buckle like this, then flip the face plate and cry out “Henshin” to transform. Once you’re transformed you can swipe the other cards through the slot on your weapon in order to utilize their power.
Dr. Swanson then reaches back into the briefcase and pulls out the four of spades, which has the word Tackle on it, as well as a bunch of blank cards.
DR. SWANSON
I’m afraid this is the only other spade card I have. The rest were all unsealed.
ALEX
It’ll be enough.
Alex turns to leave, but Dr. Swanson stops him.
DR. SWANSON
Alex, wait. There’s one more thing for me to give you. Come, it’s in the garage.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
INT. DR. SWANSON’S GARAGE – NIGHT
A door opens into the dark garage. In step Alex and Dr. Swanson who turns on a light. A machine is covered by a cloth in the middle of the room. Dr. Swanson walks over to it.
DR. SWANSON
This is the final thing you’ll need to become a Rider.
Dr. Swanson pulls back the cloth revealing a motorcycle underneath. The motorcycle is blue and silver with a blue spade windshield.
DR. SWANSON
This is the Blue Spader. It’s specially designed to combine with the Rider system, as well as provide an optimum means of transportation.
ALEX
Kick. Ass.
DR. SWANSON
Yes, well you’d better hurry.
Alex walks over to the bike and climbs on. Dr. Swanson goes to a table and pick up a motorcycle helmet. He walks back over to Alex and hands it to him.
DR. SWANSON
Here, take this. Please be careful.
ALEX
Don’t worry, Dr. Swanson. I’ll bring Ally back safe and sound.
Alex puts on the helmet and starts the motorcycle. Dr. Swanson walks over to a button on the wall by the door and presses it. The garage door begins to rise.
DR. SWANSON
Good luck, Alex.
Alex looks at Dr. Swanson and gives him a thumbs-up. Then he turns, revs the engine, and speeds off into the night. Dr. Swanson stands and watches him race away.
DR. SWANSON
(INNER)
Perfect. Every thing is working out better than I planed. Soon, my dear, soon.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
INT. AN ABANDONED LABORATORY – NIGHT
A door opens into the darkened lab. Ally is pushed though the door by Masked Rider Garren. She stumbles and falls to the floor. Garren turns on a light, then walks over to Ally and offers her his hand.
GARREN
Are you alright?
Ally slides away from his outstretched hand she backs up against a cabinet and pulls her knees up to her chin.
ALLY
Who are you, and what do you want?
Garren flips his belt buckle around and pulls out the ace of diamonds. A blue rectangle with the symbol of the ace of diamonds appears in from of Garren, and proceeds to move over his body, changing him back into Jonathan Winters.
ALLY
Jonathan? But why would you do this? I thought you and my father were friends. What’s going on here?
JONATHAN
I’m sorry, Ally. I didn’t want to involve you. But your father betrayed me.
ALLY
What happened? What did he do? I’m sure he didn’t mean it.
JONATHAN
He used me, Ally. He risked my life just for the sake of his experiment.
ALLY
What experiment?
JONATHAN
It doesn’t matter now. I brought you here in order to stop him. Don’t worry, though. I’m not going to hurt you. I let you go once he brings me the rest of the cards.
Jonathan walks over to a panel of security monitors and looks at them. Ally stands up and looks around.
ALLY
This is my father’s old lab, isn’t it?
JONATHAN
Yeah. This is where it all began, and this is where it’ll end.
ALLY
Can’t you just talk to my father?
JONATHAN
No, I tried that, and he wouldn’t listen. That’s what I was doing at your house this afternoon. You saw how that turned out.
A figure on a motorcycle appears on one of the monitors. Jonathan sees it and smiles.
JONATHAN
There we go, right on time.
The figure on the bike stops and gets off the bike. He pulls off his helmet and places it on the handlebars of the bike.
JONATHAN
What? It’s that boy you were with earlier.
ALLY
Alex?
She runs over to look into the security monitor.
ALLY
Why’s he here? I thought my father was going to come.
JONATHAN
That bastard! He knew it was a trap, so he sent the boy.
ALLY
What?! A trap? What do you mean?
JONATHAN
I picked this place, not because it’s your father’s old lab, but because it’s the home to an Undead.
ALLY
A what?
JONATHAN
An Undead; an ancient creature bent on destruction. It was supposed to distract him so I could get the cards away from him.
ALLY
But wouldn’t it kill him.
JONATHAN
I was going to stop it before it did!
ALLY
Well shouldn’t you go stop it now? It’s going to hurt Alex!
JONATHAN
Not yet, I want to see what happens.
ALLY
You asshole! How dare you do this to us!
Ally turns to run, but Jonathan grabs her. She stomps on his foot then brings her knee up into his groin. Jonathan doubles over in pain. Ally takes the opportunity to run out of the room. Jonathan manages to pull himself up to his feet and follow her out of the room.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
EXT. THE ABANDONED LAB – NIGHT
The moon shines down on the abandoned laboratory. Alex pulls into the parking lot on his motorcycle and come to a stop. He gets off the bike, pulls off his helmet, and places it on the handlebars of the bike. An insect flies by his head, and he waves his hand to scare it off. Alex looks around at his surroundings.
ALEX
(INNER)
So, this is the place? He must have Ally inside.
Alex starts walking towards the building when suddenly the door slams open and Ally runs out.
ALEX
Ally!
He runs towards her.
ALLY
Alex, it’s a trap! We have to get out of here.
They reach each other and come to a stop. Another insect flies by.
ALEX
Huh, what do you mean? Are you alright? Did he hurt you?
ALLY
I’m fine, but we have to get out of here. It’s a trap. He said there’s some kind of creature here that’s going to attack us.
ALEX
You mean an Undead? That bastard.
More insects are flying around now. Ally looks at them, then turns back to Alex.
ALLY
How did you know that? And why are you here? I thought my dad was supposed to come.
ALEX
I came to save you. Your father gave me something to use to fight that guy and the Undead. But for now let’s get out of here; there’s too many damn bugs.
They turn and start walking towards the bike. The insects are all around them now.
ALLY
Where did all these bugs come from? There so gross!
Then, in front of them, between them and the motorcycle, the bugs start gathering. They take the shape of a creature before finally fusing into an Undead. The Undead, which looks like a locust, now blocks there path.
ALLY
AH!! What the hell is that thing?
ALEX
Get behind me, Ally.
Alex pushes Ally behind him. He pulls the belt buckle out of his pocket and puts the ace of spades card into it. He holds the buckle in front of him and a belt forms around him.
ALLY
What’re you doing?
Alex ignores her. The buckle starts to make a pulsing sound. He brings his right hand up slowly, palm facing upward with his index finger extended. Then he turns it around quickly so his palm is facing the Undead.
ALEX
Henshin!
Alex bring up his left hand in a mirror pose to his right, and brings his right hand down suddenly and flips the face plate of the belt buckle over.
COMPUTERIZED VOICE
Turn up!
At this moment, the Undead begins to charge at him, only to run head on into a glowing blue rectangle. The symbol of the ace of spades glows in the center of the triangle. The Undead is knocked off its feet. Alex runs forward, through the glowing rectangle. When he emerges from the other side he’s clad in blue with silver armor. There’s a spade on his chest, with another gold one on his red belt buckle. A sword hangs from his hip. He’s been transformed in to Masked Rider Blade.
ALLY
Alex? What’s going on?
BLADE
Stay back, Ally. I’ll explain everything when I’m done trashing this bug.
Blade turns his attention to the Undead, which is standing once more. He draws his sword and charges at the creature.
BLADE
Take this, monster!
Blade rushes the Undead and brings his sword down in an overhead slash. The Undead blocks with its arm. Blade takes a step back, then tries a horizontal slash, but the Undead blocks it again. The undead then punches Blade in the chest, knocking him back. Blade rushes forward again and attempts a series of horizontal slashes at the Undead, but it successfully defends against them. Then, it turns the table on Blade, pushing him back with a series of quick jabs, topping it of with a kick to Blades chest that knocks him to the ground and sends his sword flying. Blade gets up on one knee and looks at the undead which has its back to the building.
BLADE
Damn, this isn’t working. I…
Behind the Undead, by the corner of the building, Blade sees Garren. Garren stands there, watching the fight between Blade and the Undead.
BLADE
Garren! Why are you just standing there?!
Blade gets up and rushes the Undead, delivering several punches to the Undead. The Undead sidesteps in an attempt to get behind Blade, but Blade winds up grabbing the Undead from behind instead.
BLADE
How dare you kidnap Ally! It was supposed to be your job to protect people from these things.
The Undead frees itself from Blade’s hold and spins around behind him. It kicks Blade to the ground. Blade looks up in time to see Garren turn and walk off.
BLADE
Damn you! I’ll get you for this, you bastard!
Blade jumps forward and rolls. He grabs his sword and comes up on to one knee. He charges the Undead again and lands several horizontal and vertical slashes to the creature, the last of which injures it and knocks it to the ground.
BLADE
Now’s my chance.
Blade turns his sword over and folds a card holder out of the hilt. He draws the four of spades out. He folds the holder back into the hilt, and then slashes the card in the sword.
COMPUTERIZED VOICE
Tackle.
Blade throws the card forward, and it turns into a small glowing rectangle. The rectangle absorbs into his chest. Blade, charged with power, runs at the Undead, shoulder down so as to tackle the creature. The Undead however jumps over Blade and lands behind him.
ALLY
Alex!
The Undead leans forward and wings emerge from its back. It uses its powerful leg to thrust itself toward Blade. Blade turns in time to be slammed into by the Undead. It picks him up and carries him, intending to smash Blade into the wall of the lab. Blade just has time to slash the Tackle card again before they slam into the wall. This time the Undead is not so lucky. It cries out in pain and falls to its knees. Its belt buckle pops open. Blade manages to draw a blank card from his sword and throw it at the defeated Undead before falling over. The card sticks into the chest of the Undead, and it falls to the ground. The card absorbs the creature into it, and then flies back to land beside Blade. The card now has the Locust Undead sealed in it, and it’s become the five of spades with the word kick on it.
ALLY
Alex, oh my god! Are you alright?
Ally runs over to where Blade lies on his back on the ground. He reaches up and flips over the face plate on his belt buckle and remover the ace of spades. As Ally kneels beside him, the glowing blue rectangle changes him back into Alex. Ally puts her arm behind him and helps him sit up.
ALLY
Easy now, are you ok?
ALEX
I’m better than that Undead is.
ALLY
Thank god. What just happened here? I can’t believe what I just saw. How did you transform like that, and what was that thing?
ALEX
I’ll tell you later. Now where did that guy go?
ALLY
You mean Jonathan? I don’t know where he went. He disappeared during the fight. I’m sorry.
ALEX
It’s not your fault.
Alex looks at Ally, then pulls her into a hug.
ALEX
God, I was so worried about you. He didn’t hurt you, did he?
Ally lays her head on Alex’s shoulder.
ALLY
No, he just wanted something from my father. He said he didn’t want to hurt me. Thank you for coming to save me, Alex.
They sit there embracing one another for a few moments before they both realize what they’re doing. They pull back embarrassed and look away. Alex climbs to his feet, and extends his hand back towards Ally.
ALEX
Come on, let’s go home.
Ally smiles and grabs his hand he pulls her to her feet, and they walk toward Alex’s motorcycle, still holding hands.
ALEX
Check it out; your dad gave me this awesome bike to come save you with.
ALLY
What!? Great, I’ll never hear the end of this now.
They look at each other and laugh.
