no not from avi's, these are direct tvrips, i have a dvdrecorder connected to my cable box, which is how i made this dvd, but i just got a dvdwriter so i wanna remake the dvd my own way since i cant author usin a dvdrecorder, i own a panasonic dmr-e85hs model dvdrecorder.

sorry n-guy, international shippin costs more then 4 dollars for priority plus this is a region 1 dvd-r ntsc disc i doub't u'd be able to play it other then ur computer. no one has yet to win this, still waitin on 10th pm!

I can get higher quality from TV mainframe, I just like ViRGE's better.
Most people probably don't need it cause they already dled ViRGE's encodes as well.

tru virge's encodes are top notch around here, all i'm sayin though is that since these are tvrips, u can't get higher quality then that, well unless u wait till the official dvd is released.

ur pushin too hard, and readin too hard....i never implied anything of what u said about me commentin on virges encodes, i said he's are the best around. i said my eps are higher quality then his try because he had to encode then u have to re-encode to put on dvd, losin quality, at any rate. end of discussion

No it doesn't, it plays basically the same as if u were playing it on the computer.
I've done it countless times when I pirated movies in Mpeg/AVI format.

oh god no betheswallow! why would i give out a spd cover?? thats so for me! :D its because i got u to make me a spd cover for my vol 1 dvd that i'm gonna remake my spd dvd vol 1 since i have a dvd burner i can author and make my own menus and stuff....this person just got the extra spd dvd vol 1 i made i have 2 copies.

Well N-Guy if yu still want hlp befoer the officla DVD comes out contact me, first off megagao is misinformed about how his recorder works:

I knwo the DMR line like the back of my hand, I have a DMR-HS2 from 2002 and a 2005 DMR-E500HS unit, his is from 2004.

He's used the first of 9 rpeset finalize menus, I prefer the fourth for PRSPD Personally, and have similar menus.

His Disc is not REGION-1 encoded, it's ALL-REGION, because it was burned on a DMR Unit which may only read R1 but nly burns R0/All-region discs, I don't know how many people dont' seem to understand this. Second you're in Canada and Canada is an R1 country.

Also, NTSC is a non-issue in Canada and shipping should be as cheap as $4.00 if you use the right type of packging and dont' do international priority mail, again megagao is going to pay $20.00 to ship an item w/int'l delivery confirmation that I could ship for $4.00US without delivery confirmation in a padded mailer!

His Disc looks good for a cable airing, but mine are superior to his for the sole fact that my source is Digital Satellite and not Digital Cable which compresses ABC FAM signals into Analog which shows in megagaos screen caps, not bad, but not perfect either. He did use SP Mode which was smart and the unit appears to be in it's optimal settings but I could do a better Disc and I could also copy it and add a REGION-lock if I wanted too, for instance I can copy it to my hard drive, lock it to Regions, 1,2,4 and then burn a copy of my original Disc, all I've done is added region locking, but MegaGao is selling a disc directly from the set-top recorder, not bad, but not perfect either.
