Hey. Have been working on this for a while, and have 8 chapters written. Wasn't sure how well it would go down here, but here goes.

Unfortunatly, the formatting I use for scene breaks does not show up on here, and I'm screwed if I am going to go through it all changing it. If you want to see the proper version, it is at FanFiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2302039/1/)

Forever Red

Chapter 1: Recruiting Part 1

Cars sped through the sprawling futuristic city, as a stranger to this time broke in to a jog, analysing the world of 2020. Things seemed much the same to his time, huge buildings towering above him, vehicles passing him. A huge noticeable difference though, was the presence of non-human life forms. Fortunately, he had been expecting this, his briefing had explained the dramatic changes that had occurred to the world in fifteen years.

Wes looked around the city again, running over his instructions in his head again. He had little idea of how the person who had contacted him knew about this future, but at the moment, it didn’t matter. All that mattered was fulfilling his goal.

“In the future, Power Rangers will not be as such a rare sight as they now are. However, not all of them would benefit our mission. On close inspection of the files I received from your Time Force colleagues, I think I have found the best candidate. His name is Jack Landers, the Red Ranger of the elite crime fighting force, SPD.”

These were the words of the stranger who had approached Wes a few days ago. At first the Red Time Force Ranger was dubious about this person’s identity and authenticity, but when he was joined by another person, another Red Ranger, those doubts were removed.

As soon as the teleportation blast dissolved, revealing the long blonde haired figure, Wes recognised him as Andros, the Red Ranger who was on the team whom he considered the most heroic. They were known as the Space Rangers, and their courage in the year 1999 had saved the Earth from a huge invasion.

Wes’ mind snapped back to the present, or technically, the future, as he heard a large explosion erupt from a nearby street. Almost instinctively, Wes reached for his Chrono Morpher, sweeping a stand of hair from his face with his over hand.

“It’s time for Time Force!”

Angel Grove- The year 2005

“I’m not sure about this.” The brown haired male said to his old friend, who was glaring at him intensely. “It’s been ages since I have done anything like this, I gave up the power for a reason.”

“I expected more from you Rocko.” The other person said, standing up from his seat in their old haunt, the Angel Grove Juice Bar, which had been known as The Surf Spot for a good few years now. “This isn’t about you, it’s about the planet’s safety. It isn’t a trivial matter,” He lowered his voice. “If it was, do you think I would have sent a Ranger in to the future to get reinforcements? We need as many people as we can, and I thought I could rely on you. You were a good Ranger.”

“Exactly, Tommy.” Rocky said quietly. “Past tense.”

Blue Bay Harbour –2005

A slick red car burst down a narrow road of the city, an African American at the wheel, looking down at his Turbo Navigator, then back to the road ahead.

“It’s good to have you back, Lightning Cruiser.” He chuckled to the car, which gave no apparent response. “I’ve got no idea how Tommy found you, but he must have gone to quite a bit of trouble. It can’t be for no reason.”

As if by cue, the communicator in the car beeped.

“It isn’t T.J.” Came a familiar voice through the device. “Have you found the academy yet?”

“Not yet.” T.J replied. “I think I am on route though. Have you had any more luck tracking down the others?”

“I’m working on it.” Came the reply. “I’m trying to get through to Aquitar, which should be easy. It’s Mironi which may prove difficult.”

“Well,” T.J replied, his eyes on the road ahead, “If needs be we can do it without them, Andros.”

“True,” The Red Space Ranger replied, “but Tommy was quite insistent we get all the Red Rangers we can. He isn’t underestimating our foe.”

“I don’t understand it all either, Carter.” Captain Mitchell said to him, looking at the former Lightspeed Ranger infront of him. He was looking puzzled, holding his Rescue Morpher in his hands. “All I know is that I have been told to give you this back, and instruct you to head to Turtle Cove. You will be met there.”

Reluctantly, Carter nodded, and left the room in the refurbished AquaBase.

Minutes later, Carter was in his familiar costume of Red spandex, with white sections across the front. As his eyes adjusted to looking through the visor again, he climbed on his Rescue Cycle, which had presumably been held here in the storage bay since the Lightspeed powers had been given back to the organisation.

The year 2020

Wes charged around the corner, to see the source of the explosion. Opposite the large Rhino type monster were five figures, dressed in the familiar suits of the Power Rangers.

As he drew closer, Wes say the monster blast a bolt of energy from it’s horn at the Pink Ranger, whose suit was emblazoned with a “5”. The Yellow Ranger soon followed, as the Blue and Green Rangers attempted to hold their ground.

“Need some help?” Wes cried, drawing his Rescue Blaster, and firing at the beast’s stomach. The Blue and Green Rangers looked around confused, as the beast took the hits.

Wes looked in surprise as a blur of red shot down from above, blasting at the monster with two weapons simultaneously. The Pink and Yellow Rangers ran along side Wes.

“Thanks.” The Pink Ranger said, puzzled.

“No problem.” Wes said, “Now, let’s finish it.”
“I’ll take it from here.” Came another voice, from the Red Ranger, whom Wes assumed was Jack landers, his target. “It’s Judgement Time!”

30 minutes later, SPD Mobile Command

“So explain this to me again.” Commander Crueger said, raising his snout a little.

Wes sighed slightly, not enough for the dog type humanoid to notice.

“I have been sent from the past, using technology developed by Time Force, to recruit your Red Ranger, Jack, to help us on our mission.”

“Whose us?” Came the annoyed voice of the Blue Ranger, Sky.

“12 generations of Red Rangers. The best of the best.” Wes said, getting a little irritated now.

“Then does that mean?” Sky said, looking up to Crueger. “My father?”

“Probably not cadet.” The Commander replied. “Your father was the best of SPD Rangers, but by no means the best ranger in existence. That title is probably held by Thomas Oliver.”

“The very Ranger who sent me.” Wes nodded.

Sky looked disappointed. “There’s one more thing that confuses me, why does your suit look identical to my father’s?”

Crueger answered, noticing Wes’ confused look. “The original SPD Ranger powers, the powers your father used, were based upon Time Force technology from the future.”

Wes said nothing more, looking around at the high tech base, which was lined with computer terminals. He had even seen a robotic dog walking around.

The silence was broken as Jack, African American with dreadlocks, entered the room, with Syd and Z, the Pink and Yellow SPD Rangers along side him.

“Ready then?” Jack said enthusiastically. He was wearing a grey uniform with red trim, which Wes presumed was their on duty uniform.

“Why him.” Sky muttered under his breath, which triggered a look from his commander.

“Jack!” Came the cry of the last remaining SPD Ranger, Bridge.

“What is it Bridge?” Jack said, impatiently, as Wes started to tap buttons on his Chrono Morpher.

“When you’re in the past, send me a postcard!”

Jack rolled his eyes, as Wes started to speak.

“Jen, I’m ready. Activate the portal to 2005.”

There was no verbal response, but a strange distortion appeared in the air before them.

“Good luck Jack!” Syd shouted, as the Red Rangers approached the portal.

“Go get them!” Z added, as Wes vanished. Jack took a deep breath, and slowly pushed his hand through. Before he could do anything else, he was sucked through.

“Good luck Cadet Landers!” Came the echoed call of Commander Crueger, as Jack felt himself slipping away.

2005

“Conner, have you rendezvoused with the others yet?” Came Tommy’s voice over the Red Dino Ranger’s borrowed communicator. After viewing the history of the Power Rangers, he felt quite honoured to be wearing such a relic. It resembled a regular watch, but could do so much more.

“I am with Cole, Dr. O.” Conner responded, looking to the figure next to him.

Cole looked puzzled as the voice came from the device, not used to such technology. These last few days had been quite puzzling in themselves, first of all the Red Lion had appeared to him, and he had found himself able to morph again, with no real explanation. A few days later, this young man named Conner had approached him, and told him he was to help on a mission to take down one of the universe’s biggest evils. Now they were waiting for one more person.

It seemed their wait was over, as the roar of a Rescue Cycle filled the street in which the two Rangers were standing. Cole was unaware of exactly where they were, but he knew they were still in Turtle Cove.

“Carter Greyson?” Conner said to the rider as the cycle slowed down.

“Yes. I assume it’s you I am here to meet?”

“Yes. I am Conner, and this is Cole. There are more of us, but we will meet them later.”

Cole was getting slightly excited, it had been a while since he had seen any action like this. He looked back to Carter, now demorphed, and then to Conner, who was starting to talk in to his communicator.

“Dr. O, Carter has arrived. Ready when you are.”

“Well done Conner.” Came Tommy’s voice. “I’ll get Andros to lock on to your communicator signal and teleport you straight away.

On the planet of Aquitar

Consoles beeped and buttons flashed, as a young man sat at a terminal, concentrating on the information he was getting through the monitor. He had been living on this planet for years now, since he had started to age rapidly, and it had become his home. He still thought of earth frequently though, and this latest development had given him a buzz of excitement at the chance of meeting up with an old friend.

William Cranston turned around as he heard footsteps from behind him. The figure who had entered wore a black uniform, lined with a purple triangular collar. She had long blonde hair, and had a golden mask over her face, below her bumpy forehead, which was decorated with purple spots. Across her chest was a sash, with a shell on it. This was Delphine, the White Aquitarian Ranger.

“Any progress Billy? Is the message from him after all?” She said in a soft soothing voice.

“I’ve cleaned up the audio we received.” Billy explained, “and it definitely mentions him, and Aurico.”

Saying no more, the former Blue Ranger clicked on an icon on his monitor, as a voice came from the terminal’s speakers, partially distorted by static.

“This is a message from the Red Ranger, Andros of KO-35, on behalf of Thomas Oliver. We request the services of your Red Ranger, Aurico, for a special mission. Communications are becoming difficult. We shall arrive shortly. Please respond.”

“And that’s where it terminates.” Billy frowned. “It’s a little vague.”

“I agree.” Delphine nodded slowly, and what about it’s authenticity?”

“Also in doubt. This ‘Andros’ certainly was a Red Ranger, it was him who unleashed the so called ‘Z-Wave’ which destroyed the attacking United Alliance of Evil all those years ago. However, it could still be a trap, it seems particularly strange that after all this time, we are being contacted and that they only want Aurico.”

“I agree, as usual.” Delphine smiled. Although almost a legend for his own exploits as a Ranger, Billy was certainly a great asset to the Aquitarians as their technical assistant and consultant. “I shall inform Aurico, and suggest that,” Delphine was cut off by another voice.

“I shall go.” Aurico said, determinedly. “It not be real, but then again, it may be. If I am needed, I shall go.”

Billy looked p to Delphine, unsure of what she would say. She was officially the leader, but he knew that she respected Aurico the most out of her five Rangers. He often took the lead in battle, and acted as second in command.

“Very well.” Delphine said quietly. “We do not know when they will come for you, so be prepared.”

“Can you not go a little slower?” The Ranger known as Shane shouted over the wind and engine noise of Lightning Cruiser, as he looked at the stranger who had just appeared at the Wind Ninja Academy, where the Red Wind Ranger now taught.

“It’s not up to me.” T.J chuckled, taking his hands from the wheel. “If I chose to, we could go the whole way like this.”

“Don’t do that.” Shane said, half-serious. He loved a good airborne manoeuvre, but would prefer it if they were kept to the sky. “Are you going to explain why I’m going with you now?”

“Sure.” T.J said, placing his hands back on the wheel, “I believe you have met Tommy Oliver. Former Green, White, Red and Black Ranger?”

“Yeah,” Shane nodded, “When Lother came back, and I got my powers back. Is he behind this?”

“He was the one who sent me, yes.” T.J said, noticing Shane’s slightly more serious demeanour, compared to his own, anyway. “Working with another Red Ranger, Andros, Tommy has discovered a major plot by one of the universe’s biggest remaining evils. For a few weeks, they have been planning this operation, an all out attack using the combined skills of all of the former Red Rangers.”

Mironi

“Leo, what are you doing?” Came the soft voice of Kendrix, former Pink Galaxy Ranger, as she looked towards her friend. The two were standing in a forest like area of the planet, in a familiar spot for them.

Leo turned around slowly, looking straight at Kendrix, and her blonde hair, which shimmered in the soft moonlight.

“I need to take my Quasar Saber. Just once more.”

Kendrix frowned as she looked at Leo’s eyes. He was determined, and she was sure nothing she could say would stop him, but it was worth a try.

“Are you sure about this? Even Damon himself said anyone could have sent the message in to Alpha 6. It didn’t have to be Andros. It could be a trap.”

“What’s more likely? No one else really knows that I was a Ranger, why would they be after me? They need me, and I am going with them. It’s what they would do if I asked them.”

“I didn’t think I could change your mind.” Kendrix said, smiling slightly. “When are you leaving?”

“When ever the new Megaship gets here to pick me up.” He smiled, feeling a little uncomfortable. “Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.”

He turned away from Kendrix, and towards the pedestal of stone that sat before him. He knelt on the damp ground, and reached out for his saber, for one last time.

“So, assuming Leo and Aurico can’t get a message to us, and will come along, that’s eleven?” Andros said to Tommy, as they sat in the AstroMegaShip Mark II’s control room. In the middle were thirteen seats, added just in case, surrounded by computer terminals and controls.

“Yeah, I think so.” Tommy nodded. “The others should be here soon. “

“Good! Then we can kick the butt of whatever’s attacking the Earth, and I can get home!” Came the enthusiastic voice of Jack, as he entered the room.

“We can always send you home now.” Tommy muttered, winking slyly at Andros. “I’m sure we could do this without you, if you would rather be at home?”

Jack blushed. “I didn’t mean it like that, I,” He stuttered.

Tommy chuckled, as he stood up, and patted Jack on the back.
“I know man, I know. Relax.”

The Red SPD Ranger smiled with relief as Tommy walked away, towards a console.

“Tommy, I’m getting a request to board via the lower ramp.” Andros said across the room.

“Good. We are almost all here.”

Rocky stood on the edge of the large field that the Megaship was resting on. It seemed that Tommy was not too concerned about being inconspicuous this time.

The moon shone from the car’s red paintwork as it drove up the ramp that was beneath the ship.

It was now or never.

Quickly, the Red Ranger ran from his viewing point, towards the large blue ship.

Unknown to him, he was being followed. The second person smiled, knowing Rocky had made the right decision, as he too walked towards the transport.

The nine Rangers sat in the control room, T.J and Shane having been rushed up from the lower levels.

“Doctor O?” Conner piped up, “Are you going to tell us what we are fighting now?”

“Not yet.” Tommy said seriously, looking at the Rangers sitting in the ship’s chairs. “We have two more Rangers to pick up first. That will make our total eleven. Then we may stand a chance.”

“You won’t need me then?” Came a voice from the doorway.

The assembled Rangers all turned around, as Tommy let out a smile.

“Rocko!” He said, “I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Guys,” he continued, turning back to the others, “This is Rocky, one of the first Red Rangers.”

“Not THE first though.” Came another voice. Rocky and Tommy stepped forward, out of the doorway to reveal another figure.

“Bro!” Tommy shouted, leaving Rocky’s side, and walking towards Jason.

“Sure is.” Jason smiled, grabbing Tommy’s hand, in the handshake they had shared since Tommy’s days as the Green Ranger. “You didn’t think I would let you do this without the original Red Ranger did you?”

Conner looked up at the figure. Tommy had mentioned Jason to him before, and it was quite exciting to meet someone who even Tommy Oliver considered a legend.

“Ready then?” Andros said, standing up, as he looked sideways to T.J. “I’m going to need your help.” He explained. “It’s not too different from the original Megaship.”

“Ok then.” Tommy said as T.J got in to a suitable position for accessing the controls, “Let’s go. First stop, Aquitar. I’ll do the introductions when we are all here.”

The M51 Galaxy

On a planet known only as Gamma Vile sat a tall rocky structure, atop a spiralled path which led up a tall mountain. Outside the building’s domed doors stood two reptilian like guards, dressed in a crimson uniform with a golden trim.

“It appears some one knows about our plan.” Echoed a menacing voice from the very top of the structure’s tower. “This is most displeasing.”

In the middle of the dark room, which was lit from above with a dim purple light, sat a strange looking creature on a large golden throne.

“But how Pa?” Came the reply, from the skeletal like creature who stood infront of the throne. Half of his body was a dusty white, whilst the other was a camouflage like green, brown and black.

“There is only one explanation Rito.” The being responded, raising his sceptre.

Rito Revolto looked straight at Master Vile’s golden head, which was elongated at each end. His face, in the middle, was half black and half gold, a colour scheme that matched the rest of his body.

“You are the only one who has been any where near Earth. You must have alerted one of the Power Rangers to your presence.” Master Vile hissed.

“But,” Rito stuttered, “I only did what you said! I went to the moon, to try and find where Ed’s big robot thing was hidden, and then,” He was cut off by a bolt of electricity from his father’s staff, which hit just in front of Rito’s skeletal foot.

“That does not matter now. What matters is putting the plan in to action before they get a chance to stop me. Now that the Rangers are involved, I can use this as a chance to exact my revenge on them. Send the troops to Earth!”

I'll post the next bit if I get any interest, or alternativly, just read it at FF.net.

You would probably be better reading it on FF.net. All 8 chapters that are done are there, and there are proper scene breaks.

Yeah, but it takes all of the formatting out of it, so you can't tell where the scene breaks are meant to be.
