Customising a Thundersaurus Mopher

Hi,

Sorry to bring this morpher up again, Ive searched and searched for this but cannot find an answer to my question. I live in the uk and we only just recently saw the release of the Dino Thunder Toyline here. :(

Ive known for a while that this morpher did not have a locking jaw but japanese version would cost me $70+ to have shipped to the uk. I got my US version yesterday as a last resort and Im wondering if anyone has figured out exactly what makes the Dino Brace lock and what prevents the US version from doing so??

I cant be the only one thats opened up their Thundersaurus Mopher lol

Should be fairly easy to lock...Just put a latch on that sticks when it opens.

Dunno about that, I'm watching out for somewhere to buy a dino brace from at the minute :D

I have both. It might not be hard, but the latch is actually set in a groove cut out on the black part of the brace. Depending on the latch you use you may or may not have to cut the groove. Also there is the factor of making the red button release the jaw. I don't want to open my Dino Brace to figure out how it works, I hope this helps, if you have any other questions about it, let me know. :)

I heard the drago morpher does have a locking jaw. When we get those in the uk, I might see if it helps to see how that latch locks and unlocks with the button.

Would still appreciate any suggestions though especially from those who have the japanese version

Damn forgot about the Drago Morpher having the locking jaw. I'd might wait and buy 2 of them and use one for parts, now I'll have to look at my Drago to see how it works. If no one posts anything about it I will later on how the latch works on it. I don't mind taking it apart, I have the Dino Minder.

theirs NO way to get it to lock,bandai america took out all the gizmo's and groves in the plastic to make it happen. Trust me,theirs NO way.

Oh sorry didn't mean to make it sound like it was for sale, if that is the way you took it. Maybe I just took it that way...

Um you're probably not going to have any luck with the Drago Morpher latch, there is none on the outside. It is a different type. Sorry if this bursts your bubble, but I think you're s.o.l. :shame:

But don't give up, if you are really intent on trying it, go for it, don't let me or the other people here try to stop you.
