Scene: Downtown Coral Bay.
Today is the day of the parade celebrating the re-election of the Mayor. Colorful and festive floats head down the streets of the city, lead by a marching band. People stand on the sidewalks, cheering, as the mayor and his wife drive down the street in a red convertible, the top rolled down, waving to everyone they pass. We zoom in on a group of people, and see Landon and Anna standing there. Landon is wearing a blue hooded shirt, blue sweat pants and some white and blue sneakers. Anna, her hair pulled back into a ponytail, is wearing a black and white stripped shirt, black capris, and some black sandals.
Anna: I’m so glad that Mayor Thomas got re-elected.
Landon: Yeah, me too. That guy he was running against seemed like a real jerk. But, listen, I have to use the bathroom. I’ll be right back.
Anna: Ok.
Landon walks away. Anna, and the group of people she is with, begin to cheer, as the mayor begins to drive by. As he does, the wind picks up, blowing peoples hair around. Anna looks up, and gasps. Floating in the air, is the Red Ranger himself.
Mayor: Red Ranger. It is great to see you. I wanted to thank you for protecting our fair city. Tell me, are you hear to help us celebrate?
The Red Ranger draws his Jungle Blaster, and aims it forward. He fires it, the blasts hitting the hood of the car. Everyone gasps in shock, and the Red Ranger places his weapon back in its holster. As the mayor’s body guards aim their guns at him, he laughs, and flies off. Moments later, Landon returns. The mayor, who had dove under the seat, slowly rises up, and tells the driver to bring him back to city hall.
Landon: What did I miss?
Anna looks at him, a look of disgust in her face.
Landon: What?
Anna just shakes her head, and starts to walk away. Landon chases after her, trying to figure out what she is upset about.
Landon: Anna Anna, come back
(Opening Credits)
Act 1
Scene: Coral Bay Public Park.
Anna has made her way to the park, in an attempt to lose Landon. She couldn’t believe what she had just seen. Her own boyfriend had just attacked the mayor. He catches up with her, and grabs her shoulder. He turns her around, and she slaps him across the face. He touches his cheek, which is now stinging.
Landon: What the hell was that for?
Anna: You know what it was for. I can’t believe you. Why would you do that? How could you?
Landon: What? Go to the bathroom? Sorry that I drank to much soda.
Anna: No, not that. I can’t believe you. You attacked the mayor. Why?
Landon: What are you talking about?
Anna: You know what, I can’t deal with this. You want to be an ass, go ahead. I’m leaving.
She runs off, disappearing into the distance. Landon goes to run after her, but, decides not to. He turns around, to head for home, but sees the Blue Ranger standing before him.
Landon: Andy, why are you morphed? Is their an attack downtown?
The Blue Ranger shakes his head.
Landon: Then, what’s up?
Blue Ranger says nothing. He draws his Jungle Blaster, and aims it at Landon.
Landon: Spirits of the Jungle, Awaken and Transform
His body flashes red, and he morphs into the Red Condor Ranger. He flips over the blasts, and lands before the Blue Ranger.
Red Ranger: Andy, what are you doing?
The Blue Ranger just laughs, as he summons his Shark Staff. He twirls it through the air, and slashes the Red Ranger across the chest with it. Red Ranger summons his Condor Sword, and the two begin to clash weapons, sparks flying from the weapons upon contact.
Scene: Downtown Coral Bay.
Andy, who is wearing a white t-shirt, faded jeans and a pair of white sneakers, and Leah, who is wearing a yellow tank top, white capris, and white sandals, have been forced down an alley by the Black and White Rangers.
Leah: Guys, knock it off.
Andy: Yeah. What’s this all about?
Black Ranger and White Ranger look at each other, not saying a word. The two rangers draw their blasters, and open fire. Andy and Leah jump through the explosion, morphing in the process.
Scene: Coral Bay High School/Parking Lot.
Josh, who is wearing a gray t-shirt, denim shorts and some white sneakers, has just left school, after working in the auto shop. He heads towards his bike, when a blast of red light shoots towards him. He turns, and sees the Red Ranger standing before him, his blaster in hand.
Josh: What the hell was that for?
The Red Ranger just laughs, as he summons his sword, and charges towards Josh.
