Author's Note: Here's my premiere of my newest series, PR:APD. I hope you guys find it interesting and I hope you convey your comments to let me know what you thought of it.
(Opening Credits)- Soft Rock Music
A speeded view takes us from outer space, looking over OceaniaV5, through the planet's atmosphere, under the surface of the water, towards the top of a domed city. Inside we see a silver and blue Hummer racing through the streets with the silver letters of APD on the sides. The Hummer runs into the camera bringing up the logo Power Rangers A.P.D.
The next scene comes up showing the Pink Aqua Ranger standing on a rotating platform with her arms folded in front of her, right beside her is a holographic form of a Caucasian female, with long black hair, wearing a pink shirt and a black skirt with her arms also folded. A pink caption below reads "Kristen Kruek as Synthia", in the background is a scene of the Pink Ranger leaping over a group of Tigras and blasting them with her blaster weapon.
The next shot is of the Yellow Aqua Ranger standing on a rotating platform with her arms behind her back, right beside her is a holographic form of a darker skinned Latino female,with long brown hair, wearing a yellow shirt and black skirt with her arms folded behind her back. A yellow caption below reads "Zoe Saldana as Kelli", in the background we see the Yellow Ranger racing down the street on a motorcycle blasting a monster to the ground.

We finally we come to the shot of the Red Aqua Ranger standing on a rotating platform with his arms folded in front of him, right next to him was a holographic form of another African American male with a short haircut, wearing a red shirt and black pants also with his arms folded in front of him. A red caption below reads "Sam Jones III as Issac", in the background he is also riding a motorcycle blasting through some Tigras.
Scenes go by showing Commander Riggor, Empress Serita, General Sharkton, and many monsters fighting the rangers. The camera shows a distant shot of Oceania City as a shark swims by swishing bubbles bringing up the logo Power Rangers A.P.D.
(Title-Protect and Serve Pt. 1)
(Act One-Scene One-Delta Patrol Academy)
We hover over the waters of the planet of OceaniaV5, admiring the peaceful atmoshphere, until we plung under its surface and head down to the bottom where we find the domed metropolis of Oceania CIty. The tall skyscrapers dot its landscape as well as the myriad of highway systems. We can see hover cars traveling through out the city. Different people are seen walking along elevated walkways to and from their points of desitination. Our focus takes us to a fairly large building sitting on the outskirts of the domed city. On the front of the steeled building, in silver blue letters, are the words "Delta Patrol Academy".
Inside the Academy we find different young men and women in the hallway proceeding to their next classes. They all wore uniforms of navy blue and black pants with a patch on the backside of their shirts that read "Cadets". Our view takes up a flight of stairs to the floor where the Cadets' sleeping quarters are. We can hear some rock music coming out of one of the rooms. As other Cadets pass by they can't believe that the music was loud enough to be heard out in the halls. We entre the room to find a total mess with clothes strewn everywhere, beds unmade, posters of female swimsuit models hanging up. At a table in the center of the room we find two African American males sitting looking through class training books. They each had on their uniform with the words "Cadets" on the back, but on the front on the left side was their name.
One of the boys was reading a Criminal Psychology book, his name was Issac Benton. Next to him the other boy was looking through a Marine Biology book, his name was Devon Gregory. They hadn't noticed that they were late for their next classes, even though they had set an alarm clock to remind them.
Issac: Man this test on the criminal mindset is starting to drain me out.
Devon: I know what you mean.
Issac started to stretch and saw a blue colored flyer sitting on his unmade bed. He reached over and grabbed it and started looking over it.
Issac: Hey, I forgot about this Grand Openning Bash, it's suppose to be tonight. You think you might want to swing by there later on tonight and check it out?
Issac has asked Devon knowing that he and Devon did a lot of things together. They had been buddies ever since Devon and his family moved to OceaniaV5 from Earth.
Devon: Sounds like something I'm definiately into.
Just then there came a knock on the door. Issac barely heard it. Turning down the stereo he went to the door and opened it partially. When he looked out and saw who it was he quickly closed it.
Standing on the opposite side of the door was a tall stout gentleman. He was a Caucasian male with short brown hair, wearing a dark navy blue uniform with four gold bars on his shoulders. On his name plate read the words "Commander Stephen Riggor". He stood at the door with his arms behind his back waiting for the door to open. Inside he could hear both the boys trying to straighten up. Minutes later the door finally opened with Issac standing in the doorway.
Issac: Commander Riggor, it's so nice of you to stop by today to our humble sleeping quarters.
Commander Riggoer: You can stop with trying to butter me up Cadet Benton, I have received another complaint about the music in this room being loud again. What did we discuss about the volume level of the music in this building?
Command Riggor wasn't trying to be rough, but needed the boys to understand that if they were going to be Delta Patrollers they would have to obey certain rules and regulations.
Issac: That all music of any kind must be played to the level where only the occupants can hear it and not ones outside the occupant's sleeping quarters.
Commander Riggor: That is correct, Cadet Benton. I don't ever want to have to remind you two again, is that understood?"
Both: Yes, sir.
Commander Riggor: Good, now I have another question that I wish to ask. Are you both cleared of classes today?
The boys looked at their alarm clock and saw that it was an hour past time that classes had started. They quickly rushed through the room, grabbed their books and bookbags and rushed past the Commander and headed down the halls. Commander Riggor couldn't believe those two, but he knew it would one day pay off.
(Scene Two-Serita's Palace)
Traveling along the ocean floor away from Oceania City we make our way into a dark mountain range. In the crevice of the mountains we find a black marble colored palace situated neatly between two mountain peaks. Inside we find tall tigershark men, colored orange with black stripes, and carrying long trident spears, marching through the palace halls; these were Tigras, they were tireless footsoldiers that fought hard in battle.
Heading down the main hall, we enter a large throneroom through two black pearl doors that slide apart to open. As we enter in we find a black crystal throne sitting in the midst of the room turned towards the wall. On that wall we can see a screen turned on showing a visual of Tigras battling again men in light blue and green armor; the Tigras are being defeated. We soon see a Tigra running to the side of the throne where we can see someone was sitting upon it. They lean towards the person in the throne whispering something in their ear. Whatever it was it didn't make the person happy one bit.
Figure: What? Another troop of Tigras were defeated in the Kyro Sector?
The Tigra nods in response to the person's question. The figure waves the Tigra away and it swiftly obeys the command. Soon the crystal throne spins around, somehow shutting off the viewing screen on the wall, and reveals a tall female being wearing a black dress that had a long black train. The person didn't have a distinguishing facial feature other than that of a masked face with black lipstick and black eyes; this was the infamous sea sorceress named Empress Serita.
Empress Serita: I can't believe that my forces have failed me again to the hands of that wretched King Tridon. There's got to be a way to defeat him, but what?
Just then the black pearl doors to the throne room slid open and in floated a rather large creature that was top half human and bottom half octopus. He wore a white lab coat and carried a clipboard with him; this was Serita's scientific master mind, Dr. Octo.
Dr. Octo: My empress, I believe I may have a way that you can increase the powers of your army and finally defeat that King Tridon once and for all.
Empress Serita: Ah Dr. Octo, you have advised me on many scientific endeavors in the past.
She spoke in a sweet voice, but everything changed when she raised her hands towards him and released energy bolts from her fingers grabbing Dr. Octo by the throat.
Empress Serita: All of them were failures, all of them costed me a victory, and all of them are reasons that I'm not queen of Oceania City!!
Dr. Octo struggled to breathe and speak.
Dr. Octo: I...understand my queen...but I may have....something that may.....bring about a different....result.
Empress Serita: What could that possibly be?
Dr. Octo: Haven't you heard....of the infamous....Aqua Crystals?
Serita finally released him to fall to the floor.
Empress Serita: Yes I've heard of them. They're said to be five powerful crystal orbs, with the strongest power in the galaxy. What does that have to do with anything?
Dr. Octo: I believe I may....I may have discovered their location. According to the read out that I've received they are located in an underground cavern in the middle of Oceania City.
The news caused Serita to sit back on her throne and start rubbing her long nailed hands together.
Empress Serita: With my hands on those crystals, I could power up my army strong enough to defeat Tridon and his army and reclaim Oceania City.
Serita laughed gleefully with the thought of obtaining the Aqua Crystals.
Empress Serita: Dr. Octo inform General Sharkton to take an army of Tigras with him to Oceania City and find those crystals.
Dr. Octo: Yes empress, your command shall be obeyed.
Octo bowed before his queen before floating out of the throne room.
Empress Serita: Soon Tridon, I shall reclaim what is rightfully mine and I shall watch you suffer for what you did to me.
Serita snarled and laughed as her crystal throne turned back around from view.
(Scene Three-Delta Patrol Academy)
It was another long day at the Academy and mostly everyone was either in class or they were in study period. In the courtyard we find many students hanging out either studying or just talking with friends and classmates. We find Issac and Devon sitting at a table with three other Cadets. One was a Caucasian male with short blonde hair, he was working on a small blaster weapon; his name was Barry. Sitting next to him were two female Cadets, one was a Latino female with long brown hair, she was looking in her Cadet Code book, her name was Kelli, next to her was a Caucasian female with long flowing black hair, she was looking through her Planet History book, her name was Synthia.
Synthia:So, I see you guys decided to show up for class after all. We were starting to think you weren't going to make it at all."
Isac: Hey, it was a mistake on our part that we promised Commander Riggor to defer from.
Kelli: You guys, when are you going to take it seriously that we're here for a purpose and not to play around? For the Commander to come down means that it was way serious."
Devon: You're right, we should take it seriously.
Issac: So, whose going to the Tidal Wave's Grand Opening Bash Today?
Snythia: Issac, did you not hear anything that was just said?
Issac: Of course I did, and it was taken seriously, but I was just asking if anyone was going to the party today.
Kelli: How can you even think about going to a party, when you know you have a midterm coming up in Marine Biology? Don't even think about looking to Devon helping you.
Issac: Why not, we're roommates.
Snythia: You can't always count on each other to help the other person out. There's going to come a time when you're going to have to rely on yourself.
Kelli: Synthia's right, you've got to think about what's more important.
Issac: It's not going to hurt you to have a little fun.
Kelli: Well, you can count me out.
Synthia: The same goes for me too.
Issac: What about you Barry, you want to come with us?
Barry was too busy working on a Delta Patrol Blaster to even pay attention. He finally looked up to respond to Issac's question.
Barry: Huh, oh I can't make it either. I've got so much stuff to work on right now that it won't merit the time.
Issac: Well Devon and I are going. We're leaving right after the last training class.
Synthia: You guys go ahead and have your fun, but it's going to come back to bite you in the end.
Devon: Whatever.
The boys grab their bookbags and head back into the building. The girls just watch them shaking their heads, wondering whether the boys are committed to being Delta Patrollers at all or not.
(Scene Four-Downtown Oceania City)
Racing over the tops of the Oceania City skyline we look down upon a major highway system with hover cars rushing back and forth. In the midst of the hustle and bustle we find a black hover jeep crusing across the pavement. Inside were Issac and Devon wearing their regular clothes. Issac was wearing a red and white shirt and blue jeans, Devon was wearing a blue fitted shirt and black pants.
Issac: Man, I heard this party was going to be off the chain.
Devon: It better be for what they're charging to get in this place. It's ridiculous to have to pay $12 to get into a party.
Issac: You know what they say, if it costs then it must be worth something.
Devon: You do make an interesting point there my friend.
The boys continued down the highway heading towards the new hang out spot in Oceania City, called The Tidal Wave. We crisscross the city and hover over a construction digging site. The sign outside the site reveals that there was to be a new highrise condo built there. A hole was formed there by the construction company in order to form the condo's foundation, but now there were Tigras walking around in it. Leading the Tigras was a large humanoid Great White Shark creature that wore a bluish gray armor with two Saber handles connected to both his sides; this was Empress Serita's army general and 2nd in command, General Sharkton.
General Sharkton: Alright troops, we have been commanded by the empress to search out and find the legendary Aqua Crystals. We shall not rest until they are found is that understood?
All the Tigras stand at attention and salute as response to Sharkton's commands. They all begin to proceed into a small cave entrance in the side of the foundation.
A few yards away on a street passing by we see Issacs hover jeep passing.
Devon: Now Issac, I didn't want to bring this up, but I hope you don't that sily looking dance move at the party that you love to do.
Issac: What do you mean, silly dance move?
Devon: You know that move that you claim your cousin taught you.
Issac: You're talking about the OC Hop?
Devon: The very one, don't even try to do that one.
Issac: Why you hatin'?
Devon: I don't hate, but when it comes to silly looking dances like yours those I don't congradulate either.
Just as they were passing the construction site Devon caught sight of a Tigra.
Devon: Hey man pull over.
Issac: What do you mean pull over, we're almost to the party.
Devon: Dude I think I just saw one of those things that Mr. Tuttle talked about.
Issac: Which was?
Devon: I think he said a Tigra.
Issac: You've got to have been mistaken. Why would a Tigra be caught here in Oceania City?
Devon: I don't know, but they're in that construction site. I believe as Cadets of the Delta Patrol we should investigate this. Besides it would get Commander Riggor off our backs.
Issac brought his hover jeep to a screeching halt.
Issac: I'm for anything that could get that man off my back.
The two boys slowly made their way through the construction site towards the edge of the foundation base. As they looked over the edge they could see a few Tigras and General Sharkton preparing to enter the cave entrance. They could overhear some of what they were saying.
General Sharkton: We must not fail the Empress, we must find those Aqua Crystals. Once she has them she will be able to defeat King Tridon once and for all. She will then be in total control of Oceania City and be able to rule OceaniaV5 as she see fit.
The boys couldn't believe what they had just heard.
Devon: We've got to get back and inform Riggor.
Issac: What about the party?
Devon: What's more important, the lives of over 10,000 Oceanians or some party?
Issac stood there for a few seconds with his hands under his chin. Devon slapped him in the back of the head.
Devon: Issac.
Issac: I was thinking, alright you're right, let's get back.
They quickly raced back to the hover jeep without any of the Tigras or Sharkton knowing that they were there. The boys drove off heading back to Delta Patrol Academy.
(Commercials)
(Act Two-Scene One-Delta Patrol Academy)
Inside Commander Riggor's office personnel officers were busy working. Some of them were working linguistic information on computers, others were going over war plans in lue of another attack from Empress Serita's forces. A few minutes later and we see both Devon and Issac come walking through the door heading towards the Commander's secretary's desk. The secretary was an African American female with long black hair, wearing a navy blue naval uniform. As the boys approached her, she looked up them with a serious tone.
Secretary: Well, Issac, I see you're back in the Commander's office again. What did you do this time?
Issac: Trust me Ms. Barrick, I'm not in trouble this time. There's something that I must tell Commander Riggor.
Secretary: I'm sorry, but he's busy at the moment talking with some of the generals. Can't it wait until later?
Issac: No ma'am, what we've seen today won't wait. In fact it's a matter of life and death concerning the people of the city.
Secretary: Well what did you see?
Devon: We were heading through the city by a construction dig site. We saw some Tigras and some kind of shark creep heading inside one of the dig site caves.
Secretary: Oh my, you boys wait right here.
Secretary Barricks quickly got up and knocked on the Commander's door. Slowly opening it she peered inside the room where the Commander was seated behind his desk speaking with his top military generals.
Commander Riggor: Ms. Barricks, I made it clear that we are not to be disturbed.
Secretary: I know Commander, but it is urgent that concerns everyone in this room.
Command Riggor: What is it?
Secretary Barricks brought the two boys in, the Commander at first thought it was about a disciplinary action.
Command Riggor: I don't have time for this, what have you boys done this time?
Devon: Commander its nothing we done, it's what we've seen in the city.
Commander Riggor: What was it?
Issac: We spotted a gang of Tigras and a shark creature in at a construction dig site going into a cave.
Commander Riggor: Tigras, in the city? You said you saw some kind of shark creature, did he look like a great white shark?
Issac and Devon: Yeah!!
Commander Riggor: General Sharkton. Thanks boys for that information.
Issac: Commander, can't we help in some way?
Commander Riggor: Boys, this no time for fun, what way could you possibly help?
Issac: Well as Cadets we could sneak in without the enemy knowing we're there and find out what they're up to.
One of the generals sat back and thought about Issac's idea and decided to comment on it.
General: You know Commander, that's not a bad idea at all. If they were able to get that close without them being seen, who knows how close we can get to finding out what Serita is up to.
Commander Riggor: You do make an excellent point there, but it just sounds too risky.
Issac: Come on Commander give us a chance, how else are we going to prove our worth at being Delta Patrol ready?
Commander Riggor thought about it for a few minutes and then made his decision.
Commander Riggor: Alright, this'll be your first mission, you can allow any room for errors. Gather a small team of cadets and meet back here in my office for briefing.
Issac: Yes, sir.
Commander Riggor: Cadets dismissed!!
Issac and Devon raced out of the Commander's office to tell the others the great news.
(Scene Two-Oceania City-Construction Dig Site)
Back at the construction dig site we enter the large cave entrance to find Tigras all over the place with looked to be large laser drills straped to their backs. They were firing laser beams into rock chunks trying to locate the sacred Aqua Crystals. Suddenly through the entracne a large creature wearing a dark purple battle armor, holding a large broadsword in his hands, came walking among the Tigras. The creature looked to be mixed of a great white shark and a hulk looking humanoid; this was General Sharkton, Serita's second in command and general of her fighting forces.
General Sharkton: That's right Tigras, keep digging until you find what we're looking for. The Empress want those crystals found immediately.
Each Tigra agreed in obedience to carry out their important assignment. General Sharkton walked back outside of the cave. Beside the entrace a burst of yellow and green flames erupted spewing up a visual of Empress Serita herself. The image looked intently at General Sharkton and began speaking.
Empress Serita: General Sharkton, how goes finding the Aqua Crystals?
General Sharkton: Empress, every Tigra is laser drilling through rock formations there is. We shall not rest until those crystals are in your possession.
Empress Serita: I'm trusting you to see that they are.
The image disappears in the flames and the fire dies out. General Sharkton turns and laughs out loud manically.
General Sharkton: Soon, Empress Serita will be ruler supreme once again.
(Scene Three-Delta Patrol Academy)
Issac and Devon had made back to the Academy Dorms to find Synthia, Barry, and Kelli in the Recreation Hall. Kelli was studying for her next exam, Synthia was training some fighting moves, and Barry was working on another gadget for the Delta Patrollers.
Issac: Guys, you won't believe what just happened to us just now.
Synthia: Let me guess, you got caught getting into trouble with the Commander and he has grounded you both to your dorm rooms.
Devon: Wrong, smartalic.
Issac: We have been given our first assignment as cadets.
Kelli: What do you mean, given our first assignments?
Devon: Issac and I spotted some Tigras out in a construction dig site. Commander Riggor wants us to investigate and find out what they're up to.
Barry: Are you crazy? We're not ready to become patrollers yet.
Issac: Come on guys, don't be a bunch of tadpoles. You're to become Delta Patrollers, why not show Commander Riggor that the training we have been given is going to good use?
Synthia: I don't know about this.
Devon: What's to worry about, Issac and I were able to spy on them without them even knowing that we were there. All we're being asked to do is spy on them some more and just find out what they're up to.
Kelli: Well if that's all we're doing, then I guess I'll go along with it.
Synthia: I have always wanted to become a Delta Patroller. This just might give me a chance to put my training into some good use.
Barry: Okay, I guess my new inventions could use some testing on the field.
Issac: Good, get your gear on and meet us at Commander Riggor's office in 20 minutes.
Devon and Issac race out of the Hall to their rooms to get their things ready for their first mission.
A few minutes later we see the outside of the Delta Patrol Academy. To the side of the building a large hatch opens on the ground and out of it a ramp extends out. Shooting up out of it comes a silver and blue hummer jeep. On the sides in navy blue letters reads A.P.D., inside we find the five cadets in what look to be silver and navy blue patrol uniforms. Synthia is in the driver's seat, Issac in the passenger, Barry and Kelli in the two back seats, and Devon sitting on the back seat. The cadets zoom out of the front gates that lead out to the open highway.
(Scene Four-Serita's Palace)
Inside Serita's throne room, we find her and Dr. Octo at a table with a replica of the domed city of Oceania City. Around the city on the table were small figures representing her army preparing to overtake the city.
Empress Serita: Just think of it Octo, with the power of the Aqua Crystals, I shall have enough power and might to blow Tridon and his army out of the four seas of OceaniaV5.
Dr. Octo: Yes Empress, to reclaim your place as rightful ruler over the planet.
Empress Serita: Total power is within my grasp and nothing shall get in my way.
Just then Serita touched the side of head, she began staring off into the distance and then regained her composure. The way Serita looked puzzled Dr. Octor.
Dr. Octo: My Empress, is there something that troubles you?
Empress Serita: Someones approaching the area where the Tigras are digging. It feels like someone that wants to meddle.
Serita quickly went back and sat on her throne turning it around towards the wall. She held out her staff and fired a faint beam of energy into the wall causing her viewing screen to appear. On the screen she could see the hummer jeep of the cadets pulled up next to the construction site. She aso saw them sneaking towards the area where the Tigras were searching for the crystals.
Empress Serita: What! Those rodents from the law enforcement is sneaking around the area. I must not let them stumble on to my plans of capturing the Aqua Crystals. Octo, inform General Sharkton of the situation and have him take care of the problem.
Dr. Octo: Yes your majesty, I am on my way.
Dr. Octo quickly floated out the door of the throne room heading for his laboratory. Serita's throne turned back around with her growling under breath.
Empress Serita: Nothing shall stand in my way of taking Oceania City back.
(Scene Five-Oceania City-Construction Dig Site)
The cadets arrive to the site and park the hummer a few feet away from the site. They quietly make their way into the site and over towards the large construction hole that leads to the cave. Barry brought his tracking thermo scanner to track how many Tigras were on the site.
Synthia: Barry, how many does your scanner say is in the area?
Barry: Be careful guys, the scanner reads that there are about four Tigras guarding the post just in front of us.
Issac: Guys, take out your patrol pistols and turn them to stun mode. We don't want to make any noises that would draw attention.
There were four columns standing in the middle of the site and behind each of themod a Tigra with a trident in his hand. As each cadet made their way behind the Tigras, each tapped their own Tigra on the shouulder causing it to turn. Before the Tigras had a chance they were blasted to the ground landing to the ground stunned and unconcious.
Kelli: That was simple enough.
Devon: I just hope all the rest of them are like that.
They made their way down a small elevator cart to the bottom of the crater. Making their way slowly towards the cave entrance, they kept their eyes peeled to e sure that they weren't walking into a trap. Barry looked at his scanner and couldn't bring up a trace of anymore Tigras.
Barry: This is strange, my scanner says that there aren't anymore Tigras in the area.
Issac: That's impossible, we saw a whole gang of them them earlier today and some shark goon.
Barry: Well, maybe they left when they found what they were looking for.
Just then shafts of light started pouring down upon the cadets below in the crater. As they looked up they saw a whole team of Tigras start appearing out of nowhere. Barry's thermo scanner was reading off the chart.
Barry: No wonder I couldn't sense them, they were cloaked and my scanner can pick up anything that's cloaked.
Synthia: This is just great, our first mission and we fall right into a trap.
A large figure appeared above on the ledge, it was General Sharkton. Issac and Devon looked up and saw him and recgonized immediately who he was.
Issac: Guys that's the creep we told you we saw.
Kelli: He is one ugly shark creature.
Devon: I know, looking at something like that would give great white sharks a bad name.
General Sharkton: Welcome, humans, I see you have been spying us out without permission.
Issac: We don't need permission, we know you're with Empress Serita, and that you're up to something against the people of Oceania City.
General Sharkton: Smart ones, are you? Let's see what happens when you're not alive to report back.
General Sharkton drew his broadsword and ignited it with light flames. Pointing the blade towards the cadets below, Sharkton unleashes a barrage of flamming spears that blast the ground around the cadets, throwing them to the ground. Soon Tigras are seen jumping down into the crater and swarming towards them.
Devon: There's too many of them to fight off.
Synthia: They're covering the sides of the wall we can't make it out.
Issac: Come on everyone head inside the cave, maybe we can lose them inside.
They all quickly got up and raced into the cave entrance with a whole horde of Tigras close on them.
(Commercials)
(Opening Credits)- Soft Rock Music
A speeded view takes us from outer space, looking over OceaniaV5, through the planet's atmosphere, under the surface of the water, towards the top of a domed city. Inside we see a silver and blue Hummer racing through the streets with the silver letters of APD on the sides. The Hummer runs into the camera bringing up the logo Power Rangers A.P.D.
The next scene comes up showing the Pink Aqua Ranger standing on a rotating platform with her arms folded in front of her, right beside her is a holographic form of a Caucasian female, with long black hair, wearing a pink shirt and a black skirt with her arms also folded. A pink caption below reads "Kristen Kruek as Synthia", in the background is a scene of the Pink Ranger leaping over a group of Tigras and blasting them with her blaster weapon.

Scenes go by showing Commander Riggor, Empress Serita, General Sharkton, and many monsters fighting the rangers. The camera shows a distant shot of Oceania City as a shark swims by swishing bubbles bringing up the logo Power Rangers A.P.D.
(Title-Protect and Serve Pt. 1)
(Act One-Scene One-Delta Patrol Academy)
We hover over the waters of the planet of OceaniaV5, admiring the peaceful atmoshphere, until we plung under its surface and head down to the bottom where we find the domed metropolis of Oceania CIty. The tall skyscrapers dot its landscape as well as the myriad of highway systems. We can see hover cars traveling through out the city. Different people are seen walking along elevated walkways to and from their points of desitination. Our focus takes us to a fairly large building sitting on the outskirts of the domed city. On the front of the steeled building, in silver blue letters, are the words "Delta Patrol Academy".
Inside the Academy we find different young men and women in the hallway proceeding to their next classes. They all wore uniforms of navy blue and black pants with a patch on the backside of their shirts that read "Cadets". Our view takes up a flight of stairs to the floor where the Cadets' sleeping quarters are. We can hear some rock music coming out of one of the rooms. As other Cadets pass by they can't believe that the music was loud enough to be heard out in the halls. We entre the room to find a total mess with clothes strewn everywhere, beds unmade, posters of female swimsuit models hanging up. At a table in the center of the room we find two African American males sitting looking through class training books. They each had on their uniform with the words "Cadets" on the back, but on the front on the left side was their name.
One of the boys was reading a Criminal Psychology book, his name was Issac Benton. Next to him the other boy was looking through a Marine Biology book, his name was Devon Gregory. They hadn't noticed that they were late for their next classes, even though they had set an alarm clock to remind them.
Issac: Man this test on the criminal mindset is starting to drain me out.
Devon: I know what you mean.
Issac started to stretch and saw a blue colored flyer sitting on his unmade bed. He reached over and grabbed it and started looking over it.
Issac: Hey, I forgot about this Grand Openning Bash, it's suppose to be tonight. You think you might want to swing by there later on tonight and check it out?
Issac has asked Devon knowing that he and Devon did a lot of things together. They had been buddies ever since Devon and his family moved to OceaniaV5 from Earth.
Devon: Sounds like something I'm definiately into.
Just then there came a knock on the door. Issac barely heard it. Turning down the stereo he went to the door and opened it partially. When he looked out and saw who it was he quickly closed it.
Standing on the opposite side of the door was a tall stout gentleman. He was a Caucasian male with short brown hair, wearing a dark navy blue uniform with four gold bars on his shoulders. On his name plate read the words "Commander Stephen Riggor". He stood at the door with his arms behind his back waiting for the door to open. Inside he could hear both the boys trying to straighten up. Minutes later the door finally opened with Issac standing in the doorway.
Issac: Commander Riggor, it's so nice of you to stop by today to our humble sleeping quarters.
Commander Riggoer: You can stop with trying to butter me up Cadet Benton, I have received another complaint about the music in this room being loud again. What did we discuss about the volume level of the music in this building?
Command Riggor wasn't trying to be rough, but needed the boys to understand that if they were going to be Delta Patrollers they would have to obey certain rules and regulations.
Issac: That all music of any kind must be played to the level where only the occupants can hear it and not ones outside the occupant's sleeping quarters.
Commander Riggor: That is correct, Cadet Benton. I don't ever want to have to remind you two again, is that understood?"
Both: Yes, sir.
Commander Riggor: Good, now I have another question that I wish to ask. Are you both cleared of classes today?
The boys looked at their alarm clock and saw that it was an hour past time that classes had started. They quickly rushed through the room, grabbed their books and bookbags and rushed past the Commander and headed down the halls. Commander Riggor couldn't believe those two, but he knew it would one day pay off.
(Scene Two-Serita's Palace)
Traveling along the ocean floor away from Oceania City we make our way into a dark mountain range. In the crevice of the mountains we find a black marble colored palace situated neatly between two mountain peaks. Inside we find tall tigershark men, colored orange with black stripes, and carrying long trident spears, marching through the palace halls; these were Tigras, they were tireless footsoldiers that fought hard in battle.
Heading down the main hall, we enter a large throneroom through two black pearl doors that slide apart to open. As we enter in we find a black crystal throne sitting in the midst of the room turned towards the wall. On that wall we can see a screen turned on showing a visual of Tigras battling again men in light blue and green armor; the Tigras are being defeated. We soon see a Tigra running to the side of the throne where we can see someone was sitting upon it. They lean towards the person in the throne whispering something in their ear. Whatever it was it didn't make the person happy one bit.
Figure: What? Another troop of Tigras were defeated in the Kyro Sector?
The Tigra nods in response to the person's question. The figure waves the Tigra away and it swiftly obeys the command. Soon the crystal throne spins around, somehow shutting off the viewing screen on the wall, and reveals a tall female being wearing a black dress that had a long black train. The person didn't have a distinguishing facial feature other than that of a masked face with black lipstick and black eyes; this was the infamous sea sorceress named Empress Serita.
Empress Serita: I can't believe that my forces have failed me again to the hands of that wretched King Tridon. There's got to be a way to defeat him, but what?
Just then the black pearl doors to the throne room slid open and in floated a rather large creature that was top half human and bottom half octopus. He wore a white lab coat and carried a clipboard with him; this was Serita's scientific master mind, Dr. Octo.
Dr. Octo: My empress, I believe I may have a way that you can increase the powers of your army and finally defeat that King Tridon once and for all.
Empress Serita: Ah Dr. Octo, you have advised me on many scientific endeavors in the past.
She spoke in a sweet voice, but everything changed when she raised her hands towards him and released energy bolts from her fingers grabbing Dr. Octo by the throat.
Empress Serita: All of them were failures, all of them costed me a victory, and all of them are reasons that I'm not queen of Oceania City!!
Dr. Octo struggled to breathe and speak.
Dr. Octo: I...understand my queen...but I may have....something that may.....bring about a different....result.
Empress Serita: What could that possibly be?
Dr. Octo: Haven't you heard....of the infamous....Aqua Crystals?
Serita finally released him to fall to the floor.
Empress Serita: Yes I've heard of them. They're said to be five powerful crystal orbs, with the strongest power in the galaxy. What does that have to do with anything?
Dr. Octo: I believe I may....I may have discovered their location. According to the read out that I've received they are located in an underground cavern in the middle of Oceania City.
The news caused Serita to sit back on her throne and start rubbing her long nailed hands together.
Empress Serita: With my hands on those crystals, I could power up my army strong enough to defeat Tridon and his army and reclaim Oceania City.
Serita laughed gleefully with the thought of obtaining the Aqua Crystals.
Empress Serita: Dr. Octo inform General Sharkton to take an army of Tigras with him to Oceania City and find those crystals.
Dr. Octo: Yes empress, your command shall be obeyed.
Octo bowed before his queen before floating out of the throne room.
Empress Serita: Soon Tridon, I shall reclaim what is rightfully mine and I shall watch you suffer for what you did to me.
Serita snarled and laughed as her crystal throne turned back around from view.
(Scene Three-Delta Patrol Academy)
It was another long day at the Academy and mostly everyone was either in class or they were in study period. In the courtyard we find many students hanging out either studying or just talking with friends and classmates. We find Issac and Devon sitting at a table with three other Cadets. One was a Caucasian male with short blonde hair, he was working on a small blaster weapon; his name was Barry. Sitting next to him were two female Cadets, one was a Latino female with long brown hair, she was looking in her Cadet Code book, her name was Kelli, next to her was a Caucasian female with long flowing black hair, she was looking through her Planet History book, her name was Synthia.
Synthia:So, I see you guys decided to show up for class after all. We were starting to think you weren't going to make it at all."
Isac: Hey, it was a mistake on our part that we promised Commander Riggor to defer from.
Kelli: You guys, when are you going to take it seriously that we're here for a purpose and not to play around? For the Commander to come down means that it was way serious."
Devon: You're right, we should take it seriously.
Issac: So, whose going to the Tidal Wave's Grand Opening Bash Today?
Snythia: Issac, did you not hear anything that was just said?
Issac: Of course I did, and it was taken seriously, but I was just asking if anyone was going to the party today.
Kelli: How can you even think about going to a party, when you know you have a midterm coming up in Marine Biology? Don't even think about looking to Devon helping you.
Issac: Why not, we're roommates.
Snythia: You can't always count on each other to help the other person out. There's going to come a time when you're going to have to rely on yourself.
Kelli: Synthia's right, you've got to think about what's more important.
Issac: It's not going to hurt you to have a little fun.
Kelli: Well, you can count me out.
Synthia: The same goes for me too.
Issac: What about you Barry, you want to come with us?
Barry was too busy working on a Delta Patrol Blaster to even pay attention. He finally looked up to respond to Issac's question.
Barry: Huh, oh I can't make it either. I've got so much stuff to work on right now that it won't merit the time.
Issac: Well Devon and I are going. We're leaving right after the last training class.
Synthia: You guys go ahead and have your fun, but it's going to come back to bite you in the end.
Devon: Whatever.
The boys grab their bookbags and head back into the building. The girls just watch them shaking their heads, wondering whether the boys are committed to being Delta Patrollers at all or not.
(Scene Four-Downtown Oceania City)
Racing over the tops of the Oceania City skyline we look down upon a major highway system with hover cars rushing back and forth. In the midst of the hustle and bustle we find a black hover jeep crusing across the pavement. Inside were Issac and Devon wearing their regular clothes. Issac was wearing a red and white shirt and blue jeans, Devon was wearing a blue fitted shirt and black pants.
Issac: Man, I heard this party was going to be off the chain.
Devon: It better be for what they're charging to get in this place. It's ridiculous to have to pay $12 to get into a party.
Issac: You know what they say, if it costs then it must be worth something.
Devon: You do make an interesting point there my friend.
The boys continued down the highway heading towards the new hang out spot in Oceania City, called The Tidal Wave. We crisscross the city and hover over a construction digging site. The sign outside the site reveals that there was to be a new highrise condo built there. A hole was formed there by the construction company in order to form the condo's foundation, but now there were Tigras walking around in it. Leading the Tigras was a large humanoid Great White Shark creature that wore a bluish gray armor with two Saber handles connected to both his sides; this was Empress Serita's army general and 2nd in command, General Sharkton.
General Sharkton: Alright troops, we have been commanded by the empress to search out and find the legendary Aqua Crystals. We shall not rest until they are found is that understood?
All the Tigras stand at attention and salute as response to Sharkton's commands. They all begin to proceed into a small cave entrance in the side of the foundation.
A few yards away on a street passing by we see Issacs hover jeep passing.
Devon: Now Issac, I didn't want to bring this up, but I hope you don't that sily looking dance move at the party that you love to do.
Issac: What do you mean, silly dance move?
Devon: You know that move that you claim your cousin taught you.
Issac: You're talking about the OC Hop?
Devon: The very one, don't even try to do that one.
Issac: Why you hatin'?
Devon: I don't hate, but when it comes to silly looking dances like yours those I don't congradulate either.
Just as they were passing the construction site Devon caught sight of a Tigra.
Devon: Hey man pull over.
Issac: What do you mean pull over, we're almost to the party.
Devon: Dude I think I just saw one of those things that Mr. Tuttle talked about.
Issac: Which was?
Devon: I think he said a Tigra.
Issac: You've got to have been mistaken. Why would a Tigra be caught here in Oceania City?
Devon: I don't know, but they're in that construction site. I believe as Cadets of the Delta Patrol we should investigate this. Besides it would get Commander Riggor off our backs.
Issac brought his hover jeep to a screeching halt.
Issac: I'm for anything that could get that man off my back.
The two boys slowly made their way through the construction site towards the edge of the foundation base. As they looked over the edge they could see a few Tigras and General Sharkton preparing to enter the cave entrance. They could overhear some of what they were saying.
General Sharkton: We must not fail the Empress, we must find those Aqua Crystals. Once she has them she will be able to defeat King Tridon once and for all. She will then be in total control of Oceania City and be able to rule OceaniaV5 as she see fit.
The boys couldn't believe what they had just heard.
Devon: We've got to get back and inform Riggor.
Issac: What about the party?
Devon: What's more important, the lives of over 10,000 Oceanians or some party?
Issac stood there for a few seconds with his hands under his chin. Devon slapped him in the back of the head.
Devon: Issac.
Issac: I was thinking, alright you're right, let's get back.
They quickly raced back to the hover jeep without any of the Tigras or Sharkton knowing that they were there. The boys drove off heading back to Delta Patrol Academy.
(Commercials)
(Act Two-Scene One-Delta Patrol Academy)
Inside Commander Riggor's office personnel officers were busy working. Some of them were working linguistic information on computers, others were going over war plans in lue of another attack from Empress Serita's forces. A few minutes later and we see both Devon and Issac come walking through the door heading towards the Commander's secretary's desk. The secretary was an African American female with long black hair, wearing a navy blue naval uniform. As the boys approached her, she looked up them with a serious tone.
Secretary: Well, Issac, I see you're back in the Commander's office again. What did you do this time?
Issac: Trust me Ms. Barrick, I'm not in trouble this time. There's something that I must tell Commander Riggor.
Secretary: I'm sorry, but he's busy at the moment talking with some of the generals. Can't it wait until later?
Issac: No ma'am, what we've seen today won't wait. In fact it's a matter of life and death concerning the people of the city.
Secretary: Well what did you see?
Devon: We were heading through the city by a construction dig site. We saw some Tigras and some kind of shark creep heading inside one of the dig site caves.
Secretary: Oh my, you boys wait right here.
Secretary Barricks quickly got up and knocked on the Commander's door. Slowly opening it she peered inside the room where the Commander was seated behind his desk speaking with his top military generals.
Commander Riggor: Ms. Barricks, I made it clear that we are not to be disturbed.
Secretary: I know Commander, but it is urgent that concerns everyone in this room.
Command Riggor: What is it?
Secretary Barricks brought the two boys in, the Commander at first thought it was about a disciplinary action.
Command Riggor: I don't have time for this, what have you boys done this time?
Devon: Commander its nothing we done, it's what we've seen in the city.
Commander Riggor: What was it?
Issac: We spotted a gang of Tigras and a shark creature in at a construction dig site going into a cave.
Commander Riggor: Tigras, in the city? You said you saw some kind of shark creature, did he look like a great white shark?
Issac and Devon: Yeah!!
Commander Riggor: General Sharkton. Thanks boys for that information.
Issac: Commander, can't we help in some way?
Commander Riggor: Boys, this no time for fun, what way could you possibly help?
Issac: Well as Cadets we could sneak in without the enemy knowing we're there and find out what they're up to.
One of the generals sat back and thought about Issac's idea and decided to comment on it.
General: You know Commander, that's not a bad idea at all. If they were able to get that close without them being seen, who knows how close we can get to finding out what Serita is up to.
Commander Riggor: You do make an excellent point there, but it just sounds too risky.
Issac: Come on Commander give us a chance, how else are we going to prove our worth at being Delta Patrol ready?
Commander Riggor thought about it for a few minutes and then made his decision.
Commander Riggor: Alright, this'll be your first mission, you can allow any room for errors. Gather a small team of cadets and meet back here in my office for briefing.
Issac: Yes, sir.
Commander Riggor: Cadets dismissed!!
Issac and Devon raced out of the Commander's office to tell the others the great news.
(Scene Two-Oceania City-Construction Dig Site)
Back at the construction dig site we enter the large cave entrance to find Tigras all over the place with looked to be large laser drills straped to their backs. They were firing laser beams into rock chunks trying to locate the sacred Aqua Crystals. Suddenly through the entracne a large creature wearing a dark purple battle armor, holding a large broadsword in his hands, came walking among the Tigras. The creature looked to be mixed of a great white shark and a hulk looking humanoid; this was General Sharkton, Serita's second in command and general of her fighting forces.
General Sharkton: That's right Tigras, keep digging until you find what we're looking for. The Empress want those crystals found immediately.
Each Tigra agreed in obedience to carry out their important assignment. General Sharkton walked back outside of the cave. Beside the entrace a burst of yellow and green flames erupted spewing up a visual of Empress Serita herself. The image looked intently at General Sharkton and began speaking.
Empress Serita: General Sharkton, how goes finding the Aqua Crystals?
General Sharkton: Empress, every Tigra is laser drilling through rock formations there is. We shall not rest until those crystals are in your possession.
Empress Serita: I'm trusting you to see that they are.
The image disappears in the flames and the fire dies out. General Sharkton turns and laughs out loud manically.
General Sharkton: Soon, Empress Serita will be ruler supreme once again.
(Scene Three-Delta Patrol Academy)
Issac and Devon had made back to the Academy Dorms to find Synthia, Barry, and Kelli in the Recreation Hall. Kelli was studying for her next exam, Synthia was training some fighting moves, and Barry was working on another gadget for the Delta Patrollers.
Issac: Guys, you won't believe what just happened to us just now.
Synthia: Let me guess, you got caught getting into trouble with the Commander and he has grounded you both to your dorm rooms.
Devon: Wrong, smartalic.
Issac: We have been given our first assignment as cadets.
Kelli: What do you mean, given our first assignments?
Devon: Issac and I spotted some Tigras out in a construction dig site. Commander Riggor wants us to investigate and find out what they're up to.
Barry: Are you crazy? We're not ready to become patrollers yet.
Issac: Come on guys, don't be a bunch of tadpoles. You're to become Delta Patrollers, why not show Commander Riggor that the training we have been given is going to good use?
Synthia: I don't know about this.
Devon: What's to worry about, Issac and I were able to spy on them without them even knowing that we were there. All we're being asked to do is spy on them some more and just find out what they're up to.
Kelli: Well if that's all we're doing, then I guess I'll go along with it.
Synthia: I have always wanted to become a Delta Patroller. This just might give me a chance to put my training into some good use.
Barry: Okay, I guess my new inventions could use some testing on the field.
Issac: Good, get your gear on and meet us at Commander Riggor's office in 20 minutes.
Devon and Issac race out of the Hall to their rooms to get their things ready for their first mission.
A few minutes later we see the outside of the Delta Patrol Academy. To the side of the building a large hatch opens on the ground and out of it a ramp extends out. Shooting up out of it comes a silver and blue hummer jeep. On the sides in navy blue letters reads A.P.D., inside we find the five cadets in what look to be silver and navy blue patrol uniforms. Synthia is in the driver's seat, Issac in the passenger, Barry and Kelli in the two back seats, and Devon sitting on the back seat. The cadets zoom out of the front gates that lead out to the open highway.
(Scene Four-Serita's Palace)
Inside Serita's throne room, we find her and Dr. Octo at a table with a replica of the domed city of Oceania City. Around the city on the table were small figures representing her army preparing to overtake the city.
Empress Serita: Just think of it Octo, with the power of the Aqua Crystals, I shall have enough power and might to blow Tridon and his army out of the four seas of OceaniaV5.
Dr. Octo: Yes Empress, to reclaim your place as rightful ruler over the planet.
Empress Serita: Total power is within my grasp and nothing shall get in my way.
Just then Serita touched the side of head, she began staring off into the distance and then regained her composure. The way Serita looked puzzled Dr. Octor.
Dr. Octo: My Empress, is there something that troubles you?
Empress Serita: Someones approaching the area where the Tigras are digging. It feels like someone that wants to meddle.
Serita quickly went back and sat on her throne turning it around towards the wall. She held out her staff and fired a faint beam of energy into the wall causing her viewing screen to appear. On the screen she could see the hummer jeep of the cadets pulled up next to the construction site. She aso saw them sneaking towards the area where the Tigras were searching for the crystals.
Empress Serita: What! Those rodents from the law enforcement is sneaking around the area. I must not let them stumble on to my plans of capturing the Aqua Crystals. Octo, inform General Sharkton of the situation and have him take care of the problem.
Dr. Octo: Yes your majesty, I am on my way.
Dr. Octo quickly floated out the door of the throne room heading for his laboratory. Serita's throne turned back around with her growling under breath.
Empress Serita: Nothing shall stand in my way of taking Oceania City back.
(Scene Five-Oceania City-Construction Dig Site)
The cadets arrive to the site and park the hummer a few feet away from the site. They quietly make their way into the site and over towards the large construction hole that leads to the cave. Barry brought his tracking thermo scanner to track how many Tigras were on the site.
Synthia: Barry, how many does your scanner say is in the area?
Barry: Be careful guys, the scanner reads that there are about four Tigras guarding the post just in front of us.
Issac: Guys, take out your patrol pistols and turn them to stun mode. We don't want to make any noises that would draw attention.
There were four columns standing in the middle of the site and behind each of themod a Tigra with a trident in his hand. As each cadet made their way behind the Tigras, each tapped their own Tigra on the shouulder causing it to turn. Before the Tigras had a chance they were blasted to the ground landing to the ground stunned and unconcious.
Kelli: That was simple enough.
Devon: I just hope all the rest of them are like that.
They made their way down a small elevator cart to the bottom of the crater. Making their way slowly towards the cave entrance, they kept their eyes peeled to e sure that they weren't walking into a trap. Barry looked at his scanner and couldn't bring up a trace of anymore Tigras.
Barry: This is strange, my scanner says that there aren't anymore Tigras in the area.
Issac: That's impossible, we saw a whole gang of them them earlier today and some shark goon.
Barry: Well, maybe they left when they found what they were looking for.
Just then shafts of light started pouring down upon the cadets below in the crater. As they looked up they saw a whole team of Tigras start appearing out of nowhere. Barry's thermo scanner was reading off the chart.
Barry: No wonder I couldn't sense them, they were cloaked and my scanner can pick up anything that's cloaked.
Synthia: This is just great, our first mission and we fall right into a trap.
A large figure appeared above on the ledge, it was General Sharkton. Issac and Devon looked up and saw him and recgonized immediately who he was.
Issac: Guys that's the creep we told you we saw.
Kelli: He is one ugly shark creature.
Devon: I know, looking at something like that would give great white sharks a bad name.
General Sharkton: Welcome, humans, I see you have been spying us out without permission.
Issac: We don't need permission, we know you're with Empress Serita, and that you're up to something against the people of Oceania City.
General Sharkton: Smart ones, are you? Let's see what happens when you're not alive to report back.
General Sharkton drew his broadsword and ignited it with light flames. Pointing the blade towards the cadets below, Sharkton unleashes a barrage of flamming spears that blast the ground around the cadets, throwing them to the ground. Soon Tigras are seen jumping down into the crater and swarming towards them.
Devon: There's too many of them to fight off.
Synthia: They're covering the sides of the wall we can't make it out.
Issac: Come on everyone head inside the cave, maybe we can lose them inside.
They all quickly got up and raced into the cave entrance with a whole horde of Tigras close on them.
(Commercials)
