Chance Encounters (Super Sentai World PR style)

Ok, this is sort of like a "Super Sentai World" PR style. Five teams, one massive battle. I will use the Aquitarian, Zeo, Turbo (robo-rangers of Eltar), Space, and Galaxy rangers vs. the Machine Empire (Gasket, the FR generals, and the Pycho Rangers). Enjoy

Author’s note: This takes place just before the events that led to Terra Venture being thrown into the lost Galaxy, and just after the events leading to Karone becoming the pink Galaxy ranger

Act one: Evil Rising

Deep in Space

The Scorpion Stinger glided silently though space, nearly invisible to an untrained eye.

But Gasket’s was not an untrained eye. Three huge Gearships quickly outraced the Stinger, and opened fire.

Onboard the Singer, Trakeena grabbed onto the wall, trying to keep standing while her vessel shook.

“What’s happening?” she asked.

Deviot looked over the scanners “We’re under attack!”

“From who?!”

“Machine Gearships!” he replied, panicking “Three of them!”

Gasket would have smiled had his jaw mechanism allowed him to do it. Everything was going according to plan.

“Their shields are down” Vinjix reported.

“Excelent” said Gasket “Send in the Cogs. I want those cards”

“Of course, King Gasket” replied the black android.

A rather large group of Cogs materialized on the Scorpion Stinger, led by Vinjix himself.

“Quickly” he ordered “Find those cards. King Gasket wants them!”

The Cogs obeyed, and began their search. They where stopped short, however, by the defending Sting Wingers.

“Get them!” shouted Vilimax “Do not them get near Trakeena!”

A vicious battle ensued, as the two sides of grunts attacked, taking no prisoners.

“Out of my way” said Vinjix.

Vilimax said nothing, but instead charged at the machine general. The two clashed swords as they met. Then a second clash. And a third one. Then Vinjix got bored. He fired a laser blast from his wrist gun at Vilimax, who was unprepared. Sparks flew out of the warrior as he landed on the floor.

“Foolish” said the general simply. He walked past the battle scene, and entered what seemed to be the science chamber. In the middle of the room was a computer console. On it was a slot.

“Excelent” he said to himself. Vinjix pressed the button next to it, and five greenish plastic cards popped out. The evil general took the cards, and teleported out, taking his Cogs with him.

Aquitar

It was cloudy. Not raining, but almost to that point.

On one of Aquitar’s few landmasses, a small army of Cogs quietly prepared some sort of device. The only sounds that could be heard where the gear grinding of Cogs moving and the sounds of metal hitting metal by nail and hammer.

Unknownst to them, five heroes where watching from a distance.

“What are they building?” Cestro, the blue Aquitar ranger asked.

“I’m not sure” replied Tideus, the yellow ranger “It looks like some sort of sensor array”

Aurico, the red ranger wasn’t satisfied “But why would they build a simple sensor array here?”

“I don’t know” said Delphine, who wore white “Perhaps we should go “ask them”” she prepared to morph, as did the others “Its Morphin Time!”

“Alien Aquitar Ranger Power!” they all shouted in unison, as multi-colored spandex suits covered their bodies.

The five raced to the scene, silent as the wind.

“Hyiah!” they shouted, as each one flipped over head the enemy forces, landing only a few feet away.

“This is private property” said Aurico “I’d leave if I where you”

The two generals leading the Cogs turned around. One was all white. Delphine recognized her as Tezzela. The other was mostly green. Gerrok.

“I don’t think so” said Gerrok “Cogs, show our visitors the way out”

Several of the Cogs ceased working on the sensor array, and turned to attack the five rangers.

“Ready?” asked Delphine. The others nodded “Good, now let’s do it!”

Gasket’s Ship

Gasket held the cards in his hands. Finally, after over a year of searching, he had found them.

“If I may pose a question” said Queen Arachnia.

“Yes?” asked Gasket, still studying the cards.

“How will those work? The Psycho Rangers where already destroyed”

“An excellent question” Gasket replied “It’s quite simple really. When the Psycho rangers where first trapped into these cards, they where “uploaded” into the cards. Each time they are “downloaded” back into our universe, the data still remains in the card. And there you have it, Psycho Rangers. However…only one of each can exist at one time, due to their massive energy output”

“Brilliant” she replied in agreement “But how do the sensor arrays on the different planets fit into this plan?”

“You shall see” Gasket chuckled “You shall see…” he returned to his work, and began placing the cards into the slot on his bridge’s computer consol…

Aquitar

Delphine jumped into the middle of a group of Cogs. She sent out a spin kick, and knocked every last one to the ground. However, she was sent to the ground by a hit from Tezzela as she got back up.

“Take that, bitch” Tezzela grabbed the white Aquitarian ranger by her shoulder, and threw her several feet away.

Dazed, Delphine grabbed her saber and got back up, waiting for the evil machine’s next attack…

Aurico wasn’t doing much better against Gerrok. He managed to block a few attacks initially, but the green machine general was more then a match for the red Aquitarian ranger. He locked Aurico with his green wrist pincers, and shot painful electrical currents streaming though the red ranger’s vulnerable aquatic body. Gerrok let go, and Aurico fell to the ground, limp.

The others, meanwhile, where overwhelmed with Cogs. As each one tried to get in closer to the device, more and more enemy troops intercepted them and kept the Aquitarians at bay.

That was when a flash of gold shot down into the group of Cogs that had captured Cestro. The blue ranger looked around, searching for the origin of the blast.

“Gold Rush!” shouted a voice. Immediately, a gold blur flew blast, knocking Cogs everywhere to the ground. When the blur stopped, the gold ranger of Triforia appeared.

Both Tezzela and Gerrok turned their attention to the new attacker.

“You!” shouted Gerrok, pointing a finger at Trey. He remembered the files he read on the infamous gold ranger during his battles with King Mondo.

“Yep” said Trey “Me” he fired a series of gold laser blasts from his staff at the two generals, causing sparks to fly.

Then, suddenly, the sensor array came to life.

“No!” shouted Trey. He ran over to it, but a force field like substance shocked him and sent him flying into the air.

“You ok?” asked Delphine, her and the other three conscious rangers running over to him.

“Ya…” said Trey, getting up “I’m good”

Gerrok got up “Our job here is finished rangers” he teleported out, along with Tezzela and the Cogs.

“Aurico!” Tideus ran over to the red ranger’s limp body. The others followed.

“He needs water. Now” said the yellow ranger “I’ll go help him”

“Understood” said Delphine “We’ll take out the station”

“No way you can do that” Trey replied “Once the array is active, a resonator shield pops up around it. To take it out, we’d need an energy surge to go though the entire network of arrays. And if we did that, we would need Gasket to finish his plan. And we can’t let that happen”

“There has to be something we can do” said Delphine.

Trey shook his head “I’ve already tried with the one on Triforia. My scientists are still working on a way, but what I’ve already said is all we’ve got”

Delphine looked around “How many more arrays does Gasket need?”

“Five” said Trey “And he’s got four of them already. Eltar, Triforia, KO-35, and here on Aquitar”

“So the final one would be…” Cestro understood.

“Earth” Trey finished.

“We have to warn them” said Cestro.

“We will” Trey replied “I’ll head to Earth, and warn the Zeo rangers”

“We’ll come with you” said Delphine, pledging her support.

“No. The Space rangers are on their way here now. They are also investigating the sensor arrays. You’ll need to tell them what I’m going to tell you”

“And that would be…” Delphine sounded confused.

“Gasket’s plan. And trust me, it is bad. Very bad”

Gasket’s Ship

The Machine King pressed the button. Suddenly, several lights appeared in front of the computer consol. They formed into five humanoid life forms.

The Psycho Rangers where back.

Again.

Act two: The Gathering Storm

Eltar

The Phantom Ranger stumbled into his regeneration chamber. Just mere moments ago, he had failed to stop the Machine generals Steelon and Automon from activating some sort of invincible sensor array. Now heavily damaged, he stepped into the chamber, and closed it, waiting for the repair nanites to do their job.

“Alpha” he said, activating a tiny screen inside the pod he was in.

Alpha 5 appeared on the screen “Yes?”

“Activate the robo-rangers. I think we’re going to need them”

“Oh, of course. Don’t worry. I’ll have them activated immediately”

“Thanks Alpha” replied the Phantom Ranger. He then drifted off into a light nap.

Terra Venture

Leo entered his quarters and turned on the lights. It was late at night on Terra Venture, if it could be called night on a space station. Yawning, he basically fell into his seat and turned on the computer in his room, preparing to check his E-mails before going to bed.

There where three E-mails. One was spam, from some company wanting him to buy some piece of crap. The second one was the response to his E-mail the night before to Mike. He hadn’t seen him much recently due to his job, and was wondering if he’d be up for doing something when he got a moment’s peace. He’d look at that last, he decided.

The final E-mail was from someone whom Leo admired more than anyone else as his hero—except perhaps his brother.

It was from Andros.

Leo opened the file, and began reading.

Mega Winger

“I’ve noticed this ship was not meant to be used for long distance journeys” Andros said, smiling.

Zhane sat in the seat in his cockpit. He turned around to see Andros standing in the doorway.

“Ya…” the silver ranger said “I need to talk to the shipbuilders about that one, don’t I?”

“Boy do I miss the Megaship” Andros walked in, and leaned against the dashboard.

“Hey, the Megaship was good and all, but this sucker could fly circles around your Megaship” Zhane challenged.

Andros chuckled “Not if the Megaship blew a hole in it first”

“Ya, you just go one believing that” Zhane replied.

“How long?” asked Andros.

“Another few minutes” replied Zhane “We’ll be at Aquitar soon”

“Thanks”

“No problem”

“No” said Andros “I mean, thanks. For the whole trip. I’d have hated to take my Galaxy Glider on this trip”

Gasket’s ship

“Welcome, Psycho Rangers, to the Machine Empire’s flagship” Gasket said with open arms.

“Where is the red ranger?” asked Psycho Red “He will pay for what he has done”

“Do not worry” Gasket assured his new ally “You will soon be able to destroy as many red rangers as you want. In fact” he noticed Psycho Pink was about to ask the same question “You will all be able to destroy as many rangers as you wish. However, to do so, you must help me in my objective”

In orbit around Earth

Pyramadus entered Earth’s orbit, silently gliding over the Mesosphere. As Trey left the ship, he put its automated defenses on, just to make sure no one would board it.

He landed in Angel Grove, demorphed. People all around him where following their daily lives. And it was then that Trey realized he was going to have a rough time finding the Zeo rangers.

Aquitar

Aurico, slightly dizzy, stepped out of the emergency re-hydration chamber.

“What….happened?” he asked.

“You where dehydrated by Gerrok in the battle” Delphine replied.

“Delphine” Tidius walked over to her “The Mega Winger is now in orbit. The Space rangers are teleporting in now”

As he spoke, five young adults appeared in the room.

“Andros” Dephine nodded “I am Delphine, leader of the Aquitarian rangers” she extended a hand.

Andros shook her hand, and looked behind him “This is…”

“We know who you are” she smiled “Your reputation precedes you”

“As does yours” Andros smiled.

The Array

“Looks just like the one on KO-35” said TJ “Wonder what they’re for”

“It is all part of Gasket’s plan to bring back Dark Specter” said Delphine, remembering what Trey had told her “Five planets are planned to have these arrays. Eltar, KO-35, Aquitar, Triforia, and Earth. Earth is still the only one to yet have its array built”

“What will the arrays do?” asked Ashley.

“In space, Earth, Triforia, and Aquitar make up a triangle. KO-35 and Eltar add to that triangle…”

“…Making a pentagon” TJ finished “Hell”

“Dark Specter more like” said Andros “How does he intend to bring back Dark Specter though?”

Delphine continued “Gasket has recently acquired the Psycho Ranger cards. As you know, studies based off the Psycho Ranger makeup revealed that they where designed to suck off power from the original Dark Specter. The Current Psycho rangers, together, have the power to combine and form a new Dark Specter. That is, if he can get the pentagon energy surge working”

“Oh my god” said Cassie, holding her hands over her mouth “its going to start all over again”

“No” said Andros “Its not. We’re going to take out that last array before its ready, understand?”

“Trey is already in the process of contacting the Zeo rangers. And we have already heard from the Phantom Ranger on Eltar. He has activated the robo-rangers”

Andros thought for a minute “Five Psycho rangers, an army of Cogs, and the threat of Dark Specter returning”

“Not to mention Gasket’s probably got some body guards with him” Carlos added.

“His generals” agreed Delphine

“Looks like I’ll be sending Leo another E-mail” Andros said.

“That would probably be wise” said Aurico.

TJ’s eyes got wide as he realized what this meant “This would be the biggest gathering of Power Rangers…ever!”

“Five ranger teams…” Cassie counted “Your right”

“Lets get back to the ship” said Zhane “We all need to get to Earth, NOW”

Hey there. I was wondering if your colony had discovered any planets with any strange sensor arrays. If you could give us any information, it would be helpful.

Sorry, we haven’t seen anything, why? Is something going on?

Uh, actually, yes. Change of plans. We need you and the rest of your team to take the Megaship and head for Earth, immediately. The Machine Empire is attacking Earth again, and King Gasket is preparing to use the Psycho Rangers to bring back Dark Specter. I’ll explain better when we see each other

The Phantom Ranger stood in front of the five robo-rangers. Each one was a perfect replica of the Ex-Turbo rangers when they had been in service.

“I assume Alpha has already briefed you on the situation?” asked Phantom.

“Yes, he has” said robo-TJ “Whenever your ready”

“Alright” replied Phantom ranger “Lets go” he walked out of the room, followed by his team, headed for the Phantom Flyer. Phantom tapped his communicator.

“Alpha?”

“Yes?”

“Keep the Blue Centurion on standby, just in case Eltar is attacked while I’m gone”

“Of course”

As the rangers prepared to teleport to the Mega Winger, a young man followed the Aquitarian rangers, making sure everything was ready.

“Delphine” he said “Could you say hi to the others for me?”

“Of course I will Billy” she replied, just before the eleven of them teleported out, leaving the former blue ranger to himself. Cestra came up from behind and began rubbing his shoulders.

“You alright, Billy?” she asked.

“Ya...ya...I’m fine”

Act three: “Once more unto the Breach”

Earth orbit

Haven given up searching on foot, Trey had returned to Pyramdus, and was scanning for the biosignatures of the Zeo rangers. Why he hadn’t thought about doing that before?

He didn’t know why.

Finally, after several minutes of the computer wizzing about, five matches came up.

The Zeo rangers.

The five signatures where pointed on the map, in random points in the Angel Grove area. Some inside the city, others in the surrounding district.

But then the computer detected something else. Hyperrush signatures. And shortly after, Machine Gearships. At least ten of them, all on the other side of the planet. Way too many for Pyramdus to handle alone.

“Shit”

Astro Megaship

Karone sat in the dining room alone, a cup of coffee in her hands.

“I didn’t know you drank coffee” said a voice. The pink ranger looked over to he door. It was Leo.

“I don’t” she replied “I’m just tired, and we still gotta battle to fight on Earth. I’m trying to stay awake”

Leo sat over across from her “Is it gonna be odd working with your brother?”

She thought for a moment “Ya...you know...after a year of fighting him...it is going to be odd fighting along side him as a ranger”

“Does he know?”

“What, that I’m a pink ranger? No. Not yet” she smiled, and took a sip from the coffee.

“How does it taste?”

She swallowed “Terrible” both of them laughed as she threw the cup away.

Leo looked at the cup in the trash “If I where you, I’d just get some soda”

“I don’t like the bubbly taste” she kidded.

Leo nodded “We’ll be approching Earth soon” he said “Better get to the bridge” he got up. Karone nodded and did the same.

Gasket’s Ship

“We are now in orbit of the planet Earth” said Venjix “And I must say...I hate planets like this. Too much green and blue”

“Get over it” replied Tezzla “You didn’t have to work on Aquitar”

“Prepare for a landing force” said Gasket “I want to make the planet Earth my first step in the conquest of this galaxy”

“Yes sir” said Venjix.

The Abandoned Warehouse District (Where else?)

About one hundred Cogs, five Machine generals, five Psycho rangers, and Gasket and Archerina appeared just outside an old storage shed, Gasket holding an orb like a doo-dad.

“Cogs!” he ordered “Get busy. Start building that sensor array immediately, I am expecting company soon”

“How many do you think will arrive?” asked his wife.

“Well...” he thought about it “After how many planets we attacked, I’m expecting the entire welcome wagon” he continued to fool around with the orb.

Angel Grove Martial Arts Acadamy

“Hiyah!” shouted the practicing crowd, as they went though their movements.

“That’s very good” the leader congratulated “Now remember, next week we have my personal friend Tommy Oliver stopping by to teach us a few pointers. Class dismissed”

The group of kids quickly packed up their things and began to walk out. The teacher rubbed his lower back, as if he had stretched a muscle.

“You gotta be careful about that back there, Rocky” said Adam, sitting on a rail next to the wall.

“I’m fine” Rocky let go of the back and stood up “I just worked a little too hard today”

“Ya, but remember what the doctor said...”

“I know, I know” Rocky rolled his eyes “avoid unnecessary back stress”

“You need a break dude. I’ll teach the class alone tomorrow”

“You sure you can handle them?”

Adam laughed “I’ve taken on half a dozen different evil alien space empires. I think I can handle a bunch of green belts”

Rocky laughed too. A clearing of the throat from behind the two stopped the laughter, however. The two rangers looked to the door. There stood two beings.

“Tommy” said Rocky, surprised that his friend was here “We weren’t expecting you until next week”

Tommy looked at them solemnly “We’ve got trouble guys”

Adam noticed that Trey was standing behind him, and his face darkened “What’s going on?”

Angel Grove Elementary School

Kathryn closed her eyes while at her desk, and listened to the quiet. It had been about thirty minutes since the after school buses had picked up the activity students.

As her eyes where shut, she could almost make out the outlines of past monster battles. At times she would give almost anything to get back into the fray one final time. She missed the excitement, and the close bond she shared with her teammates. And most of all...she missed Tommy.

Ever since “the incident” she had never talked to Tommy. And she had yet to find someone else to fill the gap Tommy had left.

A familiar voice made her open her eyes.

“Hey Kat” said Tanya “You won’t believe what’s going on”

Astro Megaship, Earth orbit

The first thing Kai saw as he stepped onto the bridge was the friggin huge pyramid on the viewing screen.

Of all things. A pyramid. A frigging pyramid.

“Is that...the Machine empire?”

“What?” asked Karone, at the navigation controls, looking back at him “Oh, no, thats just the Gold ranger’s zord”

“Oh...” he said nothing more, but nodded, taking his station.

“I’m detecting two other hyper-rush signatures” said Maya “It’s...the Mega Winger and the Phantom Flyer. Both are hailing us”

“On screen” Leo ordered.

Both Andros and the Phantom Ranger appeared on a split screen.

“Enjoying my ship, I see” said Andros, joking.

Leo smiled “She’s alright”

The Phantom Ranger spoke up “I have received the coordinates from Trey. We should all teleport down to his location”

“Lets do it” said Leo.

Andros nodded “Time to go to work” the communication link shut off, and the red space ranger got out of his seat “Well, you heard the man. Lets get moving”

The Warehouse District

Twenty-nine humanoid life-forms ran down an abandoned alleyway, each of them with the same objective—to stop King Gasket once and for all.

“Hurry!” said Gasket “They’ll be here soon!”

“Looking for us?” asked a voice. Gasket turned around. An army of unmorphed rangers stood, blocking the southern direction of the street.

“Joy, company” Gasket muttered. He looked at his troops and warriors “Attention Machine forces. I want all thirty some of those rangers reduced to grass clippings, understand?”

“Ready guys?” asked Tommy. The rangers around him nodded “Then let’s do it. IT’S MORPHIN TIME!”

“Its Morphin Time!” shouted Delphine.

“White Aquitar Ranger Power!” she shouted.
“Red Aquitar Ranger Power!” cried Aurico.
“Blue Aquitar Ranger Power!” shouted Cestro.
“Black Aquitar Ranger Power!” Corcus called out.
“Yellow Aquitar Ranger Power!” Tideus yelled.

Each ranger grabbed their sword’s sheath by both the top and the bottom “Aquitar Ranger Power!” they shouted in unison.

“It’s Morphin Time!” Tommy ordered.

“Gold Ranger Power!” shouted Trey.
“Zeo Ranger One, Pink!” cried Kat.
“Zeo Ranger Two, Yellow!” shouted Tanya.
“Zeo Ranger Three, Blue!” Rocky called out.
“Zeo Ranger Four, Green!” called Adam.
“Zeo Ranger Five, Red!” Tommy finished it off.

Together they stood, and saluted “Zeo Rangers!”

“Shift into Turbo!” Robo-TJ cried.

Each one of the Turbo rangers suddenly stood side by side, each in a different pose, along side the Phantom Ranger “Turbo Rangers!”

Andros nodded to his team “Our turn! Lets Rocket!”

A second later, six Space rangers made a finger gun pose with their fists “Space Rangers!”

“Go, Galactic!” shouted Leo.

“Magna Defender Power!” cried Mike.

Just as the other teams had done, the Galaxy rangers and the Magna Defender appeared. The five rangers beat their fists into the ground and then outstretched their arms, while Mike simply held his sword.

“Galaxy Rangers!”

An extremely powerful multi-colored explosion caused by an overcharge of the natural energies of space-time from too many morphs erupted behind the twenty-nine heroes.

“Power Rangers” they shouted all at once, as they each took a new pose “Power Up!”

Act Four: Arise, fair Rangers

“How quaint” Gasket remarked “Get them!”

The Machine army raced forward, as did the rangers, until they met in possibly the biggest single ranger battle of all time.


Kat and Cassie rushed through the jungle of Cogs, until they met up with Psycho Pink.

“Hello again, pink ranger” she said, looking at Cassie “Want to play?”

But Cassie wasn’t in any mood to mess around “Play this” said the pink ranger as she fired her Astro Blaster, which Pink just deflected with her wrist.

“Gotta try harder then that” mocked Psycho Pink.

“You mean like this?” asked Kat. He came down from behind, Zeo saber in hand, and thrust down, right on top of Pink’s helmet. Sparks flew as the evil pink ranger rolled over.

“You’ll...pay for that” she stumbled to get back on her feet.

But both pink rangers where ready. As the Psycho saw where her supposed prey was, she didn’t even have time to react.

“Fire!” shouted Kat. She fired several shots from her Zeo power blaster (with the saber connected for extra power), and Cassie with her Satellite Stunner (combined with the Astro Blaster). Psycho Pink was blasted clear into a pile of broken material.


Tezzla fired again and again. But each time she did, the white Aquitian ranger just teleported from one location to the spot right next to it.

“Stand still!” the robot howled in anger. She fired yet again, and missed.

“Alright” said Delphine, as she teleported right behind Tezzla, and put her in a neck hold “How’s this?”

The pink Turbo ranger and pink Galaxy rangers stood where Delphine was moments before. They opened fire on Tezzla, causing sparks to erupt. But the evil Machine wasn’t done yet. She flipped Delphine over her head, and fired another series of blasts at the other two. They rolled out of the way, and charged at Tezzla, who prepared to fire agian. But the white ranger grabbed the Machine general by her legs, and made her stumble. This gave Karone and Robo-Cassie enough time to come down with Transdagger and Turbo blade in hand, cutting though Tezzla.


Psycho Yellow monitored the battle from a clearing in the middle of it. She watched as Cogs fell to the might of the rangers.

“Hyiah!” a familiar voice cried. It was tuned to Yellow’s scanners.

Ashley.

The yellow Space ranger pulled a flying kick at Yellow, who just grabbed the foot and twisted,. Sending her opponent to the ground. Behind Ashley, Tanya raced at the evil Yellow ranger. She had both the Zeo blade and blaster in hand, the blaster aimed at Yellow. Three blasts, which the Psycho easily deflected where fired, followed by a blade slice. Yellow just grabbed the blade and twisted, spinning Tanya around.

“Hyiah!” shouted Ashely again, this time from the back. She flipped into the air and flight kicked Yellow in the spine. Psycho Yellow fell to the ground as the two ranger stood ready for her next assault.


Tideus charged at Automon, wielding his saber. Seeing this, the evil Machine general extended his own blade from a roundish device on his wrist. The two warriors exchanged hits, Automon ducking Tideus’s first strike, and Tideus being knocked to the ground by Automon’s return hit from below.

“Had enough ranger?” laughed Automon.

“No, but you have!” said Robo-Ashley. She and Maya sliced down Automon’s back, sending sparks flying in all directions. They then spun around and gave him a duel kick. He fell to his knees in pain.


“Hey, remember me?” asked Carlos, wielding his Lunar Lance.

Psycho Black laughed “How could I forget?” a lance appeared in Black’s hands, as he charged at Carlos. The black Space ranger used his lance and flipped overhead his opponent, landing directly behind him, and sending a nice kick to his back.

Black stumbled, and turned around “Pitiful” he took his lance and struck Carlos several times. His offensive was cut short however, as several laser blasts hit him from the side.

“Need some help?” asked Adam. He threw both of his Ax’s at Psycho Black, who just deflected them. The weapons returned to Adam’s hands as he jumped into the air and stepped on Black’s shoulders, followed by a kick in the side as he landed.

“Ready?” asked Adam.

“Ready!” replied Carlos. Both drew their blasters and fired at the dazed Psycho Black.


Another blow stuck Daemon, as Steelon used his own Transdagger against him.

“I shall enjoy finishing you off, green ranger” the general laughed.

“You find that amusing?” asked Robo-Carlos “Well laugh this up!” he and the black Aquitarian ranger jumped over several Cog’s shoulders, and fired several laser blasts at the opposing general. Steelon staggered back, taken aback by the sudden assault. He dropped the Transdagger, which Daemon grabbed. The three rangers joined each other and stood side by side.

Daemon drew his Quasar Saber “Let me return the favor” he charged the weapon up, and thrust down on Steelon, sending a powered up slice of green energy down on the evil general.


TJ and Rocky faced off against Psycho Blue.

“Come on” laughed Blue “Show we what you puny rangers got!”

“You asked for it!” TJ locked his Astro Ax into his Astro Blaster and fired, as Rocky charged up his two Hatchets. TJ let loose a volley of laser blasts on his foe, who knocked a first few aside, but soon become quickly overwhelmed. The blue Space ranger took the opportunity to jump into the air and give Blue a nice kick to the face.

Rocky, not to be left out, also attacked, his weapons charged up. “Zeo Ranger Three Attack!” he shouted, flying though the air and cutting though Blue with his Hatchets.


Gerrok watched as three blue rangers gathered in front of him. Obviously they wanted to die.

The Galaxy ranger attacked first, flipping over Gerrok’s head. The Machine general fired several blasts from his wrist weapon as he did, but all of the shots missed. Robo-Justin and Cestro followed, each jumping into the air simultaneously as Gerrok’s attention was turned toward Kai. They slammed into Gerrok’s head, who stumbled back.

“You’ll pay for that!” he shouted, and grabbed Cestro, choking him. The blue Aquitatian ranger struggled, kneeing Gerrok. The general let go as his torso plate was given a slight dent. As Cestro stepped aside, Kai sat—Quasar Launcher aimed. Gerrok was literally blasted away by a wave of blue energy.


For Psycho Red it felt like Christmas morning. Two of the most well-known rangers in the universe, Andros and Tommy Oliver, where in the palm of his hands. He was going to enjoy this.

The evil ranger charged, dodging any shots Andros and Tommy threw at him. As he got in range, he summoned his Psycho saber, and threw a strike at Andros. His blade was met with Andros’s Spiral Saber, however, and the red Space ranger thrust Red off of him.

Tommy spun around and gave Red a kick in the side, causing him to topple over to the ground. Psycho Red staggered back up, and charged again, this time aimed at Tommy.

“Zeo Five Flying Power Kick!” shouted the red Zeo ranger. He jumped into the air, and slammed into the chest of Psycho Red. His opponent fell back down, and struggled to get back up.

“My turn!” shouted Andros. He pressed a button on a wrist device of his “Battlizer!”

Armor surrounded Andros. Wings appeared on his back. He flew up into the air above Psycho Red.

“Good night, Red” he said, as missiles launched off the back and exploded all around Psycho Red.


Aurico drew his sword and attacked Venjix. The leading general just smirked, and fired a couple laser blasts at his foe’s chest, throwing him to the ground.

From behind, Robo-TJ flipped overhead and landed in front of Venjix. The two exchanged punches, before a final blow sent the red Turbo ranger flying.

Armed with both his Transdagger and his Quasar Saber, Leo charged at Venjix from the side. The general saw him, and fired several more blasts. But as he did, Leo jumped into the air, and flipped over Venjix, slicing though the general’s metal as he did. Damaged, Venjix staggered. But Leo wasn’t done yet.

Two devices appeared in his hands. He pressed them together, and a massive machine surrounded him.

"Battlizer!" he shouted, as a surge of energy charged through his armor.

“Lock on and FIRE!” he shouted. Several massive energy blasts hit the weakened Venjix dead on. The damaged general fell to his knees.


Four rangers stood opposite of Gasket and Archerina. Three Cogs stood guard in front of the Machine Empire’s leaders. They charged.

All four rangers aimed their guns and fired, blasting good-sized holes in the enemy grunts.

Now it was Gasket’s turn. He and his wife advanced, as did the rangers.

The Phantom Ranger and Mike attacked Archerina. She fired her bow twice, causing sparks in front of the two rangers. They ran though them, and drew their swords. Phantom kicked, as Archerina ducked. However, another blow from Mike sent her to the ground.

Meanwhile, Zhane and Trey took on Gasket. He blocked everything they threw at him—punches, kicks, hits with their weapons, everything.

Zhane grabbed Gasket by both arms. Trying to shove the silver ranger off of him, Gasket grabbed his also. The two struggled, until Zhane gave way, knowing full well who was behind him. Trey, just five feet from Gasket, had his Golden Staff charged up.

“Its time for a Gold Rush!” he shouted, as several golden energy orbs hit Gasket dead on. The King of the mighty Machine Empire flipped over and fell to the ground, but not for long. He looked over at the array...it was done.

“Nice try rangers” he laughed as he got back on his feet “But time’s up. You loose!”

An orb appeared in his hands as he walked over to the array. He placed it inside, and the machine sprung to life, sending a pulse into space.

Rocky tossed aside Psycho Blue when he saw what the orb was.

“The Orb of Doom!” he shouted, running up to the array. A strong electric pulse knocked him back.

“How did you get it?” he asked, getting back up.

“I have my ways, blue ranger” said Gasket “Now, watch as your universe ends!”

The beam came back to Earth, after hitting the other four planets, hitting the first array all over again.

The circuit of evil was complete.

Act five: Dark Specter’s Return

As the cycle completed, the orb began to spin. But instead of turning the rangers into children however, as Rocky originally thought, it shot out five beams of light. One red, one blue, one yellow, one black, and one pink. Each one hit their respective Psycho ranger.

“What’s...going on?!” Red cried in pain. A red glow surrounded him.


“Gasket...tricked us!” Yellow vanished as she was turned into yellow-colored energy and was drawn back into the array. The same thing happened to the others.

For a moment, all was quiet.

But only for the moment.

The beam stopped firing, and the cycle ended. Another beam was shot out, but it was aimed at downtown Angel Grove. A monstrous figure arose out of the massive energy form that had appeared.

As the energy settled down, the hideous body of Dark Specter roared, and began destroying everything in sight.

“Why isn’t he planet sized?” asked Cassie.

“He’s not at full power yet” replied Andros “This is our only chance. We need the zords!”

The five Aquitarian rangers took out their power coins.

“We need Shogunzord power, now!” they all shouted.

Taking the hint from the Aquitarians, the Zeo rangers stood together.

“Super Zeo Zord power!”

Next up was the Turbo rangers. TJ expected them to let the others deal with the threat, but that wasn’t the case.

“We need Rescue Zord power, now!” they shouted.

“How did...” asked TJ.

“Well, we’ve had a year and a half on Eltar to rebuild them” the Phantom Ranger replied.

TJ nodded, agreeing that it made sense. In any case, now it was his team’s turn.

“Astro Megazord power!” shouted Andros.

“Galactabeasts, Arise!” shouted Leo.

Within moments, an army of Zords descended on Angel Grove.

From inside, Tommy prepared the next stage of operations “Super Zeo Megazord, power up!”

The five Super Zeo Zords, all flying in midair, flew together and transformed. They combined and landed, leaving a larger humanoid robot.

Seconds later, the Shogun Megazord landed to the right of the Zeo rangers. To the left, the Astro Megazord stood.

But two more Megazords where on their way. The Turbo Zords flew into one another, and lifted up, creating the Turbo Megazord.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy rangers had landed on top of their Galactabeasts.

“Galactabeasts, transform!” Leo ordered. He lifted up his Transdagger, which glowed. His animal, a red lion, instantly became a Zord, as did the other beasts. The five new zords flew together, and combined to form the Galaxy Megazord.

The five Megazords stood tall together, each one awaiting Dark Specter’s inevitable assault.

This Dark Specter however, did not seem to have the same mind the original did. He did not speak, and seemed much less intelligent, much like Maligore. However, that made him, no less of a threat. The beast charged, apparently not afraid of its attackers.


Meanwhile, on the ground level, the battle was still going on. The sixth rangers where dealing with Gasket and the remaining Cogs.

The Phantom Ranger flipped another one over his shoulder when he heard something. A massive silver dragster was headed strait for him. He barely dodged the vehicle, when he saw it was Zhane driving it.

“Watch where you’re driving!” he said.

“Sorry!” replied Zhane. He turned his attention back on running over any Cogs he could find.

Mike transformed his sword into rifle, and began blasting any enemies he saw with it. Such was the “Clean-up duty”.

Trey took on Gasket alone. The two proved to be equal matches, when one side didn’t outnumber the other. Trey dodged a sweep kick, as Gasket dodged one of Trey’s swings with his Golden staff.


The Galaxy Megazord was thrown strait into a building. The giant robot crushed the structure as it fell over, finally coming to a rest in the rubble that had once been an old apartment building.

Leo swore he could hear Dark Specter as the monster approached the fallen Zord.

However, two other Zords each grabbed Dark Specter’s arms, keeping him from moving any further.

“Leo” Tommy called out, his zord struggling to keep Dark Specter in his place “Whats your status?”

“We’re fine” replied Leo “Just keep him off us for a sec”

“Easier said then done” said Andros. Specter made his move. He threw the Astro Megazord aside, freeing his left arm. Swinging the arm around, he then created deep gashes in the Super Zeo Megazord. The Zeo rangers shielded their eyes as sparks lit up the cockpit, and the Megazord fell to the pavement below.

A blow from behind turned Dark Specter’s attention over to the Shogun Megazord. In its hands the Megazord wielded a golden blade, poised for another strike. One that wouldn’t happen. Specter charged, ramming his head into the Shogun, and sending it trashing though several buildings until it finally tumbled over. But while Dark Specter had been busy, the Rescue Megazord had been preparing its attack.

“Hey ugly” said Robo-TJ “Over here”

The lava monster turned his head to face the Rescue Megazord, two huge cannons resting on its arms and shoulders. Dark Specter roared.

“That’s right” the red Turbo ranger said “Eat laser” the Megazord unleashed all hell on Dark Specter, causing massive explosions from the cannon fire. But as the smoke cleared, Dark Specter remained.

Robo-TJ was shocked “No way!”

“That’s impossible!” Robo-Cassie added. A slight hint of panic could be heard in her voice.

However, another explosion rocked Dark Specter’s back. As the monster turned around, he saw the Galaxy Megazord.

To be more precise, the Galaxy Megazord in Lights of Orion mode. And in its hands was the Condor Missile Launcher.

The beast roared as he charged, but was stopped short by the Astro and Shogun Megazords. Both where armed with sabers as they stepped in between Dark Specter and his prey.

“Going somewhere?” asked Andros. Both Megazords fired their sword finisher attacks, followed by a third one from the Galaxy Megazord. But once again, Dark Specter remained. He pushed the two Zords aside, and shoved his claws into the Galaxy Megazord, creating several large holes. A powerful electric current then shot forth, creating massive explosions that rocked the inside of the Zord. Specter picked it up, and tossed it into another building. When it landed, the Lights of Orion vanished, having taken too much damage.

The other four Megazords rallied around their fallen comrade, each one armed with their personal finisher weapon. Putting its hand out, the Astro Megazord helped the damaged Galaxy Megazord stand back up.

“Alright” said Andros, watching as Dark Specter cornered the five “Any suggestions? Now would be a good time!”

“We can’t seem to beat them alone” said Aurico “Perhaps if we all channel our energy into one final attack?”

“I say we do it” said Robo-TJ “What’s the worst that could happen?”

“We get devoured by the resurrected lord of all evil?” Daemon suggested.

“Ok rangers” said Andros, taking the lead “Let’s do this”

“Warrior Wheel!” shouted out Tommy. A wheel shaped Zord suddenly appeared in the Super Zeo Megazord’s right hand.

Each Megazord took a different spot around Dark Specter. They each aimed their weapon as all power in each Zord was diverted for one single blast.

“Ready guys?” asked Andros.

“Ready” replied Aurico.

“Waiting on your command” said Robo-TJ.

“Just say the word” answered Leo.

“Ready when you are” Tommy said.

“Alright” Andros issued the order “FIRE!”


“Shogun Megazord, power up!” shouted the Aquitarian rangers. Flames erupted from the Megazord’s saber as it was lifted up, and thrust down in a final blow.

“Warrior Wheel, engage!” Tommy ordered. The Super Zeo Megazord gave the wheel an under-arm throw, sending it rolling faster and faster, until it lifted off the ground and transformed into its warrior mode. The attacking Zord lit up and threw itself at Dark Specter, sending super-charged energy blasts into the heart of the beast.

“FIRE!” shouted the Turbo rangers. The two massive cannons opened fire, each one ending their own unique volleys of fire at the monster.

Andros executed his command. The Astro Megazord engaged its thrusters and flew into the air, coming back down as its saber was finished charging, slicing though Dark Specter...

The Galaxy Megazord aimed its Condor missile Launcher and fired, sending a powerful blast of energy at its opponent.

Dark Specter howled in pain as explosions erupted across his entire body, sparks bursting forth. Finally, the lava beast fell over, and one final, massive eruption of explosions finished the monster once and for all. In front of the final explosion, the five Megazords stood, victorious once again.


Meanwhile, All four sixth rangers had now cornered Gasket. His army lay in ruins, his generals defeated. Gasket looked up and saw his entire plan blow up in his face—literally. The arrays on all five planets suddenly overloaded and exploded, leaving no trace of them behind except for some left-over rubble.

“NOOO!” he shouted. Then he looked back at Trey. He and the other three where soon backed up by the rest of the rangers.

“You have not seen the end of me, understand?!” he howled “I shall return, and when I do, I will make sure that every last one of you pay!” he vanished, taking his wife and the five machine generals with him.

The rangers all looked at each other, and began celebrating.


Epilogue

Astro Megaship

The Megaship was never meant to support this many people. But the five teams of victorious rangers found a way.

They had to dock the Mega Winger alongside the Astro Megaship, but they found a way all the same.

“And when where you planning on telling me about your ranger carrier?” Andros joked.

“Well, I would have” he sister smiled “But you don’t call...you don’t write...”

“I guess I’ve just been a little busy” he said.

Zhane walked up, a cup of punch in his hand “Hey guys, what’s goin on?”


“Amazing” Cassie laughed “Right under our own noses the whole time”

“So that’s why you dropped off the face of the Earth” Adam joked.

“Never would have guessed, bro” Tommy added.

Jason smiled “Ya, you see, when I lost the Gold ranger powers, it damaged my body more then originally thought. I was sent to Aquitar, where Billy designed the blueprints for the suit. I was kept in mostly stasis in water from the eternal falls until it was finished”

“But when Divatox captured you...” Tommy trailed off.

“I could be out for about a week at a time, assuming I had been in the stasis for an adequate amount of time. When I returned, Billy was almost finished with the designs for the suit. He sent me to Eltar, where Zordon’s team finished building the actual suit. The Phantom Ranger’s power ruby kept me alive and awake at the same time, until they could find a cure”

“Did they?” asked Adam.

“Yep” Jason answered. He picked up his cup off the table and took a sip “Just before Zordon was captured, he and Billy devised a cure. You see, the energies the ruby gave off where apparently the same as a normal person’s bio-rhythms. They built some sort of chip that could do the same thing as the ruby, and injected it into me”

“Dude...that’s awesome” said Tommy.

“Don’t I know it” Jason smiled “So Tommy, I heard you where in Grad School. How’s that working out?”


The party continued on for several hours more, as old friends and allies met up with people they hadn’t in years. All in all, it was a good time.
