Ok. This fan fic takes place after Dino Thunder and involves Jason and the Zeos as well as the Dino Thunders themseleves. I didn't like how DT ended........so this is my version. Tell me honestly what you think of it. I know that I can be wordy; so just tell me. Shikon Sentai has also helped me come up with ideas for this fic so he gets some credit. Here is chapter one.

Breaking the Seal

What an eventful year it had been for Conner and the Dino Thunder Rangers. The teens never dreamed that they would become Rangers and Tommy thought that he wouldn't come out of retirement from being a Ranger. After the final battle with Mesogog, they were kind of sad that the Dino Gems lost their power and that it was their end to their Ranger career or so they thought. Since the Dino Thunder teens were seniors, they graduated and began to get ready for college, but before they would leave, they would meet new friends (or in Tommy's case, old ones) and they would have to rely on each other to battle through the toughest fight of their lives.
“Mmmmph!” Tommy groaned as he when for the wireless phone taking the pencil he had in his mouth out. He was figuring out grades for his students before the last week of graduation started. “Hello?”
“Tommy, it's Jase!” Jason said with a cheerful tone on the phone. “Finally got a hold of you.”
“Hey what's up? Sorry that I haven't call to give my new number. I have been busy.”
“It is ok. At least I got it now. I am doing fine. I am helping Katherine pack her house.” Jason pulled out a piece of packing tape and put it on a box sealing it shut.
“What?! Where is she going? Is she moving again?”
“Yeah. She is having trouble getting a teaching job here in Angel Grove; so she has to move somewhere else.”
“Really?” Tommy said in a depressed tone. His heart sunk. He loved seeing the other Rangers especially Katherine when he would be in Angel Grove to visit. He didn't want Katherine to move away.
“Yeah. But guess where she is moving to, bro?”
“Where?”
“Reefside!”
“WHAT?!”
“Yeah, she is moving out near you! She is so excited! She has a first grade teaching job at an elementary school there.”
“That's great!” Tommy said happily.
“Yeah, Adam, Rocky, Tanya and I are helping Katherine move there. They told her that she had move out quickly so that she can go to a conference there in late June. “
“Ha! I have to go to that conference. I will meet her there.”
“Yeah and maybe after that, you can take her out for coffee. Wink wink, hint hint!”
“Jase!” Tommy's face turned beet red. Apparently Tommy still liked Katherine but was still very shy about his feelings for her. “Come on! Don't tease me like that!” Jason laughed over the phone.
“What are you laughing about Jason?” Rocky said as he and Adam put a very heavy box on the floor. Jason looked around to see if Katherine was around.
“Tommy is still shy about his feelings for Kat,” Jason whispered.
“Hmph?!” Rocky said. “Still a bumbling idiot when he comes to love. Oi!”
“I heard that!” Tommy yelled over the phone. Adam started laughing.
“Anyway Tom, she is moving in about two weeks from today.”
“Ah crud! I am going to be gone. I am going to be supervising a dig for someone. He is going leaving for a few days on business and needs me to cover for him. I was going to help you guys move in.”
“It is ok. We can wait until you come back so that we can see you. So I hear that Reefside had Power Rangers in the last year.”
“Yep.”
“Did you have your hand in their creation, Tommy-boy?” Jason said slyly.
“Uh.....” Tommy said with a nervous laugh.
“I knew it. How did you find these ones?”
“They were my students.”
“Karate students?”
“No, high school students,” Tommy said. “I teach science at Reefside High.”
“I heard about that. Anyway, any chance in meeting them?”
“Yeah, I can ask them to help. I think that they would love meeting you guys.”
“Cool.” Jason said. “Anyway, I let you get back to what you are doing. I just wanted to see if you would be in town when Kat moves in. Too bad.”
“It is only going to last a few days. I will be back in order for to help her get settled.”
“Good. I will talk to you later, bro and we will see you soon.”
“Bye, Bro.”
“Bye.”
They both hung up the phone and went about finishing what they were doing. The week went by as all the Zeo Rangers helped Katherine pack and Tommy finished the rest of the school year. During the week, Tommy asked Conner and the other Dino Thunder Rangers about helping Katherine and they said that they would be glad to help.
The two weeks came really fast and all the Rangers were anxious to see one another. The Dino Thunder teens graduated and had their parties. Two days before Katherine was going to be in town, Dr. Tommy Oliver left for the dig and the day that Katherine was moving in, a summer school class was visiting the dig with someone he recognized.
“EMILY!” Tommy yelled over the chattering twelve year olds. Emily spotted Tommy and made her way to him.
“Well, Dr. Oliver,” Emily said as she gave him a friendly hug. “I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?”
“Good. I talked with your husband two weeks ago. I have been teaching and the school year just ended. It has been one heck of a year.”
“First year in teaching?”
“Yeah, plus all the attacks from monsters in the city. I thought I got away from that.” Tommy said annoyed. Emily giggled.
“Luckily both Angel Grove and Reefside had Power Rangers. Without them, the monsters would wreak havoc.”
“Yeah. So, I heard that the class was coming, but I didn't expect to see you here.”
“I am volunteering. The youth center is under repair and the kids I usually watch are taking summer school, so…….”
“You decided to volunteer at the school instead,” Tommy said finishing her sentence.
“Exactly. And I assume you are the guy in charge, right?”
“Yeah, kind of. They called me to look at something and to supervise for a few days. The guy in charge is on a business trip.” Suddenly there was a bunch of screaming and people franticly running over the hill beside them. “What the heck?” All of a sudden a fifteen-foot lizard came over the hill and started yelling at all the people fleeing.
“OH MY GOD!!” Emily said as she cowered behind Tommy. Tommy went for his Dino Morpher, but realized that he couldn't morph due to the fact that the powers were gone and that he didn't have it on him.
“Emily, get back!” Tommy said as he motioned for her to run. When he looked back however, the giant lizard had noticed him and began to charge at him. “OH CRAP!!!” Tommy ran as fast as he could, but tripped as he tried running up the next hill. Tommy closed his eye tightly as he braced for the impact, but opened them again when he realized that he hadn't been run over. He opened his eyes and saw that it was sniffing him. “What?” The lizard had stopped right in front of him. It then it looked like it smiled and then in a big burst turn to dust.
“What in the world?” Emily said in disbelief. She ran up to Tommy. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah,” Tommy said as he brushed himself off. “That was a lizard!”
“That wasn't a dinosaur?”
“No it wasn't and the way it acted. It looked like it was trying to scare people away, not attack.”
“What do we do?” Emily said.
“Let's see where it came from first….over this way.” Tommy and Emily headed toward the direction that the huge lizard had come from. There they found a cave with huge reptilian footprints coming from it. “My guess……….it came from there.” he said sarcastically.
“What gave you that clue?” Emily said as sarcastic as Tommy did. They walked into the cave and looked around. On one wall, they could see what looked like scale formations on the wall which indicated that the lizard had been sealed there.
“Yep, it was definitely here,” Tommy said as he touched the wall. “I wonder what it was protecting.”
“And why didn't it attack you? That is strange.”
“I don't know.”
“Hey, what's this?” Emily said as she pointed to the wall at the back of the cave. She found an engraved design on the wall. Tommy took out a flashlight from his vest and shined it on the wall.
“Some sort of mark…..” Tommy said as he used a brush to dust off the dirt on it. Then, Tommy grew wide-eyed in surprise. 'Zordon's symbol!?' he said to himself. 'Zordon, what did you bury in here?' Tommy went to touch the symbol, but then stopped just inches of touching it. He could feel that something was wrong and that he shouldn't touch it.
“GAAAAA!!! A snake!” Emily said as she jumped back and into Tommy. Tommy's hand touched the design and Tommy looked up at it in horror.
“Aw man!” The cave began to shake as dust from the ceiling wall began to fall. “Oh no! Emily! We have to get out of here! NOW!” Tommy grabbed Emily's wrist and began running. Rocks started to fall around them as they made their way to the cave entrance. As soon as they were about to go outside, a huge boulder came falling down on top of them. “NOOOOOOO!!!”

The next day back in Reefside, Conner and the other Dino Thunder teens were just pulling up to Katherine's new house at around nine'o clock in the morning.
“Conner, are you sure that this is the right house?” Kira asked.
“Yeah, 6490 Juniper Road. This is it,” Conner said as he and the others got out of his car. The other rangers followed Conner to the front door and he rang the doorbell. The door was opened a few seconds later by Katherine.
“Hey, are you Katherine?” Ethan asked.
“Yes, I am,” she said with a smile on her face. “Are you Dr. Oliver's students?”
“Yep!” Conner said. “I am Conner. This is Kira, Ethan and Trent. We are here to help.”
“Thank you. This way.” She led them inside. The house had a whole bunch of boxes stacked in the corners and had most of the big furniture in. “Tommy has talked so much about the four of you. I hear that you guys graduated and are going to college.”
“Yeah, but I feel kind of bad though,” Kira said. “We got really attached to Dr. O and I hate to leave him behind.”
“Don't worry,” Trent said. “He has my dad, Hayley and Elsa to keep him company, plus Katherine now.”
“I need to meet them,” Katherine said.
“So, you are the Dino Thunder Rangers, huh?” a male voice said behind Ethan. They turned to find Jason.
“They don't look that strong,” Rocky said as he came up from behind Jason.
“Hmph,” Conner said as he walked up to Rocky. “Appearances can be deceiving.”
“That is something Tommy would say,” Jason said. “He is definitely one of Tommy's students.”
“Where are Tanya and Adam, Jason?” Katherine asked.
“Upstairs working on your guest room. So, how was your school year, not including your Rangering on the side?”
“Fine, I got good grade and so did the everyone else,” Kira said.
“I got a C in Dr. O's class though,” Conner said. “Science isn't my best subject. Plus, Dr. O lays on the homework.”
“I am not surprised,” Adam said as he and Tanya walked up behind the Dino Thunder teens and Katherine. “Tommy is like that.”
“Done upstairs, Kat,” Tanya said. “Your room and the guest room.”
“Thanks guys, it would have taken forever to do everything,” Katherine said.
“Wait! You're all done already?” Ethan said.
“No just with upstairs,” Rocky said. “We need to get Kat's living room and kitchen in order and then we will be done. We started at about seven this morning.”
“Ok, why don't we all take a break and talk about one another and about our adventures as being Rangers,” Jason said. They talked for a good long time about their adventures. Jason talked about the first Rangers ever, but he didn't tell them how Tommy became a Ranger. He had figured the Dino Thunder Rangers knew about Tommy's Green Ranger history (everyone but Trent knew.)
“And Dr. O told us not to tell you this, but……” Conner said. “Dr. O got stuck in his Ranger suit for about a month.”
“WHAT?! You're kidding me?” Jason said astonished as the rest of the Zeo Rangers started to laugh uncontrollably. “How did he manage to do that?”
“It is my fault,” Trent said. “I incased him in amber when I was evil and for some reason, he couldn't demorph. Hayley said that it had to do something with the amber and his Dino Gem. We got him out by putting this green ooze on his suit, but then he was invisible for about three days.”
“Yeah, we wondered how he could hold going to the bathroom for so long,” Ethan said.
“Eww, Ethan,” Kira said as she elbowed. The Rangers started to cry because they were laughing so hard.
“How did he become visible again?” Tanya said. “Did it wear off or something?”
“No, Hayley found a way, but it almost killed him,” Trent said.
“What!?” Katherine said.
“It electrocuted him and we put him in the hospital,” Kira said. “Thank god he woke up in time to help us. We were getting attacked.”
“Oh jeez!” Adam said. “Never a dull moment when you are a ranger, huh.” Everyone nodded in agreement.
“Oh no,” Katherine said as she realized how much time had past. “We have been talking for almost two hours. We need to finish guys.”
“Wait, isn't Justin coming at two?” Adam asked. “He said that he was going to come and help.”
“Yeah he is coming.”
“Good,” Jason said. “Let's finish and then we will figure out what to do for lunch.”
“We can order pizza,” Rocky said.
“Sounds cool,” Conner said.
“I am going to check on Emily,” Jason said. “She was going somewhere yesterday with her summer school job. I want to ask her how it was.” Jason when to a corner with his cell phone and started to dial.
“Hey, we should invite Hayley,” Ethan said. “That way you can meet her.”
“That is a good idea,” Tanya said. “The more people you know, Kat, the better.”
“That's strange,” Jason said as he hung up his cell phone.
“What is?” Trent asked.
“I called her cell and the home phone and she didn't answer either one.”
“Did she turn off her phone?” Tanya said.
“No, it just keeps ringing. Hmmph. I will try later.” The Rangers finished the last of the unpacking and order the pizzas for them to eat. When they were almost done, Hayley came over and introduced herself and not to far behind, Justin came. They had a great time while they talked at dinner.
“You are the first ranger to be the youngest?” Ethan asked. “Man, I thought we were young.”
“I was 12 when I got the Turbo powers,” Justin said. “I am 19 now. So, I think that I am able to actually fit in my suit now.”
“Yeah and you aren't as annoying,” Tanya said.
“What?!” The older Rangers began to laugh. “What is that suppose to mean?”
“Nothing, I was kidding.” Jason walked again to the corner to call Emily again.
“We should have some sort of Ranger reunion,” Trent said. “That way we can share stories and things with one another.”
“That would be cool,” Adam said, “but how would we keep it a secret from the public? That is the whole issue.”
“I could do it,” Hayley said. “I am the manager of Hayley's Cyber Café, aren't I?”
“Really?” Katherine said. “You own a café?”
“Yeah, Trent is also a waiter there. Trent you would mind being the waiter that night would you?”
“Of course not,” Trent said with a huge smile on his face. “Meeting all the Rangers would be awesome.”
“I think we should really do this.”
“Yeah,” everyone said. All except Jason, who had a look of dismay on his face, went he came back to the group.
“Jason, what's wrong?” Tanya said with a look of concern.
“She……is missing,” Jason said.
”What?! What do you mean?” Katherine asked,
“I didn't get an answer again on both lines. So, I checked the answering machines messages by phone. I had a message from the school she was volunteering. They said……that something strange happened and she went missing.”
“Oh no!” Rocky said. “Did they tell you where exactly the place was?”
“Yeah, they said that they went to the Silver Hills to watch a live dig.” Hayley had a look of horror when she looked at Jason.
“The Silver Hills?” Hayley said to confirm it. Jason nodded.
“That is where Tommy when to go dig!”
“You're kidding?!” Jason said surprised. Hayley shook her head.
“Let me call him,” Hayley said as she took out her cell phone and dialed his cell number.
“Hayley?” Tanya said. “Anything?” Hayley's look said it all. Her face was pale and worried.
“Great, now what do we do?” Rocky said. “We need to find the both of them.”
“I agree, Rocky,” Jason said. “We need to go there. Now.”
“We are going too,” Conner said as he stood up along with the other Dino Thunder Rangers. “We want to make sure that Dr. O is alright.”
“Ok, but if anything happens, you do what I say. Alright?” The Dino Thunder Rangers nodded.
“Let me get scanning equipment,” Hayley said. “It will help us.”
“Good, lets go before it gets dark,” Adam said.
“Right!” Jason said.
The Rangers got into Jason and Conner's cars and drove up to the Silver Hills, which a good two hour drive. When they got to the dig site, there was no one there. There were equipment and tools everywhere. They could tell that people had left that place in a hurry.
“Wow,” Rocky said. “This place is deserted.”
“You could say that again,” Ethan said as the group of Rangers walked to the center of the dig site.
“What do you think caused the diggers to leave like that?” Trent asked.
“I think this might have,” Tanya said as she ran towards something on the ground.
“WHOA!” Conner said surprise. There they found a set of giant reptile footprints. “Are those dinosaur footprints?”
“I don't know,” Adam said, “but they were made recently.”
“Look, there's more,” Justin said as he pointed to prints.
“This is what must have scared everyone off,” Jason said.
“Let me scan the footprints to see if I get anything off it,” Hayley said as she took out a scanner from the car which was about the size of a large gun and started to scan the area. She started to walk around with it and then came up to footprints. “The readings tell me that the creature that made these was at least 10,000 years old.”
“Are you serious?” Kira said as she looked over Hayley's shoulder.
“They are coming from that direction,” Tanya said as she point toward a hill in the distance. They followed the steps until they came to a dead end near a pile of rocks on the side of a hill.
“They lead to here, but all that is here is rocks,” Hayley said.
“Maybe it came behind the rocks,” Conner said as he began to move the rocks.
“Great idea, Conner,” Trent said as he began to help him. The other Rangers started to help the two teens. Little do they know that they were being watched.
“Is these people the Rangers, my servant?” a subtle charming male voice said.
“Yes, my lord,” a monotone male voice said. “Two groups of them.”
“Good. Do you know which ones they are?”
“Yes, my lord. The blonde, the African American in yellow, the short hair man in blue and the green one next to him are the Zeo Rangers. They are considered to be the strongest Rangers in existence.”
“Who are the others?”
“The white teenager in blue is Justin, the other teenager in blue is Ethan, that is Kira, Trent and Conner,” the monotone voice said as he pointed to each one of them. “They are the Dino Thunder Rangers. The red hair woman there is not a Ranger, but she builds things for them. I would suggest not taking her lightly.”
“Noted. Who is the last one in red there?”
“That is Jason. He is one of the Rangers leaders. He can be dangerous to our plan. If you take him down, the others will fall. He is the first red Ranger of Earth.”
“So Zordon picked that chump?” the charming male voice said.
“Jason is a ranger?” a female voice said as she entered the room. “That is news to me. I want to take care of him myself.”
“Patience, my dear. Patience. Let us go meet with them personally.” The three teleported out of their hidden headquarters and made their way to the other Rangers. Meanwhile, the Rangers finally broke through all the rocks.
“There is a cave,” Adam said.
“Let's look inside,” Jason said as the Rangers followed him into the cave. “Hayley, are you getting any readings?”
“Yeah, I am,” Hayley said. “I am getting strange readings from the back of the cave down there.”
“Let's check it out,” Jason said. They all went to the back of the cave where they found reptilian scales set in the rock walls.
“Whoa! There had to be a huge monster,” Trent said. “This proves it.”
“What's this?” Katherine said, as she looked deeper into the back of the cave. The Rangers went farther into the cave.
“It's a crypt,” Rocky said.
“Someone must have been buried here,” Adam said.
“Or sealed here,” Tanya said with a serious tone. “Look!” She pointed to the same symbol Tommy had found before, but it was in two pieces on the ground. The Rangers walked up to Tanya, bent down and looked at the broken seal.
“That looks like……” Jason said as he picked it up and put the two pieces together. Everyone but the Dino Thunder Rangers gasped.
“Zordon's symbol!” Rocky said. “That means that Zordon was imprisoning someone here.”
“But who?” Kira said.
“Me!” a male voice said. The Rangers turned around to find a young Japanese man that looked about the age of 25 in white Japanese garment standing in the crypt. He had bandages covering his left eye and he had long black hair. The Rangers stood up and got into defensive stances.
“Who are you?” Conner snapped.
“Hmmm,” the man said. His voice was the subtle charming one. “So these are the warriors that Zordon chose to battle Rita. How weak you all are.”
“You knew Zordon?” Adam said.
“Why yes. He was an Eltarian with absurd ideas of peace and harmony in the universe. He was a fool. We didn't get along well.”
“So we assume that Zordon sealed you here after he defeated you?” Katherine said.
“His warriors did, not him,” the man said. “I was only serving my master, Dark Spector when I attacked Earth. His Morphin Warriors used all their power to take me down and seal me here. I did manage to curse one of them though.” He looked at Jason in surprise. “Hmm?! My my, you look just like the leader of the Morphin Warriors.”
“What?” Jason said confused.
“You must be a descendent of that warrior. I am not surprised. The one that release me from this crypt was another person that looked like one of the other Morphin Warriors. The one I cursed.” At that moment, Kira stepped on something on the ground. She looked down and noticed that it was a flashlight. Then she looked in horrified as she could see the initials on the flashlight. “T.O.”
“No,” Kira said abruptly and then snapped at the man. “What do you do with Dr. Oliver?!”
“Is that what you call him?” he said smiled. “He will quite useful to me. The girl that was with him, too. He fought so hard to keep her safe from me. Too bad though. I captured the both of them.” The other Ranger knew then that the man that released him was Tommy.
“Tommy would never release any evil like you!” Hayley yelled. “He wouldn't….”
“But he did,” the man interrupted. “By accident really, but he did.” The Rangers grew angry with the man.
“We will seal you back in here!” Ethan yelled.
“Hmmph! With no powers, I doubt that.”
“How did you know?” Tanya stammered out.
“I have my sources. I also heard that Zordon also sacrificed himself to defeat the overrun of Dark Spector's forces of evil. Too bad that he only eliminated the ones attacking at that moment. Otherwise, I won't be alive to attack you now.” An energy ball formed in the man's hand and he slammed it down into the ground. The crypt shook and then black ooze with rocks in them began to come up in columns and then into figures. “My energy clones…destroy them.” The clones lunged themselves at the Rangers.
“Look out!” Adam yelled. For every Ranger, there were five clones on them. Kira ran to the wall trying to find an escape route, but realized that she had trapped herself in a corner. She swore under her breath.
“Hayley, stay back!” Jason said as he motioned her to get to the back of the cave.
“Right!” she answered and did what Jason said.
“Kira!” Tanya yelled as she and Katherine made their way to her. However, one of the clones grabbed Katherine's hair and as Katherine screamed, it began to try to pull her into its body.
“No!” Kira yelled as she ran up and used a karate kick to make it let go of Katherine. “Hey, I thought my moves came from the Dino Gem.” She began to kick and punch the snot out of the clone.
“Wow!” Tanya said impressed. “Don't get her mad.”
“Come on Tanya,” Katherine said. “Let's help her.”
“Oh……yeah!” The girls began to defeat all off their clones.
“HI-YAH!!!!” Ethan said as he kicked one of the clones into the wall and then turned around to fight the next one. Ethan saw that Rocky and Justin had three of them clinging themselves onto both of them. “Hey snot heads!” The clones looked up as one was hit in the head with a small object. They looked at toward who had thrown it, but when they did, Rocky and Justin grabbed one of them each and hit both into another one and into the coffin that was in the crypt. Ethan hit the other in the face.
“Thanks, Ethan,” Rocky said as he looked at Ethan. Ethan bent down and picked up the object he threw.
“You threw your Game Boy at him?!' Justin said laughing and surprised.
“I needed to get their attention somehow.”
“Nice!”
“Watch it!” Trent yelled as one of the clones was flying back directly at Rocky, Justin and Ethan. The two stepped out of the way.
“Behind you!” Justin said to Trent. One of the clones was about to fall on top of Trent, but then a green streak came up behind Trent and kicked the clone.
“Adam!” Justin said.
“Nice save!” Rocky said.
“Thanks,” Trent said.
Conner grabbed on to the back of the one of them and saw that Jason was pinning one of the arms of the clone.
“Jason!” Conner said with a smile and Jason knew instantly what Conner was implying and nodded in agreement. The two Rangers sent the clones they were holding into each other and they became one big pile of ooze and rumble. After that happened, all of the clones were gone.
“Hmmm, impressive,” the man said. “Not bad for not having Ranger powers.”
“We have powers!” Rocky said. All the Rangers looked at him weird. “Just……..not…..here…..”
At that moment, two figures came up from behind the man into the light.
“Rangers?!” Katherine uttered as she and the rest of the other Rangers gasped in surprise. They could tell that these two Rangers were evil. The shields on their suits were jagged and the helmets had strange symbols on them. The female had evil shades of pink and purple swirling together on her suit while the male had red and black.
“Ah, Majo and Oni,” The man said. “My loyal Rangers.”
“How?” Tanya said shocked.
“They don't look like much of a challenge, Ichijin-sama,” the girl said.
“Careful Majo,” the male Ranger said. His voice was the monotone one. “Don't underestimate them. They are stronger than you think.”
“Whatever, Oni. Let me handle them myself.” She held her weapon in front of her and it began to glow. It looked like a staff with a crescent shaped blade pointing outward on the top. All of a sudden, blade burst into flames and she swung the staff toward the former Rangers sending the fire at them.
“LOOK OUT!” Jason yelled as he tried to shield three of the Dino Thunder Rangers.
“What do we do Jase?” Rocky said as all of the Rangers huddled up together to try to keep away from the fire.
“If we don't fight, they will kill us,” Conner said.
“But they will kill us anyway if we do fight,” Justin said.
“That is better than just standing here,” Adam said.
“You're right Conner,” Jason said as he looked back at Ichijin, Majo and Oni through the flames. “We can't just go out without a fight! We're Rangers till the end!”
“YEAH!” the Rangers yelled. They looked back at the evil Rangers and ran through the flames and into their fighting stances with looks of determination on their faces.
“Hmm. Looks like they have some guts after all,” Majo said. She then swung the staff again and ice shards came shooting out from it. The Rangers scattered in all directions to try and dodge the attack. Tanya and Kira came up to Majo and tried to tackle her, but Majo stepped out of the way before they could grab her and retaliated by hitting them with the staff. They fell forward into the wall that was right behind Majo. “Hee hee. Who is next?”
The Rangers stepped back in hesitation before Rocky and Adam tried to run towards her. They jumped into the air and began to try and kick her, but she then sent lightning at them to stop them in their tracks and then get flung back into the rest of the Rangers.
“Hmmm, well. Oni. Majo,” Ichijin said smugly. “Looks like we will have no resistance from them. Come.” The three turned to leave.
“Come back here!” Conner said as he ran toward Ichijin.
“Conner!” Jason said as he ran after him.
Conner went to punch Ichijin, but then he found himself falling when Oni tripped him and pushed him to the ground hard. Jason saw this and ran to fight Oni. Jason with all of his might tried to land anything of Oni, but found that Oni was merely dodging every single one. At one point though, Jason swung a punch to Oni's face and missed and then Oni came in and punched Jason in the stomach. Jason doubled over in pain from the punch and Oni threw him to the ground. Jason got to his knees but then he found himself throwing up. Oni had hit him hard.
“Pathetic,” Oni said and kicked Jason in the face sending him flying onto his back. Jason's nose began to bleed.
“JASON!” the Rangers and Hayley said as they ran toward him. They could see the red mark on Jason's face where Oni had hit him. Jason looked back at Oni with hate in his eyes.
“You can't win, Rangers,” Ichijin said. “If you can't even lay a finger on either one of my Chaos Rangers, then there is no hope in stopping me.” Ichijin and the two Chaos Rangers turned to exit the crypt as Ichijin laughed evilly. They disappeared into the darkness.
“Jason, are you ok?” Hayley said as he and Katherine tried to get him on his feet.
“Yeah,” Jason said as he brushed the blood coming from his nose. “They are going to pay for this.”
“We can't let them attack the city!” Kira said. “What do we do?”
“I don't know Kira……..I don't know….”
“Jason! “ Katherine said. “Adam and the rest of us still have our Zeonizers. We can try to do something to stop them.”
“Kat, we do but,” Rocky said as the other three Zeo Rangers showed their wrists. “We left them in Angel Grove.”
“We don't have power,” Ethan said as the Dino Rangers showed the others their Dino bracelets. “Our Dino Gems lost their power in the final fight we had with Mesogog.”
“I can go back with the other Zeos to get my morpher, but then that leaves…..” Jason said.
“I know,” Katherine said. “I have to fight alone.”
“What!?” Conner and the other Dino Thunders said.
“You won't stand a chance!” Hayley said.
“I know….” Katherine said, ”but I can't just stand here and do nothing.”
“Let's hurry!” Adam said. “We have to get back here as soon as possible. Who knows when they are going to strike.”
“Yes,” Jason said as he nodded in agreement.
“No!” Rocky said. “Jason, we can get your morpher. You need to rest!”
“I agree with Rocky,” Hayley said. “You need to be bandaged up and have rest. Oni hit you pretty hard.”
“Ok, fine,” Jason said a little annoyed. He understood, but didn't like it. “Go! Now! Katherine will need help when they attack!”
“Right!” the Zeo Rangers said. All the Rangers went back to Katherine's house. There, Katherine found her Zeonizer and the other Zeos left to get Jason's and their morphers. For the next few hours, Katherine and the other Rangers who had stayed waited impatiently for Ichijin to attack Reefside.

What an eventful year it had been for Conner and the Dino Thunder Rangers. The teens never dreamed that they would become Rangers and Tommy thought that he wouldn't come out of retirement from being a Ranger. After the final battle with Mesogog, they were kind of sad that the Dino Gems lost their power and that it was their end to their Ranger career or so they thought. Since the Dino Thunder teens were seniors, they graduated and began to get ready for college, but before they would leave, they would meet new friends (or in Tommy's case, old ones) and they would have to rely on each other to battle through the toughest fight of their lives.
“Mmmmph!” Tommy groaned as he when for the wireless phone taking the pencil he had in his mouth out. He was figuring out grades for his students before the last week of graduation started. “Hello?”
“Tommy, it's Jase!” Jason said with a cheerful tone on the phone. “Finally got a hold of you.”
“Hey what's up? Sorry that I haven't call to give my new number. I have been busy.”
“It is ok. At least I got it now. I am doing fine. I am helping Katherine pack her house.” Jason pulled out a piece of packing tape and put it on a box sealing it shut.
“What?! Where is she going? Is she moving again?”
“Yeah. She is having trouble getting a teaching job here in Angel Grove; so she has to move somewhere else.”
“Really?” Tommy said in a depressed tone. His heart sunk. He loved seeing the other Rangers especially Katherine when he would be in Angel Grove to visit. He didn't want Katherine to move away.
“Yeah. But guess where she is moving to, bro?”
“Where?”
“Reefside!”
“WHAT?!”
“Yeah, she is moving out near you! She is so excited! She has a first grade teaching job at an elementary school there.”
“That's great!” Tommy said happily.
“Yeah, Adam, Rocky, Tanya and I are helping Katherine move there. They told her that she had move out quickly so that she can go to a conference there in late June. “
“Ha! I have to go to that conference. I will meet her there.”
“Yeah and maybe after that, you can take her out for coffee. Wink wink, hint hint!”
“Jase!” Tommy's face turned beet red. Apparently Tommy still liked Katherine but was still very shy about his feelings for her. “Come on! Don't tease me like that!” Jason laughed over the phone.
“What are you laughing about Jason?” Rocky said as he and Adam put a very heavy box on the floor. Jason looked around to see if Katherine was around.
“Tommy is still shy about his feelings for Kat,” Jason whispered.
“Hmph?!” Rocky said. “Still a bumbling idiot when he comes to love. Oi!”
“I heard that!” Tommy yelled over the phone. Adam started laughing.
“Anyway Tom, she is moving in about two weeks from today.”
“Ah crud! I am going to be gone. I am going to be supervising a dig for someone. He is going leaving for a few days on business and needs me to cover for him. I was going to help you guys move in.”
“It is ok. We can wait until you come back so that we can see you. So I hear that Reefside had Power Rangers in the last year.”
“Yep.”
“Did you have your hand in their creation, Tommy-boy?” Jason said slyly.
“Uh.....” Tommy said with a nervous laugh.
“I knew it. How did you find these ones?”
“They were my students.”
“Karate students?”
“No, high school students,” Tommy said. “I teach science at Reefside High.”
“I heard about that. Anyway, any chance in meeting them?”
“Yeah, I can ask them to help. I think that they would love meeting you guys.”
“Cool.” Jason said. “Anyway, I let you get back to what you are doing. I just wanted to see if you would be in town when Kat moves in. Too bad.”
“It is only going to last a few days. I will be back in order for to help her get settled.”
“Good. I will talk to you later, bro and we will see you soon.”
“Bye, Bro.”
“Bye.”
They both hung up the phone and went about finishing what they were doing. The week went by as all the Zeo Rangers helped Katherine pack and Tommy finished the rest of the school year. During the week, Tommy asked Conner and the other Dino Thunder Rangers about helping Katherine and they said that they would be glad to help.
The two weeks came really fast and all the Rangers were anxious to see one another. The Dino Thunder teens graduated and had their parties. Two days before Katherine was going to be in town, Dr. Tommy Oliver left for the dig and the day that Katherine was moving in, a summer school class was visiting the dig with someone he recognized.
“EMILY!” Tommy yelled over the chattering twelve year olds. Emily spotted Tommy and made her way to him.
“Well, Dr. Oliver,” Emily said as she gave him a friendly hug. “I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?”
“Good. I talked with your husband two weeks ago. I have been teaching and the school year just ended. It has been one heck of a year.”
“First year in teaching?”
“Yeah, plus all the attacks from monsters in the city. I thought I got away from that.” Tommy said annoyed. Emily giggled.
“Luckily both Angel Grove and Reefside had Power Rangers. Without them, the monsters would wreak havoc.”
“Yeah. So, I heard that the class was coming, but I didn't expect to see you here.”
“I am volunteering. The youth center is under repair and the kids I usually watch are taking summer school, so…….”
“You decided to volunteer at the school instead,” Tommy said finishing her sentence.
“Exactly. And I assume you are the guy in charge, right?”
“Yeah, kind of. They called me to look at something and to supervise for a few days. The guy in charge is on a business trip.” Suddenly there was a bunch of screaming and people franticly running over the hill beside them. “What the heck?” All of a sudden a fifteen-foot lizard came over the hill and started yelling at all the people fleeing.
“OH MY GOD!!” Emily said as she cowered behind Tommy. Tommy went for his Dino Morpher, but realized that he couldn't morph due to the fact that the powers were gone and that he didn't have it on him.
“Emily, get back!” Tommy said as he motioned for her to run. When he looked back however, the giant lizard had noticed him and began to charge at him. “OH CRAP!!!” Tommy ran as fast as he could, but tripped as he tried running up the next hill. Tommy closed his eye tightly as he braced for the impact, but opened them again when he realized that he hadn't been run over. He opened his eyes and saw that it was sniffing him. “What?” The lizard had stopped right in front of him. It then it looked like it smiled and then in a big burst turn to dust.
“What in the world?” Emily said in disbelief. She ran up to Tommy. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah,” Tommy said as he brushed himself off. “That was a lizard!”
“That wasn't a dinosaur?”
“No it wasn't and the way it acted. It looked like it was trying to scare people away, not attack.”
“What do we do?” Emily said.
“Let's see where it came from first….over this way.” Tommy and Emily headed toward the direction that the huge lizard had come from. There they found a cave with huge reptilian footprints coming from it. “My guess……….it came from there.” he said sarcastically.
“What gave you that clue?” Emily said as sarcastic as Tommy did. They walked into the cave and looked around. On one wall, they could see what looked like scale formations on the wall which indicated that the lizard had been sealed there.
“Yep, it was definitely here,” Tommy said as he touched the wall. “I wonder what it was protecting.”
“And why didn't it attack you? That is strange.”
“I don't know.”
“Hey, what's this?” Emily said as she pointed to the wall at the back of the cave. She found an engraved design on the wall. Tommy took out a flashlight from his vest and shined it on the wall.
“Some sort of mark…..” Tommy said as he used a brush to dust off the dirt on it. Then, Tommy grew wide-eyed in surprise. 'Zordon's symbol!?' he said to himself. 'Zordon, what did you bury in here?' Tommy went to touch the symbol, but then stopped just inches of touching it. He could feel that something was wrong and that he shouldn't touch it.
“GAAAAA!!! A snake!” Emily said as she jumped back and into Tommy. Tommy's hand touched the design and Tommy looked up at it in horror.
“Aw man!” The cave began to shake as dust from the ceiling wall began to fall. “Oh no! Emily! We have to get out of here! NOW!” Tommy grabbed Emily's wrist and began running. Rocks started to fall around them as they made their way to the cave entrance. As soon as they were about to go outside, a huge boulder came falling down on top of them. “NOOOOOOO!!!”

The next day back in Reefside, Conner and the other Dino Thunder teens were just pulling up to Katherine's new house at around nine'o clock in the morning.
“Conner, are you sure that this is the right house?” Kira asked.
“Yeah, 6490 Juniper Road. This is it,” Conner said as he and the others got out of his car. The other rangers followed Conner to the front door and he rang the doorbell. The door was opened a few seconds later by Katherine.
“Hey, are you Katherine?” Ethan asked.
“Yes, I am,” she said with a smile on her face. “Are you Dr. Oliver's students?”
“Yep!” Conner said. “I am Conner. This is Kira, Ethan and Trent. We are here to help.”
“Thank you. This way.” She led them inside. The house had a whole bunch of boxes stacked in the corners and had most of the big furniture in. “Tommy has talked so much about the four of you. I hear that you guys graduated and are going to college.”
“Yeah, but I feel kind of bad though,” Kira said. “We got really attached to Dr. O and I hate to leave him behind.”
“Don't worry,” Trent said. “He has my dad, Hayley and Elsa to keep him company, plus Katherine now.”
“I need to meet them,” Katherine said.
“So, you are the Dino Thunder Rangers, huh?” a male voice said behind Ethan. They turned to find Jason.
“They don't look that strong,” Rocky said as he came up from behind Jason.
“Hmph,” Conner said as he walked up to Rocky. “Appearances can be deceiving.”
“That is something Tommy would say,” Jason said. “He is definitely one of Tommy's students.”
“Where are Tanya and Adam, Jason?” Katherine asked.
“Upstairs working on your guest room. So, how was your school year, not including your Rangering on the side?”
“Fine, I got good grade and so did the everyone else,” Kira said.
“I got a C in Dr. O's class though,” Conner said. “Science isn't my best subject. Plus, Dr. O lays on the homework.”
“I am not surprised,” Adam said as he and Tanya walked up behind the Dino Thunder teens and Katherine. “Tommy is like that.”
“Done upstairs, Kat,” Tanya said. “Your room and the guest room.”
“Thanks guys, it would have taken forever to do everything,” Katherine said.
“Wait! You're all done already?” Ethan said.
“No just with upstairs,” Rocky said. “We need to get Kat's living room and kitchen in order and then we will be done. We started at about seven this morning.”
“Ok, why don't we all take a break and talk about one another and about our adventures as being Rangers,” Jason said. They talked for a good long time about their adventures. Jason talked about the first Rangers ever, but he didn't tell them how Tommy became a Ranger. He had figured the Dino Thunder Rangers knew about Tommy's Green Ranger history (everyone but Trent knew.)
“And Dr. O told us not to tell you this, but……” Conner said. “Dr. O got stuck in his Ranger suit for about a month.”
“WHAT?! You're kidding me?” Jason said astonished as the rest of the Zeo Rangers started to laugh uncontrollably. “How did he manage to do that?”
“It is my fault,” Trent said. “I incased him in amber when I was evil and for some reason, he couldn't demorph. Hayley said that it had to do something with the amber and his Dino Gem. We got him out by putting this green ooze on his suit, but then he was invisible for about three days.”
“Yeah, we wondered how he could hold going to the bathroom for so long,” Ethan said.
“Eww, Ethan,” Kira said as she elbowed. The Rangers started to cry because they were laughing so hard.
“How did he become visible again?” Tanya said. “Did it wear off or something?”
“No, Hayley found a way, but it almost killed him,” Trent said.
“What!?” Katherine said.
“It electrocuted him and we put him in the hospital,” Kira said. “Thank god he woke up in time to help us. We were getting attacked.”
“Oh jeez!” Adam said. “Never a dull moment when you are a ranger, huh.” Everyone nodded in agreement.
“Oh no,” Katherine said as she realized how much time had past. “We have been talking for almost two hours. We need to finish guys.”
“Wait, isn't Justin coming at two?” Adam asked. “He said that he was going to come and help.”
“Yeah he is coming.”
“Good,” Jason said. “Let's finish and then we will figure out what to do for lunch.”
“We can order pizza,” Rocky said.
“Sounds cool,” Conner said.
“I am going to check on Emily,” Jason said. “She was going somewhere yesterday with her summer school job. I want to ask her how it was.” Jason when to a corner with his cell phone and started to dial.
“Hey, we should invite Hayley,” Ethan said. “That way you can meet her.”
“That is a good idea,” Tanya said. “The more people you know, Kat, the better.”
“That's strange,” Jason said as he hung up his cell phone.
“What is?” Trent asked.
“I called her cell and the home phone and she didn't answer either one.”
“Did she turn off her phone?” Tanya said.
“No, it just keeps ringing. Hmmph. I will try later.” The Rangers finished the last of the unpacking and order the pizzas for them to eat. When they were almost done, Hayley came over and introduced herself and not to far behind, Justin came. They had a great time while they talked at dinner.
“You are the first ranger to be the youngest?” Ethan asked. “Man, I thought we were young.”
“I was 12 when I got the Turbo powers,” Justin said. “I am 19 now. So, I think that I am able to actually fit in my suit now.”
“Yeah and you aren't as annoying,” Tanya said.
“What?!” The older Rangers began to laugh. “What is that suppose to mean?”
“Nothing, I was kidding.” Jason walked again to the corner to call Emily again.
“We should have some sort of Ranger reunion,” Trent said. “That way we can share stories and things with one another.”
“That would be cool,” Adam said, “but how would we keep it a secret from the public? That is the whole issue.”
“I could do it,” Hayley said. “I am the manager of Hayley's Cyber Café, aren't I?”
“Really?” Katherine said. “You own a café?”
“Yeah, Trent is also a waiter there. Trent you would mind being the waiter that night would you?”
“Of course not,” Trent said with a huge smile on his face. “Meeting all the Rangers would be awesome.”
“I think we should really do this.”
“Yeah,” everyone said. All except Jason, who had a look of dismay on his face, went he came back to the group.
“Jason, what's wrong?” Tanya said with a look of concern.
“She……is missing,” Jason said.
”What?! What do you mean?” Katherine asked,
“I didn't get an answer again on both lines. So, I checked the answering machines messages by phone. I had a message from the school she was volunteering. They said……that something strange happened and she went missing.”
“Oh no!” Rocky said. “Did they tell you where exactly the place was?”
“Yeah, they said that they went to the Silver Hills to watch a live dig.” Hayley had a look of horror when she looked at Jason.
“The Silver Hills?” Hayley said to confirm it. Jason nodded.
“That is where Tommy when to go dig!”
“You're kidding?!” Jason said surprised. Hayley shook her head.
“Let me call him,” Hayley said as she took out her cell phone and dialed his cell number.
“Hayley?” Tanya said. “Anything?” Hayley's look said it all. Her face was pale and worried.
“Great, now what do we do?” Rocky said. “We need to find the both of them.”
“I agree, Rocky,” Jason said. “We need to go there. Now.”
“We are going too,” Conner said as he stood up along with the other Dino Thunder Rangers. “We want to make sure that Dr. O is alright.”
“Ok, but if anything happens, you do what I say. Alright?” The Dino Thunder Rangers nodded.
“Let me get scanning equipment,” Hayley said. “It will help us.”
“Good, lets go before it gets dark,” Adam said.
“Right!” Jason said.
The Rangers got into Jason and Conner's cars and drove up to the Silver Hills, which a good two hour drive. When they got to the dig site, there was no one there. There were equipment and tools everywhere. They could tell that people had left that place in a hurry.
“Wow,” Rocky said. “This place is deserted.”
“You could say that again,” Ethan said as the group of Rangers walked to the center of the dig site.
“What do you think caused the diggers to leave like that?” Trent asked.
“I think this might have,” Tanya said as she ran towards something on the ground.
“WHOA!” Conner said surprise. There they found a set of giant reptile footprints. “Are those dinosaur footprints?”
“I don't know,” Adam said, “but they were made recently.”
“Look, there's more,” Justin said as he pointed to prints.
“This is what must have scared everyone off,” Jason said.
“Let me scan the footprints to see if I get anything off it,” Hayley said as she took out a scanner from the car which was about the size of a large gun and started to scan the area. She started to walk around with it and then came up to footprints. “The readings tell me that the creature that made these was at least 10,000 years old.”
“Are you serious?” Kira said as she looked over Hayley's shoulder.
“They are coming from that direction,” Tanya said as she point toward a hill in the distance. They followed the steps until they came to a dead end near a pile of rocks on the side of a hill.
“They lead to here, but all that is here is rocks,” Hayley said.
“Maybe it came behind the rocks,” Conner said as he began to move the rocks.
“Great idea, Conner,” Trent said as he began to help him. The other Rangers started to help the two teens. Little do they know that they were being watched.
“Is these people the Rangers, my servant?” a subtle charming male voice said.
“Yes, my lord,” a monotone male voice said. “Two groups of them.”
“Good. Do you know which ones they are?”
“Yes, my lord. The blonde, the African American in yellow, the short hair man in blue and the green one next to him are the Zeo Rangers. They are considered to be the strongest Rangers in existence.”
“Who are the others?”
“The white teenager in blue is Justin, the other teenager in blue is Ethan, that is Kira, Trent and Conner,” the monotone voice said as he pointed to each one of them. “They are the Dino Thunder Rangers. The red hair woman there is not a Ranger, but she builds things for them. I would suggest not taking her lightly.”
“Noted. Who is the last one in red there?”
“That is Jason. He is one of the Rangers leaders. He can be dangerous to our plan. If you take him down, the others will fall. He is the first red Ranger of Earth.”
“So Zordon picked that chump?” the charming male voice said.
“Jason is a ranger?” a female voice said as she entered the room. “That is news to me. I want to take care of him myself.”
“Patience, my dear. Patience. Let us go meet with them personally.” The three teleported out of their hidden headquarters and made their way to the other Rangers. Meanwhile, the Rangers finally broke through all the rocks.
“There is a cave,” Adam said.
“Let's look inside,” Jason said as the Rangers followed him into the cave. “Hayley, are you getting any readings?”
“Yeah, I am,” Hayley said. “I am getting strange readings from the back of the cave down there.”
“Let's check it out,” Jason said. They all went to the back of the cave where they found reptilian scales set in the rock walls.
“Whoa! There had to be a huge monster,” Trent said. “This proves it.”
“What's this?” Katherine said, as she looked deeper into the back of the cave. The Rangers went farther into the cave.
“It's a crypt,” Rocky said.
“Someone must have been buried here,” Adam said.
“Or sealed here,” Tanya said with a serious tone. “Look!” She pointed to the same symbol Tommy had found before, but it was in two pieces on the ground. The Rangers walked up to Tanya, bent down and looked at the broken seal.
“That looks like……” Jason said as he picked it up and put the two pieces together. Everyone but the Dino Thunder Rangers gasped.
“Zordon's symbol!” Rocky said. “That means that Zordon was imprisoning someone here.”
“But who?” Kira said.
“Me!” a male voice said. The Rangers turned around to find a young Japanese man that looked about the age of 25 in white Japanese garment standing in the crypt. He had bandages covering his left eye and he had long black hair. The Rangers stood up and got into defensive stances.
“Who are you?” Conner snapped.
“Hmmm,” the man said. His voice was the subtle charming one. “So these are the warriors that Zordon chose to battle Rita. How weak you all are.”
“You knew Zordon?” Adam said.
“Why yes. He was an Eltarian with absurd ideas of peace and harmony in the universe. He was a fool. We didn't get along well.”
“So we assume that Zordon sealed you here after he defeated you?” Katherine said.
“His warriors did, not him,” the man said. “I was only serving my master, Dark Spector when I attacked Earth. His Morphin Warriors used all their power to take me down and seal me here. I did manage to curse one of them though.” He looked at Jason in surprise. “Hmm?! My my, you look just like the leader of the Morphin Warriors.”
“What?” Jason said confused.
“You must be a descendent of that warrior. I am not surprised. The one that release me from this crypt was another person that looked like one of the other Morphin Warriors. The one I cursed.” At that moment, Kira stepped on something on the ground. She looked down and noticed that it was a flashlight. Then she looked in horrified as she could see the initials on the flashlight. “T.O.”
“No,” Kira said abruptly and then snapped at the man. “What do you do with Dr. Oliver?!”
“Is that what you call him?” he said smiled. “He will quite useful to me. The girl that was with him, too. He fought so hard to keep her safe from me. Too bad though. I captured the both of them.” The other Ranger knew then that the man that released him was Tommy.
“Tommy would never release any evil like you!” Hayley yelled. “He wouldn't….”
“But he did,” the man interrupted. “By accident really, but he did.” The Rangers grew angry with the man.
“We will seal you back in here!” Ethan yelled.
“Hmmph! With no powers, I doubt that.”
“How did you know?” Tanya stammered out.
“I have my sources. I also heard that Zordon also sacrificed himself to defeat the overrun of Dark Spector's forces of evil. Too bad that he only eliminated the ones attacking at that moment. Otherwise, I won't be alive to attack you now.” An energy ball formed in the man's hand and he slammed it down into the ground. The crypt shook and then black ooze with rocks in them began to come up in columns and then into figures. “My energy clones…destroy them.” The clones lunged themselves at the Rangers.
“Look out!” Adam yelled. For every Ranger, there were five clones on them. Kira ran to the wall trying to find an escape route, but realized that she had trapped herself in a corner. She swore under her breath.
“Hayley, stay back!” Jason said as he motioned her to get to the back of the cave.
“Right!” she answered and did what Jason said.
“Kira!” Tanya yelled as she and Katherine made their way to her. However, one of the clones grabbed Katherine's hair and as Katherine screamed, it began to try to pull her into its body.
“No!” Kira yelled as she ran up and used a karate kick to make it let go of Katherine. “Hey, I thought my moves came from the Dino Gem.” She began to kick and punch the snot out of the clone.
“Wow!” Tanya said impressed. “Don't get her mad.”
“Come on Tanya,” Katherine said. “Let's help her.”
“Oh……yeah!” The girls began to defeat all off their clones.
“HI-YAH!!!!” Ethan said as he kicked one of the clones into the wall and then turned around to fight the next one. Ethan saw that Rocky and Justin had three of them clinging themselves onto both of them. “Hey snot heads!” The clones looked up as one was hit in the head with a small object. They looked at toward who had thrown it, but when they did, Rocky and Justin grabbed one of them each and hit both into another one and into the coffin that was in the crypt. Ethan hit the other in the face.
“Thanks, Ethan,” Rocky said as he looked at Ethan. Ethan bent down and picked up the object he threw.
“You threw your Game Boy at him?!' Justin said laughing and surprised.
“I needed to get their attention somehow.”
“Nice!”
“Watch it!” Trent yelled as one of the clones was flying back directly at Rocky, Justin and Ethan. The two stepped out of the way.
“Behind you!” Justin said to Trent. One of the clones was about to fall on top of Trent, but then a green streak came up behind Trent and kicked the clone.
“Adam!” Justin said.
“Nice save!” Rocky said.
“Thanks,” Trent said.
Conner grabbed on to the back of the one of them and saw that Jason was pinning one of the arms of the clone.
“Jason!” Conner said with a smile and Jason knew instantly what Conner was implying and nodded in agreement. The two Rangers sent the clones they were holding into each other and they became one big pile of ooze and rumble. After that happened, all of the clones were gone.
“Hmmm, impressive,” the man said. “Not bad for not having Ranger powers.”
“We have powers!” Rocky said. All the Rangers looked at him weird. “Just……..not…..here…..”
At that moment, two figures came up from behind the man into the light.
“Rangers?!” Katherine uttered as she and the rest of the other Rangers gasped in surprise. They could tell that these two Rangers were evil. The shields on their suits were jagged and the helmets had strange symbols on them. The female had evil shades of pink and purple swirling together on her suit while the male had red and black.
“Ah, Majo and Oni,” The man said. “My loyal Rangers.”
“How?” Tanya said shocked.
“They don't look like much of a challenge, Ichijin-sama,” the girl said.
“Careful Majo,” the male Ranger said. His voice was the monotone one. “Don't underestimate them. They are stronger than you think.”
“Whatever, Oni. Let me handle them myself.” She held her weapon in front of her and it began to glow. It looked like a staff with a crescent shaped blade pointing outward on the top. All of a sudden, blade burst into flames and she swung the staff toward the former Rangers sending the fire at them.
“LOOK OUT!” Jason yelled as he tried to shield three of the Dino Thunder Rangers.
“What do we do Jase?” Rocky said as all of the Rangers huddled up together to try to keep away from the fire.
“If we don't fight, they will kill us,” Conner said.
“But they will kill us anyway if we do fight,” Justin said.
“That is better than just standing here,” Adam said.
“You're right Conner,” Jason said as he looked back at Ichijin, Majo and Oni through the flames. “We can't just go out without a fight! We're Rangers till the end!”
“YEAH!” the Rangers yelled. They looked back at the evil Rangers and ran through the flames and into their fighting stances with looks of determination on their faces.
“Hmm. Looks like they have some guts after all,” Majo said. She then swung the staff again and ice shards came shooting out from it. The Rangers scattered in all directions to try and dodge the attack. Tanya and Kira came up to Majo and tried to tackle her, but Majo stepped out of the way before they could grab her and retaliated by hitting them with the staff. They fell forward into the wall that was right behind Majo. “Hee hee. Who is next?”
The Rangers stepped back in hesitation before Rocky and Adam tried to run towards her. They jumped into the air and began to try and kick her, but she then sent lightning at them to stop them in their tracks and then get flung back into the rest of the Rangers.
“Hmmm, well. Oni. Majo,” Ichijin said smugly. “Looks like we will have no resistance from them. Come.” The three turned to leave.
“Come back here!” Conner said as he ran toward Ichijin.
“Conner!” Jason said as he ran after him.
Conner went to punch Ichijin, but then he found himself falling when Oni tripped him and pushed him to the ground hard. Jason saw this and ran to fight Oni. Jason with all of his might tried to land anything of Oni, but found that Oni was merely dodging every single one. At one point though, Jason swung a punch to Oni's face and missed and then Oni came in and punched Jason in the stomach. Jason doubled over in pain from the punch and Oni threw him to the ground. Jason got to his knees but then he found himself throwing up. Oni had hit him hard.
“Pathetic,” Oni said and kicked Jason in the face sending him flying onto his back. Jason's nose began to bleed.
“JASON!” the Rangers and Hayley said as they ran toward him. They could see the red mark on Jason's face where Oni had hit him. Jason looked back at Oni with hate in his eyes.
“You can't win, Rangers,” Ichijin said. “If you can't even lay a finger on either one of my Chaos Rangers, then there is no hope in stopping me.” Ichijin and the two Chaos Rangers turned to exit the crypt as Ichijin laughed evilly. They disappeared into the darkness.
“Jason, are you ok?” Hayley said as he and Katherine tried to get him on his feet.
“Yeah,” Jason said as he brushed the blood coming from his nose. “They are going to pay for this.”
“We can't let them attack the city!” Kira said. “What do we do?”
“I don't know Kira……..I don't know….”
“Jason! “ Katherine said. “Adam and the rest of us still have our Zeonizers. We can try to do something to stop them.”
“Kat, we do but,” Rocky said as the other three Zeo Rangers showed their wrists. “We left them in Angel Grove.”
“We don't have power,” Ethan said as the Dino Rangers showed the others their Dino bracelets. “Our Dino Gems lost their power in the final fight we had with Mesogog.”
“I can go back with the other Zeos to get my morpher, but then that leaves…..” Jason said.
“I know,” Katherine said. “I have to fight alone.”
“What!?” Conner and the other Dino Thunders said.
“You won't stand a chance!” Hayley said.
“I know….” Katherine said, ”but I can't just stand here and do nothing.”
“Let's hurry!” Adam said. “We have to get back here as soon as possible. Who knows when they are going to strike.”
“Yes,” Jason said as he nodded in agreement.
“No!” Rocky said. “Jason, we can get your morpher. You need to rest!”
“I agree with Rocky,” Hayley said. “You need to be bandaged up and have rest. Oni hit you pretty hard.”
“Ok, fine,” Jason said a little annoyed. He understood, but didn't like it. “Go! Now! Katherine will need help when they attack!”
“Right!” the Zeo Rangers said. All the Rangers went back to Katherine's house. There, Katherine found her Zeonizer and the other Zeos left to get Jason's and their morphers. For the next few hours, Katherine and the other Rangers who had stayed waited impatiently for Ichijin to attack Reefside.
