Scene: Coral Bay Airport.
Anna is sitting outside a gate, wearing a white zip-up sweatshirt, faded capris and a pair of pink and white sandals. She looks at her watch, and taps her foot, angry that the plane she is waiting for is late.
Anna: Come on, come on.
She looks out the window, and sees the plane land, and come up the runway. Minutes later, the passengers begin to exit the plane. A tall, Caucasian male with short black hair, wearing a blue button shirt, dark blue jeans, and some white sneakers exits, and waves.
Boy: Anna Over here
Ana jumps up from her chair, and runs towards him. She jumps up, and wraps her arms around him.
Anna: Taylor I’m so glad you’re here
(Opening Credits)
Act 1
Scene: Coral Bay/Highway 95.
Anna’s white VW Beetle is driving down the road. Anna and Taylor are talking, and listening to the radio. The song “Screwed” by Paris Hilton is playing on the station Z100.
Taylor: What are we listening to?
Anna: Paris Hilton I love this song.
She turns up the radio, and begins to sing along with it.
Anna: Since I’m already screwed, here’s a message to you. God, I love this song
Taylor: You’re crazy. Hey, that’s a pretty cool bracelet. A lion? Nice.
Anna: Thanks.
A black Blazer drives up behind them, and begins riding on Anna’s bumper. She looks in her rear view mirror, and sees it.
Anna: What is this guy doing?
He turns into the next lane, and speeds up, and passes her. Once he is front of her, he slows down. Anna, who is getting angry with this driver, leans on her horn. The driver speeds up, and disappears into the distance.
Anna: Ass.
Scene: The Forest Temple.
Landon, Andy and Josh enter, wearing colored sweat suits, each with their animal etched into their backs. Their faces are red, and sweaty. They have just come from testing out the new simulator that Andy has built. Leah comes running in, also wearing a colored sweat suit, with her animal etched into the back.
Leah: Come on guys Let’s do that again
Landon: Maybe later. I think we’re all a little tired.
Leah: I think you guys are mad that you got beat by a girl
Scene: Coral Bay/Highway 95.
Anna and Taylor are continuing their drive down the highway. Anna turns to get off an exit. As she gets off the exit, she slams on her brakes, as the Blazer cuts her off, and screeches to a halt.
Anna: What the hell?
She leans on the horn. The driver door of the Blazer opens up, and Anna gasps in shock, as Valkon steps out from the vehicle.
Anna: No way. Taylor, get out of the car
She and Taylor get out of the car, just in time, as Valkon fired an energized blast from his sword, which struck the car, blowing it up. Anna rolls out of the way of the explosion, and slowly rises up.
Anna: You better hope my insurance covers this
Anna looks around, but, cannot find Valkon anywhere. She feels a presence from behind her, and turns. Valkon is standing there, his arm around Taylor’s neck.
Anna: You better let him go, jerk off.
Valkon: And, what if I don’t?
Anna: If you don’t, you’re going to regret it.
She goes to flick her wrist, to summon her morpher, but, realizes she can’t, because Taylor is there, and she can’t risk revealing her identity.
Valkon: What’s the matter, White Ranger? Can’t morph?
Taylor: What’s he talking about?
Anna sighs, as she realizes that her cover has been blown. She flicks her wrist, summoning her morpher.
Anna: Mystra is going to kill me for this, but...Spirits of the Jungle, Awaken and Transform
She morphs into the White Ranger. Taylor stares in shock. He can’t believe that his own cousin is the White Lion Ranger, one of the protectors of Coral Bay.
Valkon: Excellent.
He throws Taylor to the ground, and draws his saber. White Ranger draws her Jungle Blaster, and converts in into the Jungle Blade. The two leap forward, clashing their weapons. Sparks fly, as the blades connect.
White Ranger: Just who do you think you are, attacking me and my cousin like that?
Valkon: I think that I am Valkon, Warrior Supreme of the planet Onyx. And, I think you just walked into my trap.
He slashes her across the chest, sending her flying backwards. Valkon flips backwards, and points his hand forward, releasing an energy net, which wraps around Taylor, and the White Ranger, causing her to demorph. Bolts of energy dance around the net, causing them to scream out in pain. Valkon’s dark laughter fills the air.
