I am having trouble with the chin on the mmpr blue ranger helmet. I can't find any good pictures of the underside of the helmet. my base for the sculpt is half the size a real head so I'm doubling everything.. but the chin is confusing me... he under part of it.

I dont know but here is a site I found that says they have draw catches
Draw Catches (http://www.profhdwr.com/00864.htm)
I also have another question what would hold the two halves of the helmet together. I dont mean to close the helmet but to attach it to the other half and make it so it opens and close's if you know what I mean.

yeah well as lowtech as it sounds even in the show they use insustrial strents outdoor double sided mounting tape. sounds shitty but its what is used :-)

for me i'm gonna try and use velcro on teh inside to hold it together, dunno if its gonna work but its worht a shot since the pins are really annoying me

youd have to create some sort of overlap if your using velcro becareful tho as your hair could get caught in the velcro
