Power Rangers Spirits of the Jungle-Episode Five-True To Your Heart

[GeoRanger]

Scene: Coral Bay High/Chemistry Lab. Andy and Leah are sitting at on the tables, mixing chemicals into cylinders, and taking notes on their reactions. Leah is wearing a yellow blouse, faded jeans, and some white shoes. Andy is wearing a navy blue button shirt, khaki pants, and some tan shoes. He is also wearing his glasses. He picks the cylinder with a light blue colored liquid in it, and puts it on top of the Bunsen Burner. Leah begins to jot down some notes, as the liquid begins to bubble.

Andy: So, Landon and Anna are going to the dance together?

Leah: Yeah. It’s not like we all didn’t see that one coming.

Andy: True. So, do we have a Student Council meeting today?

Leah: No. I’ve got to go set up the gym for the dance.

Andy: Oh. Do you need some help?

Leah: Nope. Josh is going to come down and help.

Andy: Oh.

He looks away from her, and grabs a test tube with a light yellow colored liquid. He carefully pours it in the bubbling blue liquid, changing it to a bubbling green. He takes off his glasses, and looks at Leah, while she takes down more notes. His is upset that she has been spending a lot of time with Josh lately. He sighs. He continues to stare at her passionately.

Leah: Andy. Andy Andy, are you in there?

She snaps his fingers in front of his face, and he blinks, and shakes his head.

Leah: Um, is it supposed to do that?

She points towards the green liquid, and shows him that is bubbling over the top.

Andy: Crap

He quickly shuts of the flame, and grabs some paper towels from the roll of them sitting near the table. As he cleans up the mess, Leah watches him, and laughs.

Scene: Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina is sitting in her library, flipping through the pages of the Book of Elcron. She is still upset over the defeat of Mihira. She stops at a page, and smiles wickedly.

Queen Hedrina: Well, I think this should work.

(Opening Credits)
Act 1

Scene: Coral Bay High/Gymnasium. Leah and Josh are decorating the gym with navy blue, gold and white decorations. Josh is wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, and some black and white shoes. Anna enters, wearing her navy, gold and white Cheerleading uniform, and white shoes. In her arms, she has a large, rolled up sheet of paper.

Leah: Anna, thank God Please tell me that is our banner.

Anna: It is. Josh, can you do me a favor, and get us a ladder?

Josh: Yeah, sure. Let me go find one of the janitors.

He exits, and Anna walks over to Leah. She kneels down, and rolls out the banner. Written is huge, blue letters, are the words “Coral Bay High Senior Homecoming Masquerade”, with gold glitter outline.

Leah: Very nice.

Anna: Thanks. So, I have to ask, do you have a date yet?

Leah: No, not yet. Besides, who says I need a date anyway?

Anna: Leah, do you remember the promise we made ourselves Freshman year? We said we’d have boyfriends by now. Well, in order to get a boyfriend, you kind of need to have a first date. You don’t have that.

Leah: Anna, aren’t you going to miss your bus? You guys are going to Blue Bay Harbor. That’s like, 30 minutes from here.

Anna: Yeah, I’d better go. We’ll talk about this later.

She gets up to leave, as Josh re-enters, carrying a large ladder.

Josh: Alright, Let’s hang this sucker up.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina is sitting on her throne, with her second Deva standing before her. This creature is a female warrior, with the head of a rabbit. She has light brown fur, and thick, silver armor. At her waist, she has a golden handled sword, with a long, silver blade.

Queen Hedrina: Antyla, your time is coming. In just sixty minutes, you shall reach full power

Antyla: Yes my Queen. And once I do, those Power Rangers will be destroyed.

Scene: Coral Bay High/Gymnasium. Andy enters, carrying a dark blue binder. He walks up to

Leah, and smiles.

Leah: Hey, what’s up?

Andy: Well, just though I’d let you know. We have some extra money left over from the budget. Now, we can get a really good DJ.

Leah: Good. Anyone will be better then last year’s Spring Formal DJ.

Andy: So, where’s Josh?

Leah: Oh, he had to leave. His mom needed him.

Andy: Oh, well, I could help for a few minutes. I’ve got to pick up my little brother soon.

Leah: That would be great. I need all the help I can get. I can’t lift that table by myself. And, it really needs to get moved.

They walk over, and pick up the table, and begin walking towards the closed bleachers.

Leah: Here’s good.

They put it down, and Leah walks over towards all her remaining decorations. She picks up a small package, and opens up the white table cloth. She walks over, and begins to lay it out on the table.

Leah: So, what do you think of me asking Josh to the dance.

Andy: Josh? Why him?

Leah: Because, he’s sweet, and I like him. Do you have a problem with that?


Andy: Well, yeah.

Leah: Why?

Andy: Because I do.

Leah: Ok. Why?

Andy: Gee I don’t know, maybe because of the way he treated you when he first got here. And maybe because...

Leah: Because...?

Andy turns, and begins to walk away.

Leah: Andrew Matthew Harris, get back here

Andy: I’ve got to go. My little brother’s waiting.

He exits the gym, and Leah sighs.

(Commercials)

Act 2

Scene: Coral Bay. We had down one of the residential streets, and stop outside a large, two-story, brick house. A new, black Honda Element pulls in the driveway, and parks. Andy exits from the

driver’s side, and walks over to the rear, passenger side door. He opens it, and a younger, Caucasian male with short, brown hair exits. He is wearing an orange shirt, blue jean shorts, and some silver and blue sneakers. Leah’s Altima pulls into the driveway, and she exits it.

Andy: Mike, go inside and get a snack. I’ll be inside in a few minutes.


Mike: Okie dokie Andy.

He runs inside, and Andy turns to Leah.
Andy: What are you doing here?

Leah: We weren’t finished talking.

Andy: Actually, we were.

Leah: You go ahead and think that. Andy, you’re hiding something. You don’t want me asking Josh to the dance. I understand that. But, I don’t understand why. He was a jerk to all of us, but he changed, and we all see that.

Andy: Yeah, so.

Leah: So why don’t you want me asking him?

Andy: I just don’t.

Leah: Why?


Andy: Because.

Leah: Are we going to play the ‘why’ game all day? Because why Andy?

Andy: You want to know why? Well then, here’s why. I’ve always been here for you. Always. When your parents disappeared, who was your crying shoulder? Josh? No It was me. Then, he
rolls into town, and suddenly it’s like I was never here. Leah, I’ve always been here, but you have never noticed

Scene: Blue Bay Harbor High School Football Field. There’s a time-out, and the teams are huddled around their coaches. The Coral Bay Mantas are leading the way, 14 to 10. While the teams discuss, the Cheerleaders are preforming their routines, trying to get the people in the stands excited.

Anna: Alright, let’s do this.

She and her squad step forward, and begin to clap their hands, and start their routine.

Cheerleaders: The Mantas are here Stand up and cheer The Mantas are here Stand up and cheer

Anna, and two other members of the squad run forward, and preform some round-off back-hand springs across the track surrounding the field. They run back, and join the squad, and soon begin some dance steps, and start their next cheer.

Cheerleaders: Clap your hands, and stomp your feet. And listen tot he sound of the Manta’s beat.
As they preform the routine, roars of applause fill the stands. As the game resumes, a blast of energy strikes the center of the field. Antyla appears, kneeling. She seems to be a lot bigger then when we last saw her. She stands up, her yes glowing red. She snarls, revealing her fangs. People
run, screaming, as the demon draws her saber, and fires blasts of energy from it. Landon throws his football helmet to the ground, and runs to Anna.


Landon: Call the others. I’ll hold this thing off.

Scene: Coral Bay/Andy’s House. Leah is standing, shocked at what she has just heard. She couldn’t believe that Andy likes her. Andy bites his lip, realizing what he just yelled. Their bracelets beep, and flash their respective colors. They both sigh in relief.


Leah: Go ahead.

Anna: ‘Guys. There’s another Deva attacking. Come to Blue Bay Harbor High, quick ’

Leah cuts off the link, and looks at Andy.

Leah: We need to talk.

Andy: Well, not now. We need to go help Landon and Anna. Are you ready?

Leah nods, and they flick their wrists, summoning their morphers.


Both: Spirits of the Jungle, Awaken and Transform

Scene: Blue Bay Harbor High School Football Field. Landon and Anna have morphed, and are battling Antyla. Using his Condor Saber, Red Ranger leaps forward, and slashes the demon on her chest. White Ranger twirls her Lion Daggers, and slashes the demon as well. Antyla just laughs. The two Rangers run forward, and leap into the air. They extend their legs forward, and prepare
to plant their kicks. Antyla grabs their legs, and hurls them across the football field. The two land hard at the opposite end of the field.


Antyla: Touch down
A surge of water strikes her on her chest, causing her to fly back. We see the Blue Ranger standing there, his right hand extended forward.

Blue Ranger: Sorry, but, you’re all washed up.

???: Couldn’t come up with a better line then that?


He turns to see the Black Ranger running on to the scene.
Blue Ranger: ‘To himself’ Great. He’s here. I’ve got to do something.

As he is thinking of a plan to impress himself in front of Leah, Antyla runs forward, her blade in hand, and slashes him across the chest, causing sparks to fly on impact.

Blue Ranger: You’re going to wish you didn’t do that.

The orb on his belt flashes blue, and his Shark Staff appears in his hand.

Blue Ranger: Tidal Surge

He begins to twirl his staff, summoning a whirlpool of energy in front of him. Using his staff, he slashes diagonally through it. The whirlpool spins forward, and strikes Antyla. She falls back, and lands hard.


Blue Ranger: Take this

He leaps forward, and slashes the demon across her chest. He continues to strike at Antyla, who blocks the attacks with her sword. Black Ranger runs forward, and goes to attack. Before he can land a punch, Blue Ranger pushes out of the way.

Black Ranger: Andy What’s your problem?


Blue Ranger ignores him, and continues battling. He spin kicks the demon, knocking her to the ground. He turns, and looks towards his friends. He smiles beneath his helmet when he sees Yellow Ranger.

Yellow Ranger: Andy

He turns again, and as he does, Antyla rises, and strikes him across the chest, causing him to fall to his knees, and demorph. Antyla goes to strike again, but is unable. A blur of yellow light runs past her, and grabs Andy. She stops by the bleachers, and demorphs.

Leah: Andy, wake up Please, wake up

Red Ranger: You’re gonna pay for what you did to my friend


He leaps into the air, and, using his power of air, he flies forward. He summons his saber, and glides his hand over the blade. Red energy engulfs the blade.

Red Ranger: Condor Claw


He slashes across Antyla’s chest, and red bolts of electricity dance around her body. She falls to the ground.

Antyla: This isn’t over Rangers.

She gets up, and disappears in a blast of energy.

Leah: Andy, wake up Please Andy


(Commercials)

Act 3

Scene: Forest Temple. Andy is lying, still unconscious, on one of the medical beds. His shirt has been removed, replaced by bandages wrapped around his body. His fellow Ranger’s are standing around him, all demorphed.
Josh: What was he doing out there? Why wouldn’t he let me help?

Leah bites her lip, knowing the answer to the question. She’s afraid to tell. She looks at Andy, and her eyes begin to fill up with tears.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina is sitting on her throne, and looks extremely happy with Antyla’s work. The Deva is knelt down before her mistress.

Queen Hedrina: Excellent job Antyla You’ve put a Ranger in the hospital. I’m sending you back up to the surface. Take care of the rest of them.

Antyla: Yes my Queen.

She rises, and disappears in a bolt of energy. The camera turns towards the hallway, and we see General Amadeon lurking in the shadows.
Amadeon: That foolish witch. Does she honestly think those puny Devas can destroy the Rangers? And, she actually believes I’m on her side. Ha She just has to wait. Wait until my true master arrives.

Scene: The Forest Temple. Alarms begin to ring. Mystra runs towards the Ranger teens.

Mystra: Antyla is back. She’s attacking the mall.

Anna: Is nothing sacred?

Landon: Let’s go guys.

Leah: Um, I think I’ll stay here. Wait for Andy to wake up.

Landon: Alright. We’ll call if we need you.

He, Anna and Josh flick their wrists, summoning their morphers.


Josh: Let’s take care of that rabbit.

All: Spirits of the Jungle, Awaken and Transform

Scene: Coral Bay Mall. Antyla is inside, attacking the food court. People run, screaming from the Deva, as she fires blasts of energy from her sword. The Red, Black, and White Rangers run onto the scene, firing blasts from their Jungle Blasters. The blasts bounce off of Antyla’s armor.

Antyla: Well, well, well. Where’s your little blue friend? How’s he doing?

White Ranger: You’re going to wish you didn’t say that.

The three Rangers transform their blasters into blade mode, and leap forward.

Scene: The Forest Chamber. Leah has pulled up a chair next to Andy’s bed. She is sitting there, thinking of all the times they shared since they were young. We see several flashback clips of them. One, is of the two of them, in kindergarten, meeting for the first time. Another, is them, as older kids, around ten, playing baseball at the park. We see them going to summer camp together, and then finally, we see them as teens, swimming in the pool, sitting on the bleachers, watching the football games, and then, we see them from earlier today, during their Chemistry class. We now see Leah, looking at him, thinking about what he had said to her earlier. Mystra enters.

Mystra: Leah, why didn’t you go and help the others?

Leah isn’t really paying attention. She continues to think. Soon, she turns, and answer Mystra:

Leah: He’s always been there for me.
Mystra: Who?

Leah: Andy. And now, I’ve got to be here to be here for him.
We see Andy’s eyes begin to slowly open.
Scene: Coral Bay Mall. A window shatters, as the Red, Black and White Rangers are hurled through it. Red Ranger extends his hand, and forms a red twister beneath them, and uses it to slowly bring them to the ground.

Black Ranger: Man, this chick is tough.

White Ranger: Yeah, we need Leah.

???: What, you don’t need me?

They turn to see the Yellow and Blue Rangers, standing, their arms crossed.
White Ranger: Andy You’re okay
She runs over and embraces him. Antyla flips down from the building, and lands before the Rangers.

Antyla: So, little boy blue, I see you’re back.

Blue Ranger: That’s right. And, we’re taking you down.

The five rangers summon their weapons, and combine them to form the Jungle Cannon.

Red Ranger: Fire

The blast shoots from the cannon, and strikes Antyla. The demon falls back, and explodes. The rangers turn from the explosion, each having their weapons in hand, and pose with them.

(Commercials)

Act 4

Scene: Coral Bay Mall/Parking Lot. A spinning vortex opens up in the sky. The remaining pieces of Antyla are sucked up into it, and the vortex closes. It reopens, and a larger version of Antyla appears.

Red Ranger: Well then, let’s do it.
All: Jungle Zords, Awaken

The five zords come running through the streets of the city, towards the rangers. They leap into the cockpits of them, and activate the controls.

Blue Ranger: Take this

He presses a single button on his control panel. The Blue Shark opens its mouth, and fires a surge of swirling blue energy from it. The blast strikes the Deva, sending backwards. She draws her saber, and begins to charge.
Blue Ranger: Landon, I think it’s Megazord time.
Red Ranger: Right. Combine

The zords combine to form the Jungle Spirit Megazord, with its sword in hand. The two swords clash, causing sparks to fly upon impact. The continue to clash, until Antyla’s flies from her hand.

All: Jungle Spirit Megazord, Final Strike

The Condor’s wings spread out, and the Megazord is lifted off the ground. It flies forward, towards Antyla, and slashes the Deva with its blade. Antyla falls back, and explodes. The five rangers cheer from within their cockpit.

Scene: Coral Bay/Andy’s house. It’s Saturday, the day of the Homecoming Masquerade. Andy is dressed in a black and gold trimmed outfit, like that of which a prince would wear. He looks at himself in the mirror, and sighs.

Andy: Well, all you need now is the princess.

???: Would this do?

He turns, and sees Leah standing in his room, wearing a light purple gown, with a matching tiara.

Andy: What are you doing here?
Leah: I’m here to pick up my date, that is, if you’ll have me.

Andy: What about Josh?

Leah: I realized something yesterday. There is one person who I’ve had feelings for. And, that’s you. So, do you want to go with me?

Andy: Of course. What kind of question is that?
Leah smiles.

Scene: Coral Bay High/Gym. The gym is decorated for the school’s dance. The Senior Class has filled the gym, and all the students are dressed up. Leah and Andy enter, their arms linked. Anna and Landon walk up to them. Anna is dressed in a long, flowing white gown, with a pair of white angel wings on her back. Landon is dressed in a pair of dark jeans, torn at the knees, a red and white stripped shirt, a black vest, a red bandana and a black eye patch.

Leah: An angel and a pirate? Interesting

Anna: I told you we should’ve coordinated Look at them Prince and Princess

Landon: I’m sorry

Andy: Where’s Josh? We need the whole group here.

???: Hola Señores y Señoritas. Zorro is here.

They turn, and see Josh, dressed up as Zorro himself. They try to hold it in, but, can’t help but laugh, as the music continues to play.

Actually, yes. There will be a team-up with a Ranger team from MMPR-SPD. But, not until the sixth ranger makes his appearance. So, it's going to be a while. Until then, my lips are sealed. :eusa_sile

I like a lot, especially the part where the General has another secret master of which he has allegiance. I wonder when this master of evil will begin to show itself? I liked the way the rangers are showing affectionate feelings towards each other. KIU the great work. :=)
