(Scene) Mountain Area/ Dark Lair
It's a beautiful clear night as the moon shines upon the surface of the Earth. Inside the Dark Lair we find that all the minions are fast asleep. Demonus sits upon his throne growling away in his slumber while Byrox and Zyon sat in their chairs with their feet propped up on the table snoring away. On the ground we find that the Scroll of Tythema had reformed itself and that the next seal was beginning to tear itself open. We hear a dark laughter sounding through the room, one that sounds darker than Demonus'.
Voice: You thought you destroyed my chance of escape, but you were so mistakened. I shall now release my next warrior to purge the land for my appearance.
A gust of wind blows the scroll out of through the entrance of the Lair and out on to a ledge. It rolls to the side where the seals were still visible. The next seal begins to crack until it finally breaks open and releases single a red beam of light that shoots up into the air. It turns into a red fireball that morphs into a male being completely made of fire.
Fire Being: I, Pyron, shall prepare the way for you master.
Pyron shoots off into the night sky towards the city. Inside the Lair Zyon awakens and decides to go outside to stretch his limbs a bit. He walks out on to the ledge and looks into the full moon and smiles. He turns to walk back inside and feels his feet stepping on something. Looking down a look of surprise comes over his face as he sees that scroll was still intact. He reaches down and picks it up and is again shocked to noticed that the second seal has been broken. Knowing that Demonus wasn't going to like this one bit he tucks the scroll into his jacket and walks back inside.
Zyon: Demonus must not know about this or all hell will break loose.
(Scene) Oakside Country Club
On the outskirts of the city, a residential developer was building a brand new townhouse country club. The houses were nearly completed, more construction work was still needed, but you could tell that they were in their finishing stages. In the air Pyron is seen flying over head looking at the accomplishments that the developers had made and began to scoff at it.
Pyron: Bah, mortals think they know everything and that they're all that. Well I think I'm going to have to knock them off that pedestal.
Pyron held his hands together and began forming a very large fireball. Aiming it at some of the houses he began shooting multiple fireballs blasting each of the house. Within a matter of seconds the houses were up in flames and the entire complex was engulfed in a blaze. Pyron began laughing at what he had done.
Pyron: Talk about your work going up in a blaze of glory. Now to set my sights on a bigger target.
He turned his sights towards the Pine Forest and formed a big smile.
Pyron: This is going to be so much fun.
He flew off into the night sky again heading for the Pine Forest. Down on the ground below we see a lone figure standing among the wreckage and flames. It turns out to be Zedi, he has a concerned look upon his face.
Zedi: I never thought that it would be needed, but with this next threat unleashed, the rangers are going to need as much help as they can get.
Zedi looked at the direction Pyron flew in and knew that he was heading in the direction of the Mystic Chamber, he knew he had to return and warn Kyle.
(Opening Credits)
(Act One)
(Scene) Oak Hill High School
None of the students were aware that another threat was about to head their way. To them it was school as usual. We see Dere pulling into the parking lot in front of the school. As he climbs oout, wearing a red buttoned shirt opened to reveal his white tank top, some dark blue jeans, and some light brown Timberland boots, he heads inside the building. He goes to his locker where the other two rangers were waiting. Lionel, who was wearing a red shirt, blue pants, and black shoes, and Bethany who was wearing a yellow and black dress with black shoes.
Derek: What's up guys?
Bethany: Nothing, except the city's largest townhouse country club went up in smoke last night.
Derek: You mean the one that was being built just outside the city?
Lionel: The very one.
Derek: My mom said that she was thinking of purchasing a home there. This sounds to weird for this to be a coincidence.
Bethany: You don't think that another warrior was released from that scroll, do you?
Derek: I don't know, but I think we better keep watch just in case. Hey Lionel, how are you feeling?
Lionel: I'm feeling a little bit better than yesterday. After I got me some rest my head started to clear up.
Bethany: You had us worried there for a minute.
Lionel: You were worried, just think how I felt when I felt out unexpectedly.
Derek: Well guys we better get to class before the late bell rings and we find ourselves in detention.
Derek quickly went into his locker and retrieved his class books and headed down the hall with Bethany and Lionel to their first class.
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Inside the Main Chamber, Kyle was pacing back and forth with a concerned look on his face. He was having an inner war being raged within him about whether or not he should inform Lionel about the dark powers he utilized. There was still the fear that if he did indeed tell, the others would think he meant to do it. He also knew that if he didn't tell him, he would be fighting against his own friend.
Kyle: Oh man what a difficult place to be in. Maybe I wasn't the right one to be made Earth Sage.
Just then Zedi reappeared in the room in a bright flashing light. Kyle was relieved to see him, which would allow him to divert his thinking to something else.
Kyle: Zedi, you're back, what have you discovered about the scroll?
Zedi: Indeed, the next warrior has been released. This one seems to have a major fiery disposition toward mortals. He was the reason for the houses being destroyed last night, to make matters worse he's in the Pine Forest right now.
Kyle: What, you mean he's somewhere in the woods right now?
Zedi: I'm afraid so and who knows how much damage he's willing to unleash. We must defend the forest along with the Mystic Chamber.
Just then the computer systems began blaring the distress signal throughout the Chambers. Kyle and Zedi rushed to the computer monitors and saw that Pyron was already at work igniting large blazes of fire through the forest.
Zedi: We have to stop him
Kyle: Are you sure we can handle this alone?
Zedi: I'm sure with our combined powers as Sages, we can at least hold him off. Syron believed in you to handle the power, now is the time to prove him right.
Kyle went into the Study Chamber and came out with his Sage Staff in hand. Zedi held his hand up into the air and caused his entire body to shimmer with a dazzling white light. Once the light dissipated he was also dressed in a long white robe and carried a long Sage's Staff as well.
Zedi: Now let's us go and protect the Chamber.
They both held their hands into the air and teleported from the Chamber in a bright flash of white light.
(Scene) Mountain Area/ Dark Lair
As we enter the throne room of the Dark Lair, we find that Demonus has transformed into his human form of Dr. Manslayer. He looks around to locate Byrox and Zyon, when he can't locate them he takes his eagle head cane and opens a portal in the middle of the room. Quickly stepping through the portal closes behind him. Unknown to Demonus the two minions were standing around the corner in the next chamber.
Byrox: Finally he's gone. Now Zyon, what is so important you wanted to tell that it took Demonus leaving?
Zyon reached into the pocket of his trenchcoat and pulled out the scroll. Byrox couldn't believe that his brother was standing before him holding it in his hands.
Byrox: What are you doing with that?
Zyon: I don't know, I too thought that Demonus destroyed it in the fire yesterday, yet here it is. That's not the worst part of it.
Byrox: What could worst than finding that the scroll isn't destroyed?
Zyon turned the scroll around to side where the seals were suppose to be. Byrox saw that there was now only one seal left to break before the Dark Prophecy would be revealed.
Byrox: You're right to keep this from Demonus. Yet though, it may prove to be to our advantage that we are the only ones that know this.
Zyon: What do you mean by that?
Byrox: Well, we've been wanting to be rid of Demonus, what better way than to release his own father?
Suddenly, Byrox caught a glimpse of the last seal and the symbol that it held.
Byrox: Why does this symbol on the last seal look so familiar?
Zyon turned the scroll to see what his brother was talking about, but when he saw it quickly recognized it.
Zyon: This is the symbol of our mistress. You don't think that our mistress is one of the warriors that is to be released?
Byrox: There's only one way to find out, we're going to have to find where our mistress is held captive.
Zyon: What about Demonus?
Byrox: Forget him, let him fight his own battles, we have something more important to do.
Byrox quickly went into the other Chamber and retrieved the large chunk of crystal that they had been using to sap Demonus of his strength and energy. The crystal was now glowing brightly the essence of Demonus' powers.
Byrox: Come let us be off.
They both grab their Sabers and teleport from the Dark Lair through their demenisional portal.
(Scene) Pine Forest
From the sky a dark smoke could be seen in the distance rising towards the sky. The dark billowing smoke was flowing from within the Pine Forest. A large amount of forest fire fighters tried to get into the forest and put out the blaze, but because of the flames intensity, they were not able.
Pyron: That's right you patheric mortals, you shall ruin my fun time.
Pyron stood in the midst of the forest and continued unleashing attacks after attacks of fire blasts upon the trees.
Pyron: Nothing shall stop me from destroying this entire planet!!
Out of nowhere a white beam of light blasted Pyron in the middle of his chest knocking through a wall of flames into the bark of a large tree to the ground. When he stood to his feet he was very angry and the flashing of his yellow eyes proved that fact.
Pyron: Who'd dare attack the powerful Pyron?
Kyle: That would be me and we'd like it that you not burn this forest.
Pyron looked through the flames and saw Kyle and Zedi standing in the midst of the flames glowing sparkling white.
Pyron: Who do you think you are?
Zedi: We are the Sage Protectors of Earth and we're here to put an end to you destructive ways.
Pyron: No one stops me from doing what I love to do!!
Bringing his hands together Pyron unleashes four large fireballs at the two Sages. The fireballs blast the ground around them throwing both of them to the ground. Kyle rolls to his feet and fires another white beam of light at Pyron, but he somehow brings up a shield of fire deflecting it away. With his other hand he fires a flame beam at Kyle blasting him in the chest to the ground.
Zedi: Hold on Kyle!!
Zedi raced to Kyle's aid, to shield him from any more attacks, he unleased multiple beams of white light upon Pyron blasting him to the ground. Zedi saw that Kyle had a serious burn wound on his chest that needed medical attention.
Zedi: Hold on, I'm going to get you back to the Chamber. I think the rangers are going to have to handle this guy.
Zedi picks Kyle up and teleports away from the scene. When Pyron looks around and sees them gone he begins to laugh aloud.
Pyron: I knew they weren't no match for my and my powers. Now to finish what I started by blazing a trail for my master!!
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Back at the Mystic Chamber, Zedi lays Kyle on one of the MedBeds. He opens a pouch on his side and takes out a small vile of green liquid. Taking a small cloth he pours the liquid on to it and applies it to the burn wound on Kyle's chest. Quickly, Kyle groans loudly from the pain of whatever the liquid was.
Kyle: Man, what is that stuff.
Zedi: It's a healing potion that can both clean and heal the wound in mere seconds. Though you will feel pain, it will clear up the wound.
Kyle: We have to hurry and stop that monster before not only the Pine Forest is destroyed, but the Mystic Chamber as well.
Zedi: Don't worry I'll contact the other rangers. I just hope they're ready to face this challenge.
(Commercial Breaks)
(Act Two)
(Scene) Oak Hill High School
Derek and Lionel were sitting in the same Math class, which was the last class for the day. The teacher was about to go over the exam they were to have later that week, but the dismissal bell got the better of him. The students all began filing out of the classroom as the teacher tried to inform them that they would go over the exam the next day. Lionel and Derek headed to their lockers to put their books up.
Derek: So, what are you two planning to do today?
Lionel: Bethany says she wants to go to the mall and do some shopping. I think she wants to buy me some clothes.
Derek: You better not let her hear you say that, she may change her mind.
Lionel: Oh no not her, wants she makes up her mind about something she usually sticks to it. Besides if she does change it, I'll know what to do to change it back. You know I have that amazing affect on the ladies.
Lionel didn't notice that Bethany was standing right behind him with her arms folded.
Bethany: What "amazing affect" is that?
Lionel: 'whispering to Derek' Why didn't you tell me she was standing right behind me?
Derek: What, and have my head chewed off, nope not me.
Lionel was about to turn around and try to come up with a slick way to back out of his perdicament. Just then the teens Beast Gems began flashing and beeping, this saved Lionel from a good bashing. The three went into the Media Center where fortunately noone was there.
Derek: <<This is Derek, go ahead.>>
Zedi: <<Derek, you and the other rangers are needed at the Mystic Chamber immediately. A grave emegency has befallen us.>>
Lionel: <<What is it Zedi?>>
Zedi: <<I'll explain all when you arrive.>>
Derek: <<All right we're on our way.>>
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
While Kyle continued to rest and heal from his injury, Zedi awaited the rangers arrival. Minutes later three colored beams of light appeared inside the Chamber and materialized into the three teens.
Derek: What's the emergency Zedi?
Lionel: Oh my goodness what happened to Kyle?
The teens saw Kyle lying on the MedBed and ran to his side.
Derek: Zedi, what happened?
Zedi: Come to the computer systems and I'll explain everything to you.
The teens followed Zedi to the computer systems and watched as he brought up a visual on the screen. The guys saw Pyron ravaging through more of the Pine Forest.
Derek: Who is that?
Bethany: The better question would be what is that?
Zedi: This is the next warrior to be released from the ancient scroll. It's name is Pyron and it's a fire warrior.
Derek: That sounds right up my alley.
Zedi: Though you have the power of fire, you may not have enough strength to defeat him with it alone.
Lionel: Don't worry, if we all use our powers in a combine effort, then we can take this guy down.
Zedi: The systems says he is nearing the Mystic Chamber now, if he is allowed to come near this place he could compromise the security of the Chambers, locate the hidden Chambers, break in and destroy everything.
Derek: That's something we just won't allow to happen. Come on guys let's get to work.
The three stood in the morphing positions with Derek in the middle, Lionel to his left, and Bethany to his right.
All Three: RELEASE THE POWER OF THE BEAST!!
Derek: RED DRAGON, RANGER POWER!!
Derek morphs into the Red Dragon Ranger.
Lionel: BLUE LION, RANGER POWER!!
Lionel morphs into the Blue Lion Ranger.
Bethany: YELLOW HAWK, RANGER POWER!!
Bethany morphs into the Yellow Hawk Ranger.
The three rangers race out of the Mystic Chamber's secret entrance tunnel towards the outside. We catch another glimpse of them racing through the woods in the direction of the large forest blaze.
Zedi: Be careful young ones.
(Scene) Pine Forest
Pyron, in his goal of preparing the Earth for the arrival of his master, Dargo, proceeded in ravaging the beauty of the Pine Forest.
Pyron: I won't stop until every tree and shrub is burned to the ground. My master shall usher back the glory days of a reborned Dark Region.
Suddenly Pyron is blasted from behind to the ground by three colored energy beams; blue, red, and yellow. He turns to see the rangers brandishing their Beast Blasters.
Blue Ranger: We got word that you were the one trashing a beautiful wildlife preserve.
Red Ranger: You've destroyed enough of this forest. I suggest you leave right now before things get real ugly.
Pyron slowly got up from the ground full of rage and anger.
Pyron: Surely, you don't think that you three costumed teenagers.
Yellow Ranger: We're wiling do whatever we have to in order to stop you.
Pyron: I would really like to see you try.
Red Ranger: Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
The rangers charged towards Pyron with their weapons drawn and ready to battle. As the rangers continued racing towards Pyron, he extended his hands and released a barage of fire rings. The rings began to explode as they struck the ground all around the rangers. The blast threw them off their feet, through the air, and to the ground.
Red Ranger: This guy thinks he's the only one that play with fire. I think it's time that I show him some things.
Red Ranger stood to his feet and extended both his hands. They both became engulfed in red flames.
Red Ranger: FIRE BLAST!!
Out from Red Ranger's hands two beams of red flames shot straight at Pyron, but he stood with a cocky smile on his face. As the blast reached him he held up his hands and began to absorb the fire attack, collecting it into one large fireball. This amazed and surprised the rangers. When he had collected every bit of the attack, he reversed the blast and sent it back at all three rangers. The blast struck all three rangers at one time throwing them to the ground severely weakened.
Red Ranger: How was that possible? It was like he took my own attack and used it against us.
Blue Ranger: I think I have an idea to distract him to allow you another chance to attack him.
Yellow Ranger: What are you thinking about doing?
Blue Ranger: I'll use my speed to run circles around causing him to be distracted. This will give you a chance to strike him again without him taking it and using it against us.
Red Ranger: Sounds like a plan to me.
Yellow Ranger: It's worth a shot, but just be careful.
Blue Ranger: Don't worry I will.
The rangers got back on their feet and steadied themselves to battle again against Pyron.
Pyron: One thing I can say about you mortals, you have the guts to fight. Too bad that you're going to die with those same guts.
Blue Ranger: I don't think so!!
In a flash of blue light Blue Ranger raced towards Pyron in break neck speed. He began racing around him so fast that it looked like a blue whirlwind had formed around Pyron. This of course was not amusing to Pyron as he stood with his arms folded. It almost looked as if he was yawning at the Blue Ranger's attempt to distract him. Red Ranger extended his hands towards Pyron again and prepared himself to fire another blast. When the attack was ready he fired it straight at him with a stronger force.
Red Ranger: Say goodbye fireboy!!
Pyron: I tire of these childish games.
As Blue Ranger was about to race away to make way for the fire blast attack, Pyron quickly grabbed him by the neck and as a human shield held Blue Ranger out in front of him. This allowed the entire attack to strike Blue Ranger at point blank range. When the attack was finished Pyron released Blue Ranger to fall to the ground motionless where he de-morphed into Lionel.
Red Ranger: Oh my goodness Lionel, I'm so sorry.
Pyron: Not as sorry as you're going to be. MAGNA MISSILES!!
Holding his hands above him he released two eruptions of flames into the air that created two balistic missiles that were flamming red and orange. He aimed them both at the Red and Yellow Ranger.
Pyron: Your mission has failed. FIRE!!
The two missiles shot through the air and blasted both rangers with a tremendous explosion that tossed both their bodys into the air and to the ground hard. When they landed they both simulataneously demorphed back into their regular clothes that wer charred and torn. They slowly stood to their feet weakend and bruised. Pyron grabbed Lionel by the collar of his shirt and tossed him through the air to the ground next to the others.
Pyron: Run little children, before you really get burned.
Derek: We got to get out of here.
Bethany: What are we going to do?
Derek: I don't know right now, maybe Zedi can come up with something. This isn't over, mark my words we shall meet again and we will defeat you.
Helping Lionel up, the teens teleported away from that section of Pine Forest back to the Mystic Chamber to regain their energy and strength. Pyron began laughing as he watched them teleport away. He began looking around and then looked up. Flying straight up into the air he began to survey the damage he had already done, but he wasn't impressed.
Pyron: I need to do some damage where there are mortal casualties involved.
He turned in another direction and focused his sights on the city. A smile formed across his face as he shot straight ahead towards the downtown area. In distance we could hear him singing a familiar tune.
Pyron: A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go, oh no the mortals will go, a hunting we will go. HAHAHAHA!!
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Lionel lay motionless on the MedBed with special respirators attached to his body. Bethany kept watch over him. The others were in the Study Chamber trying to figure out a way to defeat Pyron.
Derek: We were no match against that thing. Everything we threw at him either didn't phase him or he deflected back at us.
Zedi: As I told Kyle, as the warriors are released they will get stronger and even more intelligent in warfare.
Kyle: How are we to stop this thing from destroying humanity for the pleasure of Dargo?
Zedi: There is one way that I figured out to stop this thing. Derek you're going to have to journey to the Realm of Light to retrieve it.
Derek: What is it?
Zedi: Inside a cave, there is a star amulet called the Dragon Star. With it you can increase your powers enough to defeat and destroy this fire creature.
Derek: All right I'll go retrieve it.
Zedi: It's not that easy, for in order for you to obtain it you must solve a powerful riddle. If you can solve the riddle correctly then the amulet will be yours, but if you answer it wrong, you shall be consumed with by the fires of the dragon heads that will surround you.
Derek: No matter what I have to do, I accept the challenge.
Zedi: Good luck young and may your heart guide you and help you to succeed.
Zedi help his Staff over Derek's head and teleported him through a white portal.
Kyle: Do you think he'll be able to solve the riddle?
Zedi: If he was able to obtain the Beast Zords, then I'm sure he can solve the riddle.
(Scene) Realm of Light
We find ourselves in a lushy green meadow where everything is sparkling and glistening with a bright white light. Soon a flash of light materializes into Derek who begins looking around. He soon discovers the cave in the base of the mountain that Zedi had informed him of. He races inside and walks down a dark corridor. Along the side of the cave walls were torches that lit the way deeper into the mountain.
Derek: I sure hope I'm going in the right direction.
As he turned down a corner he saw a room filled with some strange light. As he entered he saw fairly large golden star with a ruby red encrusted center floating in the middle of the air. He looked around the walls and just as Zedi warned there were dragon heads mounted with their mouths opened wide.
Derek: I guess whoever doesn't get it right won't have a chance of making it out of here.
Walking a little further into the room the entrance was suddenl closed up by a large rock boulder. He tried moving it but it wasn't budging an inch. Turning around the dragon heads eyes were lit up with orange flames as well as their mouths. A voice began booming through the room.
Voice: Welcome warrior, I know you have come to claim the Dragon Star. In order for you to do so, you must answer one simple riddle correctly, if you do the Dragon Star shall be yours, but if you don't dire consequences shall befall you.
Derek: Okay, I think I've gotten that part down pat. What is the riddle that I must answer?
Voice: The riddle is......What is it that's everlasting, that never fails, and a person's greatest weapon.
Derek began thinking about what the answer could be. He knew if he didn't answer it he was going to be one roasted ranger and the others would be destroyed along with the Earth.

Lionel: I'm feeling a little bit better than yesterday. After I got me some rest my head started to clear up.
Bethany: You had us worried there for a minute.
Lionel: You were worried, just think how I felt when I felt out unexpectedly.
Derek: Well guys we better get to class before the late bell rings and we find ourselves in detention.
Derek quickly went into his locker and retrieved his class books and headed down the hall with Bethany and Lionel to their first class.
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Inside the Main Chamber, Kyle was pacing back and forth with a concerned look on his face. He was having an inner war being raged within him about whether or not he should inform Lionel about the dark powers he utilized. There was still the fear that if he did indeed tell, the others would think he meant to do it. He also knew that if he didn't tell him, he would be fighting against his own friend.
Kyle: Oh man what a difficult place to be in. Maybe I wasn't the right one to be made Earth Sage.
Just then Zedi reappeared in the room in a bright flashing light. Kyle was relieved to see him, which would allow him to divert his thinking to something else.
Kyle: Zedi, you're back, what have you discovered about the scroll?
Zedi: Indeed, the next warrior has been released. This one seems to have a major fiery disposition toward mortals. He was the reason for the houses being destroyed last night, to make matters worse he's in the Pine Forest right now.
Kyle: What, you mean he's somewhere in the woods right now?
Zedi: I'm afraid so and who knows how much damage he's willing to unleash. We must defend the forest along with the Mystic Chamber.
Just then the computer systems began blaring the distress signal throughout the Chambers. Kyle and Zedi rushed to the computer monitors and saw that Pyron was already at work igniting large blazes of fire through the forest.
Zedi: We have to stop him
Kyle: Are you sure we can handle this alone?
Zedi: I'm sure with our combined powers as Sages, we can at least hold him off. Syron believed in you to handle the power, now is the time to prove him right.
Kyle went into the Study Chamber and came out with his Sage Staff in hand. Zedi held his hand up into the air and caused his entire body to shimmer with a dazzling white light. Once the light dissipated he was also dressed in a long white robe and carried a long Sage's Staff as well.
Zedi: Now let's us go and protect the Chamber.
They both held their hands into the air and teleported from the Chamber in a bright flash of white light.
(Scene) Mountain Area/ Dark Lair
As we enter the throne room of the Dark Lair, we find that Demonus has transformed into his human form of Dr. Manslayer. He looks around to locate Byrox and Zyon, when he can't locate them he takes his eagle head cane and opens a portal in the middle of the room. Quickly stepping through the portal closes behind him. Unknown to Demonus the two minions were standing around the corner in the next chamber.
Byrox: Finally he's gone. Now Zyon, what is so important you wanted to tell that it took Demonus leaving?
Zyon reached into the pocket of his trenchcoat and pulled out the scroll. Byrox couldn't believe that his brother was standing before him holding it in his hands.
Byrox: What are you doing with that?
Zyon: I don't know, I too thought that Demonus destroyed it in the fire yesterday, yet here it is. That's not the worst part of it.
Byrox: What could worst than finding that the scroll isn't destroyed?
Zyon turned the scroll around to side where the seals were suppose to be. Byrox saw that there was now only one seal left to break before the Dark Prophecy would be revealed.
Byrox: You're right to keep this from Demonus. Yet though, it may prove to be to our advantage that we are the only ones that know this.
Zyon: What do you mean by that?
Byrox: Well, we've been wanting to be rid of Demonus, what better way than to release his own father?
Suddenly, Byrox caught a glimpse of the last seal and the symbol that it held.
Byrox: Why does this symbol on the last seal look so familiar?
Zyon turned the scroll to see what his brother was talking about, but when he saw it quickly recognized it.
Zyon: This is the symbol of our mistress. You don't think that our mistress is one of the warriors that is to be released?
Byrox: There's only one way to find out, we're going to have to find where our mistress is held captive.
Zyon: What about Demonus?
Byrox: Forget him, let him fight his own battles, we have something more important to do.
Byrox quickly went into the other Chamber and retrieved the large chunk of crystal that they had been using to sap Demonus of his strength and energy. The crystal was now glowing brightly the essence of Demonus' powers.
Byrox: Come let us be off.
They both grab their Sabers and teleport from the Dark Lair through their demenisional portal.
(Scene) Pine Forest
From the sky a dark smoke could be seen in the distance rising towards the sky. The dark billowing smoke was flowing from within the Pine Forest. A large amount of forest fire fighters tried to get into the forest and put out the blaze, but because of the flames intensity, they were not able.
Pyron: That's right you patheric mortals, you shall ruin my fun time.
Pyron stood in the midst of the forest and continued unleashing attacks after attacks of fire blasts upon the trees.
Pyron: Nothing shall stop me from destroying this entire planet!!
Out of nowhere a white beam of light blasted Pyron in the middle of his chest knocking through a wall of flames into the bark of a large tree to the ground. When he stood to his feet he was very angry and the flashing of his yellow eyes proved that fact.
Pyron: Who'd dare attack the powerful Pyron?
Kyle: That would be me and we'd like it that you not burn this forest.
Pyron looked through the flames and saw Kyle and Zedi standing in the midst of the flames glowing sparkling white.
Pyron: Who do you think you are?
Zedi: We are the Sage Protectors of Earth and we're here to put an end to you destructive ways.
Pyron: No one stops me from doing what I love to do!!
Bringing his hands together Pyron unleashes four large fireballs at the two Sages. The fireballs blast the ground around them throwing both of them to the ground. Kyle rolls to his feet and fires another white beam of light at Pyron, but he somehow brings up a shield of fire deflecting it away. With his other hand he fires a flame beam at Kyle blasting him in the chest to the ground.
Zedi: Hold on Kyle!!
Zedi raced to Kyle's aid, to shield him from any more attacks, he unleased multiple beams of white light upon Pyron blasting him to the ground. Zedi saw that Kyle had a serious burn wound on his chest that needed medical attention.
Zedi: Hold on, I'm going to get you back to the Chamber. I think the rangers are going to have to handle this guy.
Zedi picks Kyle up and teleports away from the scene. When Pyron looks around and sees them gone he begins to laugh aloud.
Pyron: I knew they weren't no match for my and my powers. Now to finish what I started by blazing a trail for my master!!
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Back at the Mystic Chamber, Zedi lays Kyle on one of the MedBeds. He opens a pouch on his side and takes out a small vile of green liquid. Taking a small cloth he pours the liquid on to it and applies it to the burn wound on Kyle's chest. Quickly, Kyle groans loudly from the pain of whatever the liquid was.
Kyle: Man, what is that stuff.
Zedi: It's a healing potion that can both clean and heal the wound in mere seconds. Though you will feel pain, it will clear up the wound.
Kyle: We have to hurry and stop that monster before not only the Pine Forest is destroyed, but the Mystic Chamber as well.
Zedi: Don't worry I'll contact the other rangers. I just hope they're ready to face this challenge.
(Commercial Breaks)
(Act Two)
(Scene) Oak Hill High School
Derek and Lionel were sitting in the same Math class, which was the last class for the day. The teacher was about to go over the exam they were to have later that week, but the dismissal bell got the better of him. The students all began filing out of the classroom as the teacher tried to inform them that they would go over the exam the next day. Lionel and Derek headed to their lockers to put their books up.
Derek: So, what are you two planning to do today?
Lionel: Bethany says she wants to go to the mall and do some shopping. I think she wants to buy me some clothes.
Derek: You better not let her hear you say that, she may change her mind.
Lionel: Oh no not her, wants she makes up her mind about something she usually sticks to it. Besides if she does change it, I'll know what to do to change it back. You know I have that amazing affect on the ladies.
Lionel didn't notice that Bethany was standing right behind him with her arms folded.
Bethany: What "amazing affect" is that?
Lionel: 'whispering to Derek' Why didn't you tell me she was standing right behind me?
Derek: What, and have my head chewed off, nope not me.
Lionel was about to turn around and try to come up with a slick way to back out of his perdicament. Just then the teens Beast Gems began flashing and beeping, this saved Lionel from a good bashing. The three went into the Media Center where fortunately noone was there.
Derek: <<This is Derek, go ahead.>>
Zedi: <<Derek, you and the other rangers are needed at the Mystic Chamber immediately. A grave emegency has befallen us.>>
Lionel: <<What is it Zedi?>>
Zedi: <<I'll explain all when you arrive.>>
Derek: <<All right we're on our way.>>
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
While Kyle continued to rest and heal from his injury, Zedi awaited the rangers arrival. Minutes later three colored beams of light appeared inside the Chamber and materialized into the three teens.
Derek: What's the emergency Zedi?
Lionel: Oh my goodness what happened to Kyle?
The teens saw Kyle lying on the MedBed and ran to his side.
Derek: Zedi, what happened?
Zedi: Come to the computer systems and I'll explain everything to you.
The teens followed Zedi to the computer systems and watched as he brought up a visual on the screen. The guys saw Pyron ravaging through more of the Pine Forest.
Derek: Who is that?
Bethany: The better question would be what is that?
Zedi: This is the next warrior to be released from the ancient scroll. It's name is Pyron and it's a fire warrior.
Derek: That sounds right up my alley.
Zedi: Though you have the power of fire, you may not have enough strength to defeat him with it alone.
Lionel: Don't worry, if we all use our powers in a combine effort, then we can take this guy down.
Zedi: The systems says he is nearing the Mystic Chamber now, if he is allowed to come near this place he could compromise the security of the Chambers, locate the hidden Chambers, break in and destroy everything.
Derek: That's something we just won't allow to happen. Come on guys let's get to work.
The three stood in the morphing positions with Derek in the middle, Lionel to his left, and Bethany to his right.
All Three: RELEASE THE POWER OF THE BEAST!!
Derek: RED DRAGON, RANGER POWER!!
Derek morphs into the Red Dragon Ranger.
Lionel: BLUE LION, RANGER POWER!!
Lionel morphs into the Blue Lion Ranger.
Bethany: YELLOW HAWK, RANGER POWER!!
Bethany morphs into the Yellow Hawk Ranger.
The three rangers race out of the Mystic Chamber's secret entrance tunnel towards the outside. We catch another glimpse of them racing through the woods in the direction of the large forest blaze.
Zedi: Be careful young ones.
(Scene) Pine Forest
Pyron, in his goal of preparing the Earth for the arrival of his master, Dargo, proceeded in ravaging the beauty of the Pine Forest.
Pyron: I won't stop until every tree and shrub is burned to the ground. My master shall usher back the glory days of a reborned Dark Region.
Suddenly Pyron is blasted from behind to the ground by three colored energy beams; blue, red, and yellow. He turns to see the rangers brandishing their Beast Blasters.
Blue Ranger: We got word that you were the one trashing a beautiful wildlife preserve.
Red Ranger: You've destroyed enough of this forest. I suggest you leave right now before things get real ugly.
Pyron slowly got up from the ground full of rage and anger.
Pyron: Surely, you don't think that you three costumed teenagers.
Yellow Ranger: We're wiling do whatever we have to in order to stop you.
Pyron: I would really like to see you try.
Red Ranger: Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
The rangers charged towards Pyron with their weapons drawn and ready to battle. As the rangers continued racing towards Pyron, he extended his hands and released a barage of fire rings. The rings began to explode as they struck the ground all around the rangers. The blast threw them off their feet, through the air, and to the ground.
Red Ranger: This guy thinks he's the only one that play with fire. I think it's time that I show him some things.
Red Ranger stood to his feet and extended both his hands. They both became engulfed in red flames.
Red Ranger: FIRE BLAST!!
Out from Red Ranger's hands two beams of red flames shot straight at Pyron, but he stood with a cocky smile on his face. As the blast reached him he held up his hands and began to absorb the fire attack, collecting it into one large fireball. This amazed and surprised the rangers. When he had collected every bit of the attack, he reversed the blast and sent it back at all three rangers. The blast struck all three rangers at one time throwing them to the ground severely weakened.
Red Ranger: How was that possible? It was like he took my own attack and used it against us.
Blue Ranger: I think I have an idea to distract him to allow you another chance to attack him.
Yellow Ranger: What are you thinking about doing?
Blue Ranger: I'll use my speed to run circles around causing him to be distracted. This will give you a chance to strike him again without him taking it and using it against us.
Red Ranger: Sounds like a plan to me.
Yellow Ranger: It's worth a shot, but just be careful.
Blue Ranger: Don't worry I will.
The rangers got back on their feet and steadied themselves to battle again against Pyron.
Pyron: One thing I can say about you mortals, you have the guts to fight. Too bad that you're going to die with those same guts.
Blue Ranger: I don't think so!!
In a flash of blue light Blue Ranger raced towards Pyron in break neck speed. He began racing around him so fast that it looked like a blue whirlwind had formed around Pyron. This of course was not amusing to Pyron as he stood with his arms folded. It almost looked as if he was yawning at the Blue Ranger's attempt to distract him. Red Ranger extended his hands towards Pyron again and prepared himself to fire another blast. When the attack was ready he fired it straight at him with a stronger force.
Red Ranger: Say goodbye fireboy!!
Pyron: I tire of these childish games.
As Blue Ranger was about to race away to make way for the fire blast attack, Pyron quickly grabbed him by the neck and as a human shield held Blue Ranger out in front of him. This allowed the entire attack to strike Blue Ranger at point blank range. When the attack was finished Pyron released Blue Ranger to fall to the ground motionless where he de-morphed into Lionel.
Red Ranger: Oh my goodness Lionel, I'm so sorry.
Pyron: Not as sorry as you're going to be. MAGNA MISSILES!!
Holding his hands above him he released two eruptions of flames into the air that created two balistic missiles that were flamming red and orange. He aimed them both at the Red and Yellow Ranger.
Pyron: Your mission has failed. FIRE!!
The two missiles shot through the air and blasted both rangers with a tremendous explosion that tossed both their bodys into the air and to the ground hard. When they landed they both simulataneously demorphed back into their regular clothes that wer charred and torn. They slowly stood to their feet weakend and bruised. Pyron grabbed Lionel by the collar of his shirt and tossed him through the air to the ground next to the others.
Pyron: Run little children, before you really get burned.
Derek: We got to get out of here.
Bethany: What are we going to do?
Derek: I don't know right now, maybe Zedi can come up with something. This isn't over, mark my words we shall meet again and we will defeat you.
Helping Lionel up, the teens teleported away from that section of Pine Forest back to the Mystic Chamber to regain their energy and strength. Pyron began laughing as he watched them teleport away. He began looking around and then looked up. Flying straight up into the air he began to survey the damage he had already done, but he wasn't impressed.
Pyron: I need to do some damage where there are mortal casualties involved.
He turned in another direction and focused his sights on the city. A smile formed across his face as he shot straight ahead towards the downtown area. In distance we could hear him singing a familiar tune.
Pyron: A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go, oh no the mortals will go, a hunting we will go. HAHAHAHA!!
(Scene) Mystic Chamber
Lionel lay motionless on the MedBed with special respirators attached to his body. Bethany kept watch over him. The others were in the Study Chamber trying to figure out a way to defeat Pyron.
Derek: We were no match against that thing. Everything we threw at him either didn't phase him or he deflected back at us.
Zedi: As I told Kyle, as the warriors are released they will get stronger and even more intelligent in warfare.
Kyle: How are we to stop this thing from destroying humanity for the pleasure of Dargo?
Zedi: There is one way that I figured out to stop this thing. Derek you're going to have to journey to the Realm of Light to retrieve it.
Derek: What is it?
Zedi: Inside a cave, there is a star amulet called the Dragon Star. With it you can increase your powers enough to defeat and destroy this fire creature.
Derek: All right I'll go retrieve it.
Zedi: It's not that easy, for in order for you to obtain it you must solve a powerful riddle. If you can solve the riddle correctly then the amulet will be yours, but if you answer it wrong, you shall be consumed with by the fires of the dragon heads that will surround you.
Derek: No matter what I have to do, I accept the challenge.
Zedi: Good luck young and may your heart guide you and help you to succeed.
Zedi help his Staff over Derek's head and teleported him through a white portal.
Kyle: Do you think he'll be able to solve the riddle?
Zedi: If he was able to obtain the Beast Zords, then I'm sure he can solve the riddle.
(Scene) Realm of Light
We find ourselves in a lushy green meadow where everything is sparkling and glistening with a bright white light. Soon a flash of light materializes into Derek who begins looking around. He soon discovers the cave in the base of the mountain that Zedi had informed him of. He races inside and walks down a dark corridor. Along the side of the cave walls were torches that lit the way deeper into the mountain.
Derek: I sure hope I'm going in the right direction.
As he turned down a corner he saw a room filled with some strange light. As he entered he saw fairly large golden star with a ruby red encrusted center floating in the middle of the air. He looked around the walls and just as Zedi warned there were dragon heads mounted with their mouths opened wide.
Derek: I guess whoever doesn't get it right won't have a chance of making it out of here.
Walking a little further into the room the entrance was suddenl closed up by a large rock boulder. He tried moving it but it wasn't budging an inch. Turning around the dragon heads eyes were lit up with orange flames as well as their mouths. A voice began booming through the room.
Voice: Welcome warrior, I know you have come to claim the Dragon Star. In order for you to do so, you must answer one simple riddle correctly, if you do the Dragon Star shall be yours, but if you don't dire consequences shall befall you.
Derek: Okay, I think I've gotten that part down pat. What is the riddle that I must answer?
Voice: The riddle is......What is it that's everlasting, that never fails, and a person's greatest weapon.
Derek began thinking about what the answer could be. He knew if he didn't answer it he was going to be one roasted ranger and the others would be destroyed along with the Earth.
