Power Rangers Spirits of the Jungle-Episode Three-Wave of Evil

[GeoRanger]

Scene: Coral Bay High/Student Parking Lot. We see Josh, wearing a black tank top, dark blue jeans, a pair of black shoes, and a black and white bandana. He is standing, polishing the side of his new, black Ducati Supersport 1000. He sighs, as he looks at the black rhino bracelet on his left wrist.

Josh: Hope those losers don’t need me.

???: Hey!

He looks, and rolls his eyes.

Josh: ‘under breath’ Great. Here they come.

The camera shifts, and we see Leah running forward. She is wearing a white t-shirt, with pink words that read “Big Flirt”, a faded denim jacket, faded jeans, and some blue and white shoes.

Leah: Hey. What’s up?

Josh: Nothing. Is their something you want?

Leah: Yeah. Andy invited us to come out on his boat this weekend. I was wondering if you wanted to come.

Josh: I don’t think so.

He reaches over and grabs his riding helmet, and puts it on.

Leah: Well, why not? It’ll be fun. We can all get to know you.

Josh: Listen, I’m only a part of this team because I stupidly decided to go help you out. All I wanted was to come here, and be left alone. And, FYI, I know you feel sorry for me. Well, don’t.

He slides down the visor, and gets on his bike. He starts it, and pulls away.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina is watching the parking lot, as Leah gets into her Silver Nissan Altima.
Queen Hedrina: A boat trip, huh? Perfect.

(Opening Credits)

Act 1

Scene: Coral Bay Marina. Landon, Anna and Leah walk down the docks, carrying small duffle bags, towards Andy’s boat, . Landon is wearing a white tank top, red swim shorts, and a pair of black and white flip-flops. Anna and Leah both wear long, white skirts, covering their two piece bathing suits.

Landon: So, where is his boat?

Leah: He said at the end of the docks.

Anna: Oh my god.

They look, as she points up. They look, and see a large, white yacht, spanning over 100 feet.

Scene: Josh’s House/Bedroom. We see Josh, wearing a white tank top, and black sweat pants, lifting weights, benching over 200 pounds. He stops, and picks up a towel, and wipes the sweat from his forehead.

Josh: Well, that was fun. Man, I stink. Better go shower.

He gets up, and walks up the stairs, towards the bathroom.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. General Amadeon is kneeling before Queen Hedrina’s throne.

Amadeon: My queen, you called for me?

Queen Hedrina: Yes. It’s time to put my plan into action. Those rangers won’t know what hit them.

(Commercials)

Act 2

Scene: The Forest Temple. Mystra is sitting at her computer, typing away. The screen shows different weapon schematics. She presses another button, and gets up. She raises her hands, and begins to recite an incantation. Colored energy swirls around her hands, and beams shoot forward. Five metallic weapons appear, resting upon the table; a saber, with a silver blade and a red handle, shaped like a condor, a long, blue staff, with twin silver blades at the tip, a long, yellow whip, with black spots on the handle, a large, black cannon, with a rhino head at the barrel, and a pair of white daggers, with pink blades.

Mystra: Done. Now, onto my next project.

Scene: The Bay. Andy’s yacht cuts through the clear blue water. We zoom forward, and see the girls lying on their towels, sunbathing.

Anna: This is so great!

Leah: Yeah, it is. Too bad we all couldn’t be here.

Anna: What are you talking about?

Leah: Well, Josh.

Anna sits up, and put her sunglasses on top of her head.

Anna: Leah, please. That jerk. I’m glad he’s not here.

Leah sits up, and looks at her friend.

Leah: Yeah, but Anna, he’s still a member of our team. We should be his friends.

Anna: Didn’t he tell you he didn’t need them? Besides, I’m not going to be. I’ve got a reputation to maintain here.

She lays back down. Leah shakes her head, and down as well.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina watches, as Andy’s yacht drops anchor.

Queen Hedrina: Excellent. It’s time.

She snaps her fingers.

Scene: The Bay. Landon does a cannonball off the side, into the water. The others stand, waiting to jump in themselves. Anna gasps, as she looks out to the horizon.

Anna: Landon, get back up here now!

Landon: Why?

Suddenly he turns around, and he sees a huge tidal wave. His mouth drops, as he turns to swim towards the boat. He grabs onto the side ladder, and races up it.

Andy: I’d better tell the captain to get going.

The shadow of the wave comes over the yacht.

Leah: I think it’s a little too late!

(Commercials)

Act 3

Scene: The Forest Temple. Mystra is in a back room, working on some new machine. Parts lay scattered across the ground. She stands up, and wipes the sweat from her brow. She smiles.

Mystra: Hmm, this is easier then I thought. I hope the ranger’s are having fun on their-

She stops, as she falls to her knees, grasping her forehead.

Mystra: Oh no. They’re in trouble.

Scene: Josh’s House/Basement. Josh is laying on his bed, listening to the radio. He is dressed in a black and white shirt, black jeans, and a pair of white socks. He hears a beep, and lowers the radio. He looks at his wrist, and the Black Rhino on his bracelet is pulsing with colored light. He rolls his eyes, as he presses it.

Josh: Yes, can I help you?

Mystra: ‘Josh. Are you with the others?’

Josh: No. Why would I be?

Mystra: ‘Well, I thought you all were going out on a boat this weekend.’

Josh: Yeah, ok. Like I’d spend my weekend with them. You know Mystra, you crack me up.

Mystra: ‘Josh, this is serious. I need you to come here right away.’

Josh: If I must.

He gets up, and presses the Rhino again, and disappears in a sphere of black light.

Scene: An Underwater Cave. It’s dark, the walls and ceiling dripping. We see the four teens, tied together, sitting on the ground. Two Goyle Knights are standing, guarding them. We hear the sound of a dark, booming laugh. We turn, and see a tall, muscular creature, with aqua colored skin, long, silver hair, and a pair of brown pants. In his hand, he has a long, silver triton. One his wrists, he has two light gold colored gauntlets. His name is Tritor.

Tritor: Well, well, well. If it isn’t the so-called Power Rangers. Well, if you give me what I want, I’ll let you live.

Landon: Kiss off jerk-face.

Tritor smiles, and laughs.

Scene: The Forest Temple. Mystra and Josh are standing, arguing.

Mystra: Why won’t you go help them?

Josh: Because, I don’t want to!

Mystra: Why? What did they ever do to you? All they did was try to be your friend, but, you’re to busy being a stuck-up, self-absorbed jerk to notice!

Josh: Listen, you witch. I have my reasons to not be their friend. I don’t need them!

Mystra: I don’t care if you need them or not! They need you! So, whether you want to or not, you’re going!

Scene: The Underwater Cave. Tritor has untied Anna and is holding her up by her arm. She is squirming to break free.

Anna: Let me go!

Landon: Yo ugly! Put her down!

Tritor: Oh please. You can’t do anything to stop me.

???: He can’t, but I can.

Tritor turns, and sees the Black Rhino Ranger, standing, prepared for battle.

(Commercials)

Act 4

Scene: Tritor releases Anna, and she falls hard on the ground. She stands up, and spin kicks the demon in the stomach.

Anna: Take that. Now then.

She goes to run towards her tied up teammates, but is stopped by Tritor and the Goyle Knights.
Anna: Great.

Black Ranger: Need some help?

Anna: That would be nice. You take the blue guy. I’ll take these things, and free the others.

Black Ranger: Ok. Oh, and before I forget. Mystra has a surprise for us.

Anna: And that would be...?

Black Rhino Ranger’s belt buckle flashes black, and a beam shoots up into his opened arms. The light swirls around them, and the large, black cannon that Mystra was working on.

Anna: Now, that’s hot.

She flicks her wrist, and her bracelet flashes white, and changes to her morpher.

Anna: Spirits of the Jungle, Awaken and Transform!
‘She morphs into White Lion Ranger’

White Ranger: Now then. I need my special weapon.

Her belt buckle flashes white, and two beams shot up. The beams circle around her hands, forming the daggers. She twirls them around.

White Ranger: Lion Daggers!

She charges forward, and slashes the Goyle Knights. Meanwhile, Black Ranger stands before Tritor.

Black Ranger: Hey, meet my Rhino Blaster.

He pulls the trigger, shooting blasts of colored energy at the monster. Tritor falls to his knees in pain. He stands, and fires a blast from his triton. The blast strikes the Black Ranger, knocking him to the ground, and hurling his blaster across the room. Tritor walks forward, and steps on the rangers’ neck. He goes to strike with his weapon, but is stopped by a silver blade. He turns, to see the morphed Red Condor Ranger, holding his new saber.

Red Ranger: Tsk tsk. Who says you can get a ranger when he’s down.

He slashes the demon across the face, cutting the creature.

Tritor: Ahh! My face! You’ll pay ranger!

The Blue Ranger leaps forward, twirling his staff, and strikes the monster. Tritor falls and is struck with the whip of the Yellow Ranger. The White Ranger’s daggers come flying forward, and strike the demon. They then fly back into her hands. The Black Ranger picks up his blaster, and joins the others.

Black Ranger: Guys, Mystra says we can combine our weapons to form the Jungle Cannon.

Red Ranger: Well then, let’s do it.

Black Ranger throws his Rhino Blaster into the air, and it hovers there. Blue Ranger throws his Shark Staff, and it lays horizontally across the weapon. White Ranger hurls her Lion Daggers into the air, and they connect underneath the staff. Yellow Ranger throws her Cheetah Whip into the air, and its lays flat on top of the Rhino Blaster. Finally, Red Ranger leaps into the air, and places his Condor Saber on top of the entire weapon. He pulls it down, and points it towards the monster. Blue and Yellow stand beside him, and place their hands on his shoulders. Black and White stand beside them, and place their hands on their shoulders.

All: Jungle Cannon, Fire!

Red Ranger pulls the trigger of the cannon, firing five blasts of colored energy, that swirl together, and strike the monster, causing him to fall back, and explode.

Scene: The Underground Chamber. Queen Hedrina’s eyes are glowing deep red.

Queen Hedrina: No! My monster! How could this happen? Those rangers barley touched him! And yet, their little toy destroyed him!

She picks up the Book of Elcron, and hurls it across the room. It hits the wall, and opens up to a page. She looks down at it, and smiles wickedly.
Queen Hedrina: Of course!

Scene: Leah’s House/Leah’s Bedroom. It’s Sunday night. Leah and her friends are now home, after an interesting boat trip. Leah is in her bed, asleep, wearing a pair of gray sweat pants, and a white t-shirt. She is tossing and turning, like she is having a bad dream. The camera closes in on her head, and we enter her mind.

Scene: Leah’s Dream/A jungle. Leah stands in the center of a huge battle. Swarms of Goyle Knights are flying, destroying everything in site.

Leah: Hey, knock it off!

She goes to fight one, but realizes that she passes right through them.

Leah: What is going on?

???: Hey! You better stop destroying our home!

Leah turns, and sees five warriors, clad in hooded cloaks. In their hands, they have large swords with colored handles, each with the design of their respective animals. The five warriors leap into battle. The Yellow hooded warrior slashes dozens of the creatures, using her super speed. Leah smiles, as she watches this. A single Goyle Knight flies behind her, and knocks her to the ground.

Red Warrior: Princess!

The Yellow Warrior’s hood comes down and Leah gasps. The warrior looks exactly like her, but with glowing, yellow, cat-like eyes.

Scene: Leah’s House/Leah’s Bedroom. Leah bolts up from her sleep, panting. She rubs her forehead.

Leah: No way.

Hmm. Usually I have a lot more trouble reading script-format, but your usage of a few things -- like correct capitalization and punctuation =D and a fairly clear style of writing -- make this one a lot easier. I'm enjoying it, although Josh's character is a little murky, but I'm sure you'll work that out soon enough. =) Keep at it!

Indeed, I too am enjoying the series, and I enjoyed this installment. I especially was intrigued with the dream that Leah has at the end, I wonder where you're going with that? KIU :=)
