RetroCenter is now a year old, and has been given a bit of an overhaul. It's still under construction, and is only at about 60%. Hopefully, the PLEX Designs will be back up and updated soon, and the ToyGuide will be updated a bunch.

Remember, if you have a PR WEBSITE (not a forum) that you want advertised in the Links section, then just email retrocenter@hotmail.com or rather, leave a note in this thread, and it'll be added as soon as possible.

If you want your site advertised, then respond in the following format:

Oh, and a quick request: If you visit the site, why not click on the the sponsors a few times? A few clicks is all it takes. It generates revenue which helps to pay for the site. Thanks ;)

It's a problem with the server. Shouldent be too long hopefully.

It's a total bugger. I just moved from my original host two weeks ago as the FBI confiscated all their equipment, and now THIS one is having problems.

These have not been good times for the web hosting community.

Who are you using now? And who did you use before (so I can avoid them like the plague)? Other than that, site looks great!

My old server was HostedToday. They were decent enough for the past year, but it seems one of their users was being a little bit illegal.

The site is back online (again). I had to re-upload EVERYTHING and reconfigure EVERYTHING again. It's been a tough few weeks.

I suspect Edmund's hand in that I mean think about it; First he sends us all a post saying he's going to send an e-mail to the F.B.I. to "suit down rangerboard" and around that same time SnoopsWarners webpage gets shut down and he has to move it because the F.B.I. suspected the server or one it's users of doing serious internet crimes, coincidence, I think not

I have now added lots and lots of pictures of the cast naked to the site.

It was tough to get shirtless pics of some of the early Rangers, but I eventually got one of Karan Ashley from Sex and the City.

I've also been having problems recently - with both the site and the Viewing Globe. None work. I don't know what's causing it.

The problems are with the server, and the staff who deal with it, I am told, are off abroad on holiday. I can even upload updates. But the site iteself is still working, to the best of my knowledge.

And now, since The Viewing Globe has become so popular, it's now aquired its own domain. It's still part of the RetroCenter, but its own URL can be a bit more useful than having to go through RetroCenter to reach it.

I just don't get it...you say everything is back to normal, yet I always get "cannot find server." I don't get the pictures in the Caption Thread for some reason...nor am I able to access the Retrocenter. This makes no sense, because everyone else seems to have no problem. This is frustrating (sorry if you've heard this several times).

God, not at all... it's thanks to people like you that HELP me find out what's going on.

I'm a bit stumped as to WHY you're not getting to see the site.. while I certainly have had trouble uploading to it, I havent had any real downtime in days.. I dont think you're alone, however. as on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday, the total bandwidth shifted was well under a Gig for each day... which right off, TELLS me that a certain number of people arnt getting in, since I reach 2 Gig daily.

I've noticed that people are starting to use Globe pics in the Caption Thread again, which suggests to me that at the very least, SOME people are getting in. I cant possibly think of the reason for this, and have nobody to check it with, since the amateurs I'm with are off abroad.

I hope you get some sorta result soon, tho.

Okay, The Viewing Globe works for me again. And all is right with the world.
