Does anyone miss the old 8inch scale figures??? i was thinkin this the other day. I mean we have these god awful 12 inchers that talk, make noise, and wear doll clothes...... WTF is that? I miss the 8 inchers! Thye should bring them back for SPD (yes i know that wont ever happen). But get rid of the action features!!! Articulation is where the money is... well for me anyway ^_--

The 8 inch figures were my favorite. The original 8 inchers and the Movie edition were the only desent ones they ever made though. I hate the action ones from Zeo and Turbo. ... Igues the the space 8inch figures were pretty good. I can't remember if my space ones have those dame action buttons or not. I don't think they do. But I missed the yellow 8" of that series. (Still hate that!!) I guess space was the last good 8 inchs series. Did they ever make any desent (Non-action oriented) 8" figures after that?
But to get back to the topic, only reason I could see it going that high is just people bid warring or something. It's not worth that in my eyes.

The original 8-inch figures are, IMO, some of the best PR toys ever made. They really should bring that scale back.

Is it worth that much? Probably not.
Is it rare as hell? Hell yes.

That figure is up so high in price because idiot eBayers don't know how to bid!!! They just place bids until they're the highest bidder and then a bidding war ensues. The moral of the story is that eBay bidders are morons who end up spending WAAYYY more than they should on something because they place too many bids to try and get said item cheaply.
Just like this:

The Buy It Now! price on the auction ^ was $90; for a 5 dvd set and a complete season with FM Menu, and Chapter Selection is not that expensive. If I end up with the spare cash by January I will definately get all 3 seasons on DVD from that guy. However, the seller says that the video quality is about an 8 (out of 10)... for season 1 it looks to be about a 6/7.
And here is the eBay auction for MMPR Season 1 on DVD that just ended.

The Buy It Now! for season 1 was $105. I'll post season 3 after it ends. Stupid stupid eBay bidders... :shame:
