Hey Kylash, are you the one on eday selling those white ranger/green ranger coins/morphers or is that someone else? I noticed those there today as I was browsing. lol. Oh, and, thought I would ask, any word about the communicator? I think it was you that was attempting on constructing one...

I always think about buying a mold to make a helmet (example: Kylash's white ranger one, lol, because that would probably be one of the only PR helmets I would have the patiance to work with....yea and as you can see, I am hooked on phonix with my typing and spelling, sorry!)
But I'm a 20 year old girl and it just doesn't fly, lol. And it isn't like i would knwo what the heck I am doing anyway.

Anyway, wanted to give the complaments to you guys for making that kind of stuff. that's awsome.

Yeah, weapons that would be awsome in my opinion, and that I would even consider buying would be the dragon dagger and saba, lol, I got the toy sword stored away back at home, lol!

no im not the one selling the morphers, just the stuff listed up there. I have a finished metal communicator, i want to cast the body section to go with metal bands that are easy to get, but im waiting until i can find the most accurate material for the screen section, then i will make castings.

its a real basic look...white crystals with the star, or square(like the zeo helments) with that color kind of glow i think...not to hard i bet u could easily do them if u had pictures of them

and if u remember the rangers had to go to different places (as small kids) to find the crystals and it was like a different journey for all of them...if that helps at all

i believe kylash has the coins that are the correct size, but they are solid so they don't fit inside of a morpher.

Actually, me and matt are in the middle of making the Zeo crystal, and we'll be doing Saba (and brachio staff) very soon. We have the Red MMPR helmet...but cannot replicate it, it's not our own so no one ask us to make you one lol.

At the minute we're finishing up Dekared and soon to be doing Black brachio and abarekiller helmets.

i made a cone shape out of some thin plastic, made a rough casting, did a shitloads of sanding, made a silicone mold, cast in clear resin dyed different colors, dry overnight, wetsand smooth, clearcoat, top off with a powercoin :D

sorry been working on stuff here . there is a few issues with that Red MMPR Helmet, as currently all i know one person sells it for a ridculous price who is the original creator, but at current i dont know if that is true, all i can say is that if JawaFive sells the Red MMPR ranger he is being a credit to rangerboard lol as he will more likelly sell it for a reasonable price, this has nothing to do with MMPR/WR5 sell theres at a reasonable price, same with kylash and others, but there is a seller who sells them for in the thousands range for a complete one, if that dont make sense here it is again

A seller is selling one for loads of money, all im trying to say is if its his helmet that is a recast he may not like it going for below 500 dollars, but either way if jawafives is an original or copy it will be more or less a reasonable price i bet, and if youve read all of this then ive probably lost you at "A" rofl

if you don't like the price a seller is asking for a helmet, then just don't buy it. go find another person who sells it cheaper. if that's a no go, then save up lol

that's all i can say. my helmet cost me like $360 for the casting, then i had it finished for $300. so its a total of $660 about. i didn't really care how high it would cost me, just wanted it done hehe

I'll be offering mine for less than 360 and it's not a recast of Guntahs. I won't charge $300 to finish it either. It's not a waste of time if I sell them;) And a big thank you to SPDSlipStreamRanger who knows what he is talking about.

Question for helmet makers what is a good clear coat to use on krylon paints? to give it that glossy look and protect the paint. Also what is a good thing used to hinge the two halves of a helmet together? :confused: I am trying to finish up my Green Ranger Helmet!

Yah i noticed that, the guy is real friendly. it will be easy to see out of im sure. I've never had a helmet with no snaps on the outside so im intrestead in how well its going to hold together.

You can use pins on the inside. You can pick that up at most any hardwarestore

The Saba Sword is going to be a pain in the a** good luck to anyone working on it. The tiger on the handle is going to be a big pain. Everything else will be pretty easy to do.

Just believe me, WR5 does do fansculpts, he sculpted his psycho ranger helmets, some of his zeo helmets and before he got screencasts, his dekahelmets
