SPECIAL POLICE DEKARANGER: OVA
CHAPTER 4: DEJA VU
EPISODE 2: FOREVER
Narrator: In the year 2005, the SPD is formed by the Singapore Police Force to combat international unnatural mutation criminals. That same year, an alien gang descended upon the Earth. Agent Aburera, Blitz and Bongoburin meet at a secluded rooftop.
"Good work Blitz.... Now we'll just put the blame on this alien...", Aburera said with a smile.
A hologram appears on the surface of his helmet. It shows a blue bodied alien with blades on his hands.
"Juza-seijin... That traitor! Where is his location now?" Blitz asked.
"No, we will not go to him yet... Deka will suspect him eventually..."

Police sirens blast through the night at the crime scene. The Dekarangers are questioning eyewitnesses. Nicholas using his SP License to tape down a statement by a suspect.
"So you said, you saw an alien with a blades for hands slicing through the officers?"
"Yes! Yes! It was so horrible!"
"Anything else?"
"You must nab the suspect as soon as possible! It's so dangerous to go out these days.. Police officers cannot stop them, then what can we do?"
"Sorry, we will do our best. You may go now," Nicholas said as the woman took her shopping bags and went off. Rebecca approaches Nicholas and observes the data from the recording, summarised by the SP License.
"Exaggerating details already?" She joked.
"No choice. Human nature," he replied, laughing.

Ashley, Basil and Meng Yeow are observing the main crime scene. It is unusually wet.
"What's with the water?" Ashley inquired.
"It could be a burst pipe or something..."
"Burst pipe?"
"Well if they said some goon with blades in his hands did it, I don't see why he could not have cut the water pipe," Basil explained.
"Feasible, but first we have to piece the story together," Meng Yeow said.

The next morning at the DekaBase, with Ashley's help, Justin manages to access the Space Police Department's alien database to match the description of the suspect from the eye-witnessess' accounts. Justin started typing furiously.
"I've got a match..."
"Bring it up," instructed Meng Yeow. Justin nods and presses a button. The info of Juza-seijin appears on the projector screen.
"Juza-seijin Buraidei.." muttered Weijie. "Where can we find him?"
"According to this information report, he assumed the human identity of Jude Burai, an American-Japanese, as soon as he arrived on Earth. Motive not known, and he is reported to be working as a salesman," Meng Yeow elaborated. "Interesting.. He was an ex-Alienizer who seemed to have betrayed a few agents in the darkest ends of the universe, and escaped to Earth."
"He appears to be living in a three-room flat in Commonwealth..." continued Rebecca.
"We'll get him for sure," Basil remarked.
"Exactly what I need you to do. Arrest him," he said with a stern look. "Dekaranger. Set off!"
The six rangers stand up and salute.
"Yes Sir!"

A Housing Development Board block. Many high-rise apartments like this are found in Singapore, as land space is very scarce. The DekaVehicles are parked in the open-air carpark, drawing stares from the children playing at the void decks (or first floors, where there are usually no inhabitants) nearby.
The elevator at the 9th floor opens, and the six unmorphed Dekarangers exit from it, all with their SP Shooters. Ashley checks out the corridors. Nothing. He gives the all-clear signal to move out. The other five move and surround the door of an apartment. The Dekarangers nod to each other, as Basil uses his fingers to count down five seconds.
FIVE! Weijie kicks down the door, and the six storm the apartment. Rebecca and Nicholas break into the study room.
"Room 1 clear!"
Weijie and Ashley enter the master bedroom, and open the door of the master bedroom toilet. Nothing.
"Room 2 clear!"
Basil and Yi Qin brace themselves as they prepare to assault the last unsearched room. Yi Qin nods to him. Basil tries to bang down the door but it is locked. He uses the SP Shooter to fire a shot at the handle, breaking the lock. They run into the room, and clear it out as quick as possible. Basil holsters his SP Shooter.
"Room 3, cleared. Nothing at all, let's go," As they were preparing to leave the room, something dropped out of the wardrobe. Yi Qin has a shock and fires at it. The others are stunned and point their firearms out of their respective room doors.
"Bas, what's that?"
Yi Qin lowers the tip of her gun, revealing the object to be only a mere teddy bear. She breathes a sigh of relief, as Basil gives her a sarcastic twang of the eyebrow.
"Nothing. Let's go"
"Sorry," Yi Qin apologised with a grin. The Dekarangers headed to the carpark, and drove off.

"Now is the time...." Aburera said to Blitz. "Make him pay..."

Closeup shot of a nametag. 'JUDE BURAI'. Jude Burai, or Juza-seijin Buraidei. He is at a table outside the Carrefour hypermart promoting electric irons. An interested woman stops at the table to browse around.
"Hi would you like to have a look at this newest electric iron from Tefal? It has a the latest built-in safety feature!"
A man wearing a suit with black shades is attracted to the promotion. He stands next to the woman and observes Jude as he advertises the product. Jude notices him.
"Hi sir, would you like to try it out right here?"
"Of course..." the man said slowly. "Buraidei..."
Jude looked at him in fear. His real name had been said by this total stranger! Jude staggered back in fear, dropping the iron. The woman had a weird look in her eyes.
"You... Who are you?"
"What's going on?" The woman asked.
"Hahahaha..." The man laughed and transformed into Blitz. "You will pay!"
"No!" Jude screamed as the woman ran away. Some security officers scrambled to the scene. Blitz threw the table at them, and headed straight towards Jude.
"Afraid to show yourself?" Blitz taunted as he grabbed Jude's neck and pinned him against the wall. "You'll eventually have to anyway!"
A syringe appeared in Blitz's hand. He laughed maniacally as Jude struggled. Blitz stabbed the syringe into Jude and emptied its contents into his body.
"AARGH!!!" Blitz released Jude and let him fall to his knees. The oldest of the Hell's Three Siblings turned around, laughing and disappeared, while Jude was left struggling on the floor. Members of the public attempted to help him, but they were thrown off violently. Jude began to show his true form, to the shock of the pedestrians.

The DekaVehicles are driving on the highway. The communications link system beeps. Rebecca presses the button.
"People, we have a situation. 10-20 Carrefour Suntec," Justin's voice came over the link.
"Roger that, we'll go," responds Basil. He switches the channel to 8. "You guys heard that?"
"Got it," came Weijie's reply.
"Suntec's not far from here," Nicholas said.
"I think we might have to..." Ashley said, his last words drowned out by the powerful first blare of the sirens from the DekaVehicles, as they screeched and made a sharp U-turn to the other lane of the highway, causing a few cars to veer out of the way and hit the barricades on the side of the highway. The three vehicles sped off towards their location.
"Oi!" shouted a man in one of the cars.

Suntec City with all its lustre. It has five distinct buildings, four towers and one convention centre, all which were designed to look like a hand with five fingers sticking out. On the "palm" of the hand is the world-famous Fountain of Wealth, with its auspicious waters flowing down from its large bronze inner frame.
The DekaVehicles drive around the Fountain of Wealth and stop at Tower 3, where Carrefour is located. The six officers run into the building, where Juza-seijin is running amok, slashing people and property, his personality having changed from a friendly alien to one full of fury.
"STOP!"
Juza-seijin turns around and sees the six officers pointing their SP Shooters at him.
"Who are you?" Juza-seijin demands.
"We are the Space Police's Earth branch, Dekaranger!" Basil replies him sternly. The usual busy-body crowd which has just formed is stunned by the declaration!
"This planet's Deka? Ha!" Juza-seijin replies and throws out a few spheres. "Anaroids!"
About twenty of the android footsoldiers appear from the spheres. They head forward to attack the Dekarangers. The six start firing at them one by one, with an array of martial arts moves to compliment their attacks. The Anaroids seem to be immune to their rapid firing.
"What?" Weijie exclaimed as he rested his foot on the ground after an acrobatic jump. He notices Nicholas being forced to a fist-fight after his SP Shooter was hit off his hands.
"They're too strong!" Nicholas shouted.
"Right! Do you guys wanna?" Yi Qin proposed from her position.
"Good idea!" Rebecca responded.
"Then let's do it!" Ashley said, kicking away the Anaroid blocking his way. The whole team of six regroup, and take out their devices.
"Ready?" Basil asked. The others nodded.
"EMERGENCY!" The team of six executed their henshin moves. The main five jumped into the sky, transformed without their helmets.
"Face off!" The POLICE badges appear on their foreheads as the helmet forms over their heads.

The six Dekarangers stand, transformed and ready for battle, to the amusement of the crowd watching.
"Dekarangers! It's the Dekarangers!" A boy shouted. DekaBreak looked at him and gave him a thumbs-up.
"People, get out of here now! Run!" DekaRed shouted. Unknown to him, Rinna was part of the crowd, and she was not intending on going anywhere, as she wanted to see her husband in action. As a result, while the people were busy clearing the mall, Rinna only hid in a small corner, hoping that she would not be seen by the Alienizers. DekaRed smacked his right fist into his left hand.
"D-Magnum!"
"D-Knuckle!"
"D-Rod!"
"D-Stick!"
"D-Stick!"
"BrayThrottle!" DekaBreak brandished his henshin device-cum-weapon. Using it as a weapon, he can perform a speed crashing attack on his opponent. The Dekarangers fought the Anaroids, DekaGreen and DekaPink synchronized their attack and smashed their D-Arms onto a group of Anaroids. DekaYellow created a distraction while DekaBreak, DekaBlue and DekaRed prepared their weapons. DekaRed jumped with his D-Magnums.
"One!" He fired wildly at the Anaroids, knocking down five of them.
"Two!" DekaBlue twirled in mid-air and landed a punch on one Anaroid, at the same time kicking another. DekaBreak revved up his throttle, and ran straight into the remaining few Anaroids, smashing them away like bowling pins. He stopped running and threw his right hand up, cheering.
"Break point! Deka 1 Alienizer 0!"
Juza-seijin took the chance to attempt an escape, he ran towards an aisle, and saw Rinna hiding there. Screaming madly, she was taken hostage by Juza-seijin. He went back out into the open.
"If you don't surrender, she will die!" Juza-seijin proclaimed loudly, displaying his hostage for all to see. Members of the public gasped in horror as a hostage was taken, but the ones who were most shocked were the Dekarangers themselves!
"RINNA!" DekaRed shouted in fear.
"Save me!" Rinna screamed. "Basil!"
DekaRed stopped fighting. He didn't know what to do, it was either they surrendered, or they make an attempt to save her. But if they failed...
"Basil!" DekaYellow shouted at him, hitting an Anaroid with her D-Stick. "Fight on!"
"No......" he stammered. "No!"
"You know each other?" Juza-seijin remarked. "That would make it more interesting!"

Bongoburin and Blitz are watching the action from a nearby area.
"This guy is really creative," Blitz commented.
"That's good," Bongoburin responded. "Isn't it?"
"Well the battle is going to get more interesting!"

Adeline arrived at the scene, she fought her way through the crowd and reached the front of the police cordon, close enough to see her brother standing in front of Juza-seijin and his hostage.
"Bro?" she said, drawing the attention of the people near her.
"Eh her brother is that one?" a woman said.
"The Dekaranger! Red one," another woman replied
Adeline saw the face of the hostage...
"It can't be! Sis-in-law?!" The people in the front row began gossiping.
"Bro, do something..." Adeline muttered under her breath. "Save her... Don't just stand there!"

"Release her!" DekaRed shouted. "Let her go!"
"This a fight between you and me!" Juza-seijin declared. "Come on!"
With those words, Juza-seijin jumped out of the concourse, above the crowd and into the Fountain of Wealth area.
"I'm going..."
"What about us?"
"He said it, this was a fight between me and him," DekaRed noticed DekaPink trying to speak up. "No, I don't know what he wants.."
"How did you know what I wanted to say?" DekaPink wondered, looking down. When she looked up, DekaRed was gone.

A closeup of the words SPD ARMS on the D-Magnum 01 was shown. DekaRed ran towards Juza-seijin, who was in the middle of the Fountain of Wealth, still with the hostage in his grasp.
"Basil!" Rinna screamed.
"Shut up!" Juza-seijin barked fiercely at her. DekaRed was running towards them, growling angrily. Suddenly, an Igaroid jumped in front of him and whipped him away with his sword.
"What?" DekaRed recovered from the blow, as he recognised a former opponent. "Igaroid!"
"You still remember..."
"Of course I do! What are you doing here!"
"Trying to stop you!" Igaroid drew his sword and placed it at DekaRed's neck.
"Damn... You..."

The other Dekarangers arrive at the scene, and see their colleague embroiled in a heated duel with the Igaroid, while Juza-seijin remains in the centre of the fountain.
"Igaroid?" DekaGreen questioned. "We defeated him long ago!"
"Igaroid, Batsuroid, Anaroid, if we can beat them I don't see why we can't beat him!" DekaPink declared.
"What are we waiting for?" DekaBlue commanded. "Let's go!"
The five Dekarangers joined in the battle with Igaroid. DekaBlue and DekaBreak were thrown backwards by the Igaroid's powerful sword. He slashed DekaPink and DekaRed, leaving only DekaYellow and DekaBreak. DekaBreak jumped and tried to kick Igaroid in the head, but the Igaroid was too fast.
"Cross Attack!" Igaroid smashed his sword into the ground, sending a thunderbolt straight at the Dekarangers.
"Run!" DekaGreen shouted. A blue blur appeared in front of them, diverting the thunderbolt away. It was DekaMaster! He turned around to address them.
"Sir!" DekaRed shouted.
"Basil! Go and save your wife, we'll take care of things here!"
"Thank you sir!" DekaRed ran towards Juza-seijin, without anyone's obstruction.
"DekaMaster..." Igaroid started. "A human sent to finish a dog's job?"
"You do not speak of Kruger that way!" DekaMaster hollered.
"That's for me to decide!"
"Ginga no Kenryuu!" DekaMaster jumped and executed his powerful special attack on the Igaroid, damaging its circuitry. The Igaroid dropped to the ground, and dismantled itself.

"Let her go!"
"Never! I've had enough!!!" Juza-seijin raised the blade on his right hand. As the scene changed to a slow-motion shot, DekaRed saw the fear in his wife's eyes.
"She will die today!!!"
"NO!!!" DekaRed withdrew his D-Magnums and ran straight towards Juza-seijin, firing madly, but stunningly each shot missed!!!
"Hahaha!" As Juza-seijin stabbed his blade into Rinna, scenes of Basil and Rinna's courtship flashed throughout her mind.
FLASHBACK (Images play as Stratovarius' "Forever" plays)
Ten years ago, Basil and Rinna finished their GCE 'O' Level papers. They had been classmates for the past four years, and began dating a month after the 'O' Levels. They frequently went to the East Coast Beach. She went to a Junior College, while he went to a Polytechnic. They still continued dating.
A few years later, she went to University, while he decided to become a Police Officer. He proposed to her in December 2001, and they got married in July 2002, after her graduation. Shortly after, he was posted to Japan on a Dekaranger probationary attachment.
They returned to Singapore in mid-2005 where he continued his Dekaranger assignment, now with the rest of the team. She recalls when he came home late, but he still ate the food she cooked regardless of whether he liked it, or whether it was hot or cold.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Noooo!!!" DekaRed was still running towards Juza-seijin, out of nowhere, a tentacle shot and grabbed his leg, tripping him over. "Argh! RINNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The team heard his angry roar. They immediately rushed to the site of the battle. Juza-seijin drops Rinna's body. DekaRed has recovered from one corner, and appeared to be in a terrible state of mind. He sees a slip of paper drop out of her hand. It was a report from the gynaecologist, showing that she was pregnant. The revelation struck his heart further...
"You..." he muttered. "YOU!"
"Wait! I've observed at DekaBase! Juza-seijin's behaviour is strange!" DekaMaster shouted.
DekaRed suddenly seemed to be full of energy, as he got up and ran towards Juza-seijin, screaming and firing madly, ignoring his other team-mate's calls. DekaMaster had no choice but to pull a quick judgement on Juza-seijin.
"Judgement!" The clock appeared over Juza-seijin. It ticked quickly, alternating between a red X and a pair of blue handcuffs. The judgement proved Juza-seijin not guilty.
"Not guilty!" DekaBreak shouted. "He is not guilty!"
"Basil! No!"
Juza-seijin appeared to be facing death, as DekaRed raised one of the D-Magnums to strike him.
"HE IS NOT GUILTY!" DekaRed heard Rinna's voice telling him. He suddenly stopped in front of Juza-seijin, and dropped to his knees, reverting back to his human form, a destroyed man.

Basil walks along the beach where he and Rinna used to date when they were teenagers. As soon as they got married, he bought a house near the beach. But now, she is gone, and he has decided what he must do.

Meng Yeow walks into the DekaRoom, and he sees an SP License with a pair of Staff Sergeant rank epaulettes on the table. He picks up the SP License, and notices a note underneath.
"I'm not fit to be a Deka. I need to discover my soul. I didn't lose only my wife, but my child too. I'll be back only when I have learnt the true meaning of regret..."
Meng Yeow grasped the paper tightly. Although his best officer had almost lost his mind, he knew that one day he would be back, stronger than ever...

We see an ultrasound scan of a foetus on the machine. The gynaecologist takes a seat and scribbles something.
"Congratulations! You're tested positive for pregnancy, your husband didn't come with you?"
"No, he's working," a familiar female voice said.
"Could his work be more important than you, and his future child?" The gynaecologist asked.
"It definitely is," she replied calmly, laughing a little. "He helps people, like you."
"Interesting," he remarked. "What does he do?" he inquired again, this time passing to her the report he scribbled on the paper, the camera pans and we can see the woman is Rinna.
"He's the leader of Special Police Dekaranger," she said, with a smile, that seemed to last forever...

"No!" Jude screamed as the woman ran away. Some security officers scrambled to the scene. Blitz threw the table at them, and headed straight towards Jude.
"Afraid to show yourself?" Blitz taunted as he grabbed Jude's neck and pinned him against the wall. "You'll eventually have to anyway!"
A syringe appeared in Blitz's hand. He laughed maniacally as Jude struggled. Blitz stabbed the syringe into Jude and emptied its contents into his body.
"AARGH!!!" Blitz released Jude and let him fall to his knees. The oldest of the Hell's Three Siblings turned around, laughing and disappeared, while Jude was left struggling on the floor. Members of the public attempted to help him, but they were thrown off violently. Jude began to show his true form, to the shock of the pedestrians.

The DekaVehicles are driving on the highway. The communications link system beeps. Rebecca presses the button.
"People, we have a situation. 10-20 Carrefour Suntec," Justin's voice came over the link.
"Roger that, we'll go," responds Basil. He switches the channel to 8. "You guys heard that?"
"Got it," came Weijie's reply.
"Suntec's not far from here," Nicholas said.
"I think we might have to..." Ashley said, his last words drowned out by the powerful first blare of the sirens from the DekaVehicles, as they screeched and made a sharp U-turn to the other lane of the highway, causing a few cars to veer out of the way and hit the barricades on the side of the highway. The three vehicles sped off towards their location.
"Oi!" shouted a man in one of the cars.

Suntec City with all its lustre. It has five distinct buildings, four towers and one convention centre, all which were designed to look like a hand with five fingers sticking out. On the "palm" of the hand is the world-famous Fountain of Wealth, with its auspicious waters flowing down from its large bronze inner frame.
The DekaVehicles drive around the Fountain of Wealth and stop at Tower 3, where Carrefour is located. The six officers run into the building, where Juza-seijin is running amok, slashing people and property, his personality having changed from a friendly alien to one full of fury.
"STOP!"
Juza-seijin turns around and sees the six officers pointing their SP Shooters at him.
"Who are you?" Juza-seijin demands.
"We are the Space Police's Earth branch, Dekaranger!" Basil replies him sternly. The usual busy-body crowd which has just formed is stunned by the declaration!
"This planet's Deka? Ha!" Juza-seijin replies and throws out a few spheres. "Anaroids!"
About twenty of the android footsoldiers appear from the spheres. They head forward to attack the Dekarangers. The six start firing at them one by one, with an array of martial arts moves to compliment their attacks. The Anaroids seem to be immune to their rapid firing.
"What?" Weijie exclaimed as he rested his foot on the ground after an acrobatic jump. He notices Nicholas being forced to a fist-fight after his SP Shooter was hit off his hands.
"They're too strong!" Nicholas shouted.
"Right! Do you guys wanna?" Yi Qin proposed from her position.
"Good idea!" Rebecca responded.
"Then let's do it!" Ashley said, kicking away the Anaroid blocking his way. The whole team of six regroup, and take out their devices.
"Ready?" Basil asked. The others nodded.
"EMERGENCY!" The team of six executed their henshin moves. The main five jumped into the sky, transformed without their helmets.
"Face off!" The POLICE badges appear on their foreheads as the helmet forms over their heads.

The six Dekarangers stand, transformed and ready for battle, to the amusement of the crowd watching.
"Dekarangers! It's the Dekarangers!" A boy shouted. DekaBreak looked at him and gave him a thumbs-up.
"People, get out of here now! Run!" DekaRed shouted. Unknown to him, Rinna was part of the crowd, and she was not intending on going anywhere, as she wanted to see her husband in action. As a result, while the people were busy clearing the mall, Rinna only hid in a small corner, hoping that she would not be seen by the Alienizers. DekaRed smacked his right fist into his left hand.
"D-Magnum!"
"D-Knuckle!"
"D-Rod!"
"D-Stick!"
"D-Stick!"
"BrayThrottle!" DekaBreak brandished his henshin device-cum-weapon. Using it as a weapon, he can perform a speed crashing attack on his opponent. The Dekarangers fought the Anaroids, DekaGreen and DekaPink synchronized their attack and smashed their D-Arms onto a group of Anaroids. DekaYellow created a distraction while DekaBreak, DekaBlue and DekaRed prepared their weapons. DekaRed jumped with his D-Magnums.
"One!" He fired wildly at the Anaroids, knocking down five of them.
"Two!" DekaBlue twirled in mid-air and landed a punch on one Anaroid, at the same time kicking another. DekaBreak revved up his throttle, and ran straight into the remaining few Anaroids, smashing them away like bowling pins. He stopped running and threw his right hand up, cheering.
"Break point! Deka 1 Alienizer 0!"
Juza-seijin took the chance to attempt an escape, he ran towards an aisle, and saw Rinna hiding there. Screaming madly, she was taken hostage by Juza-seijin. He went back out into the open.
"If you don't surrender, she will die!" Juza-seijin proclaimed loudly, displaying his hostage for all to see. Members of the public gasped in horror as a hostage was taken, but the ones who were most shocked were the Dekarangers themselves!
"RINNA!" DekaRed shouted in fear.
"Save me!" Rinna screamed. "Basil!"
DekaRed stopped fighting. He didn't know what to do, it was either they surrendered, or they make an attempt to save her. But if they failed...
"Basil!" DekaYellow shouted at him, hitting an Anaroid with her D-Stick. "Fight on!"
"No......" he stammered. "No!"
"You know each other?" Juza-seijin remarked. "That would make it more interesting!"

Bongoburin and Blitz are watching the action from a nearby area.
"This guy is really creative," Blitz commented.
"That's good," Bongoburin responded. "Isn't it?"
"Well the battle is going to get more interesting!"

Adeline arrived at the scene, she fought her way through the crowd and reached the front of the police cordon, close enough to see her brother standing in front of Juza-seijin and his hostage.
"Bro?" she said, drawing the attention of the people near her.
"Eh her brother is that one?" a woman said.
"The Dekaranger! Red one," another woman replied
Adeline saw the face of the hostage...
"It can't be! Sis-in-law?!" The people in the front row began gossiping.
"Bro, do something..." Adeline muttered under her breath. "Save her... Don't just stand there!"

"Release her!" DekaRed shouted. "Let her go!"
"This a fight between you and me!" Juza-seijin declared. "Come on!"
With those words, Juza-seijin jumped out of the concourse, above the crowd and into the Fountain of Wealth area.
"I'm going..."
"What about us?"
"He said it, this was a fight between me and him," DekaRed noticed DekaPink trying to speak up. "No, I don't know what he wants.."
"How did you know what I wanted to say?" DekaPink wondered, looking down. When she looked up, DekaRed was gone.

A closeup of the words SPD ARMS on the D-Magnum 01 was shown. DekaRed ran towards Juza-seijin, who was in the middle of the Fountain of Wealth, still with the hostage in his grasp.
"Basil!" Rinna screamed.
"Shut up!" Juza-seijin barked fiercely at her. DekaRed was running towards them, growling angrily. Suddenly, an Igaroid jumped in front of him and whipped him away with his sword.
"What?" DekaRed recovered from the blow, as he recognised a former opponent. "Igaroid!"
"You still remember..."
"Of course I do! What are you doing here!"
"Trying to stop you!" Igaroid drew his sword and placed it at DekaRed's neck.
"Damn... You..."

The other Dekarangers arrive at the scene, and see their colleague embroiled in a heated duel with the Igaroid, while Juza-seijin remains in the centre of the fountain.
"Igaroid?" DekaGreen questioned. "We defeated him long ago!"
"Igaroid, Batsuroid, Anaroid, if we can beat them I don't see why we can't beat him!" DekaPink declared.
"What are we waiting for?" DekaBlue commanded. "Let's go!"
The five Dekarangers joined in the battle with Igaroid. DekaBlue and DekaBreak were thrown backwards by the Igaroid's powerful sword. He slashed DekaPink and DekaRed, leaving only DekaYellow and DekaBreak. DekaBreak jumped and tried to kick Igaroid in the head, but the Igaroid was too fast.
"Cross Attack!" Igaroid smashed his sword into the ground, sending a thunderbolt straight at the Dekarangers.
"Run!" DekaGreen shouted. A blue blur appeared in front of them, diverting the thunderbolt away. It was DekaMaster! He turned around to address them.
"Sir!" DekaRed shouted.
"Basil! Go and save your wife, we'll take care of things here!"
"Thank you sir!" DekaRed ran towards Juza-seijin, without anyone's obstruction.
"DekaMaster..." Igaroid started. "A human sent to finish a dog's job?"
"You do not speak of Kruger that way!" DekaMaster hollered.
"That's for me to decide!"
"Ginga no Kenryuu!" DekaMaster jumped and executed his powerful special attack on the Igaroid, damaging its circuitry. The Igaroid dropped to the ground, and dismantled itself.

"Let her go!"
"Never! I've had enough!!!" Juza-seijin raised the blade on his right hand. As the scene changed to a slow-motion shot, DekaRed saw the fear in his wife's eyes.
"She will die today!!!"
"NO!!!" DekaRed withdrew his D-Magnums and ran straight towards Juza-seijin, firing madly, but stunningly each shot missed!!!
"Hahaha!" As Juza-seijin stabbed his blade into Rinna, scenes of Basil and Rinna's courtship flashed throughout her mind.
FLASHBACK (Images play as Stratovarius' "Forever" plays)
Ten years ago, Basil and Rinna finished their GCE 'O' Level papers. They had been classmates for the past four years, and began dating a month after the 'O' Levels. They frequently went to the East Coast Beach. She went to a Junior College, while he went to a Polytechnic. They still continued dating.
A few years later, she went to University, while he decided to become a Police Officer. He proposed to her in December 2001, and they got married in July 2002, after her graduation. Shortly after, he was posted to Japan on a Dekaranger probationary attachment.
They returned to Singapore in mid-2005 where he continued his Dekaranger assignment, now with the rest of the team. She recalls when he came home late, but he still ate the food she cooked regardless of whether he liked it, or whether it was hot or cold.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Noooo!!!" DekaRed was still running towards Juza-seijin, out of nowhere, a tentacle shot and grabbed his leg, tripping him over. "Argh! RINNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The team heard his angry roar. They immediately rushed to the site of the battle. Juza-seijin drops Rinna's body. DekaRed has recovered from one corner, and appeared to be in a terrible state of mind. He sees a slip of paper drop out of her hand. It was a report from the gynaecologist, showing that she was pregnant. The revelation struck his heart further...
"You..." he muttered. "YOU!"
"Wait! I've observed at DekaBase! Juza-seijin's behaviour is strange!" DekaMaster shouted.
DekaRed suddenly seemed to be full of energy, as he got up and ran towards Juza-seijin, screaming and firing madly, ignoring his other team-mate's calls. DekaMaster had no choice but to pull a quick judgement on Juza-seijin.
"Judgement!" The clock appeared over Juza-seijin. It ticked quickly, alternating between a red X and a pair of blue handcuffs. The judgement proved Juza-seijin not guilty.
"Not guilty!" DekaBreak shouted. "He is not guilty!"
"Basil! No!"
Juza-seijin appeared to be facing death, as DekaRed raised one of the D-Magnums to strike him.
"HE IS NOT GUILTY!" DekaRed heard Rinna's voice telling him. He suddenly stopped in front of Juza-seijin, and dropped to his knees, reverting back to his human form, a destroyed man.

Meng Yeow walks into the DekaRoom, and he sees an SP License with a pair of Staff Sergeant rank epaulettes on the table. He picks up the SP License, and notices a note underneath.
"I'm not fit to be a Deka. I need to discover my soul. I didn't lose only my wife, but my child too. I'll be back only when I have learnt the true meaning of regret..."
Meng Yeow grasped the paper tightly. Although his best officer had almost lost his mind, he knew that one day he would be back, stronger than ever...

We see an ultrasound scan of a foetus on the machine. The gynaecologist takes a seat and scribbles something.
"Congratulations! You're tested positive for pregnancy, your husband didn't come with you?"
"No, he's working," a familiar female voice said.
"Could his work be more important than you, and his future child?" The gynaecologist asked.
"It definitely is," she replied calmly, laughing a little. "He helps people, like you."
"Interesting," he remarked. "What does he do?" he inquired again, this time passing to her the report he scribbled on the paper, the camera pans and we can see the woman is Rinna.
"He's the leader of Special Police Dekaranger," she said, with a smile, that seemed to last forever...
