I'd trade some things to you for MMPR on 8-hr videos if you can do that.

Yeah shut the hell up. Must you comment on everything.

grnrngr

Much like "hey, that guy's robbing the store", I like to comment when people are breaking the law.

Plus, you should reform: if Biff's on your side, you're screwed.

What does grnrngr got against PR 4ever?

What does grnrngr got against PR 4ever?

grnrngr just doesn't like people selling episodes.

grnrngr

GrnRngr doesn't like people selling episodes because it is illegal.

PR4ever has tried before to do so here, and now he's trying again.

Whereas, Darky is trying to TRADE, and therefore :023:

Not only is it illegal, I'm willing to bet he didn't encode them himself either... That's like me downloading all of ViRGE's encodes of Dino Thunder and selling them to un-suspecting noobs like those defending this PR4ever kid... It's illegal and wrong.

Not to kick the horse in the teeth or anything, but Henshin Video does the same thing for sentai.... and people buy them like hotcakes. Though he does claim "all sales are from collector to collector with rights given or implied". It doesn't really "protect him from lega action, but eh whatever.... PR 4ever, just like Henshin Video, is trying to preserve the classics.... I say let him do it, and if he gets caught it's his own fault.... :D

Ah, but your logic is flawed in numerous ways, not the least of which is the fact that Henshin Video is closed:

1) "Preserving the classics" -- up until recently, once sentai aired on TV, it never aired again. This is CERTAINLY not true of PR.
2) "Collector to Collector" -- sentai is not available to a US audience, be it on TV or media. However, PR is available on BOTH.

I'm not defending Henshin Video. However, licensing rights of sentai in America have never been inforced.

Selling PR is blatantly illegal, and is much worse then selling sentai.

Well it shouldn't be illegal, they don't want to sell it on DVD they have no right to bitch. Damn courts. Has anyone here actually bought/traded with PR 4ever anyway?

If there's one thing that RB has taught me: no one can go very long without saying something totally stupid.

I didn't know that it was illegal. How do you?

It's illegality is a generally well-known fact. No different than illegal file sharing.

Technically, just speaking, writing or typing any PR copyrighted name is illegal...

Megazord!

That'll be two years in the slammer...

Yes, TRADING. Trading is legal. SELLING is not.

You can trade, that's legal, but selling is illegal. I trade all the time, the FTC don't give a shit about that

I know it is illegal to sell MMPR episodes, and eBay doesn't prohibit selling unauthorized recordings of TV shows, but many people have gotten away with it. Just take this guy for instance:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6330450455&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Personally I don't trust the seller at all for 2 reasons:

1) This isn't the first time they've sold the MMPR S1-3 set on eBay, and still 0 feedback (even after 2 months)

2) The bidder history/userid is kept private.....

But eBay is an option, but be advised I'll warn you about putting any TV shows prerecorded onto eBay one time, and one time only, ever other time after, I'll notify eBay (though I've notified eBay about this person + auction many, many times, and they still get a way with selling it)...

Part of the reason he has no feedback is because I usually catch him in time and shut his auctions down.

That one must've slipped. :(
