Here's a little bit of episode two, i will have a couple more pages up later today, I'll try to do them before I leave, once again, thanks for the encourage meant. :023:
EPISODE 2: RESPONSIBILITY part one
The rangers finally reached the town. They looked around and saw people stop dead in their tracks and stare at them. They rode up to the bank. They all got off their bikes and walked up to the front door with a confident stride.
“Lets do this,” Chris said as they reached for the handle of the huge glass door, next thing they knew they were thrown back. Someone had already been in there, and they blew away the front side of the bank.
What emerged from the bank was a bigger surprise to the new rangers. A huge monster with six arms and a bulging black head. He had four glowing green eyes. His skin was black and each arm had long red claws. One hand though was holding a man. He had short black hair and was wearing a leather jacket over a red t-shirt. He glanced down and saw Chris. He looked surprised.
Chris looked up, and when their eyes had met, he knew who this was. He didn’t turn to his friends, he continued to watch, “Guys, that’s, that’s.” He couldn’t get the words out.
“Whos is it man? A friend of yours?” Jay asked.
“No. That’s Jason Scott. The original red ranger. Look, we have a lot of info on him. He also became the gold ranger at one time!”
The others looked at him and began to look as the insides of their visor fed them information. They read with curiosity as the monster yelled to no one, “MASTER!! I HAVE THE LAST ONE!”
The others looked at him as he was sucked into the sky and became a green light. They watched as he disappeared into the evening sky. A small crowd of civilians circled them. They glared at the rangers with a hate in their eyes.
“Why didn’t you stop them!” “What’s your problem!” “what kind of rangers are you!”
The rangers just backed up and Alex said, “So what, where does it say that if we have powers we have to help people!?” He turned to look at his friends and Tara spoke next, “Yeah, what have any of you done for us?!”
Chris didn’t hear the rest of what they were saying. He was too focused on wondering why he and his friends were acting like this. Sure they had their problems with society, but they never wanted to hurt anyone. They always wanted to make society better. Then he realized, that society hated them. They were always losers, outcasts, they were all ridiculed because their fellow classmates didn’t care about what we could do to help people. It was always about numero uno.
He stepped forward infront of the person who was talking to Olivia and cursing her out. He drew his fist back and released it so fast into the face of the man, that they could barely see it “I dunno what rangers you’re used to, but we’re not happy with the way things are, and we’ll do what we want. When we want!” He and the other rangers walked up to the bank and Alex, Chris and Jay each grabbed a security guard who were still woozy from the monster’s attack. They then procedded to throw them through a window and grabbed a few bags of cash.
They then got on their bikes and drove off into the night. Alex was the first to say, “That was too easy, I almost felt bad for them.”
“Me too,” Olivia said, “I also had this weird moment were I wondered why we were doing that.”
“So did I,” Jay and Tara said in unison. Chris had not spoken up. He just continued to drive. He didn’t want to think about these things anymore. He had more important things to worry about, like how to spend the cash.
In the earth’s atmosphere, the monster reached Emperor Zedd’s ship. He walked into the main throne and knelt down, “Master I have done my job and the last of them is locked up the cell. You may now destroy the world.”
“I’ll decide when to destroy it! Maybe I wanna have a little fun! Ever think of me, the one in charge!”
“I’m sorry mast...” he was cut off because Zedd destroyed him using a blast of black lightning from his staff, he then turned and walked over to a viewing screen and saw the monster’s kidnapping of the red ranger. He noticed something in the bottom corner. Five people in five different colors of spandex.
“NOO! THAT BASTARD FORGOT TO TELL ME THAT HE SAW POWER RANGERS! THOSE SPANDEX WEARING FREAKS MUST DIE! I’LL SEND MY ARMY OF “Z” PUTTIES DOWN TO STOP THEM!”
He called upon his army of Z putties who ran down the corridors toward a port that would instantly transport them to earth. They all appeared standing in the street by the desert, they saw the rangers far off in the distance. They waited for them.
The rangers were pretty happy, they had all the money they wanted, the world at their fingertips, what else could they ask for. They then saw twenty humanoid figures in the road, they came to a screeching halt.
“Hey guys,” Olivia said, “These are putties, we can destroy them by hitting that Z on their chests.”
The rangers dismounted their bikes and walked up to the putties. Jay went to punch one, but his punch was caught in mid-air. The putty even looked surprised. It then kicked Jay in the stomach knocking him down, he demorphed back to his orginal form and passed out.
The other four were about to get in the fight when they demorphed. They all looked confused, even the putties. The rangers just looked at each other.
“What’s going on,” Alex yelled.
“I don’t know,” Chris responded frantically.
"I'm being told that our powers are not meant for personal gain, and that they're being turned off!" Tara yelled.
"Can that be done?!" Olivia screamed.
Before they knew it they were all out cold. They putties did a little victory dance and were then transported to Zedd’s ship along with the rangers. The rangers had no idea that their lifes were about to change forever, and that the future is full of surprises.
