I remember browsing the Net about, say, 6 or 7 years ago, looking for PR fanfics. I stumbled across one pretty huge series, and I don't remember the name, writer, or URL of it. In fact, Googling for it recently turns up absolutely nothing, and I really want to hunt it down and read it again, so I figured I'd ask here. Things I can remember from the series:
- At the end of the first story, Tommy learns that he has a sister, and she didn't even speak English (I think they had to communicate by American Sign Language at first). She was pretty rude towards him to begin with.
- Ivan Ooze, in one of the stories, was freed from his evil and turned good. Later on, he couldn't take what he had done and ended up committing suicide by tying a ball and chain around his ankle and walking into the ocean.
- One story had Tommy actually dying by accident. Kim managed to visit him on his way to Heaven in his sleep. They bumped uglies while she was there. I have NO idea. Somehow or another, the good deeds done by the Rangers in times past let him be ressurrected, Star of Bethelem floating over the house where the other Rangers were mourning to guide him back and everything.
- One of the female characters in the series was a magical healer that had two kids because of having to heal random guys in the past that had taken damage to their reproductive systems. This may or may not have been Tommy's sister, or her Mom. (I think she was a half-sister; I could be wrong though)
Yeah, it was a crazy series. And I'm not sure if being 14/15 really gave me a good perspective on whether it was really as good as I thought it was, but I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread at the time.
Anybody remember anything like this? I'd really love to take a gander at it again.
