On the outskirts of an ancient city appeared the time portal and out of it came the Time Ship carrying the Time Freeze Clan. Once it was out of the portal the ship vanished turning invisible so its couldn’t be spotted.
Moments later the Time Warp ship flew out of the portal and landed on the ground. The Rangers came out to inspect the land and to see where they had come to.
“So where have we come to this time?” Kaira asked as she looked down the hill.
“Rome. 264 BC.” Ashure announced to the group as he looked on his Timeunizer.
“Hey is that the coliseum?” Zy asked as he pointed to a large dome in the city.
“Hey that is the coliseum.” Kaira realized as she too looked at the city. “Oh man we’ve got to go and check it out.”
“We don’t have any time. If you remember we’re here on a mission and that mission is to make sure the Time Freeze Clan doesn’t alter history and take over.” Ashure explained to Zy and Kaira.

Inside the coliseum in a secluded room was the Time Freeze Clan devising their plan of attack.
“So how are we going to take over in this time period?” asked Chronica.
“Yeah that’s what I was wondering.” added Akumu.
“We’ll just fight in the coliseum and take over after we’ve won. The king will be watching so we can just kill him and claim the throne.” Chronex explained to his minions.
“Excellent plan my lord.” Combatrix added after Chronex finished his announcement.
“I know isn’t a great plan?” thought Chronex out loud to everyone.

The Rangers walked through the streets of Rome searching for the Time Freeze Clan or anything suspicious to them. There was no one on the streets and the only sound they could hear came from the coliseum. It was the shouting and cheering coming from the crowd sitting inside the stadium.
“Everyone’s gone to the coliseum to watch the gladiators battle.” Zy realized as he said it out loud to the others.
“I think we’d better go there and check out what’s going on. You never know the Time Freeze Clan might be doing something in the coliseum.” Kaira added hoping Ashure would agree and go into the stadium.
“Perhaps they might be doing something in there. I guess we’d better go check it out.” replied Ashure. “Lets go.”

The Rangers came to the entrance of the coliseum where a large crowd of people were still entering through.
“Lets go. We don’t want to get bad seats.” Kaira said to the others.
As they walked in through the entrance, they were bombarded by the large crowd of people and somehow Ashure was separated from Zy and Kaira.
“Where’s Ashure?” asked Zy to Kaira.
“I don’t know. He was with us a moment ago.” Kaira replied.

Ashure was separated from the other Rangers and found himself in the crowd alone. He looked around and spotted a room in which he entered. But inside were gladiators.
“I think I’ve come to the wrong room.” he said to himself.
Two large men approached Ashure and began speaking to him.
“Strap up. You’re up first in the battle.” said one of the men to Ashure.
“No you don’t get it I came to the wrong room. I’m not supposed to be fighting.” Ashure pleaded with the men.
The other man threw a gladiator suit at Ashure and told him to strap up.

Kaira and Zy were seated in one of the many rows of the coliseum. They both worriedly looked around hoping they’d see Ashure.
“Where could he have gone to?” Kaira asked herself.
All of a sudden Ashure came walking out onto the center field of the coliseum suited in the typical gladiator suit with a sword and shield in his hands.
“There he is.” Zy pointed out. “But what’s he doing down there and in the gladiator suit?”
From the other side of the arena came Combatrix from inside. He held his staff tightly in his right hand and stared at Ashure from across.
The rest of the Time Freeze Clan was in sitting in the crowd of people with disguises on.
“Let the battle commence!” announced a man standing near the emperor.
“This is going to be fun.” commented Combatrix as he threw his hand holding the staff down to his side.
Combatrix aimed the staff at Ashure and charged forth. The thrust the sword towards his enemy, but Ashure moved to the side avoiding the strike. Combatrix swung his staff overhead and tried to strike Ashure, but Ashure blocked the attack with his sword and tried to hold him off. Ashure pushed Combatrix away from him with all his might.
“So you want to play like that.” Combatrix said as he became more infuriated.
Combatrix placed his left hand out in front of him and sent a bolt of lighting at Ashure. Ashure held his sword in front of him letting it absorb the attack. He then threw his sword down causing the attack to explode behind him.
Everyone in the stadium were silent from the attack.
“Just don’t morph Ashure.” Zy said to himself worried about what Ashure may or may not do.
Combatrix charged forward and began a fury of fists into Ashure’s stomach. The metal plate covering his stomach was getting beaten and damaged. Combatrix pushed his right fist into Ashure and Ashure was sent hurtling back towards the wall.
“That’s it. You’ve caused me to do something I really shouldn’t do. Chrono Engage!” he exclaimed as he morphed into the Red Chrono Engage Ranger.
Ashure pulled out his Chrono Firearm and fired several blasts at Combatrix, all of them he deflected.
People in the stadium began running out of the place as fast as they could until Zy and Kaira were left as well as the Time Freeze Clan.
“You just had to morph didn’t you.” Zy said to Ashure as he and Kaira arrived next to Ashure.
“Well I had to.” Ashure replied as Zy and Kaira morphed into their Ranger suits.
Zy and Kaira pulled out their Chrono Firearms and combined them with Ashure’s weapon.
“Vortex Revolver!” exclaimed the three Rangers in unison. “Fire!”
The Rangers fired a blast that hit all six members of the Time Freeze Clan. They were all thrown back in different directions and hit the walls which stopped them from moving back anymore.
The six members of the Time Freeze Clan each pulled out their weapon and let out a bolt of energy that combined together to form one large blast that was sent at the Rangers. The Rangers were thrown back to the ground.
“Lets go.” Chronex announced to the rest of the group.
Nimrin pulled his sleeve up and pressed a button his wrist mounted device which brought forth the Time Ship. Everyone teleported into it and flew through a time portal that appeared in the sky.
“After them!” Ashure exclaimed as the Time Warp ship appeared above them.
They boarded the ship and flew through the time portal before it closed.
