Chapter 1

A now 18 year old Kimberly Scott walked the streets of Angel Grove to go to the cemetary. It had been a year since her brother jason died and for the first time he wouldn't be there for her birthday.

Snapping out of her thoughts she realized she had arrived at the cemetary. Bending over and putting down a bundle of white roses, a single tear rolled down her cheek. Even though the grave was empty because jason's body was never found.

"All your life you protected me." she said aloud her voice shaky.

"But when you needed me I couldn't be there for you." She said as she knelled down and put her hand on his grave stone.

"Aw crying over a loved one." A cold evil sounding voice said from behind her. Turning to see who was talking to her, her world exploded in pain as a fist collided with her face.

The force of the punch knocked her all of 20 feet away and into a grave stone, that cracked on the impact of her body. Sitting up a little to clear her head she saw what hit her.

The figure wore all black armor with a cape and a mask that had black horns sticking out of it. Then he started walking towards her slowly as he spoke.

"You will pay dearly for what you've done Gold Ranger." The figure said as he stopped 10 feet from her. Kimberly slowly got to her feet and looked at the figure like he had gone crazy.

"Who the hell are you? And what are you talking about." she said as she started backing back.

"Who I am is not important, but what you did is." The figure retorted.

"Listen man I didn't do anything to you maybe we could just talk-"

"The time for talking is over." the figure cut her off. "Putties attack!" the figure shouted as twenty z putties appeared in the cemetary.

"Ok Pal you asked for it." Kim said as her zeonizers appeared on her wrists.

"It's Morphin Time!" she shouted.

At Ernie's Juice Bar

"Hey Billy can you blow up some more balloons?" Tommy said as he began to mix some punch. "I want everything to be perfect for Kim when she gets here." he added.

"Sure." Billy said as he took some balloons and started to blow them up at the air tank.

The rangers knew it was important to try to cheer kim up. even though it had been a year since jason was gone it was like she shut down emotionally. But today is going to be different, Tommy thought as a smile crept on his face.

"Alright everything is ready, all were waiting for is the guest of honor." Trini said to all of the guests who had come for Kim's birthday party. Almost on cue her communicater went off.

Recieving strange looks from the guests about the noise. She explained that it was for her to remind her of some things. She and the other rangers stepped out into the hallway and answered the communicator.

"This is Trini go ahead." she said talking into the com. unit.

"Trini you and the other rangers must go to Angel grove's cemetary at once. Kimberly is being attacked by putties." Zordon said.

"We're on our way zordon." Trini answered back as she severed the commuication. With one quick look around to see if someone was watching they readied there zeonizers.

"It's Morphin Time!"

Kimberly ducked under a rainbow kick from a putty as she snapped out a kick that hit another one in it's z. Her reward was the putties squeal as it shattered to pieces. Man I can't hold out forever, she thought as she executed a rainbow kick of her own, knocking two putties down to the ground.

As a putty jumped into the air to try to dropkick her a lazer blast hit it making it fall to the ground in pain. Kimberly chanced a look behind her and saw that the other rangers were engaging the rest of the putties in combat.

After they finished off the rest of the putties, they gathered around kimberly and stared at the dark figure that had his arms crossed.

"Who the hell are you?" Tommy shouted at the figure.

"Someone you can't hope to defeat." the figure retorted. His anger building up inside him Tommy ran at the figure full force despite the protests of his friends.

He snapped out a low kick as the figure blocked it on his thigh. Taking a different approach Tommy tried to do a leg sweep on him only for the figure to flip over his legs.

"This game bores me." It said as Tommy tried to punch him only for the figure to grab his fist inches from his face. With one punch to the stomach the figure sent Tommy into the other rangers making him forcibly demorph.

Before the rangers had a chance to fully recover from what happened. The figure stood in front of them. Zack tried to knock him away as he came for Trini first but it just kicked him in the head. It would have knocked him unconcious if not for his powers.

As he took a black sword from his belt, he held it high above his head to deal a death blow to kim as a scream penetrated the silence of the cemetary. Lowering the sword, he holstered it and turned around to walk off.

"It seems that I have prior engagements." he said not turning to face the rangers as they slowly started to stand.

"But don't think I've forgotten about you. Until next time just enjoy your present." he said as he turned around with lightning speed.

“Darkness Revealer!” he shouted as he readied a black energy sphere between his hands and hurled it at the teens. They jumped out of the way just in time to miss the explosion, but the shockwave hurled them into the air, then back on the ground.

As they slowly started to come to, they noticed that they were demorphed with cuts and bruises on there bodies and that the figure was gone.

ok the sword he was using is the magna defenders. also be expecting some zord action in this fanfic aswell.

Chapter 2

"Damnit, what happened?" Tommy asked as he winced and stood up.

"Who the hell was that creep?" Zack asked as he slapped grass off of his clothes.

"I don't know." Kimberly said. "But we better tell Zordon what's going on." she continued. With that they looked around the silent grave yard and teleported to the power chamber.

The dark figure perched on top of a tall building. Looking down at a five story apartment building he saw that it was on fire. Grinning at how the fire was quickly destroying the building he heard that high pitched scream again.

Trying to listen over the sirens of the fire truck and the people below on the streets screaming, he heard the scream come from the fourth floor. Not knowing why he cared about what was going on, he stood up from where he was watching. Bracing his legs he jumped from the building he was on to the burning building. He had to know why he cared.

"And that's all we know." Kimberly said as she finished telling Zordon about what was happening. For a moment Zordon sat in thought before he spoke.

"I don't know who this new creature is, but i will closely monitor the situation. But for right now I would like for you all to go back to Kimberly's party and celebrate."

"Celebrate! How the hell can we celebrate when we almost got killed?" Billy asked startling the others. This was the first time billy ever spoke like this and it was wierd. Even Zordon if he could would have backed away.

"I'm sorry Zordon. I guess I'm kind of frustrated." Billy said as he held his head low.

"That's all right billy. But to answer your question, you should all celebrate because you never want your enemy to know that they have gotten to you. And also there is nothing any of us can do until we know more about the creature that attacked you." Zordon said.

"Ok Zordon if you find out anything let us know." Tommy said as he put his hand on his communicater.

"Before you go, Happy Birthday Kimberly." Zordon said. With a smile from Kim to Zordon they all teleported out, ready to party. Only Zordon was left and he pondered to himself about the new threat that had come to earth.

As he walked through the burning building, the flames themself seemed to bend as he walked passed them. As he walked from room to room he saw a teenage girl huddled up in a corner crying. As he approached her, her head shot up to look at him and she screamed.

"Get away from me." she screamed as she stood up and tried to run. But the figure was faster then she was and came beside her.

"I'm not going to hurt you child, now come with me it's not safe here." he said with his voice full of concern. Why the hell do I care about this girl, he thought. I'm supposed to destroy humanity not save it.

Starting to cough from all of the smoke going into her lungs, she reluctantly grabbed onto him and looked into his eyes. For a moment there eyes met. He could have sworn that he saw those same beautiful brown eyes on another girl long before but he couldn't remember.

Knowing that she was on the verge of passing out he picked her up and was about to head to the window until a support beam fell in front of him, blocking there exit.

"Damnit." He said aloud as he looked around the room for another exit.

"I'm scared." came the voice of the teenage girl.

"Don't be." he said as he looked down at her and backed up into a corner of the room as the fire came closer and closer to them. Knowing of nothing else to do he put her down and focused on the wall closet to the window.

"Darkness Revealer!" he screamed as the black energy ball sailed through the air and made a huge opening in the wall. With lightning speed he picked the girl up and made a run for the opening. In the last possible second he leaped out of the window just as the building exploded. The fire licked his cape as he landed unceremoniusly on the building he was watching from.

As the girl looked up at him she touched his face. With her blurred vision she didn't see a demon with horns. What she saw was a knight with shining black armor. As her mind started to slip further and further into oblivion, she looked at him once more and said.

" Dark Knight ." then she fell into unconciousness.

Chapter 3

The Dark Knight jumped from rooftop to rooftop in search of a safe place to put his precious cargo. He didn't know why he cared about the little girl in his arms, but something inside of him told him that he had to protect her with his life. Especially when he looked into her eyes. Spotting a mansion located near a hill, he took one look at the girl in his arms and then headed for the mansion.

As he made it to the top of the building, he layed the girl down on the roof of the building. Using his cape to keep the rain off of her he looked into the night as if he were searching for something.

A sly smile crept up his face as a thought hit him. "Putties!" He screamed as 5 Z putties materialized out of thin air.

"Watch over her. Protect her with your pathetic lives." he instructed as he knelt down before her and caressed her face. "I'll be back my sweet." he promised as he stood up. With a snap of his finger a tent appeared over her to keep the rain off.

As he walked about the rooftop he spotted a skylight. Walking over to it he crouched down and looked inside.

Bruce wayne sat in his meeting room with other crime bosses. Even though he was one of the most feared crime bosses in the world, even more so the Wilson fisk, he couldn't stop one thing. Old age. knowing that he wasn't going to live forever he decided to hold this meeting at his mansion so he could choose a successor.

Seeing one of his most prized pupils come into the room, he decided to start the meeting. Dick Grayson was everything he was when he was young. Brave, intelligent, and a natural born leader.

Before he could make his announcement that Dick would be his successor, in his multi-billion dollar drug cartel, the skylight exploded. Glass and wood showered down on the occupents of the room as a dark figure emerged and squatted down on the table.

Before his guards could do anything more than raise there guns, the figure was a blur of action. With a flick of his wrist, the dark knight flung bat shaped objects at the two guards. The weapons penetrated the necks of the guards that sent blood gushing out and the guards to fall to the ground dead.

Taking out his sword, the dark knight ran the length of the table decapitating and stabbing the crime bosses. Cries of pain and agony filled the large conference room as the dark figure did his business. Even Dick tried to take on the knight to no avail. No sooner had he walked up to the Knight he was impaled with his sword.

Once he was done, he looked to see Bruce Wayne sitting at the head of the table with a huge grin on his face. Walking on the table he greeted the old man with a grin of his own.

"Is there a problem Mr. Wayne?" The dark knight asked only mere inches from Bruce.

"None at all." Bruce replyed cooly as his hand went under the table. But his actions didn't go unnoticed.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you Mr. Wayne." The dark Knight said dryly. But Bruce didn't listen. As he reached under the table to get his gun, he looked up and the dark figure was gone.

As he stood up to see were the Dark figure fled to, he failed to realize someone was behind him. As if Darkness itself were rising the Dark Knight raised his sword. Before Bruce knew what was happening his head sailed through the air and with a sickining plump it hit the wall.

Sheathing his sword, the Dark Knight walked up to the head and picked it up.

"Now I think we need to have a little chat Mr. Wayne." he said as his sadistic laughter filled the room.

Several hours later

"Hey I think she's coming too." a far away sounding voice said. As the girl opened her eyes she was greeted with the sight of a handsome young man. He was probably around twenty or so, very muscular and wore black jeans and a black t-shirt. Rubbing her eyes a little she sat up in the bed to get a look at him and where she was better.

"Where am I?" She asked as she tried to rise out of bed. Only to be pushed down gently by the handsome stranger.

"Hey calm down!" he said gently. "You are at Wayne Manor, My name is Donovan Wayne, What's yours?" he asked as she layed back down sleepily.

"My name is Tanya...Tanya Sloan." she replied.

"Tanya, that's a pretty name!" he replied as he put his hand on his forehead.

"Well Tanya do you remember anything from last night?" he asked as she started trembling. Then it all hit her in a flash. There was a fire, her parents screams, and then a dark figure. As she remembered all these things she started to cry.

"Hey it's going to be alright." Donovan whispered in her ear as he instinctively started to hug her. After a few minutes her tears started to subside and she snuggled further into his embrace. Then he told her how a dark figure brought her to his house and told him to look out for her.

"Hey Al, go to the kitchen and bring her some water and maybe some food." Donovan said to a beefy black guy who Tanya hadn't noticed until now. He merely grunted and walked out of the room. After a few minutes Tanya spoke again.

"Are my parents still alive?" she asked in a child like voice. Donovan only lowered his head and spoke to her softly.

"I'm sorry Tanya, but I watched the news and they said that there were no survivors." once he said these words he expected her to cry again. But to his surprise she didn't. As he looked up at her, he saw only pain and anger in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he looked into her eyes.

"What caused the fire?" she asked her voice now void of emotion.

"What!"

"I said what caused the fire?" she asked again as she turned her angry eyes on him.

"The news reports said that the power rangers were in the area fighting something and...."

"THE POWER RANGERS!" Tanya exploded. "You mean to tell me the power rangers are responsible for my parents death?"

"That's the way it seems." Donovan replied evenly.

"Then they must be destroyed." she said as she rose out of the bed and started to walk to the door. Only for Don to grab her and hold her back.

"Tanya no! They'll destroy you!" he said as he pulled her into a hug.

"I'm already destroyed! I don't have anyone else to go to." she said as she broke down in his arms and started to cry.

"That's not true Tanya. I'll look after you now. And I'll never let anything happen to you." he vowed as he scooped the slight girl up in his arms and put her back in the bed.

At that moment, the guy known as Al came into the room with a tray of food. He put the food down in front of Tanya and walked over to Don. After whispering something in Don's ear, Don walked to the door.

"Tanya, This is a good friend of mine. His name is Alfred Golden, but I just call him Al. He will look after you while I'm gone."

"Where are you going?" she asked as she took a sip of water to calm herself.

"I have to take care of some business." he said as he walked out of the room.

An hour after Kimberly's party at the park.

"Don't look so bummed Kim." Tommy said as he held her in his arms. After the events of last year, the two had gotten real close.

"I know, I know." Kim said as she shook her head. "It's just that, that bat guy totally kicked our butts."

"Hey, as soon as Zordon tells us this guys weakness, he's as good as toast." Tommy said as Kim sunk further into his embrace. But there little moment together was interrupted by Billy.

"Speaking of which, why don't we go to the power chamber to see what Zordon has found out?" Billy said as he readjusted his glasses. Kim slowly nodded her agreement as the five stood up a teleported to the Power Chamber.

After a few minutes of talking, Zordon told them that the mysterious figure had some kind of connection to the morphing grid. After debating that point for a few minutes the Power chamber alarms went off.

Looking into the viewing globe they saw the Dark Knight running in the park shooting and killing a few civilians. Transforming they then teleported to the park.

"Hold it right there!" Kimberly yelled getting the knights attention.

"Ahhh, Power Rangers, Forgive me for being so rude earlier. I never told you my name." The knight said sounding cocky. "I guess if I'm going to be the one killing you, you should at least know my name. It's the Dark Knight."

"The Dark Knight huh..." Zack scoffed. "You're nothing more then a poser."

"Is that so?" the dark knight asked with a grin. "Then let me introduce you to some people who think otherwise. Putties!" He yelled as he snapped his fingers and over a hundred z putties appeared.

At this moment something came across Tommy's mind, as the putties surrounded them. It's the same thought that goes through every leaders mind in times like this.

"Shit!"

Chapter 4

"So where did Donovan go?" Tanya asked as she bit into her sandwich. Al huffed before he responded.

"He has a business meeting." he replied in a low scary voice.

"And what business is that?" she asked as she took a sip of water. To her surprise he smiled. Just to look at him you would guess he hadn't done so in years.

"He's a Scientist and humanitarian." Al replied after a moment. "So you want to fight the Power Rangers huh?" he asked trying to change the subject. To his surprise her attitude turned from warm and friendly to cold in just a matter of seconds.

"More like I want to destroy them." she said as she glared at Al.

"Kid can you even fight?" Al asked with a short laugh. That was short, once he saw the girl stand up and do a spin kick.

"Actually yeah. Well a little. My dad taught me when I was little." she said as she started to feel woozy. With almost supernatural speed Al picked the girl up before she feel to the ground.

"I tell you what kid." he said as he put the girl back on the bed. "When you get better I'll train you myself."

"You promise?" she asked as she looked up at him.

"I promise." he vowed as the girl closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

"In terms of a plan?" Billy asked Tommy as they backed away from the approaching swarms of putties.

"We fight." Tommy stated confidently as Billy looked at him under his helmet with a ' no shit' look to his face.

"I think he means a little more specifically, Tommy." Zack said.

"Super Zeo Armor!" Tommy shouted as he was engulfed in a red light. Once the golden Armor (similar to that of the gold rangers) was on him, he ran towards the z putties and started fighting.

The other rangers looked at each other and then shrugged. "Super Zeo Armor!" they all shouted (except for kim, who would get a power boost from Zordon if she needed.) and they ran into the crowds of putties and engaged in fighting.

The Dark Knight looked at the rangers with utter disgust. Looking up to a high building he quickly jumped to the top of it to get a better view of the fight.

As soon as Tommy broke from the group, he made a mad dash towards the nearest putties and unsheathed his sword. In one fluid motion, he swung his Zeo Saber across the chest of three of his opponents sending them to the ground.

Before he could see the damage he dealt, a putty backhanded him in the face. Using the momentum from the punch he spun around and delivered a high kick to the z of the putties chest, instantly breaking him apart. Looking up he saw five putties coming his way, with what looked to be axes.

Before they got into striking distance, the other rangers jumped over Tommy and started fighting the putties.

"Is this a private party or can anybody show up?" Zack quipped as he punched his opponent in the z. Looking back at the others he saw that everybody was holding there own, except for Billy. Kicking another putty away fom him he ran over to his childhood friend to help out.

Everything was going just fine for the blue ranger, that was until five putties blind sided him. As four of the putties held him down, one made it over to him with an axe to deal a death blow to him. Closing his eyes he thought back over his life, while he was awaiting death. A death that never came.

Opening his eyes he saw zack standing over him.

"Hey Billy are you going to be down there all day or are you going to help out?" Zack asked grinning under his helmet.

Finding new found strength Billy threw all of the Putties that were holding him and leaped back into the fray.

The fight was going on for well over 15 minutes. For each Putty the rangers destroyed another one took it's place. With fatigue starting to come down on them, the rangers decided to regroup.

"Alright guy's the fight isn't going the way I planned." Tommy said sounding slightly winded.

"Ya think!" Trini said as she slapped him across the helmet.

"Listen guys we can still win this." Billy said as he shot off another round to keep the putties back.

"Billy we haven't tested this yet!" Trini said, her voice full of concern. "What if something goes wrong?"

"It want, trust me." He said as he turned to the other rangers.

"What are you guys talking about?" Kimberly asked as she started shooting into the crowd.

"Me and Billy made a weapon a few months ago. But with all of what's been going on we haven't tested it yet." Trini stated.

"Listen guy's we don't have alot of time to talk so let's just bust out the weapon and cream these guys!" Zack shouted sounding irratated.

"Alright guys just hold your hands in the air, this is a massive weapon." Billy explained. Once they did as instructed he raised his hands up as well and shouted.

"Super Zeo Cannon!" once he did so a huge cannon appeared in there hands.

"Man this thing is awesome...and heavy." Zack said as his arms started to shake.

"Trini prepare to fire on my command!" Billy said as he and the others aimed the cannon at the largest crowd of putties.

"Fire!" Billy shouted. The Cannon bucked back after a large red energy ball came out of it. The red ball exploded right in front of a huge mass of putties. After the smoke cleared nothing was left of there enemies.

"Billy that was awesome!" Tommy said as they laid down the cannon.

"Yeah way to go Billy." Zack said as he slapped him on the shoulder lightly.

"So you think the battle is over?" the Dark Knight said to himself from his position on the roof.

"I don't think so." he said as he stood up and ran. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop he took his power morpher off his belt.

"Dino Robo Engage!" he said as he held it to his mouth. After a moment a giant red and black robot like dinosaur arose from the ground. Jumping onto a higher building he jumped on top of the robot and went into the cockpit.

Using a joystick he moved the zord to face the rangers.

"Goodbye Rangers!" he said as he pushed a button that sent over half a dozen missles from the zords back to the rangers.

As the rangers stood and congratulated Billy on his invention, a large shadow cascaded over them. Turning they saw a huge dinosaur like robot barrelling down on them.

"What the fu...." Zack tried to say as the missles hit where they were standing. Once the smoke cleared all that was left was a huge crater sized hole.

Chapter 5

The Dark Knight leaped from his zord to survey the crater he had made. A feral grin spread across his face, that quickly vanished once he noticed that there wasn't any bodies.

"Damnit!" he swore as he reached down and gathered dirt in his hands. "Somehow you managed to escape destruction rangers..." he said as his eyes started to glow red. "but the next time, I will kill you all!" he vowed as he turned around and vanished.

"Oh my God!" Trini screamed. Then she looked around and saw that she was in the power chamber.

"Man that was a close call, but how did we get here?" Zack asked as he removed his helmet.

"I was closely monitering your fight and I saw you in danger, so I beamed you all here." Zordon said as he surveyed his power rangers.

"Yeah but we would have been dead long before that if it wasn't for Billy." Tommy said as he looked behind him.

"Billy.... Oh my God Billy!" Tommy shouted as he and the others ran to the unconcious teen on the floor.

"What the hell happened to him?" Trini asked as she started to cry over the still body of her secret crush.

"When the Dark Knight shot the missles from his zord, it must have interfered with the teleportation system. Which resulted in Billy recieving part of the blast." Zordon explained.

"Is he going to be alright?" Kim asked.

"I don't know Kimberly. Unfortunately I don't have the tools here to help him. But what I can do is teleport him close to a hospital. Kimberly and Trini I want you two to take it from there and make sure he gets help. Zack and Tommy I want you two to stay here, we have some things to talk about." Zordon said as he teleported the two girls and Billy away.

"So what do you want to talk about Zordon?" tommy asked stepping forward.

"Firstly, behold the viewing globe." Zordon said as the teens turned around. And what they saw amazed them. There were five giant robots on the screen.

"What are we looking at Zordon?" Zack asked turning around.

"Those are your super zeo zords." Zordon started. "Since the Dark Knight has raised the stakes, we must do the same. I'll explain how to use them later." Zordon finished

"Awesome!" Tommy said. "Now what else do you want to talk about?"

"I wanted to talk about your leadership skills, Tommy." Zordon said with a heavy heart. "I've been monitoring the last two fights, youv'e had with the Dark Knight...." Zordon stopped as if thinking what to say. "and it seems when it comes to him you lose your temper." Zordon explained.

"But there's just something about that guy Zordon. He just pushes my buttons." Tommy replied sharply.

"Which is why you aren't a good leader for the team right now. Which brings me to why I asked you to stay Zack."

"Oh no Zordon..." Zack said as he threw his hands up . "I don't think I can lead this team."

"On the contrary Zack. As I explained I was monitoring the fight. And you kept your cool in times of danger and once you saw a friend in need you helped him. Now those qualities alone are the makings of a great leader. So from this moment on until I say otherwise Zack will be the leader of the power rangers and Tommy you will be the second in command." Zordon said.

Lowering his head, Tommy accepted this as did Zack. Then Zordon teleported them out so they could meet Billy.

Angel Grove Memorial Hospital

"Doctor is Billy going to be ok?" Trini asked as she put her hand on Billy's forehead. The Doctor looked down at his notes and started to shake his head.

"According to my notes, he should make a full recovery, but he might be in this coma for quite some time." he said as a nurse came up behind him and whispered something into his ear.

"If you two would excuse me I have another patient." The doctor said as he left the room, just as Tommy and Zack entered.

"How's Billy." Tommy asked as he hugged both Trini and Kim.

"Still no change." Kim said as she started to hug herself.

"Listen guys we have to go back to the Power Chamber." Zack said as he eyed Billy's still body for a moment. "Zordon has to explain a few things to us."

Before they teleported out Trini removed a gold medallion from her neck and put it around Billy's.

"I know you can hear me Billy." she started as she held Billy's hand. "This coin has been in my family for over a thousand years, and it has brought me good luck. So... So I want you to have it." she said as she started to weep. "You saved us all." she whispered as she kissed him on the forehead. With that she let go of his hand and teleported out with the others.

"So how is our little visitor doing?" Donovan asked as he came into Tanya's room. "I see Al has been keeping you entertained." he said as he watched Al doing some karate moves.

"Yeah." Tanya said as she looked over at Donovan and smiled. "Al said he was going to teach me some moves, so I could beat the Power Rangers."

"Is that so?" Donovan asked as he looked over at Al. "Honey are you sure about this?" he asked as he sat down beside her on the bed.

"Yeah." Tanya replied.

"Then come with me." he said as he stood to his feet and extended his hand to her. As she walked with him, he led he to an elevator. As they exited it she found herself to be in a large bat cave like facility under the house.

Control consoles and high tech computers, lined the walls. But what was most impressive was in the center of the room, sitting on a table were three gems highlighted by an overhead spotlight. They were red, blue, and yellow.

"What is this place?" Tanya asked as she turned to look at Donovan.

"This is my control center." Donovan replied as he walked pass her and sat down at a table. "You see Tanya...I'm. You know what it'll probably be better if I just show you." he said as he stood to his feet. Getting into a stance he held his arm up and a bracelet with a gem in the middle appeared on his wrist.

"Dark Knight Power!" he yelled. A black light surrounded him and he was once again transformed into the Dark Knight.

"You?" Tanya said as she looked at him in amazement. "I...I can't believe this."

"Believe it Tanya." he told her. "I want you to be just like me. That's why when I'm sure that you're ready to fight, I'm going to give you a dino gem."

"What's that?" she asked. He merely pointed at the gems that were being highlighted on the table.

"Now Mr. Golden will teach you what you need to know in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Once inside the chamber, a minute in the outside world will be an hour to you. That way you'll have plenty of time to learn what you need too, and help me defeat the Power Rangers."

"Where is Al?" Tanya asked as she turned around and screamed. Standing behind her was a large monkey like monster with golden armor on.

"That's Al's true form, Tanya." The Dark Knight informed her. "There's no need to be scared, Goldar want hurt you."

"O...okay." Tanya said calming down a bit. Man this day just get's wierder and wierder, she thought to herself.

"Now rest up Tanya." Goldar said as he walked up to her. "Your training starts tomorrow." Tanya just looked at the now monkey form of her friend and nodded her head.

The Knight just looked at Tanya and smiled. Soon the Power Rangers, will meet thier match.

One week later

The Ranger's all sat in Billy's hospital room, visiting him. He still had'nt came out of his coma and everybody was worried about him. As Trini sat next to him on his bed ready to read him another book, her communicator sudenly goes off.

"This is Trini." she said into her communicator.

"There is trouble at the park. The Dark Knight is back."

"We're on it Zordon." Zack replied as they teleported out. If they had stayed a moment longer, they would have seen Billy's finger twitch.

As they teleported to the park, already in costume, they saw the Dark Knight shooting at several civilians.

"Ah ranger's so you've finally decided to join me?" The Knight asked as he turned around and saw them. "Sabre mode." he said as he adjusted his shotgun into a sword. As he sheathes it, he let's out a battle cry and charges them.

The Dark Knight charges into battle, kicking at the Red Ranger, who
rolls clear. He ducks away from the Gold Ranger's attack, blocks a
kick from the Yellow Ranger, and takes down the latter with a kick
of his own.

The Knight turns and blocks an attack from the Green Ranger,
knocks him down with a single hard strike, and whirls around just
in time to duck a jump-kick from the Gold Ranger.

Leaping off the ground, the Knight locks his legs around the
Yellow Ranger's neck. He twists them, wrenching her head to one side,
and simultaneously grapples with the Red Ranger. The Yellow Ranger
disentangles herself, and the Knight's feet hit the ground. Now
standing securely, he easily throws off the Red Ranger.

The Green Ranger leaps at the Knight, Blade Blaster drawn. He
deflects the attack and kicks at him.

The Knight is now facing the Red Ranger, both wielding Blade Blasters(the latter's stolen from the Green Ranger). He chops at the Red Ranger, who parries with his own weapon, and then slashes the Yellow Ranger, knocking her to the ground.

The Knight turns and parries with the Red Ranger again, then
launches a kick, which is ducked by the latter. His next attack is
more successful: a fierce chop which sends the Red Ranger rolling
back towards a tree, groaning in pain.

The Red Ranger comes to a halt near the downed Yellow Ranger. The
Green and Gold Rangers hurry to their sides.

"You're not going to get away with this." the Gold Ranger shouts out.

The Knight hurls his appropriated Blade Blaster at the Gold Ranger's chest. There is an explosion of sparks, and the Gold Ranger reels back, her suit partially scorched. They charge at each other, and battle re-commences.

Both opponents launch simultaneous high-kicks, and both miss. The Gold
Ranger spin-kicks at the Knight, who ducks; the Knight spin-kicks at the Gold Ranger, who similarly dodges. As if fighting in a mirror, the well-matched pair block a third kick from each other.

For some reason this all seems very familiar to Kimberly.

The Knight grabs his opponent's hands and starts to force them
down. All of a sudden, he knocks them into the air, leaving the Gold
Ranger's torso unprotected. Two blows stun the Ranger, and a third sends her rolling back towards the others. She staggers to her feet.

The Knight summons up a black ball of energy and hurls it at
the others. It rips into them, producing a considerable explosion,
and knocks them off their feet.

"Goodbye Ranger's." The Dark Knight says as he takes his shotgun out and cocks it.

"Dragon Fang!" A voice suddenly shouts out. Before the Knight has the time to look up, a ball of green energy hit's him, in the chest. With the force of which, sends him sprawling to the ground.


As the teens look up they all see a figure stepping out of the smoke and mist that the Knight created when he blasted at them. The figure's uniform is all green and has a golden neck shield which protects his upper torso.

A diamond shape makes up the base of this shield. The costume has gold bands upon its sleeves, and the person has a green helmet on. The visor of the helmet is rimmed with sharp teeth. A thin crest runs across the top, and two "eyes" can be seen upon the temples.

"Green Dragon Ranger." the new ranger said as he snapped into a fighting stance.
