Prologue: Power and Responsibility
Drip. Drop. Norman Osbourne's head was there in a background of darkness, as trickles of blood, came from the sides of his mouth. He couldn't take it anymore...he just couldn't.
"Don't tell Harry..."
"Don't tell Harry..."
"DON'T TELL HARRY!"
These words echoed in Peter Parker's head. This was the reoccuring nightmare he had for nearly 2 years now. He had caused the death of his best friend's father. He looked around, suddenly in his Spider-Man clothing. The Goblin Glider flew towards him. A alertness went in his head. He instinctively back flipped. The Goblin Glider went for his chest. He couldn't stop it. It was almost there.
"NO!!!" screamed Peter Parker in a cold sweat. He had fought many enemies over these past few years. His best friend Max Dillon, known now as Electro. Kraven the South American Hunter. His mentor, Dr. Curt Connors, who transformed into The Lizard. His hardest opponent now? His conscience.
Beads of sweat dripped down his face. Morning came, and as Peter Parker now knew with morning came trouble. Weirdly enough he had gotten use to sleeping in his Spider-Man suit under his clothes. He had known exactly what to do. He opened the window, and looked all over Manhatten. Where he lived was almost 15 stories high, the building being owned by OsCorp. He gazed over Manhatten. Being Spider-Man was both a Gift and a Curse. He never could have a love one, but in turn he was relived of stress when he jumped from building to building wisecracking any villain he met along the way.
Peter held his breathe for a second, and let his legs dangle out of the 15 story building. He opened the window higher, and presses his shoes off of the side of the building and flew falling straight down to the ground. Peter Parker's tiny view dissapeared from behind the Empire State Building. Instead a red and blue spandexed figure could be seen flying over it's tip.
"Hey look it's Spider-Man!"
He had gotten use to this by now. He webbed 2 buildings that were about 50 feet apart and dangled in midair. To viewers on the ground it looked as if he was floating. He looked at Manhatten's giant news screen. EmpireOne News was on. He gazed at the screen as the Anchorwomen reported that hostages were being held at a old warehouse. Civilians were warned to stay away from there. He now lived by the words his Uncle Ben told him. He now planned to follow it once again.
"With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility."

I hoped you like it, this is just the Prologue so I kept it short. I'll post the next chapter soon.
