Power Rangers Magna Energon Ch. 1

In the town of Toronto, a young adolescent boy lay staring into space in his bed, only the thoughts of his parents dying in his head. Dont hurt my son, please"!, he remembered her yell. He was still trying to figure out who or what killed them. Then all of a sudden his window broke and a strange figure jumped in. "Who are you? Leave me alone!!" "Young Mandon, don't fear me". He could now see the man was probably in his early 70's. "I have come to tell you of your destiny". "I don't have a destiny. I'm just a kid". "You are not a child anymore!! That happened over a decade ago, and you stay here in this warehouse that you call home and just waste your life thinking about a tragedy that happened 13 years ago. Who do you think saved you from that creature? It was me, your grandfather". "You're my grandfather?" "Yes, I'm your grandfather. Now take this morpher. Don't ask any questions, please. You are not the only one. Three others have gotten these morphers. You all now have the power to stop these evil creatures that now roam the Earth. Their leader is a warrior called Magnatron. Only you four can stop him. In order to morph, you must use the morpher and say "Magna Power Energize". After you do that, you all will become the power rangers Magna Energon. Good-bye Mandon, until another time, red ranger"

This story has potential, but it seemed kind of rushed. A little unrealistic too. A man in his early 70's jumping through a window?

Mandon did a lot of thinkng after his grandpa left. Could it be true? Was he an actual power ranger? "I've gotta take a walk". So he walked on the streets of the crime-filled town. But all of a sudden he heard the screaming of a woman. And the whole town seemed to be exploding. Balls of fire were emerging out of every direction. "What the hell is going on here?" He ran in the direction of where he heard the scream. When he got there he saw 3 other adolescents fighting off what looked like mutant freaks. This must be what his grandfather meant. There's only one thing I can do. If this really is my destiny, then I've got to help. So he ran up against one of the mutants and started to fight. It's a good thing he had taken those martial arts classes. It seemed that all the monsters were gone so he turned to the other kids. "So I guess you guys are the other 3 power rangers". "Yep", they all replied. There was 1 girl and 2 guys. There names were Ricky, John, and Michelle. "So are those freaks dead now?", I asked. "Doubt it", Ricky said.
And he was right. Because right after he said that, almost twice the number of monsters appeared again. "Hello, I am Magnatron". "The old guy was right", we all said. "Well let's see if he was right about these morphers. Ready?" "Ready". "Magna power energize!"
