After reading the Ultimate Power Rangers thread in the Archived Thread Forum, I decided to try creating my own version if MMPR. Unfortunately, they don't allow new posts there, so I thought this was the best forum to post it in. I hope you enjoy it...
And please lemme know what you think. You wouldn't believe how long this took me to write.
CHARACTERS, ETC.:
Ultimate Rita Revolta - Rita no longer wears the the same brown gown she did in the series, the only remaining attire from the show being her hair cones and the collar. Her outfit is now mostly red and black, and the top of her Magic Wand now looks more like a golden cresent moon (with the same red orb in the middle). Having been trapped in a Zirithium cylinder for 10,000 years by her foe Zordon of Eltar, Rita vows to wipe him out and conquer his planet Earth. The oldest of the Vile triplets, Rita often finds herself breaking up arguements between her brother and sister.
Ultimate Goldar - A completely serious, no-nonsense general. Disagreeing with Rita's view on humanity (she wants to enslave mankind, Goldar wants to wipe it out), Goldar often finds himself at odds with his empress. Upon losing his wings in his first fight against the Power Rangers (losing their wings is a great disgrace to his race), his hatred for the Power Rangers, and specifically Jason the Red Ranger, quickly became personal. While not particularly cowardly, Goldar will ally himself with anyone if he thinks it will benefit himself in any way.
Ultimate Scorpina - Rita's little sister (and the youngest of the triplets), Scorpina's real name is Rena Revolta. Millennia ago she was stung by a werescorpion, causing her to mutate into a humanoid-scorpion creature with every full moon. Thanks to Rita, Rena is able to keep her mutation under control (though she does have a tail, even in human form), but upon growing, she loses control completely and mutates into full werescorpion form. She has a bit of a crush on Goldar, and is disappointed because he doesn't feel the same way. Her outfit is pretty much the same as the show, just a bit more revealing.
Ultimate Scorpina (Giant) - Unlike the show, Scorpina's giant form isn't 100% monster. She looks pretty much like her human form, except her skin changes to red, her tail gets larger, and her left hand transforms into a scorpion claw. Whenever Scorpina grows and mutates, she always rests for long periods afterwards, as the experience is quite exhausting.
Ultimate Finster - Much more wolf-like than before, Finster is still a quiet being who would rather mind his own business. Speaking with a British accent, Finster is extremely loyal to Rita, and she trusts him more than any of her servants (except for Scorpina). Finster is also the smartest of the crew, and creates warriors and weapons for Rita to use in her invasions. And while he may not prefer to fight, Finster is more than capable of handling himself should the need arise.
Ultimate Squatt - Short and dumb, but incredibly strong. Squatt occasionally performs feats of strength that impress even Rita and Goldar. The Igor to Finster's Dr. Frankenstein, Squatt tries to help Finster create monsters, but more often than not just gets in the way. He tries to impress Rita and help her in any way he can, but again, just ends up screwing it up. Squatt often gets smacked on the head for his failures, and usually just hides when Rita gets angry.
Ultimate Lord Zedd - Tall, muscular, and clad in metallic black armor (his Staff is also black), Lord Zedd is truly terrifying. With life-support systems of sorts hooked up throughout his body, Lord Zedd is a true cyborg, with tubes running through his body, and various devices hooked into his skull and spine. Rita's master, he arrives on Earth when he hears of Rita's failure in destroying the Power Rangers. His voice is much more deep and booming (along the lines of his voice in the first movie), and his exposed brain is constantly pulsating. While his main battle method is to send generals or monsters to do his fighting, Zedd has no problems with fighting his foes personally, and there isn't one person who doesn't dread that thought.
Ultimate Rito Revolto - The middle Vile triplet, Rito Revolto arrived to help his sisters and Lord Zedd against Zordon's Rangers. He doesn't look like a skeleton anymore, and looks more like a zombie with rotting flesh. While he appears to be mostly human, there are areas on his body where the flesh has rotted away, revealing muscles and bare bones underneath. He is still a slacker/jokester, but he is no longer stupid. Unimpressed with Lord Zedd, Rito often makes fun of him, and the two soon become rivals, trying to outdo each other every chance they get (much to Rita's chagrin). Rito wears a camoflouged helmet (with a skull on the back), torn camoflouged pants, and the tattered remains of a camoflouged shirt. He uses the same bone sword, forged from the bones of his fallen foes.
Ultimate Zordon - Zordon is known throughout the universe as the thorn in Evil's side. Having battled countless forces of evil, including Rita Revolta and Lord Zedd, Zordon followed Rita to Earth where their final battle took place. While Zordon trapped Rita and her minions in a Zirithium cylinder, Rita destroyed his body. His spirit retained in his mystic base, the Command Center, Zordon watched over Earth until Rita was freed, at which time he made his move and founded the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Unable to leave his Altar, Zordon does what he can to lead his Rangers to victory against the forces of evil.
Ultimate Alpha 5 - One of Zordon's oldest friends, Alpha 5 was the one responsible for capturing Zordon's spirit into his Altar in the Command Center, Alpha 5 has the same overall design as in the show, except a bit more humanoid and stream-lined. While not the best fighter in the universe by any means, Alpha is a fairly adept fighter and can even hold his own against the likes of Goldar for a little while. His main function, however, is to maintain Zordon's connection to our realm, and aid the Power Rangers whenever they need it.
Ultimate Ninjor - An armored warrior skilled in the art of the ninja, Ninjor is an old ally of Zordon's, not having spoke to the sage since the war against Rita Revolta. Feeling guilty about Zordon's bodylessness (he had tried, and failed, to stop Rita from destroying his body), Ninjor was contacted by him when Rito Revolto destroyed the Rangers' Dinosaur Powers. Ninjor not only restored, but enhanced, the Rangers' Powers, but also accompanied them to Earth, allying himself with Zordon once again in the fight against Lord Zedd and Rita Revolta. Capable of making himself grow to Zord size, Ninjor can also transform into a more powerful, but slower, Samurai Mode. Both modes of Ninjor have the same overall design, but are more streamlined, and not as clunky-looking.
Ultimate Putty Patrollers - The Putty Patrollers, created by Finster, are Rita Revolta's shock troops for invading Earth. Gray humanoids with red eyes and flat, emotionless faces, the Putty Patrollers are stronger than your average human, but are no match for fully morphed Power Rangers. They have no real weak spot, and must simply be pummelled to be defeated.
Ultimate Zedd Putties - Created by Lord Zedd out of pure darkness, the Zedd Putties are much more powerful than Finster's Putties. Besides being much, much stronger, the Zedd Putties also have the ability to transform their own hands into weapons, such as swords, axes, and maces. They are much more of a challenge for the Power Rangers, but if struck in the "Z" symbol on their chest, they will self-destruct.
Ultimate Tengu Warriors - Known across the universe for their great strength and ferocity, a large flock of Tengu Warriors were brought to the moon by Rito Revolto as a gift to his sister Rita and Lord Zedd. Superior in strength to even the Zedd Putties, the Tengu Warriors had something both Putty types lacked: Intellegence. The avian creatures also had the ability of flight, capable of attaining speeds of up to Mach 1.
*is exhausted, takes deep breath*
Ultimate Master Vile - The father of Rita, Rito, and Scorpina, Master Vile is one of the few beings in the universe that eclipses even Lord Zedd in fear and power. Vile looks a bit more reptillian in design. He is no longer clad in massive robes that cover his whole body. He is now encased in a black and gold suit of armor, covered in reptillian symbols. He still has the snakes on his shoulders, and his head(s) is more or less the same. A black and gold cape flows down his back. Upon hearing that his children had united, he decided to join them, having not seen them together in millennia. He does not take over the Palace as he did in the series, but instead becomes an ally of Lord Zedd and Rita, helping them against the Power Rangers.
Ultimate Globbor - The Goldar to Master Vile's Lord Zedd, Globbor is a powerful monster. Dripping with slime, this blue-skinned creature is well-known throughout the cosmos for his power of sucking the lifeforce out of his foes. Made partly out of slime, he is also somewhat capable of shapeshifting (mostly along the lines of the T-1000). Upon sapping an enemy of its power, Globbor changes his form to mimic his victim.
Ultimate Dino Zords - Gigantic battle machines in the form of the dinosaurs, including the Dragonzord and Titanus. Pretty much how they appeared on the series.
Ultimate Thunder Zords - Here, the Thunder Zords take the form of the unused Zyu2 Zords. The White Tigerzord is also in unused Zyu2 form, and is capable of combining with the Thunder Zords to form the Thunder MegaTigerzord. Tor is a mythical turtle encased in armor. Tor is awakened by Lord Zedd but, being sentient, decides to join the Power Rangers, allowing them to form the Thunder Ultrazord.
Ultimate Ninja Zords - Pretty much the same, except without Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, the animals, and thus the Ninja MegaFalconzord's formation, change(s):
Zack - Rhino Ninjazord = Lower Torso, Legs
Kimberly - Crane Ninjazord = Head
Billy - Wolf Ninjazord = Left Arm
Trini - Panther Ninjazord = Right Arm
Jason - Lion Ninjazord = Upper Torso
Tommy - Falcon Ninjazord = Wings
Ultimate Ancient Zords - Ancient, humanoid Zords found on the planet Zordnia, the Ancient Zords consist of five units - Black Rhino, Pink Crane, Blue Wolf, Yellow Panther, and Red Lion. When merged together, they form a Zord the Rangers have dubbed the Ancient Megazord. After a few minor adjustments by Alpha 5, the Ancient Megazord is capable of combining with the Falconzord, forming the Ancient MegaFalconzord. With the five Rangers controlling two Zords, Alpha and Zordon bring Titanus back to active duty, having him act as Tommy's second Zord.
Ultimate Jason - At first a pig-headed jock, Jason was reluctant to become a Power Ranger. And even though he never really loses his pig-headedness, he eventually softens up after working with the other Rangers for so long. The only other Rangers he knew previous to becoming one were Zack and Kimberly.
Ultimate Billy - A nerd, in every sense of the word. He doesn't wear overalls, though. A technical genius, Billy is a computer whiz but very often gets picked on, occasionally by Jason (pre-Rangers) and very frequently by Bulk and Skull. Knowing nothing about fighting, Billy was nearly useless to the team at first (to the point where they even considered replacing him), but eventually became a very adept fighter.
Ultimate Trini - A very quiet and peaceful young woman, Trini had been friends with Billy since they were children. The only person who would ever defend Billy (again, pre-Rangers), Trini is very loyal to the Blue Ranger and will always be there for him. She is very dedicated to her martial arts, in particular, mantis style kung fu.
Ultimate Zack - Jason's best friend, even before they became Power Rangers. At first acting more as the token black guy than anything else, Zack soon evolves into a very capable leader, taking charge of the Ranger team when Jason is absent (and even when he isn't, occasionally). Impatient and a little hot-headed, Zack often gets himself into trouble, both as a Power Ranger and in normal life.
Ultimate Kimberly - While not completely heartless, Kimberly could be described as the queen bitch of Angel Grove High. Concerned more about the latest gossip or best fashion, Kimberly couldn't have cared less about the fate of her planet. But after repelling Rita's initial invasion, she realized the gravity of the situation, and has since become a dedicated Ranger. Having briefly dated Jason in the past, she has tried to avoid him since, making the fact that he is her leader incredibly annoying for her.
Ultimate Tommy - The ultimate badass. Tommy has been a loner ever since he could remember, and moved to Angel Grove shortly after the war between Rita and the Power Rangers began. After doing some major damage to them as her evil Green Ranger, Tommy retreated into his shell even more after being freed from her spell. Still, he helped out the Power Rangers whenever they needed him. Eventually, the Rangers broke through his barriers, and he became a full-fledged member of the team, as well as Kimberly's boyfriend. Upon receiving his White Ranger Powers, he was promoted to co-leader, along with Jason.
Ultimate Bulk and Skull - Pretty much the same as on the show, except not quite as stupid... or accident prone. They still get their come-uppance when neccessary, but it's not thanks to a cake landing miraculously in their faces.
Ultimate Katherine - An Australian penpal of Kimberly's, Katherine moved to Angel Grove shortly after the Rangers gained their Ninja Powers. Unfortunately, she was quickly placed under a spell by Rito and Scorpina, and act which ended with Katherine stealing Kimberly's Power Coin. Katherine eventually fixed everything, and became a close ally to the Power Rangers, despite her lack of powers. This changed, however, when she managed to steal a powerful Lightning Diamond from Lord Zedd. While she didn't gain a fancy outfit, she did gain great strength and knowledge of martial arts, as well as electricity-based powers. Using these powers, Katherine tries to make up for what she did by helping the Power Rangers and Ninjor in battle against Zedd and Rita's forces.
Ultimate Saba - He looks pretty much the same as he did on the show, except he's given a bit more of character here. Not just Tommy's weapon, Saba also acts as his guide in battle. At first, Saba and Tommy cannot learn to work together, which gives them a bit of trouble while in battle (especially when controlling the Tigerzord), but finally they learn to act as one, which allows them to form the Thunder MegaTigerzord. When Tommy gained his Ninja Powers, Saba retained the look of the White Tiger.
Ultimate Power Weapons - They look more or less the same as in the series, except their names are different:
Power Axe - Mammoth Axe
Power Bow - Ptera Bow
Power Daggers - Tiger Daggers
Power Lance - Triceralance
Power Sword - Saurus Saber
Power Blaster - Mega Buster
Ultimate Special Attacks - The Power Rangers each have special finishing attacks they can use in battle:
Jason - Tyranno Rage (energized sword slash)
Tommy (White) - Tiger Fury (energized sword slash)
Tommy (Green) - Dragon Buster (that energy ball from Green With Evil Part I)
Zack - Mammoth Ice (freezing spray from hands)
Kimberly - Ptera Winds (summons hurricane gusts)
Trini - Tiger Rage (quick, energized strikes)
Billy - Tricera Beams (shockwaves sent through the ground)
Ultimate Serpenterra - Not Lord Zedd's Zord anymore, Serpenterra is an extremely powerful (but normal-sized) Zord created by Master Vile, based on the technologies from the Ninja Zords and the Ancient Zords. Serpenterra is no longer green, but is instead jet black. The only other colors on the Zord are gold and red. Able to fire jagged bolts of lightning from its mouth, Serpenterra is quite possibly the most powerful Zord ever created.
Ultimate Power Rangers - The bodies of their suits are greatly redesigned, showing much more white than before, but their helmets remain the same. The Green Ranger's Dragonshield also remains the same. The White Ranger's Tigershield looks more like the movie version than the TV version. When the Rangers receive their Ninja Powers, the bodies retain the same design, but their helmets change, having gone from the faces of their dinosaurs to the faces of their totem animals.
*wipes sweat off brow*
THE SERIES:
Ultimate Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 - Rita and her minions - Goldar, Scorpina, Finster, and Squatt - are released from their 10,000 year imprisonment in a Zirithium cylinder, more commonly known as a Space Dumpster. Her powers having atrophied during those 10,000 years, all she can muster up for her initial invasion is Goldar and the Putty Patrol. Rita's age-old foe, Zordon of Eltar, has Alpha 5 teleport the five nearest humans capable of handling the Power Coins to the Command Center. Angel Grove High students - Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly - having gotten seperated from a school outing, are chosen. When informed of the invasion, Jason, Zack, and Kimberly laugh at Zordon and leave. Billy and Trini accept the Powers, however, and go to face Goldar. The disbelieving trio are teleported back to the Command Center, and watch the Blue and Yellow Rangers get pummelled by Goldar. Not wanting them to get killed, the three morph, and, summoning the Megazord, defeat Goldar.
After a while, Rita uses what power she's been able to gather to bring forth her Green Ranger. Possessing a Power Coin, he attacks the Command Center and damages Zordon and Alpha. A series of battles (which the Green Ranger wins all but one) culminates in the Megazord being seemingly destroyed by Green Ranger, Goldar, and Scorpina. With the Zords gone, Rita gives the Dragon Dagger to the Green Ranger, who uses it to summon the Dragonzord. Zordon finally returns, he resurrects the Dino Zords. The Megazord and Dragonzord clash violently, leaving both Zords badly damaged, and soon the Rangers begin fighting personally. Rita, Goldar, and Scorpina come to Earth to watch the battle. Using his Tyranno Rage attack, Jason shatters Rita's wand, freeing Green Ranger from her spell. Enraged at what she had done to him, Green Ranger attacks Rita, who is basically powerless without her wand. Goldar and Scorpina grow to protect her, and are subsequently thrashed by the Dragonzord. The three villains retreat to the moon, and Green Ranger returns to the ground. He takes off his helmet, revealing his identity to the other Rangers. It's Tommy, a guy who had just moved to Angel Grove, and who Kimberly had gotten a crush on. Jason offers for Tommy to join them, but after all the damage he had caused, he can't bring himself to do it, and walks off.
As the Power Rangers continue to fight Rita's forces, Tommy appears randomly, assisting them when they need him, but never joining their team. Whenever they approach Tommy outside of Rangering, he either tells them to leave him alone or avoids them completely. Rita, having regained a little bit of her power, uses it to summon the demonic apparition Lokar and create her own monster, the zombified Mutaytus. The duo proves to be too much for the Rangers, but they eventually prevail, destroying Mutaytus and sending Lokar back to the Underworld. It is after this battle that Tommy finally warms up to the other Rangers and becomes a full-fledged member of the team, and also begins dating Kimberly. Shortly after this, Rita is fed up with losing to her own creation, and generates the Green Candle, which begins draining Tommy of his Green Ranger Powers. As Jason and Zack battle Goldar in the Dark Dimension to retrieve the Candle, the other Rangers battle the Cyclops. Jason and Zack fail to grab the Candle and retreat. Forming the Ultrazord, they destroy the Cyclops. Zordon says that by giving transferring his Powers to another Ranger, Tommy can keep them away from Rita. He decides to give it to Kimberly, and leaves the Command Center, keeping his Power Coin as a souvenir. With Kimberly commanding the Dragonzord, the Power Rangers manage to hold back Rita's forces.
Eventually, Rita manages to capture the Power Rangers and seperate them from their Power Coins, preparing to drain the Coins of their energy. With no other choice, Zordon brings Tommy back to the Command Center and gives his Power Coin a temporary energy boost. Teleporting to the moon, Tommy frees the other Rangers and rescues their Power Coins. But upon touching Kimberly's Coin, a green power surge blasts through his body. His Coin has absorbed its Power back, completely restoring Tommy's Powers (no "Augh, my powers, help" crap). With Tommy back, the Rangers once again easily tear through Rita's forces.
But soon the time comes.
The time of recharging is over. Rita's powers come back at full strength, finally recovered from the 10,000 year imprisonment. She once again summons Lokar from the Underworld, and raises an ancient Warzord known as Cyclopsis. Lokar will use his demonic energy to power Cyclopsis. Selecting Goldar to pilot the Zord, she sends Cyclopsis and Lokar to Earth. The Rangers fight back as well as they can, but the Zords are no match for Cyclopsis. The Rangers get the chance to form the Ultrazord, but before they can fire, Lokar unleashes a hellish flame blast and sends the Zords to the Underworld. The Rangers escape, but are powerless to do anything as Cyclopsis begins to demolish the city. Eventually, Alpha 5 manages to hack into Cyclopsis' CPU, overriding Goldar's command and causing the Zord to go crazy, attacking Lokar. Thanks to Cyclopsis' surprise attack, Lokar's hold on the Zords weakens and they rise from the ground. The Rangers quickly form the Ultrazord again and fire upon the vulnerable Cyclopsis. Cyclopsis is destroyed (though Goldar escapes), and his destruction causes a backlash that greatly injures Lokar. The Rangers take this moment of weakness to fire the Ultrazord again, finally slaying Lokar. With both Lokar and Cyclopsis destroyed, a similar backlash hits Rita, nearly eradicating her powers and causing her Palace to explode. Rita and her minions survive, but Rita is basically powerless and none of them are in any condition to attack Earth ever again.
On Earth, Zordon, Alpha, and the Power Rangers celebrate the victory. At long last, Earth is finally safe.
Ultimate Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2 - With Rita defeated, most likely forever, the Rangers have come to the conclusion that they are no longer needed, and have decided to retire. The only problem they face is how to tell Zordon and Alpha. On the moon, Rita and her goons try to figure out what to do. By this point, Goldar is completely disgusted with Rita, and is even considering taking over, since she is pretty much powerless at this point. Suddenly, crimson thunderclouds begin forming overhead...
Just as the Rangers decide to head out to the Command Center to tell Zordon and Alpha their decision, they are suddenly attacked by Putties. But these are no ordinary Putties. These things are taller, more muscular, and have weapons where their hands should be. The Rangers eventually have to morph to take these things out. A bit shocked by the sudden attack, they teleport to the Command Center, but now for a different reason.
On the moon, the rubble of Rita's palace begins coming together, but is forming a completely different structure. It forms a huge, spikey, demonic looking fortress. Rita and her crew, who had remained outside during this, are teleported into the fortress' main chamber. As they look around their former home, they see that the walls seem to be made out of pulsating muscles. Suddenly, in a display of hellish flames, a massive stone throne appears. It turns to reveal a hulking, skinless, humanoid cyborg, the sight of which delights Goldar and terrifies pretty much everyone else.
At the Command Center, the Rangers describe the new Putties, and Zordon and Alpha are visibly shaken. When the Rangers ask what the matter is, Zordon explains that a threat, much deadlier than Rita could hope to be, has arrived on the moon. The threat's name is...
Lord Zedd lets his fury be known, Rita's failures in conquering Earth has been causing him great embarrassment. Goldar eagerly abandons Rita for Zedd, and his wings are returned to him as a result. Zedd strips Rita of whatever little power she has left, and seals her within another Zirithium cylinder, sentancing her to another 10,000 years. He blasts the cylinder into the depths of outer space. Zedd turns to Scorpina, Finster, and Squatt, and tells them they can either join him or join Rita. Left with no other choice, they ally themselves to Lord Zedd. Zedd, already knowing of his Putties' failure, decides to test the Rangers' worthiness with a real monster, and uses his Staff to mutate a piranha into Pirantis. Pirantis attacks Angel Grove, and the Power Rangers face him. The Rangers are pulverized by the fish monster and summon the Zords. Pirantis freezes four of the Zords and takes control of the Tyrannosaurus and Dragonzord. The Rangers retreat to the Command Center, and Zordon explains that the Dino Zords lack the strength to overcome Pirantis' magic, and must be upgraded to Thunder Zords, but first they must resume control of the Dino Zords.
After a long series of battles, the Power Rangers regain control of the Dino Zords, and moments before Lord Zedd tries to send the Zords to the molten core of the Earth, they are transformed into Thunder Zords (including the Dragonzord), which basically look like beefed up versions of the Dino Zords. Lord Zedd uses a grenade to make Pirantis grow, and the Rangers form the Thunder MegaDragonZord. They use the Thunder Orb attack, and Pirantis is vaporized.
Lord Zedd begins focusing his attacks on the Green Ranger, whom Zedd often calls "Rita's mistake." After a series of failed attempts, Zedd sends down the energy-draining monster TurbanShell. TurbanShell, along with Goldar and Scorpina, beat the daylights out of Tommy and strip him of his Power Coin. Lord Zedd appears and is given the Coin, which he crushes within his fist. Still retaining a bit of power, Tommy remains morphed, but a countdown begins. Once the countdown is over, Tommy will demorph, this time forever. His uniform disappears, and Lord Zedd - assuming his power is completely gone - makes his monsters grow. However, despite the loss of his costume, Tommy still retains the power, and summons the Dragonzord. With Tommy piloting, the Thunder MegaDragonzord destroys TurbanShell and drives off Goldar and Scorpina. Tommy bids farewell to his life as a Power Ranger, and the Dragonzord returns to the sea.
Back to five members, the Power Rangers begin struggling to overcome Zedd's forces. The ultimate blow comes when he sends down the Scarlet Sentinel, a monster that beats the daylights out of the Thunder Megazord. When they go to Zordon and Alpha for help, they find their mentors gone. When Scarlet Sentinel attacks again, the Rangers fight back, and are nearly destroyed by the monster. Suddenly, a mysterious White Ranger appears out of nowhere and saves them, driving off Scarlet Sentinel. Before the Rangers can find out who he is, he teleports away. Zordon and Alpha have returned, but when asked by the Rangers about the White Ranger, they say they know nothing. When Scarlet Sentinel attacks next, White Ranger again appears to defeat her, but she clones herself, creating twin Sentinels named AC and DC. The trio performs a hyperbeam attack, catching the White Ranger in a huge explosion and demorphing him. It's revealed to be Tommy!
The Rangers return to the Command Center, and Zordon explains he didn't tell them before because he was unsure as to wether or not Tommy's new powers would be stable enough to last. However, the results are good - Tommy's White Ranger Powers are stable, and he is now back to active duty! Scarlet Sentinel attacks again (giant sized), but the Thunder Megazord is still damaged from its previous fight with the monster. Tommy summons his new Zord, the White Tiger Thunderzord, and battles Scarlet Sentinel and her clones. The Tigerzord proves to be quite powerful, and destroys the evil trio.
With the White Ranger and Tigerzord on their side, the Rangers have a much easier time dealing with Lord Zedd's forces. Even an attack by reconstructed Cyclopsis fails, as the Warzord is destroyed by the Thunder MegaTigerzord. One day, Zedd receives a surprise visitor: Rita Revolta! It seems her Zirithium cylinder was destroyed by a passing meteor. Having returned to the Palace, Rita suggests to Zedd that, since neither of them has been able to do much damage to the Power Rangers by themselves, they join forces against them. Reluctantly, Zedd allows Rita to stay and team up with him, much to Goldar's chagrin and Scorpina's delight. With both evil overlords together, Finster gives them a spell to use against the Rangers: by firing lightning from their crossed staffs, they can not only make their warriors grow, but greatly enhance their strength.
Zedd summons the demonic sorceress Xa'lik from the Underworld, while Rita coalesces pure evil into the Green Ranger. This Green Ranger has no secret human form; his only form is the Ranger suit. The duo overwhelm the Power Rangers completely, leaving them completely beaten every time they meet. Xa'lik decides to open the gates to the Underworld in an attempt to resurect Lokar, while the Green Ranger is given the Dragon Dagger by Rita. Xa'lik's ritual is ruined by Tommy, and before the Green Ranger can summon the Dragonzord, the Dragon Dagger is destroyed by the Rangers' Mega Buster. Zedd and Rita make the two villains grow, and they are destroyed by the Thunder Ultrazord.
Zedd and Rita are unphased; they know it's only a matter of time before the Rangers fall to their combined might.
Ultimate Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3 - Rita and Scorpina's zombified brother, Rito Revolto, arrives on the moon, bringing with him a flock of Tengu Warriors, which quickly replace the Zedd Putties as Zedd and Rita's shock troops. Rito decides to hang around and help his sisters out with the Power Rangers, and comes up with a plan to ambush them. Zedd likes the idea and puts it into motion. To assist in the attack, Finster resurrects the four deadliest monsters the Rangers have ever faced - Mutaytus, Pirantis, TurbanShell, and the Scarlet Sentinel. Rito arrives on Earth, and attacks the Rangers before Zordon and Alpha can even contact them. The battle doesn't go very well for the Rangers; the five Rangers are pulverized, and when Rito and Tommy clash, a huge explosion engulfs them both, leaving Tommy demorphed and Rito smoking. Zedd and Rita make Rito grow, and after Tommy remorphs, the Thunder Zords are summoned. While at first startled by the Zords' power, Rito still proves to be a match for them alone. When the four monsters grow and join the battle, the Zords are completely overwhelmed. Being pounded by Rito and the monsters, coupled with malfunctions in the Command Center's systems, causes the Thunder Megazord and White Tigerzord to explode. The Rangers are ejected from the Zords, and their Power Coins burst into golden dust, gone forever.
As the villains celebrate their victory in the Palace, Zordon tells them of an old ally of his, Ninjor. Zordon explains that Ninjor forged the original six Power Coins, and may be able to create new ones for them. With no other choice, the Rangers teleport to Ninjor's last known location, the Desert of Dispair. Sensing this, Zedd sends Rito and the monsters to start smashing Angel Grove (at human size), then sends a flock of Tengu Warriors to tear the Rangers apart (with Finster and Squatt going along to supervise). The Tengu arrive and nearly slaughter the Rangers when suddenly a series of blue energy blasts strike them. The villains turn to see the approaching Ninjor and quickly depart. Ninjor is at first unimpressed with the teens, and prepares to leave them in the desert, until Jason mentions the name Zordon. Ninjor realizes the Rangers are telling the truth and teleports them all to his Temple of Power. With the Tengu reporting their failure to him, Lord Zedd commands Rito and the monsters to speed up the destruction of Angel Grove.
Ninjor informs the Rangers of their totem animals and gives them brand new Ranger Powers based on them. Zack becomes the Black Rhino, Kimberly the Pink Crane, Billy the Blue Wolf, Trini the Yellow Panther, Jason the Red Lion, and Tommy the White Falcon. Ninjor also gives them new Ninja Zords, which can form the Ninja MegaFalconzord. The Rangers blast back to Earth and pummel Rito and the monsters. Zedd and Rita make them grow, and the Rangers summon their new Ninja Zords. The individual Zords destroy the monsters, but Rito is still a bit too strong for them, and so they form the Ninja MegaFalconzord. Using a flaming energy punch using the spirits of the Wolf and the Panther, the Rangers drive Rito back to the moon. Before Zedd can make Rito pay for his failure, Rito holds up an egg, which is already beginning to crack open. When asked what's inside, Rito informs everyone that it's a Vampirus demon. He sends it to the Desert of Dispair, and as soon as it hatches, it summons Ninjor. The two clash violently, and even after growing to giant size, the two seem evenly matched. Finally, however, Ninjor gains the upper hand and overwhelms Vampirus, but it is the Rangers, who have come to help the great sage, who deliver the final blow with the Ninja MegaFalconzord's Spirit Punch. Ninjor thanks the Rangers, and says they can summon him to Earth whenever they need him.
While the addition of Rito Revolto and the Tengu Warriors are a great addition to Zedd and Rita's army, the Rangers' new Ninja Powers and Zords are more than enough to handle them. Together, the Power Rangers and Ninjor thwart every invasion Zedd and Rita attempt. Soon, Katherine Hillard, a girl from Australia who Kimberly had been corresponding with, arrives in Angel Grove. Katherine stays with Kimberly, who begins showing her the sights of the city. When Kimberly leaves her for a moment, Rito and Scorpina appear and cast a spell on her that turns Kat into their personal minion, but only when they call upon her. They disappears before Kimberly returns, leaving Kat with no memory of the event. Thanks to Rito and Scorpina, Kat ends up stealing Kimberly's Power Coin, which Zedd and Rita use to steal the Cranezord, making it impossible for the Rangers to form the Ninja MegaFalconzord, leaving Ninjor as their only way to combat giant monsters. Kimberly now morphs by Zordon infusing her Morpher with energy directly from the Morphing Grid.
Eventually, the Rangers find out of Katherine's connection to Rito and Scorpina, and, not knowing she cannot remember anything while they control her, reluctantly turn their backs on her. The spell weakens, and the memories of everything she has done to the Rangers while under Rito and Scorpina's command suddenly come flooding back to her, and she runs off. The strength of Katherine's heart breaks her free from the spell, and she manages to infiltrate the Palace, capture Kimberly's Power Coin, and returns it to her. Enraged, Rito and Scorpina abduct Katherine with the intent of wiping her mind clean and turning her into a mindless zombie (a la Circuit Astronema). The Rangers manage to rescue her just in the nick of time, and defeat Rito and Scorpina with the Ninja MegaFalconzord.
Scanning the cosmos for anything that might be useful for fighting the Power Rangers, Lord Zedd comes across a set of ancient Zords on the planet Zordnia. He sends Goldar, Scorpina, and Rito to capture them. Zordon senses Zedd's plot and realizes he must be stopped. Ninjor and the Rangers teleport to Zordnia, and come across the evil trio just as they find the Zords. A huge battle erupts, and the villains come out on top, teleporting back to the moon with the ancient Zords. Unfortunately, Finster informs Lord Zedd that the Zords cannot be activated without a sufficient power source. Zedd sends Rito and Scorpina to Earth to battle the Rangers, and thanks to a surprise attack by Goldar, Ninjor is captured. In the Palace, Ninjor is hooked up to a machine that drains his energy and feeds it to the ancient Zords. Piloted by Zedd, Rita, Goldar, Scorpina, and Rito, the ancient Zords attack Angel Grove until the Power Rangers fight back in the Ninja Zords. Even the Ninja MegaFalconzord is no match for the ancient Megazord, and is badly beaten by the Zord's finishing attack.
After a series of battles that the Rangers have been unable to win, Zordon finally has a solution. He has repowered Titanus and reprogrammed it to act as the seventh Ninja Zord, allowing the Rangers to form the Ninja Ultrazord. When the ancient Zords attack next, the Rangers form the Ninja Ultrazord and blast them with it. The blast severs the ancient Zords from their power source, and they eject the villains, who return to the moon. His powers returned to him, Ninjor breaks free of the machine and returns to the Command Center. The Rangers decide to take the ancient Zords for themselves, permenantly connecting the Zords to their Power Coins. They also make "Ancient Zords" the machines' official name. With both the Ancient Zords and the new Ninja Ultrazord on their side, the Rangers and Ninjor are more than a match for Zedd and Rita's forces now.
Some time after the Ancient Zord fiasco, a massive evil presence enters the Earth's airspace. The Earth is shrouded in darkness, and the power cores of both the Command Center and the Temple of Power briefly weaken. Even Zedd and Rita are a bit intimidated by the sudden presence. The cause of the disturbance suddenly appears in the Palace - a hulking, reptillian creature. While Zedd doesn't find the being familiar, Rita, Scorpina, and Rito instantly recognize him: it's their father, Master Vile. Zedd recognizes the name immediately, as Master Vile is legendary, one of the few creatures who actually surpass Zedd in terms of evil. Vile explains that, upon hearing that his children had united with Lord Zedd against Zordon and Ninjor, he knew he should be there to assist them. Vile's general, Globbor, is sent to Earth to battle the Rangers. Draining the power out of both sets of Zords (including Titanus), Globbor proves to be more than a match for the Rangers and Ninjor. After defeating them, Globbor captures all twelve Zords and takes them back to Master Vile, who uses them as templates for his own Zord, Serpenterra.
The Rangers and Ninjor attack the Palace in an attempt to rescue the Zords, and manage to capture all but the Falconzord and Titanus. However, soon construction of Serpenterra is complete, and the two remaining Zords are sent back to the Rangers anyway, completely devoid of power. Soon, Serpenterra arrives on Earth, piloted by Vile himself. Even the combined power of the Ninja MegaFalconzord's Spirit Punch and Ninjor's Ki Blast barely even scratches the serpentine Zord, and the Rangers retreat. Serpenterra sits in the middle of Angel Grove recharging as Zedd's Palace appears in the city. Zedd and Rita decide to open the Gates of Hell itself, letting loose every type of torment imaginable onto the Earth.
Zordon knows this cannot happen. The Power Rangers, Ninjor, Katherine, and even Alpha attack the Palace, trying to stop Zedd and Rita in one last battle royale. Master Vile brings Serpenterra back to life, and Tommy leaves the Palace, utilizing the Falconzord to combat the evil Zord. Despite the Rangers' best efforts, Zedd and Rita open Hell's Gates, a firey portal appearing in the Palace's main chamber. Acting quickly, Jason uses his Tyranno Rage attack on Zedd and Rita's Staffs, creating a massive power overload that causes the portal to Hell to get out of control. It begins to expand rapidly, and the Rangers and the others quickly teleport back to the Command Center. Jason contacts Tommy, who quickly flies off.
The portal contorts and explodes outward, engulfing the entire area with Hellfire. Then, as suddenly as it appeared, the portal is sucked back into non-existance, finally closed. Where the portal touched, nothing is left. A gigantic, charred crater is left behind. The Rangers and their allies walk to the edge of the crater. After getting over the relief of making it out alive, they realize something. The Palace, Serpenterra, Zedd, Rita, and their minions, and Master Vile... all were destroyed by the portal.
The group takes a breath as they realize, for once, the war is over. Earth is finally safe.
Zordon and Ninjor relieve the Rangers of their duties, though they do keep their Morphers and communicators on the off-chance that another threat does arise. Ninjor returns to the Temple of Power, and enters a hibernation-like state. Zordon does the same, retreating to a distant realm within his Altar, while Alpha 5 retains a watch over the Earth.
Out in the depths of space, a fleet of mechanized starships heads toward the Earth...
