A Surge in Power- part one

Connor McKnight, Kira Ford, and Ethan James all stood in Dr. Oliver’s lab with very tired expressions on their faces. It was now 4:30 in the morning and their mentor had called them there for an important breakthrough.

“Thanks for coming on such short notice,” said Tommy.

“Hey Dr. O., does the word “time” mean anything to you?” asked the computer genius Ethan.

“With Mesogog. his tyrannodrones, and his…freaks on the loose, I hardly get any sleep. I understand how precious sleep is you but, I’ve discovered a weakness in the White Dino Gem’s powers,” replied the palientologist, who had studied at MIT.

“So we can stop Trent after all?” asked Kira.

“Is what she’s asking true? Cause I am sick of that poseur!!” replied the not-so-sharp Connor.

“Dude, is “poseur” the only word you can use to describe Trent. I think “creep” and “jerk” fit Trent better,” added Ethan.

“Guys, the gem is making Trent evil! Don’t you see? When Rita Repulsa made me her evil green ranger, the source of my evil was the sword of darkness. When it was destroyed, I was turned to the good side, along with the help of my friends. The only problem is that if we destroy the White Dino Gem, then we destroy the White Ranger powers as well. Our only chance of taming this beast is if we literally tame his beast. We need to take control of the DragoZord for at least 12 hours. Once we do this, the white ranger’s evil will dissipate and bond with it’s newly reformed DragoZord as a newly reformed ranger. The only downside is that, he can’t even fully control his powers. Take a look. At this surveillance camera, you see Trent demorphing unintentionally while fighting Zeltrax There’s a whole lot of static coming from his morpher. So we need to make another full functioning DragoMorpher. Hayley will do that while we’ll get that gem. When he turns to the good side, he and his morpher will disbond with his dino gem. During this time, Hayley will force-bond the gem with the good replica morpher and then we have a new white ranger on our team.” said Tommy.

“Sounds like a lot of work, Dr. O. Do you think we can pull it off?” asked Ethan.

“My friends believed in me. Trent was one of your friends. In order to save him, we have to believe in him,” answered Dr. Oliver.

“Trent, I think it’s time we took care of our little problem. The Dino Rangers have stood in our way long enough to not do something. But our little invention has promised to be successful. Why don’t we do some…male bonding and test it out on Dr. Oliver and his pathetic but successful Dino Rangers?” asked the evil Lord Mesogog, a.k.a. Dr. Anton Mercer.

“Dad, don’t you think we should…”began his son, the evil white ranger.

“Wait, you ask. Son, I am growing impatient. And I’m sure that Zeltrax and Elsa both know what it’s like when I am in Dino form and impatient. We will go ahead with this as planned, son,” replied the mutant freak.

Mesogog then turned to his cyborg, Elsa, and commanded “Prepare the geno-randomizer!” And voula, the Mister Suck-cut was born.


“OOOEEEBOOO…OOOEEEBOOO….OOOEEEBOOO…” went the alarms in Dr. Oliver’s lab.

“Better get to work, guys,” said Conner.

“Hey wait. Dr. O., how do you go to the bathroom with that helmet on?” asked Ethan.

“Ethan…,”sighed Kira.

“Ethan, I go in the suit okay. Now go!!” replied Dr. Oliver in a sarcastic tone.

“READY! DINO THUNDER! POWER UP!” shouted the three teens. Instantly they were transformed into the Power Rangers Dino Thunder!

“Hey ugly!” shouted Connor.

“Huh?” questioned the monster.

“Yes, he fell for it!” replied Connor.

“OK. Now it’s personal, power rangers!” replied the monster.

With a swift kick by Connor, a ptera scream by Kira, and a strong punch by Ethan, the monster was getting really angry. Then the rangers pulled out their signature weapons. The monster immediately sucked the weapons out of their hands into his mouth. And to make things worse, the white ranger showed up out of nowhere.

“Hey rangers! I have a present for you. Hope you like it! Hahaha!” snarled Trent. He pushed a sequence of buttons and four strong bolts of lightening struck the teens and their teacher, causing them to demorph.

“Dr. O. You’ve demorphed! But, wait! Guys, we can’t quit! Let’s finish this!” exclaimed Connor.

“DINO THUNDER! POWER UP!” shouted the four. Right after they were fully morphed, each morpher went ballistic and started to electronically fry. Their suits broke off them like bricks and each ranger was knocked to the ground.

“Let’s try that again!” shouted Tommy.

“DINO THUNDER POWER UP!” they shouted again. But this time, nothing happened. Their morphers were locked. To both our heroes and Mesogog , the future for the Power Rangers looked bleak…

A Surge In Power- part two

“We’re screwed, aren’t we?” Connor asked.

“I can’t believe it. How could we just lose our ranger powers?” asked Kira.

“Guys we didn't lose our ranger powers. We just can’t access them. I think we can still use our Gem Powers, though. Kira, try your PteraScream!” said Dr. Oliver.

“Oh boy!” remarked Ethan. The rangers minus Kira covered their ears.

“IEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA!” went Kira.

“Okay so our powers still work, but it’s our morphing powers that are locked,” said Dr. Oliver.

“So is it a problem with the morphers?”asked Ethan.

“Maybe. It took Haley over two months to build those morphers. We can’t wait like sitting ducks for the next attack on the city. We need emergency powers. And I think I know just how to get them,” explained Dr. Oliver.

“Which would be?” asked Connor.

“You’ll find out in time…I have to make some calls to some old friends,” said Dr. Oliver.

Meanwhile, on Mesogog’s evil island fortress…

“Congratulations, son,” hissed Mesogog. “You have proven yourself worthy of the position of second-in-command. I doubted you, but I am truly impressed. Now Trent, I want you make sure that those former Dino Rangers become extinct.”

“Yes, father,” Trent began, “I will see to it at once.”

“Excellent!!!!” hissed Mesogog.


Adam Park was about to fall through a roof for a scene in for the movie M:I-3 when his cell phone rang.

“Hello?” answered Adam.

“Adam?” asked Tommy.

“Tommy? Hey what’s going on? I haven’t spoken to you since that our five year high school reunion two years ago! What’s going on?” asked the eager Adam.

“Not much. Adam, I need your help. Go find a quiet place. I need to fill you in on something. It regards, um, the Zeo Crystal.” Tommy replied.

“Ah ok,” said Adam. He quickly ran over to a dark alleyway. “What’s going on, Tommy? You know we’re not rangers anymore,” said Adam.

“You aren’t. But I am,” said Tommy. “I am the DinoThunder Black Ranger. I now work over at Reefside High and…ok long story short, they found these Dino Gems. Gems that we’re in the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs. They then bonded with their DNA. Once I found this out, I quickly gave them Dino Morphers which a friend of mine built and they became the Power Rangers DinoThunder. It wasn’t until I found the Black Dino Gem that I became the black ranger. But our morphers our temporarily locked, and I need your Zeonizer temporarily so we can at least fight out enemy,” explained Tommy.

“Tommy, this is great ok. I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I do not have my Zeonizer anymore. The good news is that there is a hidden chamber under the remains of the Power Chamber,” explained Adam.

“I thought the hidden chamber of the Command Center became the Power Chamber,” said Tommy.

“Nay, there was always an emergency secret chamber underneath the Power Chamber. I’ve been there myself. It’s where Tanya and I used to f….,” began Adam.

“Woah, Adam. Too much information! I get it. I’ll pay a visit with the other rangers to Mojave. It’s not far anyway. It’s only like a three-hour drive. We can shoot in and out and stop at In-n-Out along the way.”

“Mmm, gotta love those burgers, man!” said Adam. “Well, good luck Tommy. And may the Power protect you.”

“Ditto to you, Adam. Kudos,” said Tommy.

Then they both hung up. Tommy then began to call another number.

“Hello?” asked Connor.

“Connor. I need you to do me a favor. Call Ethan and Kira. We’re going on a daytrip to the desert. It has to do with your secret extracurricular activity. Meet me at my house at nine. Tell your folks that you’re just going to the beach all day,” instructed Dr. Oliver.

“Sure thing, Dr. O. I’ll give them a call. See you tomorrow!” said Connor.

“Bye,” said Dr. Oliver.

“Let’s hope you can get some sleep tonight, Tommy,” Dr. Oliver said to himself.

Anyway

1. The characters are all IN character at the beggining, the fanfic opened pretty well, almost like WATCHING an episode of Dinothunder

2. Adam's line about the Hidden Chamber was beyond hilarious

3. Watch how you pronounce things, and your spelling is a little off, use a spellchecker.

I see nothing really bad in this effort, keep it up.

Or people can read and review his fanfic if they want to. If he's posting it, he obviously wants people to read it, and they always have a review on it. If he can't take critcism, screw him.

Hey guys. I have some unfortunate news. My grandfather just died on Thursday of an aorta failure and I have had to spend time with my family for the past few days. Please keep him (his name was "Smiley" because he didn't like his real name so much) in your prayers. I probably should have part 3 in by Friday night. It's really good. All I can say now is to expect more surprises.

Power Rangers Dino Thunder- a surge in power- part 3

The wind blew in Ethan James face as he looked out the window of Dr. Oliver’s black jeep. The sun was rising ‘behind’ a hill and it was a magnificent sight. Kira and Connor, on the other hand, were snoring louder than a Porsche’s whining engine noise.

“Hang on guys, we’re almost there!” said Tommy. “Anyone up for In-n-Out?” he asked.

Connor immediately woke up. “Hell yes!!!!” he exclaimed. He soon became antsy. He was really eager to get out of the car and was acting like a two year old on his first long car trip.

The speaker window spoke, “Welcome to In-n-Out. How may I help you?”

“Yes we’d like a flying Dutchman, three orders of Animal style fries, an order of regular fries, two double-doubles, and a cheeseburger…” Tommy began.

“With onions!!!” said Kira, now awake.

“Um, yes, with onions,” said Dr. Oliver.

“Ok, that’ll be aboot $16.47.” said the speaker window.

“Dude,” Connor said to his friend “she’s Canadian!

“How do you know?” asked Ethan. “Isn’t Canada like, America Junior?”

“Instead of saying “about”, people from Canada say “aboot”, said Connor.

“That’s a stereotype. Have you ever heard more than five Canadians say “aboot”?” said Dr. Oliver.

“Yeah. On Degrassi!” said Connor. “I mean, um, that satellite Canadian News Channel thing that Haley gets.”

“Haha, YOU watch Degrassi?” said Ethan, laughing. “My sister is obsessed with that show, hahaha!!”

They paid for their food and headed down the freeway until they reached the offramp for Edwards Air Force base. Once they passed it, Dr. O. suddenly drove off the road onto the trail. The Jeep’s shock absorbers absorbed most of the rough terrain, but the car still bounced until finally they reached a large empty plain that had a path leading uphill. There they saw something that looked like a modern church with a very large chimney. Wherever Dr. O. was leading them, it was almost certain that he had been there before.

“What’s that? That looks like this place in Simi Valley I saw on the net where there’s that college where they filmed…”

“Quiet you!” Tommy whispered. “You’re ruining the fanfic!”

The Dino Rangers then walked up to the abstract building and saw a series of electronic panels. Tommy looked at them for a second and seemed to remember something. The teens and Dr. Oliver then heard a computerized voice.

“Please identify yourself,” the feministic voice commanded.

“Thomas “Tommy” Oliver,” Tommy responded.

“Identity known. Please state, chronologically, your status as a ranger,” it commanded.

“Ex-Mighty Morphin’ Green Ranger, ex-Mighty Morphin’ White Ranger, ex-White Falcon Ninja Ranger, ex-Zeo Ranger V Red, ex-Red Lighting Turbo Ranger, Dino Thunder Black Ranger,” he replied.

“Identity confirmed.” There was a series of beeps and whirrs. The door then slid open and the rangers walked in. There were a few blacklights that led to a door, but other than that, there was no real lighting.”

“Dr. O.,” began Kira, “when are you gonna tell us what’s going on?”

“Just be patient, Kira. You’ll all find out in time,” replied Tommy.

An LCD screen lit up. That same computerized voice was heard again.

“Tommy, according to our sensors, we have detected three other beings. Please give us their information,” commanded the voice.

“Before I do, I must update the ranger server. There have been new teams of rangers since 2002,“ he said. He inserted a disc and the information seemed to play on the screen. After the update, he continued, “These three are the primary holders of the Dino Gem powers: Connor McKnight, Ethan James, and Kira Ford.”

“This is enough information to grant access into the new and improved Power Chamber. Welcome, Rangers,” said the voice. The doors then slid open and there was fog everywhere. Suddenly a red light appeared over a platform. Tommy then seemed hypnotized by it and drew closer and closer to it.

“I’ve think we’ve almost found what we’re looking for,” said Tommy.

“Ai Yai Yai Yai Yai!” said a voice that enunciated so well that it almost sounded like a child after successful speech therapy. “Welcome back to the Power Chamber, Tommy!”

“Wow, a fully functioning multi…” Ethan began.

“You are going to say automaton. The first blue ranger said the exact same thing when he first met me.”

“The thing is, robot dude, we don’t know who your are,” said Connor.

“Guys,” began Tommy, “this is Alpha 5. He was Zordon’s personal assistant. I don’t know what he’s doing here but it’s like a Zeo reunion!”

“And its about to get better!” said a voice. The teens, Tommy, and Alpha, looked over and saw Rocky DeSantos, Kat Hillard, Jason Lee Scott, Tanya Sloan, and Adam Park all wearing two wrist mounted devices.

“Wow! What are you guys all doing here?” asked the shocked Dr. Oliver.

“Dr. O., who are these people?” asked Kira.

“Kira, these people were Zeo Rangers just like I was. I went to high school with them,” Tommy explained. Both teams of rangers quickly introduced themselves.

“Yeah, just yesterday we got a call from Adam that said we could use a little hand because your Dino Powers were locked,” said Kat.

“This is so surprising! Wow I mean, Jason how’d you get your powers back? Kat, how’d you get here from your school in England so quickly? Rocky, where the fuck have you been since PRT (hehe)? And Adam, woah this is really overwhelming!” exclaimed Tommy.

“Tommy, can we answer these questions later, we have a monster to stop, remember?” asked Adam.

“I can’t morph, but wait, of course, the Zeonizers. They were built to simply access the powers, regardless of being chosen or not,” said Dr. O. “Alpha, analyze the Dino Morphers. Try to see what’s wrong with them. Alright guys! Let’s do it!”

He strapped on his Zeonizers and then began a phrase that had not been uttered since his reunion with nine other red rangers two years before. “IT’S MORPHIN’ TIME!” he yelled.

“ZEO RANGER I, PINK!”

“ZEO RANGER II, YELLOW!”

“ZEO RANGER III, BLUE!”

“ZEO RANGER IV, GREEN!”

“ZEO RANGER V, RED!”

“GOLD RANGER POWER!”

In a flash they were united as a team again. Zeo Rangers they once were, Zeo Rangers they would always be. They teleported to Reefside where Mister Suck-cut was sucking all that he could, including trees, buildings, and even trash. It seemed that sucking gave it power. All of a sudden, a limo pulled up. A skinny white “woman” opened the door from the inside. It was Michael Jackson. He then looked up at the monster.

“Hey big boy! Why don’t you suck on this!” he squealed. He then grabbed his wiener and did his trademark spin.”

“Never in a million years, you child molester. Even evil monsters like me know that’s wrong, you pervert!” Mister Suck-cut said.

“Sleeping with children is nor wronaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh,” squealed Jacko, as Mister Suck-cut sucked him up and ate him.

“Now, rangers, where were we?” he asked.

“It’s time to finish him!” said Tommy. “We need the Super Zeo Zords, now!”

“I need Pyramidas, now!” said Jason.

The Super Zeo Zord along with the Super Zeo Megazord and the Red Battlezord combined to form the Super Zeo Ultrazord. Once the Zords were combined, they attacked Mister Suck-cut with both Pyramidas’ lasers and the Red Battlezord’s cannons. This always did the trick even for Mesogog’s monsters. Once again, the Power Rangers had saved the day and that annoying wannabe rock star person sang the Zeo theme song. But the Power Rangers had another problem, Trent Fernandez Mercer.

“Another team of rangers? Easy peasy lemon squeazy. I’ll squash their ugly megazord into tiny pieces!” snarled Trent. He thought about this for a second or two and then abruptly reconsidered his evil plan. “Nay, I’ll steal their zords like I stole the Dino Zords. Muhaa hah hah haa!! Muhaa haa haa haa!! Muhaa ha....cough cough cough...” Trent began coughing. He couldn’t stop no matter how hard he tried. He finally hit himself hard on the chest and a piece of cheese flew out of his mouth. “This story is getting really cheesy,” he muttered to himself. “It’s time to take care of this boil on my ass known as the Power Rangers!” he snarled again.

“WHITE RANGER! DINO POWER!”

“Worthless vintage Zords, eh old man?” Trent said to Tommy. “But I like what I see here. I suddenly want your Zords, and I always get what I want.”

Trent quickly stole the Super Zeo Zords, as well as the Red Batlezord and Pyramidas from the Zeo Rangers, causing the Zeo Rangers to draw back.

“What’ll we do now?” asked Rocky.

“Let’s figure this out back at the Power Chamber,” said Jason. The Zeo Rangers then teleported back to their base of operations. Trent then demorphed and smiled with a newfound sense of satisfaction. Would this truly be the end of the Zeo Rangers? If not, then how about the Dino Rangers?
