--Power Rangers Dragon Strike
--Episode 1
V Gone, Danger Looming
"This is so great, Tommy! It's been so long since I've seen you!" Kat said. She took a sip of her coke.
"Yeah, I know. You look great." Tommy replied
"Oh thanks! You look great, too!" Kat took a bite of her salad
"So how was your vacation?"
"Oh, it was great. I had a great time. Ha, it was more-less a move than a vacation." They both laughed, " So, what have you been up to lately?"
"Well, I opened a martial arts dojo here in town, a little while after we gave our powers away." Tommy took a sip of his drink, "Well, I had that running for a few years, then, about 5 years ago, to be exact, something extrordinary happened." Tommy took another sip of his drink.
"What's that?"
"Well, I was at my house, out on the patio when I got the call. Someone wanted me to meet them. It turns out that it was Andros, the Red Space Ranger."
"What did he need you for?"
"Oh, he didn't need just me--he needed every red ranger."
"Every red ranger?" Kat had an ah-struck look on her face.
"Yeah, every red ranger. From Jason to some new guy named Cole."
"Wow. Astonishing. So, what powers did you use? You were a red ranger twice, you know. Along with white. And I think Kimberly told me something about you being the Green Ranger once? Anyways, what powers did you use?"
"I used the Zeo. T.J. used the Turbo. And, yeah, I've been three different colors. But I am just living a regular life now."
"Yeah, I understand. I can't really go back to being a ranger after all of this time either. I am 32 years old, and all of the relationships I have been in have been nothing, and I mean nothing to me." Kat realized the disappointed look on Tommy's face, realizing what she said. "Well, I guess all of them. Maybe a couple. Or one." she said, smiling.
"Yeah, I understand." Tommy looked at his watch. "Oh--I gotta go, umm, nice seeing you agian. Sorry I have to go so soon...uh, maybe we can go on another date, preferably longer than this?"
Kat laughed. "Yeah, I'd love to. How about we meet at the, hmm, where do you like to eat?"
"Anywhere's fine for me. That's the cool thing about Angel Grove, there's a lot of good places to eat."
"Umm, how about the Riverside Dine Thursday at 9 sound good?"
"Yeah, great. See ya there!" Tommy said as he threw some money on the table.
Tommy waved goodbye to Kat and started walking towards the door. Then, a huge explosion blasted right outside the resturant. Tommy fell back from the from the force of the blast. People were screaming and running, out of some sort of fear.
"What the?" Tommy quickly got up and walked outside. He couldn't see anything from all the dust and smoke from luring around from the explosion.
"Tommy, Tommy, what's going on?" Kat was now standing beside him.
"I don't know. I can't see anything through this--"
The dust started twirling, spinning around like a tornado. It then disappeared like the wind had just blown it all away. Standing in the destructed road were lizard-like humanoids.
"What in the world?" Kat took a step back and looked at Tommy with a questionable face.
Tommy turned to Kat. "I wish I knew." he said
The redish humanoids started chasing after people and attacking them. One ran up to Tommy and Kat. They could now recongnize the monsters' details. Their faces looked like those of Dragons, and they had scales like a lizard. They were also equipped with arm blades.
The Dragon-Like humanoid raised it's arm to attack Tommy, but he kicked it right before its blade made contact. Tommy and Kat looked at each other, and knew what each other were thinking. They both ran inot a group of the monsters. Tommy spin-kicked one, sending it spinning to the ground. Kat tripped one and then ducked a punch from another, then kicked it away and into two others.
"There's too many of them!" Kat yelled as she fought off another monster by elbowing it in the chest, "They just keep coming!"
"That's it!" Tommy yelled as he kicked a humanoid down. He flicked his wrists, making the zeonizers appear. "It's morphin' time!" he yelled. He threw his right hand above his head, then brought his right up to make an "X". Then, with one sift movement, he threw his hands out to the sides and back in. "Zeo Ranger V, Red!" he yelled, the Red Zeo Ranger suit appearing on him. "Let's hope the Red Zeo Crystal has one more fight left in it" he said. A monster ran up to him and tried to slash him, but he steps back then spin-kicks the monster down. Another runs at him but he flips over it, grabs it's arms and hurls it into a group of three.
Kat uppercuts a monster as another grabs her arms. She flips it over her head and punches it in the chest. She ducks a kick from another, countering it with a punch to the groin area, then a swift kick to the jaw.
Tommy relaxes his fists, "That's all of them."
Kat runs up to him, "Yeah. So, the Zeo Powers are still working?"
"Yeah, the Red Crystal still has some power left in it. I don't know about any of the others."
"Cool. Well, what were those things? Something is very--oh my god, Tommy, look!" Kat pointed in the distance.
There was a guy in a trenchcoat with a huge sword in its sheath on his back. He had a pure white face, but that is all they could really see on him, detail wise. He was walking towards them, firing shots of energy out of his hands at hidden and escpaing civilians.
Tommy got back in his fighting stance, "Well, let's hope that the power lasts" he said, then began running towards the unknown. As he got closer, he recongnized an odd tatto on the villian's face. He observed it, but continued to run towads the unknown villian. Kat stayed behind, not to cause any trouble or get in the way.
"Who are you? And why are you doing this to these innocent people?" Tommy asked
The unknown villian turned to Tommy. "So many questions, Tommy Oliver."
"How do you know me? I don't even know who you are!"
"Well, to get your pathetic whining overwith, I'll answers your questions. My name is Krymeson. And the reason why I am here is to get rid of you. I could careless about these pahthetic people." Krymeson walked closer, and Tommy could now makeout the odd tatto on his face. It was a warrior with a huge sword, much like the one sheathed on Krymeson's back, stabbing through a dragon at its neck.
"What are you going to accomplish by getting rid of me?"
"What a dumb question. To get rid of the "best" power ranger. Once you are out of my way---"
"Let me guess; you want to rule the world, just like all of the other creeps who, might I inform you, I, along with the other rangers, defeated?"
"Not just the world, the universe!"
"Then give me your best damn shot!" Tommy yelled as he ran up to Krymeson and threw a punch at him, but he caught his fist. "Must you make me do this the hard way?" he said. "Anything to stop you!" Tommy replied. "Don't plan on it!" Krymeson kneed Tommy in the stomach and then uppercutted him in the helmet, sending him flipping.
Tommy struggled back to his feet. As he got up, his suit flickered, but it stopped and he continued to get up. "May this be my last battle with the Zeo Powers, but I know they'll go to good use!" he said as he ran towards Krymeson.
"Ha! You fool! For being the "best" ranger you're pretty damn stupid!" Krymeson drew his sword from his back. Tommy attempted to kick him but Krymseon ducked and then slashed upwards at Tommy, sending sparks flying and Tommy spinning.
Tommy hit the ground, his suit fading away. The zeo crystal appeared in front of him on the ground. He reached out his hand to grab it, but it shattered into pieces."Damn..." he said.
"Tommy!" Kat ran up to him and helped him to his feet. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. The zeo power protected me. But it's gone now. The red crystal shattered."
"Foolish, powerless ranger," Krymeson was walking towards them, "No more of this little play." He blasted a green-energy ball at them.
As the ball was coming towards them, Tommy pushed Kat out of the way . The ball hit him, and in a split second, he was gone.
"Tommy!" Kat screamed, turning to Krymeson, "What did you do to him?"
"The question isn't I did to him, but what I did with him."
"Then what did you do with him?"
"I sent him to a place, oh, how do I say this, a place of no return. Does that work for you?"
"What do you mean, 'a place of no return'?"
"He's never coming back, get over it! He's in the past--but, but, he just made my future possible!" Krymeson laughed as he dissappeared.
