POWER RANGERS: Guardians from the Sky
Before we begin…
Power Rangers: Guardians from the Sky is based off of “Choujin Sentai Jettoman (Birdman Task Force Jetman)”, The 1991 Sentai Series. I have never watched the series, and have gained this basis only through gathering information on the Internet. Because of this, those of you who have seen it don’t expect to get a novelized version of the show.
Anyway, I don’t own PR or Sentai, blah blah blah… Okay, story time!
Chapter One
Falling Angels
The strained sunlight brushed his eyes. As the Morning began to settle, Apollo awoke. He slowly pulled his naked body out of the bed, waiting some time to let his tired eyes adjust to the light. As his eyes focused, he looked about the room. It was fairly small, but it was only one room of the apartment. It was for sleep, T.V., and sex.
His gaze turned to Alexa. Even in her sleeping form, she was still as beautiful as if she were awake.
He decided to dress before he woke her. He walked across the room to the tall dresser in the corner. He dressed quickly, pulling a red t-shirt on over his most comfortable pair of gray sweatpants. Grabbing a hairband, he tied back his scraggly dirty blonde hair.
He positioned himself over Alexa, his lips softly grazing hers. With a flutter like a butterfly, Alexa woke, a glazed look and a smile on her face.
“Sleep well?”
“Only cause you were with me.”
It made Apollo so happy to hear her voice. Even after a year of marriage, he still loved her as much as he did the day he met her.
Coincidentally, it was a happy day for other reasons. It was a due date, if you will, although not just for Apollo and Alexa. They had met on the job, both worked for the military. He was a soldier, she a scientist. Recently, the military of the Pteratlantia, the Giant floating island in the sky, had developed a new defense system.
The idea had been derived from the ancient religion that had once been practiced in Pteratlantia, which told of five gods, Gods, Ambius, Terraco, Anetres, Nokan and Shuya, nicknamed collectively as "Jetmen". The Jetmen each fought alongside an avian partner. The Falcon, Condor, Owl, Swan, and Swallow assisted the gods in battling the many evil denizens that appeared in the myths.
The Pteratlantian military had designed a set of five armored suits based off of the Jetmen, along with weaponry and massive flying robots called zords. Today was the day that the Energy Eggs, the capsules in which these powers were held, were to “hatch”. Both Apollo and Alexa had been selected to hold one of the Jetman powers.
... aaand here comes the writer's block. So this is the begining of it. Tell me what you think, I'll probably post more later today.
An interesting concept. The only thing that I found odd, what that you rushed introducing Gods, mythical battles, the armor, and "eggs". All are great concepts, but should have more than 5 lines devoted to them... especially since they are both Jetmen and Alexa may have played a role in creating the armor.
But keep up the good work. I would also think about how much you want to post at once. just write a little bit each day, and then post an update when you get a few pages under yourbelt.

Chapter One, Part Two
The morning passed ever so slowly, as the pair sat in the waiting room stationed outside the incubator in which the eggs were waiting. Along with Apollo and Alexa were the three others who were chosen to have the jetman powers. Samao was a tall, tough man with eyes like fire and a shaven head, which shone like a star. He was a rough guy, but on the inside, tender and kindly. He was one of Apollo’s most trusted colleagues and friends. Next to Samao was Dane, a scruffy blond teenager with a goofy smile and a greasy face. He was a Mechanic who worked in the hangar, and despite his age, harbored experience beyond the most elderly of the staff. Zo was the last of them. A girl who had been involved in a terrible oil accident, much of her body was replaced with cyborg parts, and she was trained to use them in battle.
Apollo smiled at Alexa. She looked so beautiful in the sunlight- her wavy blonde hair seemed to illuminate in the sun, her entire body seemed as if it was an entity of another world.
“This can’t be real.”
“What?”
“You?”
Dane made a gagging noise, and Apollo turned and glared at him. His glare suddenly turned into a stare, as if his eyes were gasping. His throat seemed to silence itself, but he had to say something as he saw the figures approach the window behind Dane.
“Dane, move!”
Suddenly, a group of soldiers leaped through the window, and rushed toward everyone. The nearest grabbed Dane and pinned his gun to the back of his head. Before Dane could react, there was a band and a splash of crimson blood. Alexa screamed, and ran.
“ALEXA!”
Apollo turned to the enemies, rushing at him with their guns. Samao and Zo were occupied with other soldiers, their brawn and strength made it easier for them to attack unarmed. Apollo’s first reaction was to punch the incoming soldiers, but they were masked, his attack would be harmless. Apollo dove to the ground and rolled out of the way. He scanned the room- Alexa was nowhere.
Suddenly, a crash of glass turned his attention elsewhere. The large viewing window to the incubator room had been smashed, and the room’s high temperature had caused a fire to start. An enemy soldier crawled through the opening, heading toward the energy eggs. Apollo rushed after him, only to be shot in the shoulder by a soldier. He screamed in pain, and dropped to the ground. He shook himself out of it quickly, and ran into the incubator, clutching his shoulder in agony. The room was boiling hot, and it was obvious that the enemy’s armor was heat resistant. The soldier approached the red energy egg, and Apollo ran at him, tackling him to the ground, sending his gun swirling across the floor into the inferno. Apollo reached up and grabbed the capsule. It was warm, as it should be, and it glowed with a vibrant energy. It didn’t feel brittle, as an egg should.
Without warning, the gun exploded from the heat of the fire. The explosion rocked the incubator room, blowing out the wall. Apollo watched as the soldier was consumed in the fire, as the eggs fell to the floor as the blast sent him hurdling across the room and plummeting toward the earth below.

Chapter 2
Fate
Apollo didn’t know what would become of him, but he imagined it would probably look like a bright red puddle of pancake batter. He fell through the sky, his eyelids glued shut. He felt the wind as if it was ripping through his body. The only sound was the rush of the air as he tore through the sky.
As death neared him, he felt warmth against his chest in the cold wind. The egg was bursting with heat, and without warning, it exploded.
Apollo opened his eyes. He could hear again, as people below screamed. Look up there, the voices said. Apollo looked about the sky. His body glowed with a reddish hue, and he slowly descended downward, and landed on the sidewalk safely. People stared at him, and Apollo turned from the crowd and ran. He turned through the busy streets, not sure where he was going, only knowing he didn’t want to be questioned. He gazed upward, trying to see Pteratlantia, but it was too high up. He couldn’t see among the clouds.
He turned as he heard a pop come from the nearby plaza. A blonde woman, about his age, he presumed, sat at a table, illuminated in a white light. Fragile shards of shell lay about her feet.
The other energy eggs were safe, he thought. Well, sort of. The had fallen from the base when it had exploded. But if they hatched, they would choose someone to assume their powers. It slowly dawned on Apollo that he was the only one of the chosen five who had received his powers. He approached the girl, who looked to be in shock.
“Hey.”
“Oh, hi. Do I know you?”
“Um, well, no.”
“Well, nice to meet you then. I’m Sara Sullivan.”
“Apollo Avrixtar.”
“Interesting Name.”
“It’s… Greek.”
Apollo glanced up and down Sara’s body. She was dressed in a white leotard, with a white denim jacket over.
“Are you a gymnast or something?”
“Dancer, actually.”
She paused.
“So, are you hitting on me, or something?”
Apollo blinked. She’s blunt, he thought to himself. And pretty. But there’s still Alexa. Did she survive? Oh god…
“So? Apollo?”
“No, I’m not. It’s about what just happened. The glow.”
“I don’t know what it was. Sorry.”
“Where did it come from?”
“What’s with all the questions?”
“Alright, listen. You’ll probably think I’m crazy, but here it goes. I come from Pteratlantia-“
“You’re right, I think you’re crazy.”
“ It’s a city in the sky. On top of a cloud. And We were just attacked. And the energy eggs- these capsules holding these powers were blown off of island. And I think you might have had one when it hatched.”
“Well… Yeah. This white egg just fell out of the sky, and I caught it. A couple minutes later, it exploded.”
She paused.
“Am I going to die?”
He glanced at her arm. She had a bracelet, with a white egg shaped circle and wings sprouting from the edge. He looked at his own arm, seeing a red egg bracelet on it.
“Sara, You are going to be a power ranger.”

Like I said you are a great writer but you rush things and dont always give them a proper explaining. I will say it again you are one of the best writers on this board but you need to work on those two things.

Very confusing. Trying taking a bit more time to really define who is speaking.
