Continued from Part 1…

Mark was the first to arrive at Lightning Force HQ, followed later by Becky, Kyle, Marshall, Dave, and Cody. For sure they felt so devastated with the loss; at least that is what Gordon can read from their faces.
“Calm down Rangers,” Zordon appeases. “It’s not over yet.”
“We need to change our plans now,” says Marshall. “It seems that they have expected about the raid. That’s why they can trap us.”
“About that, it’s completely my fault,” Kyle confesses. Those words cause a surprise between everyone there.
“What’re you talking about?” asks Dave.
“Actually, before this Strike Force Warriors and Lightning Force Warriors has join forces together to beat Lord Cranston- Antaganus combination,” he reveals. “Then in exchange to lock Antaganus forever in its own dimension, we had to give up our powers for 20 years.”
“So you mean that when you re-assuming your power, the gate will open?” figures Cody.
“Exactly, but I did not expect it will be big enough to release a monster,” Kyle added.
“No wonders why I saw a fireball last night,” admits Becky.
“Great… now we had two troubles to deal with,” grumbles Cody afterwards.
Then they become quiet for a while. Zordon knows he need to re-gel the team before proceeding with the next plan, and first would be to appoint a leader. Kyle might be a strong candidate, but he has another person that might be suitable.
“I choose you Becky, as the leader for our next plan,” Zordon announced.
“I don’t think I can… “Becky says.
“No, you’re good enough to lead this team,” he expressed his confidence.
“Ok, I would lead the team,” she accepts the task.
However, Mark did not approve that appointment but he rather keeps it inside his heart. It also did not last longer, since Becky seems regretted her flop in the last battle. He took that chance to blast her straight away.
“If only they were here…” Becky wishes.
“Then why you didn’t allow me to get in?” Mark angrily asks.
“What’re you talking about?” she asks.
“I’ve could make the cut!” Mark blasted his feelings by referring to the shot made by her to him, and causes a shock among them.
“But your mind is on the other side of the cave,” she stressed.
“Why you couldn’t leave me alone?” he questioned.
“Your head even wasn’t on the job, all you can think about is beating the monsters,” she says.
“Maybe you’re upset because I’m much better than you in fighting,” he assumes “so now it’s your team, it’s your rule, so it’s your way in the highway! And I’m sick of it.”
“Yes, it’s my rule, my rule to keep us alive and if you want to stay in this team, you need to abide by the rule,” she warns.
“So you really hate me, aren’t you?” he concludes, “We came here to release Lightning Force Rangers, but now not only that, we had to deal with second enemy, and had to save our captured friends. One task becomes three, you think I enjoy that?” he screams, and quickly leaves them for the outside to calm him down. Becky can only regretfully watch the floor since she now realise how hard it is to get the team together. The others including Zordon, can only feel sympathy with her as she has been misunderstood by him.
Meanwhile, Marcus, Xiaolong, Victor, Liz, Scott, and Sean has been captured by Darkonda, Ecliptor, and Firecracker after that battle, and they have been represented to Lord Cranston and his son at his castle. Lord Cranston in particular, is so happy that Lightning Hunter has been captured and how, he will have a little resistance to conquer Eltar.
“Now you will join your friends, Lightning Hunter,” says Lord Cranston arrogantly.
“Where are they?” demands Victor. “Show me that they’re still alive!”
“Don’t worry, they’re fine and waiting for you,” he added.
“And you Earth Rangers… never ever interfere in Eltar’s affair!” Prince Cranston says to the rest, before sends a slap to Scott’s face.
“You’re really looking for trouble!” Scott shouts as he almost loses his patience, only to be held down by Xiaolong and numbers of Skeletors.
“Easy, easy,” Xiaolong calm him down. “There’s no use we fight. Who knows no patience gains nothing.”
“Where ever you go, good always overcome the evil,” warns Marcus.
“Skeletors, take them away,” commands Lord Cranston. “We will take you to your friends in hell.”
Back to Lightning Force HQ, Zordon asks Lunar 7 to sets up a communication signal to Earth. After several minutes, all things are ready, and they begin to send the signal to the designated place.
At the same time on Earth, in Port Voyage, Adam is at the basement making some research as well as mechanic work. Since Mark departs for Eltar, he has trusted the former Black Ranger to take care of the place. While he is about to fixing something, he receives a signal from outside Earth, and was so surprised to see Zordon on the line.
“Adam, how’re you there?” Zordon asks.
“Zordon… I thought you’ve…” Adam surprised.
“I’m fine here, Adam,” he replies. “Actually, I want to talk to you about something… about Mark.”
At the outside of HQ meanwhile, Mark sits on the ground while watching the scenery around. He simply cannot understand why Becky wants to leave him out from the squad. At the same time, the view of the last moments of the battle still spins around his mind. Still felt that he can get through the falling rocks, he pointed his blaming fingers to her, whom he felt should not make anything harm to him.
Then Dave came around in attempt to calm him down. He knows this is a risky, as he is concern that Mark would go outrage by his remark. But at least, he needs to try. Then he carefully approaches his fellow Ranger to begin the move.
“May I have a seat?” Dave asks gently, and Mark just takes a look on him briefly before turning his head back. Assuming that he allows him to do so, he sits at his left and continues, “I know how you feel about the loss, we also think the same too. But we need to get together first.”
“I just want to do the right thing, but nobody trust me,” Mark expressed his thoughts. “She tries to left me out of the squad.”
“I don’t believe that,” the Australian says. “Becky just wants to do the right thing for the sake of the whole team.”
“But she is very… “ The Anglo-American boy seems has lost his words.
“I heard you like football, right?” Dave asks him, and he nods his head once. “Football is not just about a group of 22 people from two teams chasing for a ball, and then takes a shoot on goal. It’s more than that.” As Mark seems interested a bit, he continues, “It is about a man cooperating with his another 10 team mates, to beat 11 players from the opposition.”
The he explained further, “Even a player like Zidane or Beckham can’t win a football match, without the help of other 10 guys on the pitch. Football represents teamwork at its best, even far more than any other team sport.”
“Is that has anything to do with me?” Mark still not wants to admit his mistake.
“There are various positions in football, and each one has its own tasks on the pitch,” Dave explained. “When you play in a team, you need to trust each person to do his job, that’s what being partners is all about. And sometimes, counting on someone else is the only way to win. I think now you can see why Thierry Henry can set chances for his team mates to score, even though he can score the goal himself.” Then somehow Mark quickly gets inside the HQ, and was followed later by the curious Dave.
At the inside, Zordon is having a talk with Adam, and the latter seems understand with difficulties that his former mentor has with his prodigy. The others on the place also listens to the talk despite they rather listen than giving their view.
“Honestly, I have less trouble dealing with monsters than Mark,” Adam admits. “He is sometimes too tenacious for a Ranger, and very temperamental. Maybe his past can answer all this.”
“His past?” Zordon wonders. “What do you mean by that?”
“He has being rejected by all around him, due to his background and belief,” he explains. “I think now he listens to no one but himself.”
“That can be very dangerous” Zordon acknowledged. “He has no team spirit, jeopardise everyone surrounds him while fighting, or worst, self-destruct when under pressure.”
Then suddenly Mark shows up, and admits his mistake -which causes a huge surprise around them. But far from apologise, he is willing to work together again with the rest especially Becky. Even Zordon and Adam delighted with the change even though it might be for a brief time.
After being badly tortured, the captured sixth Rangers were transported to an unknown place with a plane. For sure they have a bad time all the way, but at the same time, Victor tries to heard a conversation at the outside of the room between Prince Cranston, Darkonda, and Ecliptor.
“What’re you doing?” Liz asks.
“Just quiet,” Victor replies slowly to everyone, and Sean then doing the same thing too as he gets close and put his right ear to the door. Then after the triplet walks away, the duo comes back to the bench with disbelief faces.
“What? What did you heard?” Liz asks again.
“It’s worse than I thought,” says Victor, as he takes a seat alongside Marcus.
In an unknown prison, Lightning Force Rangers are messing around their cell, counting their day execution day to come. Despite looks lifeless, they did not giving up any hope yet- at least inside their heart.
Then they received a shock gift from the Skeletors- the captured sixth Rangers including Victor.
“What’re you doing here, bro?” Clark asks Victor. “Who are they?”
“They’re Rangers from Earth, came here to help us,” he explains.
“What’re you talking about?” Liz sounds, as she almost cannot stand with the situation. “You pull us to join you, and then you say we volunteered to come here.”
“Don’t start, Liz” Marcus tries to calm her, “not now.”
“This is NUTS!” she screams at the outgoing Skeletors, before turning to her fellow Rangers behind her. “We’re not even supposed to be here! I HATE THIS!”
“Liz…” Scott tries to speak, as he approaches her.
“Now I’m really angry with all this!” she blasted her anger and ignoring the others.
“Liz, listen to me!” he shouts, makes her to finally shut her mouth. “This is hard, but it is better we think the way to escape than screams like a group of crazy men.”
“But how we can escape from here?” she sceptically asks. “We don’t even know where we are. It’s impossible for our friends to search us.”
“Actually, I believe they can,” Victor says with a soft smile on his face. Indeed, when the remaining Rangers at the HQ have prepared a raiding plan on the unknown prison. They know they need to put aside their ego to get together, and thankfully they managed to do that. After all things have been set, they were teleported to the designated place by Lunar 7. Before departing, Zordon wishes them a good luck for the mission.
In another planet near to Eltar, Lord Cranston, his son, and his two right hand men are making a supervision work over a project there. The project looks like a gigantic gun, which has been pointed to the clear sky. It has almost finished and ready for use.
“Master, the project is on a fine-tuning level, and we will be able to use it shortly,” indicates Darkonda.
“Soon, we will make a revenge on what they did to us, father!” Prince Cranston says.
“Yes, soon enough, it will be a doom for them,” Lord Cranston added, without mentioning whom he intended to make the revenge. Shortly, he introduced another monster to work together with Firecracker to safeguard the place- Floodhammer.
At the outside of a cave on a snowy location meanwhile, there are four Skeletors on guard. They look so cautious this time, indicating that this was no trap like before. However in a zap, a flash moving thing knocked all of them down. It appears to be Mark, utilizing his ability gifted by his Ace V2 power for that purpose, and shortly he was joined by the others in front of the entrance.
“Good job, Mark,” Becky praises.
“What’s next?” Cody asks as he looks around.
“We have two options,” she unveils. “A, we go stealth; we had to shut down the alarm system. B, we go dynamic; breaching the place quickly.”
“B” chooses Dave, and was followed by all of them.
“Then, lets go!” she commands the team as they begin to breach the place.
Together in a dash, breached the place unmorphed, and fights Skeletors that stand on their way using only determination and strength. This raid triggers the alarm, and surprises the captured Rangers in their cell.
“What happen?” Sean wonders over the situation.
“I think the rescue has arrived,” says Victor, as he runs to the railing watching the running Skeletors that heading to the outside area.
Despite the number of the villain foot soldiers keep flowing, they had no trouble to take on all of them. After managed to beat them, they runs to the cell that holds their friends, and Marshall took that chance to break the lock by a laser emitter that was supplied by Zordon. They look relieved to see them again from their facial expression.
“What took you so long?” asks Victor, as he gets out from the cell first before being followed by the others inside.
“You think it is easy for us to came here?” Becky says asks him again.
“How did you find us?” Liz wondering.
“We attached a trekking bug to Victor before running out from the cave recently,” she says as he shows the device right inside his shirt pocket. “So we have no problem to track down all of you here.”
“Great, now we can get out from here,” says Cody, eager to lead them out.
“No, we got another big trouble,” Victor reveals. “They want to destroy earth using a laser gun.”
“What?” Dave shocked, and so does everyone else from the raiding team.
“Lord Cranston has built gigantic laser cannon in Extar planet to destroy Earth,” he explains. “Extar is nearer in distance and from what I’ve heard, the power of the laser is equal to the temperature of Sun at its surface.”
“That’s not good,” says Kyle, “can we get there on time?”
“Yes, I think,” hopes Sean.
“We want to help too,” says Clark, as Lightning Force Rangers are also eager to jump into the bandwagon.
“Ok, but we need to get back our morphers first,” says Victor and together, they quickly go to another closed room. There, Mark and Xiaolong knocks down the two guarding Skeletors there, and breaks the sealed door.
After grabbing respective morphers, they run to the outside of the cave. But as soon as they get there, Zordon contacts them and informs that there is havoc somewhere in North Star, created by Skeletors.
“What should we do now?” Michael wonders.
“You guys go to North Star,” Victor told Lightning Force Rangers. “We can take care of Lord Cranston.”
“Are you sure?” Angela asks.
“Yes,” he assures confidently. “Now, go!”
“Good luck, guys,” Clark wishes his brothers as well as other sixth Rangers before leaving. Then the 12 Rangers run to the available plane not far from them. Afterwards, they depart for HQ, where Lunar 7 has waiting for them when Victor informs about the plan to Zordon.
As soon as the arrived, they boards Voyager Megaship, and instantly flies to the space in a race to Extar. Inside the ship, Mark tries to contact someone using the videoconference system, and Lunar 7 gives some assistance for the purpose. For sure, it is a very important call to make.
Meanwhile at CosatBase, Neutron Squad is having a break time in their operation room, when they received a signal from the outer space. Hillary and Jessica, the two female operators there, instantly inform Captain Bates and the Neutrons about it, as they are about to respond.
“Captain, we receive a signal,” Jessica indicates. It’s from…”
“Mark,” Nick surprised to see his elder on the screen. “What happened?”
“Listen,” he says, “a laser shoot is about to be blast from Planet Extar to Earth, and it can destroy everything in a mere moments,” he added as displaying some initial pictures of the laser cannon- which looks like a typical 20 storey building with a giant gun above it- gathered from Lightning Force HQ.
“Captain, he is right,” Edward approves. “He undergoes a mission there after a group of alien invades Earth, and I think there are a lot of possibilities about this to happen.”
“We’re in a mission to destroy it, but we need your help to set up a mechanism to protect earth, just in case we fail,” he added.
“So, what are options available?” Captain Bates asks his operators.
“Yes indeed,” Hillary says, “but the effectiveness is still unproven, regardless whichever options we picked.”
“What are the options?” Alexis asks later.
“We can either absorb or reflect the shoot, and under respective options we have several sub-options,” Hillary explains. “If we want to absorb, we need a kind of uncharged battery for the purpose, but currently we don’t have any.”
“So the best alternative is to reflect,” Sarah acknowledges.
“Yes, and we can do it either on Earth or at the outer space, via satellites or space telescopes, “she added. “But since telescopes and satellite dishes on Earth are not mobile, outer space is the best we have.”
“Ok, so what should we do?” enquires Captain Bates.
“We need the coordinate of the planet as well as the location of the laser cannon,” Jessica explains. ”Then we will re-arrange satellites and space telescopes to the suitable orientation, to reflects the shoot back to where it belongs.”
“About that, I can help you,” says Lunar 7 via the communication line. “I can provide all required information.”
“And let me help both of you here,” Andy indicates, as he takes a seat alongside Jessica to begin the work.
At the same time, Lord Cranston and his comrades are ready to initiate the plan to shoot Earth, which would take place in a couple of minutes. Thinking that the victory is within their sight, they continue with the plan, equally unaware that the sixth Rangers have arrived and landed not far from the site of the cannon. As they arrived, they observed the place for a while from the bushes around the forest.
“So that’s the cannon you’re talking about?” Kyle asks for confirmation from Victor.
“I think so,” he says, “but first we need to look around, ok?”
After a while, together they make an ambush to the patrolling Skeletors around, and managed to knock all of them quickly. Then, they breached the place, and take on every single Skeletors that standing on their way. Again alarm has been raised, and it causes a shock to the villain top men as they are about in the middle of the attack.
They quickly leave the control room to check out the situation, shocked to discover that the Rangers have escaped from the prison, and hunting for them. Both sides clashed at the middle of the stairway to the top, and the bad side are less than happy to see them again.
“Rangers?” Lord Cranston shocked.
“Surprised to see us again?” Victor teases.
“Now you REALLY MAKE ME ANGRY!” he screams to the, and blasted a couple of shoots to throws them away. However, it did not give any effect, and only makes the tension raises between both sides. The Rangers would not backing off and willing to take all risks to pin down the villains forever.
In a flash, they begin to attack, but fighting on the stairs proved to be too close for comfort. After some punches and kicks flying around, the villains took their chance to throw the Rangers to the ground from the place. Despite the daunting height, they managed to land safely on the ground but they had no intention to withdraw from the battle.
At the same time at CoastBase, The Neutrons are start to having some technical glitches to coordinate space telescopes as well as satellites. It may halt their chance to avoid the mega blast.
“Damn!” Andy suddenly uttered the words.
“What do you mean by “damn”? Damn is not good,” Jessica responded.
“Two satellites can’t make it to the coordination in time,” he explains. “We need another orientation, otherwise we fail.”
“Keep trying,” Captain Bates urged.
“Boy, always in the hard way,” Jessica says as she offers an assistance to Andy. “Watch and learn, little kid.”
Maybe they are not having enough, Lord Cranston and his comrades run to the ground to encounter the Rangers once more, but this time it seems like they will not have the same chance yet. They have managed to recover just in time, and determined to give some payback.
“You’re about to lose, Rangers,” Prince Cranston warned.
“You can say that again,” Victor responded quickly. “What are we waiting for?”
“Ready guys?” Becky asks the others
“Hunter Storm!” Victor says as he crossed his arms in front of him and attached the two morphers together. Then two gold and two green lightning bolts hit the green gem at the centre of the morpher. It moves through his body and formed the suit of Lightning Hunter.
“Lightning Hunter!”
“Ranger, Defend!” Becky shouts, and she swipes a card to her wrist brace to activate her power. Then a shining orange light appears above her, and formed her suit by stages. Begins with the main suit, followed by boots and gloves simultaneously, before helmet finished the transformation.
“Solar Ranger!”
“Cyclone Unitise!” Marshall followed, and sticks his Unitizer in front of him with the top facing the villains. Streams of data fly out and came around his body until he engulfed in it. Then the streams scattered away when the suit is created.
“Cyclone Tundra Ranger!”
“Silver Gryphon Power!” Sean goes afterwards and in a flash, a sliver light surrounds his body. It forms his suit when disappear, and afterwards another silver light forms his helmet. It transformation was finished when the visor is being shut automatically.
“Silver Gryphon Ranger!”
“White Knight Combat Thunder!” Dave shows his morpher, and raises it to the sky. Then from the top, a lightning struck the morpher and channels its power along his body. The electric waves surrounds his body form the suit, and formed the helmet later when he pulls his hand down.
“White Knight Combat Ranger!”
“Ignite Energy!” Xiaolong says as Golden Energy Staff shoots from his Chi Rune Morpher. As he takes it in grasp, a black suit covers his body, which was followed later by a Golden Covering. Then a golden visor appears on his black helmet, and he places his Golden Energy Staff in front of him.
“Golden Chi Omega Ranger!”
“Blades Of Temujin, Power Up!” Kyle says as he shows up his Strikechanger, which followed by “Swordchange!” when a black suit appears. Then Um-Yang symbol (like the centre of Korean flag) formed and attached to the centre of the suit, makes it turned to red and blue. Later, it produces Blades of Temujin.
“Sword Ranger!”
“Blazing Storm Transform!” Marcus shouts as he activates his Gold Fire Crystal. Then he was encircled by a funnel of golden flames, which bursts the crystal and consumes his body to form his power suit. The transformation was completed when the flames were completely diminished.
“Blazing Storm Gold!”
“It’s Morphin Time!” Liz unleashes her X1 braces. “Aura X1 Prototype, Execute!” she says as she twitched her wrist and another brace, X2, appear. She holds her arms in front of her, before brings them in and crosses across her chest. A green light glows her body as her costume appears, and was completed when the light faded.
“Aura X1!”
“Shogun Strength!” Cody shouts as he holds his Shogun Brace high on air above his head, and Shinjuku Castle appears at his back. Then his Falcon God Zord appears in front of him and blows air in his way using its wings. The wind hits him in particles until the suit has been completely formed.
“Shinjuku Shogun Ranger!”
“Black Carrier, Sonic Power!” says Scott when he attached his Sonic Braces in front of his chest in a cross movement. Then lasers coated his hands, and he pulls it down as he stretches it to both sides. His suit was formed, and his helmet was assembled afterwards from back.
“Black Carrier Sonic Ranger!”
Mark twitches his right wrist across his chest to glows a blue light, and unleashes his Acelerator when it gone. He pushes it down, and its centrepiece unfolds two wings that were attached together at its back. Then he folds its arm upward, and his Acelerator rotates 180 degrees.
“ACE!” he shouts as a blue light emitted upward, and encircles him in a radius. Putting his folded hand down, three levels of light coming downward. The first formed his suit outline, the second formed the suit completely, and the last one formed his helmet.
“Ace Ranger V2!”
“What?” Lord Cranston shocked.
“Now we show them what we really are!” Victor urged his friends, and they are ready to stage a fierce fight with their enemies. Without wasting any time, they begin to move forward, with two Rangers take on a villain each.
Victor and Mark fight Lord Cranston, and the latter begins their assault with several attacks using his Spark Lance. But as the villain leader uses a sword to block every single attack, he did not managed to do major damages. This is the time when Victor follows up the attack right after his partner was being pushed back, and strikes using his Hunter Axe. The movement was so quick that Lord Cranston has not enough time to avoid, let alone reflects it.
“Have a go, Mark!” Victor told Mark when he has done his part, and his partner quickly sends a fierce Spark Crusher from crystal above his forehead, right to the chest of the villain leader. This has made further damage to Lord Cranston, and he seems cannot stand with the attack anymore.
Marshall and Becky attack Prince Cranston not far from the first battle, with the former strikes first using his Tundra Solar Sabre. Fighting fire with fire, Prince Cranston fights back using his sword but it appears to be useless, since Marshall has extra support in form of Tundra Shield. Then from back, Becky jumps and sends a high-speed flying disc using her Wrist Disc, simultaneously as Marshall spears his sword. Both strikes hit the villain at the same time, and throw him away easily.
“Phoenix Strike!” Becky shouts when she throws her killer attack when she landed on the ground, and again it knocks Prince Cranston down lifeless.
Darkonda faces resistance in forms of Scott and Marcus, who fight using Sonic Carrier Staff and Blazing Axe respectively. Utilizing inter-changeability form of attack, they exchange their timing to hit the monster, as well as changing sides of attack as often as possible. The drill is simple yet effective, that Darkonda has too little time to respond for that type of strike.
“Carrier Tidal Wave!” Scott says as he powered up his staff, and swings it horizontally to release a black wave. It weakened the beast, and Marcus followed up with an overlapping somersault jump before taking a powerful slash to demolish Darkonda completely from the battle.
Xiaolong and Sean meanwhile, fight Ecliptor who seems the strongest among the main villains. Despite that advantage, it did not gives any differences since the Rangers are working together to beat the beast. By making continuous laser shoots using Omega Magnum and Assault Charger respectively, it managed to decline Ecliptor’s mobility, before they finish him by combining a shoot together.
On the other part of the battle, Floodhammer are having difficult times holding Cody and Liz in its stride, since both of them fully use their quickness to overcome the slow but powerful monster. However they start to show some signs of waning, particularly when it splashes out a burst of liquid that as hard as flood waves. For sure, they are not giving up yet.
“Samurai Knuckle!” Cody says as he unleashes his weapon, and threw multiple punches to the chest of Floodhammer, which makes the monster faded. This was followed soon by a slash from Liz using her X1 Blades, and those strikes makes it retreat from them as they are about to continue their battle.
Kyle and Dave on the other side are fighting Firecracker, with the former did not have any trouble facing the type of monster that he used to fight before this. Dave hits its leg with his Battle Lance to smash the monster down to the ground, but it responded by holding the lance to throw him away. This makes Kyle attacks later with Blades of Temujin, and he managed to crush it to the back in order to allow his partner to finish. Not wasting any time, he pointed his lance to the torso of Firecracker, and demoted it to the ground with a jousting move.
Then the villains regrouped at not far from the main entrance of the cannon, with all of them seems struggle to recover from the knock. At the same time, the Rangers are getting confident of beating them, and start to get closer and closer.
“Now who’re the best here?” Victor asks Lord Cranston as he leads the approaching Rangers.
“But you didn’t stop us yet,” he responded. “Floodhammer, Firecracker, go inside and destroy Earth! Let they know the consequences of interfering in our affair!” he told the two monsters, as he and the other villains disappear from sight.
“No!” Kyle tries to stop both monsters, but Firecracker blasts a couple of rockets to halt them. Not only that, it also makes the Rangers lost their sight momentarily in the dusts of sands.
However, they are not giving up yet, as Mark was the first to recover and chases them from behind before the others managed to recover. When the two monsters enter the cannon, they immediately closed the door as they are running to the control room. Many of the fellow Rangers thought he cannot make the cut, but he narrowly managed sneak in with a diving movement from the outside. Knowing that he still in a distant behind both monsters, he instantly stands up to continue the chase.
“What he thinks he’s doing?” wonders Cody, referring to the pursuit.
At the same time, people inside the operation room of ECO are getting closer to achieve the right orientation of satellites to reflect the upcoming shoot. Now they are in a final stage in pointing to the right direction.
“Ok, there. We have done organising the satellites,” confirms Andy.
“Now, it’s up to them,” says Edward, hoping that the 12 sixth Rangers would succeed in their mission.
After running for a long distance, Firecracker and Floodhammer finally arrive at the control room of the cannon, and pushes some button to activate it. However, it did not take a long time before Mark spoils the party. As soon as he discovers them, he quickly staged a close fight and never seems to back off. Relentless, he continues to beat them until they are weak enough to recover.
Then he tries to shuts down the launching programme with 30 seconds to go, but whatever buttons he push, nothing is happening. The two monsters can only laugh from behind looking on him.
“Whatever you do, you can never stop it,” laughs Firecracker. “It has been automatically programmed to prevent all attempts to shut it down. And it has none self destruct function.”
“Now, the doom of your place has come!” Floodhammer added.
Mark somehow, remembers back all his past in a flash, as well as his friends on Earth, when he heard the remark of Floodhammer. Devastated, he instantly unleashes his Spark Sword in his dash to the monsters, to put on another fight. This time it is not as easy as before, since the monster are getting better with his capability to knock down each one of them.
Then after a daunting 10 seconds count afterwards from the computer, the cannon begins to blast out a gigantic, continuous laser shoot. The Rangers outside the building can only watches it, as they hope Mark is not hurting himself inside. At the same time, Victor tries to contact Lunar 7, so that it can tell ECO not to reflect the shoot back to Extar.
“But we’ve communication problems here,” says Lunar 7. “It starts to happen when the shoot is blasted.”
At Earth, ECO begins to feel the heat of the battle, since they have detected the shoot is coming here. Thankfully, it hits the solar panels of the satellites and space telescopes right on target, and they decided to hold it as long as possible.
“When the batteries are overloaded, we blast it back to where it came from,” Captain Bates instructs.
At the mean time, Mark still staged a fierce fight with the monsters inside the building; with both sides never seem to give up to each other. He changes his forms of attack as often as possible, in order to beat the beasts forever. That type of strike gives him an edge above them, and soon enough he found himself having the upper hand above the monsters.
Meanwhile, since Mark can do nothing to stop the laser, ECO assumes that the Rangers have failed in their mission. They also cannot hold the shots much longer since the batteries have show signs of overloading.
“Now!” Captain Bates commands Jessica and Hillary to release back the shoot to Extar, in order to destroy its source forever.
Then the unenviable happens. The laser shoot came back to Extar and hits right on the cannon itself. This causes it to collapse, which makes the Rangers so terrified about possibilities to lost Mark forever. They cannot think what would happen if he has gone, let alone his condition if they found him.
“What can we do now?” asks Becky.
“What can we do? Pray,” answers Dave.
Inside, Mark is still fighting the monsters even though things around are too dangerous. With the monster distracted to escape, he took that chance to sends a somersault slash, before finishing both of them with double Liquidator ball. Managed to do so, he instantly leaves the place and seeking around for any place to escape.
But wherever he goes, it seems he has no place to escape but far from giving up, he continues to search around. In a shaky, daunting condition, he founds a route to the emergency stairs distant from his current position. In a dash, he runs to the place, hoping that he would make it in time. But as he never seems to make it, he had to rely on his Spark Harpoon as his last chance. Shooting the roped top to the outside, it is unknown whether he managed to escape, since the building is collapsing to the ground.
At the outside meanwhile, the other Rangers had to find cover due to waves of dusts are coming in their way. Only several of them who making it to the rocks around, while the others had to lie down on the ground. Then a bang happened, and the building has been collapsed completely afterwards.
As the laser has been stop from its source, people on ECO are celebrating the victory afterwards. They have prevented yet another destruction from happening, and celebrate it like they have won a war.
However, the sixth Rangers in Extar do not share the same joy. As they stands up and approaching the collapsed cannon, they cannot believe that Mark has gone forever.
“He’s… gone,” mourns Marshall.
“At least, he has done the right thing,” says Victor, as he picks a piece of metal near his feet. Becky of course, almost breaks her tears when heard about that. “Man… I’m proud knowing him.”
But somehow later in the dusts, Sean spotted something hanging on the cliff nearby.
“Hey, look there,” he pointed with his right index finger.
“Mark?” Scott surprised. “Mark!”
“He’s still alive,” screams Liz happily.
Despite hanging on his Spark Harpoon lifelessly, Mark slowly slides down to the ground, as he has been worn down by the battle before. Then, he automatically unmorphed as well as the others, and they quickly hold him to help him walk, with Marshall and Cody hold both of his hands respectively. They seem happy to see him alive, and soon they board Voyage Megaship to return back to Eltar.
Antaganus meanwhile, felt so devastated with his failure, as it not only dashed his chance to return, it also makes the portal has been closed forever due to lack of power. To send Firecracker alone has uses so many energy and makes the gate shrink a lot. Now, he will spend the rest of his life locked in his dimension.
After a long journey and some medical treatment at HQ, it is time to have some fun and Lightning Force Rangers decided to throw in a party for them. In a night inside Clark’s house, they have a fun together with loud music as well as dancing together. It is a really great party for them, as they took that chance to know each other better.
“Every risk has its reward,” says Victor.
“And for us, knowing other Rangers, learn about them, and travelling to another planet is the prize for that,” answers Marcus on behalf of Xiaolong, Kyle, and Sean alongside him.
Liz on the other side tries to attempt Samantha and Angela, but both of them show none interest on her. But she never seems want to stop, and continues to follow them wherever they go. This forced Clark and Cody to stop her; otherwise she can go really wild.
But not with Mark, as he spend most of the early night on the garden outside. While watching the stars, Dave and Becky approach him to invite him to the inside.
“Why you’re here?” Becky asks Mark.
“Nothing… just counting the stars,” he replies briefly.
“Come on, there’s nothing you should worry about,” urges Dave. “We always welcome you inside.”
“Why you didn’t stop me?” Mark asks back.
“What?”
“When I chase Firecracker and Floodhammer, why you didn’t stop me?” he asks again.
“Because being a team means trusting your partners,” says Becky
“… And sometimes, counting on someone else is the only way to win,” Dave continues, and Mark nods his head as a sign of understand, with a soft smile on his face.
“Come on, Mark. Let’s enjoy the party,” she pulls him to the inside, and he seems reluctant to follow them but as a friend, he goes along them anyway.
“Maybe I’ll take you to Old Trafford one day,” Dave jokes about taking him to watch soccer at the home ground of his favourite team.
“Actually, I more prefer Stamford Bridge or BayArena,” he smiles a little.
Zordon watched the situation through a monitor in the HQ, where Adam also takes a look at it despite he is on Earth. For sure, they are happy with his change even though it may not last long as they expected.
“That’s a good start,” admits Adam. “At least, he knows what a team is all about.”
“He really reminds me of the young Tommy,” says Zordon, “tenacious, quiet, and confident. You should nurture him carefully. In his raw condition, he is already a great fighter like you.”
“Thanks,” says Adam. “I really hope we can see again.”
“Maybe next time. I’m sure,” Zordon smiles, before they lost the communication line. Now, the Earth Rangers are having fun at the party before returning home.

This is good. By the way, the Neutron Squad/Patrol Force teamup may be delayed slightly, but it will still be before episode 22 of Patrol Force (Therefore, it will only be delayed by six days at most.)
