[Mythical Master]

Episode 29: Dan’s Love is Judy’s Cure Part 1
Last time on Power Rangers: Mythical Energies

Sally revenged on Sarah because she lost the Soccer Championship. She did this on the last day of school. Kelly's interference kept from succeeding and Jessie joined Sally in an attack on the city. All the Rangers managed to defeat the two evil teens and they retreated. Everyone went home. Dan began to miss Judy enough to begin to believe he loves her. What does this mean? Dan and Dave go to bed early that night early in anticipation of their summer vacation beginning. But Dan has trouble sleeping. He tosses and turns all night. Dave notices right away.

"What's wrong Dan?" he asks.

"I can't stop thinking about Judy. She's been on evil's side for too long. We need her back on our team."

"Well Sam says destroying the rod won't work anymore. Her ties to the dark side are too strong now. And it is because of her marriage to the Mythical Master."

"I know but there must be a way beyond destroying the rod. There must be"

"Well go to sleep and we're discuss it with Sam, Jim and the girls in the morning."

"I can't sleep."

Minutes later Dan was asleep. He was more tired than he realized.

At the tower, Judy and the Mythical Master were in bed but that was about it for that night. Judy wasn't up to doing anything that night and that was the one area the evil Mythical Master didn't make any demands on. But Judy too was struggling with sleep. The minute she settled down and began to dream and it was about a time when she was good. Now, Judy knows and accepted that she has a good past but she also accepts she is now evil and wants to keep it that way. The dream mostly focused on Dan.

"Why was it focusing on Dan so much?" she wandered.

The next day, the 5 good rangers met with Sam at the Mythical Chamber.

"All your dreams focused on Judy?" asked Sarah.

[Mythical Master]

"Yes, I beginning to feel love for her I think," answered Dan.

"Know what is funny about this whole thing?" asked Jim.

"What?"

"You're in love with a married woman," said Jim.

"Wait a minute," said Dave, "They're not really married by our laws and morals."

"What does that mean?" asked Dan.

"It means that Judy never had parental permission. She needs that."

"Yeah but what if Fred is her dad. I'm sure he gave permission."

"He may have given permission but if he isn’t the father then the Mythical Master is committing a crime.”

“Then that means Fred and Al committed crimes against us too,” said Kelly.

“Yes, and they are committing crimes against Sally and Jessie.”

“But we did consent to it as I am sure Sally and Jessie have too,” said Sarah.

“Yes, I’m sure you’re right but it is still a crime when dealing with underage girls.”

“Well then how do we use this to get Judy back?” asked Dan.

“You have to show Judy what true love is. The rest will fall into place,” said Dave.

“I couldn’t have said it better myself,” said Sam.

“Then how do I show Judy true love?” asked Dan.

“We’ll help but the solution will have to come from here not here,” said Dave.

He points to the heart first then the mind.

“Dave, I have got to say you are becoming quite the leader. I’m glad I picked you as the Red Ranger,” said Sam.

“Thank-you,” said Dave.

“You’re welcome,” said Sam.

[Mythical Master]

At the Tower, the Evil Rangers were discussing strategy to defeating the Good Rangers and Conquering the planet.

“My beloved husband and evil master,” began Judy, “I have a plan that will bring on the good Rangers’ ultimate defeat.”

“What is that Judy?’

“I happen to know that the Black Ranger has feelings for me. Feelings strong enough to bring me over to the good side.”

“And your plan is what exactly?” asked Sally with some doubt.

“Well if I’m coated in darkness by a spell strong enough to protect my evil side then If I allow him to try to convince me to become good, I will pretend to agree and I will lead him on for a while then at the right time I reveal my true self and that it was a trap. By that time Sarah, Kelly, Dave, and Jim are in a life or death situation and their fate will be in Dan’s hands.”

“I like the way you think my daughter,” said Fred.

“As do I,” said Mythical Master.

“Then is it a go?” she asked.

“Yes, we will coat you in a spell of darkness to fight against what a relationship with him may cause as far as a turn to good is concern but you still need to be careful. We don’t know exactly how strong Dan’s love for you is. If it is a ‘I want her for a wife kind of love, then even this spell won’t work,” warned Mythical Master.

“I understand.”

They head for the back room to begin the spell casting. Judy stretches her body out on a table. Mythical Master casts the spell. Judy then heads home for the first time in months to see her mom, who know Judy’s secret, only Judy doesn’t know that. She used to believe that her mom was an evil Ranger who was killed in battle but now she knows better. But her mom knows not to mention that she knows.

But she will probably have to anyway once Judy sees the real Frank Morgan there. Judy because of the spell believes that Fred is her father even though she knows he may not be. If asked who she thinks her father is or wants her father to be, she will say Fred because of the spell still has that kind of effect on her. It isn’t what is making her evil anymore but it still has control over what she believes to be true. The spell will even make her not know who Frank Morgan is and deny the possibility that he may be her father.

She opens the door and sees Frank Morgan talking to her mom. She also sees him hug and embrace her.

[Mythical Master]

“Hey! Get away form my mom!” said an angry Judy.

She walks to get in between them and pushes Frank away.

“Judy, you not treat your father that way,” said her mom.

“He is not my dad! Who are you?” asked Judy.

“I’m Frank Morgan and legally I am your Father. My name is on your birth certificate.”

“That’s because my real dad was pretending to be you!” yelled Judy who immediately realized something was wrong.

“That’s true but your mom and I had a long talk trying to figure out your time of conception in conjunction with my kidnapping. You were conceived before it.”

“No! That is not true!” She yelled, “It can’t be!”

But inside her head a voice began to speak.

“Oh but it could be true couldn’t it,” asked the voice.

“Who are you?!” demanded Judy’s voice inside her mind.

“Why Evil Judy, I’m the Good Judy. I’ve been fighting my way back for months. The spell was supposed to have been the nail in my coffin but it wasn’t.”
