The layout looks like one of those internet companies.

Just curious... Why do you feel as though you must compete with other sites? Unless you're capable of creating a site that is far superior to something like PRC, I would not openly state that you intend to compete with it. The key to creating a good site is to offer something others don't, or at the very least, offer some of the same content in a unique style. Personally, I feel that this need to compete with one another is what is responsible for the decay of much of this webdom. People try to take on too much in an attempt to be the one-stop shop, and everything ends up getting done half-ass or not at all, or sites are over-loaded with content to the point that the server is so bogged down with file requests that it becomes a chore to even navigate. If you plan to do a site, I'd find a niche and really concentrate on that.

Depending on how you look at it not really. It looks too plain and boring i would switch to a more dark look perhaps.

I agree with imperiosity, you need to find something they do not offer and put it on that site but that doesn't mean if lets say you target only in download, it doesn't mean you should just block out everything else such as the episode guide, profile and the basic storyline.

Now right now I see you have an account on freewebs.com and if you intend to put large file such as music or videos I would switch to an account of which you may have more webspace. Also trust me, unless you plan to stay at home for 12 hours a day, I do not think you could finish your website if you intend to make it look big enough to compete with Rangercetral.com

Even though your site up to a rough start I will add you to my site. Rangerfanfic (http://www.rangerfanfic.cjb.net) Also PM me if you would like a layout. :D

I plan to have only a few things, so i can juice up on other things. Such as Pictures and Bios, Weaponary, Morphers, and things like that. Episode Guides is on the line. And I never plan to have a downloads, unless I start a YahooGroup to put them there, which might be better.

Also, how did Ray do it? I mean when the site opened, the series was already on Power Rangers Lost Galaxy or Lightspeed Rescue. He must have gone out of his mind. I would have given the site to someone else to do. Hopefully sence he passed it on to more than one person, alot more will be put onto RangerCentral.com

PRC has been around alot longer then the PRLG days. If memory serves, it started out as a Zeo shrine, didnt it?

I could be wrong

Then I guess it didn't become popular or something on LG, because Internet Archieve only showed it from 2000 on.

Ewww, I hate it when you can notice that the wallpaper isn't continuous. But over all much better layout. Oh yeah, steeling RangerCentral pictures is not a good idea. Make your own photos before Ray finds out.

And what is going to happen, if he finds out? And as far as I know he doesn't own it anymore. And I tried asking who runs it but nobody knew, so as long as I give him/them credit I thought it'll be okay.

Well the person that runs it is known as zyuray. He said if you want something as him and even when/if he says yes you should modify it. But it is stupid for you to say your competing with Rangercentral only to be taking his pictures. At least modify them.

It's a waste of people's time to see duplicated material on the web. If you're smart enough, don't use pics from another site.

Also, Power Animals owns the site, just like you can see in the main page of Rangercentral...

Speaking for myself, unless it just happened to be a few screen captures here and there of mine that someone else was using on their site, even if they were giving credit, I wouldn't stand for someone using my site's graphics. That's a sure-fire way for someone to earn themselves a shiney-new spot on my shit-list. It takes time for those of us who put effort into our graphics to create them, whereas it takes those who take them from our sites without permission/consent no time at all. It's just not right, if you ask me.
