Power Rangers Tornado
Dragon power, part 1

“Lexor’s gone,” Darren informed the rest of his team, “I guess that means we only have to worry about Darkstorm, Cindar and Virulina.”

“What about Reekon and Mortdred?” asked Nick.

“They’re not worth worrying about,” Lauren replied.

* * *

“Lexor is dead,” Virulina reported. Then she swung her harpoon; it slammed into one of the nearby pillars, the impact sending the harpoon flying.

“What are we going to do now?” asked Cindar, slamming his club into another of the pillars.

“Stop attacking pillars, they can’t feel anything,” muttered Darkstorm.

“So how will we avenge Lexor?” asked Cindar, annoyed.

“It won’t take long,” Darkstorm said, “Those who can help us avenge Lexor shall soon be here.”

“But how soon will they be here?” asked Virulina.

Suddenly a huge ball of flame impacted in the middle of the ship, tearing through one of the walls in the process.

“What the Hell?” asked Virulina, as the flames dispersed.

“Sorry I took so long, but I have finally arrived,” a new arrival said, stepping forward.

“Cravex, at last you’ve arrived.” Darkstorm said.

“Yes, I am back,” Cravex said, “Now I can continue as Head General of this group.”

“What?” asked Reekon, Virulina, Cindar and Mortdred, shocked.

“He was the Head General, and still is,” Darkstorm pointed out.

“He just shows up and becomes Head General?” asked Virulina, “It should be between me and Cindar who the Head General is!”

“Silence, fools!” Cravex shouted, “Tiamat, discipline these fools!”

Yet another General appeared, this one seemingly based on a white dragon. Tiamat held his staff ready, and slammed it against the ground, causing a shockwave that tore through Mortdred, throwing him aside.

“Tiamat?” Reekon asked, then turned to Cravex, “You brought Tiamat here, even after he planned to destroy our empire the last time?”

“Don’t worry, fools, I have complete control of Tiamat,” Cravex replied, “As you are about to learn!”

Tiamat hacked into Reekon with his staff, hurling him back while Cindar charged. Tiamat batted Cindar’s club aside and struck him in the gut with his staff, causing him to roll along the floor.

“I’ll prove myself better than you and Tiamat, Cravex!” Virulina shouted as she teleported off.

“Where’s she going?” Tiamat asked.

“It’s not important right now, but I believe she has a Giganoid ready and wants to avenge that other General who repeatedly failed,” replied Darkstorm.

Cindar then walked out of the room, annoyed that they weren’t having any semblance of caring that Lexor was now dead.

Virulina blasted multiple buildings with energy blasts from her staff.

“You’ll never survive against me, whenever you choose to face me!” Virulina shouted, ready to end this.

Virulina was suddenly blasted off the building by a barrage of rockets from the Command Cycle.

“What?” Virulina asked, enraged.

“You’re all doomed!” Virulina then shouted as she turned to face the Volcano Rangers, blasting them with energy from her harpoon.

“You won’t be able to stop us anytime soon,” Tornado Red replied as the Tornado Rangers ran over.

“So what do you plan to do?” asked Virulina.

“You’re about to find out what we can do!” Tornado Red shouted back.

“I’ve already seen what you can do when you faced Lexor,” Virulina said, “I have no desire to see that again!”

“So what will you do?” asked Tornado Blue as the five of them prepared to take on Virulina.

“Chronoblast, arise!” Virulina shouted, teleporting away as a third Giganoid appeared before them.

The clock Giganoid blasted away at the Rangers, failing to beat them.

Keith walked down a street.

“There’s that punk,” muttered some gang member.
“Let’s steal his money,” another gang member suggested.
“Right, but how?” the leader asked.

“One of us can pretend we need money to get home,” another member suggested, when he tries to give us money, we mug him!”

* * *

“Hey mate, do you have a quid?” asked the gang member as he approached Keith.

“Why no, I don’t have a squid,” Keith said, pulling out his oversized wallet as the other gang members ran over, “All I have is money!” he threw notes at everyone, causing the notes to explode on contact and when the smoke cleared this six-person gang lay dead.

Keith laughed and walked off.

“Tornado Megazord, arise!” the Tornado Rangers called.
“Volcano Megazord, arise!” the Volcano Rangers called.

“Rhino Lance!” Tornado Yellow called.
“Crab Wrecker!” Tornado Blue called, as the Lance Crusher charged up.

“Basilosaur Lance!” Volcano Green ordered as the Basilosaur Lance appeared and then transformed into the Hunter Staff.

The two Megazords both swung at Chronoblast, but he stopped both attacks, holding the two Megazords in place.

“I guess that should be expected,” Tornado Red stated, not surprised by the power this new Giganoid seemed to have.

Both Megazords then kicked him in the gut and he fell back, losing his grip.

“Tornado Sphere 07, launch!”
“Tornado Sphere 08, launch!”
“Lavastrike Megazord, combine!”

The Lavastrike Megazord stood ready to bring down this latest Giganoid.

“You’ll never defeat me!” the Giganoid shouted, then charged forwards, slamming into the Lavastrike Megazord.

“We’ve got this under control,” Volcano Black reported. The Lavastrike Megazord threw the Giganoid away, sending him rolling back.

“Prepare to be destroyed, fools!” Chronoblast fired off multiple energy blasts at the Lavastrike Megazord, none of which seemed to do any damage.

“You’ll still have a lot of difficulty if you expect to beat me like that!” Chronoblast shouted.

“We’ll show you how easy it is,” replied Tornado Red as the Lavastrike Megazord continued advancing, slamming Chronoblast back with a spear punch.

“You’ll see how hard it is when you’re all dead!” Chronoblast shouted, firing off more lightning blasts at the Lavastrike Megazord, rocking him from the impact.

“This is getting to be too much,” Tornado Red realised, “Vortex Strike!”

“Arrow Beam, fire!” Chronoblast put his hands together and two arrows shaped like clock hands fired off.

The clock arrows tore through the Vortex Strike but were melted by the heat so when they hit they did nothing.

“Well, that helps,” Volcano Black said.
“But neither of us did anything,” Volcano Green added, “Which makes that attack as powerful as the Vortex Strike!”

“Then we’ve got to take him out fast,” replied Tornado Red.

“Zodiac Blast!” the five Rangers called, unleashing their most powerful attack, tearing through Chronoblast and hurling the Giganoid to the floor in thousands of pieces.

“Finally,” Tornado Red muttered.

“It’s not over so easily!” Virulina said from below.

“It’s not?” Tornado Yellow asked.

The clock that made Chronoblast’s face was intact. It began spinning backwards, as though trying to reverse time. This had a definite effect – the pieces of Chronoblast reassembled, the Giganoid again standing, having effectively been hit by the Megazord’s most powerful attack and left unfazed.
