Power Rangers Tornado
Everything Changes…

“What now?” asked Darkstorm, seeing as Lexor had failed miserably in his last attempt. He wasn’t sure this was such a good idea right now.

“I could send down another Giganoid,” Virulina suggested.

“Well you could, but is there one ready?” asked Darkstorm.

“The next Giganoid is almost ready,” Virulina replied. Surely this time she’d crush the Rangers. The Lavastrike Megazord had come as a shock last time but this time the Rangers wouldn’t fare so well.

“Does anyone know where Cindar and Lexor are?” asked Darkstorm.

* * *

Lexor was about to leave a room, but he found Cindar blocking his path.

“Virulina is about to launch the next assault,” reported Cindar.

“No she’s not,” Lexor replied, “By the time her Giganoid is ready, there won’t be any Rangers left to kill!”

“What do you mean by that?” asked Cindar.

“I mean this!” Lexor shouted triumphantly, thrusting his right hand forward.

Cindar stared at what Lexor held in his hand, “You can’t do this!”

“I can,” Lexor replied, “As I said, there won’t be any more Rangers!”

“But,” Cindar began, “What if things don’t go to plan?”

“Don’t doubt my capabilities,” Lexor said, teleporting away.

“That dude’s going to get himself killed,” muttered Cindar.

* * *

Cindar ran over to where Virulina was.

“Virulina,” Cindar reported, “Lexor has launched his attack first!”

“We don’t have to worry about him,” Virulina replied.

“I don’t think you understand,” Cindar pointed out, “He broke into the chamber of secrets and took-” Cindar didn’t need to finish, for Virulina had already realised what had been taken.

* * *

The two Generals had gone to report to Darkstorm what had happened. Darkstorm was shocked, but tried to remain in control.

“You two will have to follow Lexor,” Darkstorm said, “In case he gets himself into a situation where he wouldn’t normally survive.”

“We will,” Virulina replied.

* * *

In the Volcano Base, no one knew about what was going to happen.

“The Volcano Megazord repairs are going as planned,” Glen informed Ted.

“Good, hopefully before long we’ll be able to test the Lavastrike Megazord’s full powers.” Ted replied.

* * *

“What’s going to happen now?” asked Cindar as he and Virulina watched Lexor begin blasting things.

“I guess all we can do now is to wait for the Rangers to show up and for Lexor to fight them,” Virulina replied.

* * *

Obviously, Lexor didn’t was too worried when the three Tornado Rangers showed up. Surely, the Tornado Rangers wouldn’t be that hard to beat and would serve as a message for the Volcano Rangers.

“You’re all going to be defeated now!” Lexor shouted, energising his grappling hook and using it to strike Tornado Red, hitting him in the chest and driving him back.

The three fired their Tornado Chargers; the shots tearing into Lexor but seemingly leaving him unharmed.

“As I said, you’ll all die!” Lexor blasted everyone with flame from his grappling hook, driving them back once more.

“You’ll never win!” Tornado Yellow shouted as he fired shots from the Tornado Bazooka, striking Lexor and driving him back.

“You don’t seem to believe that yourselves!” laughed Lexor, using his grappling hook as a whip this time, and after energising it, it blasted the Rangers with lightning each time it hit.

“We’re going to need a new method of attack,” muttered Tornado Blue before they were struck again.

“What is it you consider yourselves capable of now?” asked Lexor, firing blasts f flame at the Rangers.

“This guy isn’t that clever,” muttered Tornado Red, “Maybe if we use the new Torpedo Cannons we’ll beat him.”

“We could try that,” Tornado Blue said, “But we don’t know if that will work!”

Lexor fired another blast at the Rangers, causing more damage and driving them back more.

Suddenly four missiles slammed into Lexor’s back, hurling him to the floor.

“What now?” Lexor asked as the Volcano Rangers joined the battle.

“Torpedo Cannons, deploy!” ordered tornado Red as each of the five Rangers drew a large cannon, positioning the cannons over their shoulders.

“Fire!” Volcano Green ordered as they blasted Lexor from both sides, causing huge explosions that sent him rolling along the floor.

Virulina and Cindar then ran over.

“Please, use this,” the greatly weakened Lexor said, holding up the spherical object he had stolen. Cindar activated it, causing Lexor to grow, but also gain magnet gauntlets, missile launchers and a sniper rifle, along with a staff that had a crystal at the end.

“Tornado Megazord!” the Tornado Rangers called, while Cindar and Virulina charged the Volcano Rangers, intent on making sure the Volcano Megazord wouldn’t also show up.

Lexor laughed and fired a shot from his rifle, striking the Tornado Megazord in the chest but without doing much damage.

“Falcon Blade, ready!” ordered Tornado Red as they used the Falcon Blade, cleaving into Lexor and not harming him.

“Lance Crusher!” Tornado Yellow and Tornado Blue called, striking with their attack, but again, no result.

Lexor then fired a huge energy blast. Despite Tornado Red’s attempt to stop it with the Tortoise Shield, they failed.

Finally, they combined Tornado Spheres 05 and 06, firing away, but again Lexor was almost unharmed.

Luckily the volcano Rangers had managed to escape the other two Generals for long enough to use the Volcano Megazord.

However, even when using the Hunter Staff, they soon found Lexor was too tough for them.

Lexor’s gauntlets made the Tornado Megazord and Volcano Megazord become magnetic and slam into each other.

“So that’s what he wants,” Tornado Red muttered, “Tornado Sphere 07, activate!”
“Tornado Sphere 08, activate!” Volcano Green followed, hoping they stood a chance this time, as the Lavastrike Megazord formed together.

Standing side-by-side, Virulina and Cindar watched the battle, worried.

“You’re all going to die now!” Lexor shouted, charging at the Lavastrike Megazord with his staff, hitting multiple times, but the Megazord just wouldn’t be damaged.

The Lavastrike Megazord struck out, hitting the staff and snapping it in two, both halves exploding.

“What’s going to happen now?” asked Cindar, from below.
“Well, unable to use the power of invulnerability, he’s probably doomed. I’ll get them back for this though.” Virulina said, teleporting off.

Cindar stared at where Virulina had been in disbelief, then teleported off too.

“Vortex Strike!” the five Rangers called, using that finisher again, and engulfing Lexor. He stood against the finisher though, his armour mostly melted but that was it.

“I guess neither of us can finish the other,” Lexor shouted, blasting apart a city block with one hit.

“We can’t kill him, it’d be very different from killing one of the monsters they send down every so often,” Tornado Yellow muttered.
“But he’s tearing the city apart,” Tornado Blue replied.
“The Vortex Strike didn’t hurt him at all,” Volcano Black muttered.
“I think we’ve got no other choice,” Volcano Green added.
“Right,” Tornado Red agreed, “Unlike the monsters, he exists for more than random killing. It’s a shame we have to destroy him but there’s no other choice.”

Throughout this conversation, Lexor had been ineffectively attacking the Lavastrike Megazord.

“The Vortex Strike was no good,” Volcano Black said.
“So we’ll use something else,” Volcano Green added.

“Zodiac Blast!” the five called, huge amounts of energy leaving from both shoulder cannons, ripping through Lexor and causing him to topple over and explode. Although this time, things weren’t so triumphant.
