Power Rangers Tornado
Volcano Power, part IV
The volcano Rangers had obviously demonstrated what the were capable of by defeating the Tornado Rangers multiple times, and although things had recently been looking better, it still seemed that the Rangers could easily lose.
With their base destroyed, it looked even worse, for now they weren’t sure how to keep track of the attacks their enemies launched
“So what now?” Darren asked, staring at their destroyed HQ.
“Maybe there’s something else, something they kept secret in case this eve happened,” Nick suggested, running to the ruins of the HQ.
“So what now?” asked Lauren.
“It seems there is, in fact, something they kept in case this ever happened,” Nick pointed out.
“What is it?” asked Darren.
“Wait a minute,” Nick said, “It should be operational in a few seconds.”
Sure enough, a large battle bunker began to emerge from the ground, soon reaching ground level and staying there.
“It retracts back underground when it’s not needed,” explained Nick, “Also it has sections for our Zords and vehicles, and even includes several extra sections.”
“So is it an improved version of our old HQ?” asked Lauren.
“It can detect when the enemy are attacking, but its mostly for storage and is not a command outpost,” Nick replied.
“But at least it can tell us when danger is near, right?” asked Darren.
“Yes, fortunately that’s one thing it can do,” Nick replied.

Back on Darkstorm’s ship, something unusual seemed to be going on.
“Well, my plan went better than one Walt Disney could come up with!” Lexor shouted, bursting into laugher for no obvious reason.
“What’s going on?” asked Darkstorm, “Why the Hell is he acting stupid?”
“Well that’s the problem,” Virulina explained, “See, when we destroyed the base, Lexor was still inside.”
“How did this happen?” Darkstorm shouted, outraged.
“Well it was rather unfortunate, they sacrificed themselves to kill him by blowing up their own base,” Cindar explained.
“Although he survived,” Virulina said, “But I can’t promise you that’s a good thing, judging from his current state!”
“No, it doesn’t seem that good,” Darkstorm said.
“Who will lead the Torinoid part of the army and the Volcano Rangers?” asked Reekon.
“That is a good point, and could cause you some problems,” a Torinoid explained, walking into the room, “However, since I’m the one Lexor used to turn the Volcano Rangers evil, I’ll be in charge of them for now!”
“I’m not entirely sure about this plan,” Darkstorm said, “But then again, these situations aren’t exactly the best!”
“So what should I do?” the Torinoid asked.
“It’s quite simple really,” Darkstorm said, “You go down to Earth, take the Volcano Rangers with you, and the three of you destroy the Tornado Rangers!”
“It shall be done immediately!” the Torinoid shouted, vanishing along with the two Volcano Rangers.

Sure enough, the three villains appeared near the wreckage of the Magma Base. With the battle bunker retracted underground again, it wasn’t so surprising that no one noticed it.
“Tornado power, activate!” Darren ordered.
“So what do you think you’re going to do?” asked the Torinoid.
“I take it you’re the 6th Torinoid,” Tornado Red muttered.
“Does it make any difference?” the Torinoid asked.
“I guess not!” Tornado Red shouted, drawing his Tornado Sword and striking the Torinoid across the shoulder, while the other Tornado Rangers fought the Volcano Rangers.
Volcano Green struck at Tornado Yellow, knocking him further and further back, while Tornado Blue was also taking a beating from Volcano Black.
“What’s the next part of the plan?” asked Volcano Black.
“We’ll have to wait to find out,” muttered the Torinoid, before firing something from both hands that caused a huge suction, as though he were a vacuum cleaner, sucking up a lot of nearby debris but nothing else.
“Damn, I hoped that would’ve worked,” the Torinoid muttered.
“Was that all you had?” asked Tornado Blue.
“You’re about to find out what ‘all I had’ was, fools!” laughed the Torinoid, charging up another blast.
“We won’t give him the chance,” Tornado Red replied.
“Cycle Launcher, initiate!” the three called, locking their bikes together to form the cannon that would send a bike flying at the Torinoid, hopefully destroying him.
“Spinosaur Blaster!” Volcano Green said, holding up a strange blaster shaped like the head of a Spinosaurus. It could launch blasts from the mouth and could also be used as a chainsaw.
“Sarcosuchus Cutter!” Volcano Black said, holding up something based on a Sarcosuchus tail that could be used as a giant pair of scissors.
“Volcano Blaster!” they shouted, locking the two together.
“Tornado Cannon!” the other shouted, combining their Tornado Weapons.
Both teams fired, striking each other and all five Rangers fell to the ground. Both teams struggled to rise.
“It’s not over so easily!” laughed the Torinoid, striding forwards, ready for the final strike.
“I’m sorry, but it is over!” Tornado Red shouted, running for the Cycle Launcher. However, the Torinoid blasted him before he could reach it.
Suddenly the Torinoid was struck with the Cycle Launcher and exploded into pieces. Volcano Green sat on the cycle that had destroyed him.
“What the Hell?” asked Tornado Red.
“Luckily, when we blasted each other with our combined Power Weapons, the spell was momentarily driven away,” Volcano Black stated.
“I’m afraid it isn’t over that easily!” the Torinoid shouted as his remains came back together and he grew.
Cindar appeared in his evil Zord, which he called the Questor.
“You’ll never destroy us now!” Cindar shouted as the Questor fired of several rounds from both cannons.
“Tornado Megazord, arise!” the Tornado Rangers called.
“Volcano Megazord, arise!” the Volcano Rangers called.
The Tornado Megazord then lined up with the Questor and charged at him, although the Questor fired off numerous shots, luckily none of them did any real damage.
The Volcano Megazord was now fighting the very Torinoid who had been the reason the Volcano Rangers had been turned evil. The volcano Megazord tore into the Torinoid, driving him back fast.
“You’ll never defeat me that easily!” the Torinoid shouted, firing off blasts from both hands, causing explosions to erupt around the Volcano Megazord.
“I think we will defeat you easily,” Volcano Green laughed, as the Volcano Megazord kicked the Torinoid, managing to knock him clean off his feet. He tried to stand as the Volcano Megazord prepared to continue the battle.
“Tornado Sphere 04, launch!” ordered Volcano Green, summoning the Basilosaur Lance.
“It’s all over now!” Volcano Black laughed as the lance plunged into the Torinoid and destroyed him.
“You’ll regret that!” Cindar shouted, the Questor firing multiple blasts, striking the Tornado Megazord and throwing him back.
“Now it’s time to finish you off!” Cindar shouted, launching a huge barrage that the Tornado Megazord leapt over. They used tornado Sphere 06, the drill attaching to the knee and ripping through one arm cannon, causing it to crash to the ground and explode.
“You shall never defeat me!” Cindar launched shots from the remaining arsenal, only to be met with the Wolf Blaster.
“Combine!” the Tornado Rangers ordered, combining the two to form a hand drill, and tearing through the Questor, causing it to explode as Cindar teleported away from the destruction.

“Well, that battle is lost,” Cindar muttered as he returned to base.
“So the Volcano Rangers are good now?” asked Virulina.
“Unfortunately they are,” Darkstorm replied, hoping he’d have the opportunity to finish off five Rangers now.
“It will only be a matter of time anyway,” Virulina said, “My next Giganoid shall crush the Rangers!”
