I got a letter in the mail inviting me to visit Los Angeles for free. When I arrived I was greeted by Johnny Yong Bosch. He had me get into a stretch Limo and took me to where they made to old Power Rangers episodes before 1999. Once we got inside Saban Entertainment, he had me choose a Power Ranger and when I did, I was given the entire suit of that Ranger. He had me put it on and for the next 10 hours he took me to every nook and cranny that place had, from the Vehicles they had to each inidividual Zords cockpit. We conversed back and forth on just about every episode of the many series that were involved from before he became a Power Ranger to well after that. We even went to where the Command Center and the Power Chamber were located for the filming. Then he had me close my eyes and five minutes later, there was just about every Power Ranger there, except one. There he made me guess which one was missing. It was pretty obvious that I knew which one it was. He also gave me the insite on how they did the teleporting and morphin sequence and how they did it for televsison. When I said he took me everywhere, we left no stone unturned. If you want to
read more, let me know. Well as you know last year the Red Wild Force Ranger appeared in Mall 205 for an afternnoon of autograph signing and picture taking. The next month I met the Red Ninja Ranger at Vancouver Mall and was the only one there. I chatted with him for a few hours and we had a good time taking Power Rangers. He was a bit disappointed in the fact that no one wanted his autograph and have a picture taken with him. I told him I would love to have both. He was happy with that and I had someone take a picture with the big guy. Then he asked me for my address and where I lived. When I told him he wanted to know where it was at, so I told him and he was a bit surprised that it was a short distance. I wrote my address on a piece of paper and gave it to him. He then asked me a few questions to see how much I did know about Power Ranger and he was very pleased. I told him that I had a huge collection of Power Ranger stuff at home and he was taken back by that. When then had to
say good-bye to each other, because it was time for me to go home. A few weeks later I got two large boxes in the mail and when I opened them up, I was taken back. In the first box was all six Power Ranger Ninja Storm helmets and in the second box
was the spandex and other items used by the Ninja Storm team. There was no return address on the box, so I kept the whole ball of wax. The Blue outfit I gave to a female friend. The next month I went to Toys-R-Us and was in the isle where the Power Ranger stuff was and was looking for some more stuff for my collection. I had just picked up a Red Ranger 12" figure when I felt a hand on my right shoulder. I turned around and to my surprise was that
Red Ninja Ranger. I asked him if he was the one at Vancouver Mall last month and he said he was. He asked me if I got the two boxes and I told him yes. Then he asked me what I did with the Blue Ranger outfit. I told him I gave it to a girl friend of mine and it pleased him that it got to a female thinking it didn't look good on me. Then he asked me a question that caught me by surprised. He wanted to know if he could come home with me and see my huge collection. I told him he was invited to do so and we went home. When I showed him into my room with his helmet off, his mouth just about dropped off his head. He couldn't believe how much stuff I have. For the next few days we spent time watching his episodes on tape and at times we made comments on each episode. At times we laughed at the antics of Lothor and Choobo. Even at the antics of Marah and Kapri. For added fun I even showed hims some videos of some skateboarding and that got him glued to the televison, trying to learn some new tricks from the pros. The he asked me to put on the Red Ninja Storm outfit he got me and I did so. Now we were a matched set. Then I showed him a surprise I saved just for him.
I did my version of a Power Dance that did during the songs Power and Kung Fu Dancing from the MMPR:TM and a couple of Sentai songs as well, he even joined in a few of them and I even taught him a few moves, which he quickly caught on. He even taught me a few moves as well. The strange thing was that this occurred on my birthday and when I told him that, he wanted to stay for my birthday dinner. He did and we had a very good time. We even showed him how to play a few games of cards. Hand And Foot. He was my partner and my Dad and Sister Marie was partners. That Ranger was Shane.
