I stumbled over this idea while watching Lost in Space. Please could I get positive feed back from this, I feel as if I'm wasting my time writing these.
Watching over some film premier. The most boring mission we've had since the start. Though, as usual now,Martyn wasn't there. For about two weeks now, Martyn was spending more time away from base, and he was missing from more and more fights.
" Right, who's big idea was it to watch over the premier?" asked Laura
" Barr's. Intel put this as the perfect place to strike, so, guess what?"
I got a sigh in reply. Suddenly, there was the sound of a gun falling. Laura went to check it. When she got there, she was at a bridge like walk way which lead to another building. I managed to catch up, I just saw someone pulling a knife out of her. They ran in the opposite direction.
" Laura! Laura, you ok?"
" Yeah, I'll be ok." She paused, then said something I'd never forget. " Get the bastard. It was mart-"
I felt her body fall limp. I radioed for an ambulance crew. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Messages of condolance came from all the teams we were working with. Though the same person was missing.
" Look, we know you're sad about this, but don't you think you're over-reacting?"
" HE has been missing from more fights than ever. I'm cutting his morpher power, and his clearance here. i also want a warrant out for his arrest."
The search was on. JAKQ, Battle Fever J and Dynaman were helping us. The Power rangers teams were busy, with the Machine Empire amassing on the moon. Soon, we found him running from a bank job.
" Fire on him!" I was being merciless. The bullets all seemed to miss him.
" Right. Stuff this. Combined Force" It was ranger versus traitor ranger.
I caught up to him, and using a Time Strike style slice, brought him down.
"Why'd you do it?" I slammed a fist into his face.
" He offered me more mo-" Another fist.
" So, that gives you the right to kill someone?" Yet another one.
" David, that's far enough.' A voice from behind me said.
" Stay outta this, Japan" He was wearing a white jump suit, with the Japanese flag on the chest. His helmet was red, and looked like a face.
" No. You can't do this. You're being worse than him."
I slowly got up, then kicked him in the ribs for good measure. We took him to base, and put him in a cell.
He wasnn't going anywhere any time soon.
During interogation, he confessed to selling plans of the base to Barr. Now, Combined Force are two rangers down.
A day later, it was Laura's funeral. We buried her at a spot which over looked a lake. Paul, a friend of mine came up to us.
" You all right man?"
" Yeah, still a little shaky, but at least we got the bastard."
" I hear you're looking for a ranger?"
" Some one told you right. Now, we just need a Pink ranger"
' Any one in mind?"
I never heard the last thing he said. I was spacing. I noticed an explosion in the direction of the moon.
That was one less thing to worry about.
