POWER RANGERS DINO FORCE

Rocky walked through the streets of Angel Grove. He carried a bag of groceries for his teammates. He was having a dinosaur movie-fest at his place in celebration of their new powers. Even the new Ranger was in wonder at the new powers he wielded. He was the Red Tyrannosaurus Dino Force Power Ranger. A long name, he thought, but it was worth it.

Suddenly a scream rang out from an alley. Rocky dropped the bag and ran to the source of the scream.

Behind the building and in the alley was a monster, one of the Evorian, terrorizing a young woman. The young girl was dressed in an ornate covering, a shroud wrapped around her head.

Rocky didn’t notice as he pulled out his Dino Morpher and activated the powers of the Red Dino Ranger. “DINO HENSHIN!”

The Morpher buckle screamed out in response, the Tyrannosaurus powers fused to his body. The red armor attached to his body in a furious explosion of energy.

The Red Ranger leaped at the Evorian with his Tyranno Saber. The monster was slammed into a wall by the Red Ranger’s furious attack.
“Tyranno Crusher!” Rocky twirled his sword and slashed downward, smashing the weapon into monster’s chest, sparks
erupted form the Evorian’s body.

The creature pulled out a weapon that looked like a sniper rifle, but far more advanced and blaster the Red Ranger into a wall, bricks and concrete littered the floor. The Ranger’s armor was covered in dirt and grime, his chest coated with a huge brown burn mark. Rocky collapsed to the ground in pain as his morph tore apart into a blast of violent energy.

The woman in white walked over and kicked Rocky’s side with her white boot. She tore off the shroud on her head, revealing her face. Rije looked down at the fallen Dino Force Ranger. She placed her hand onto the monster’s shoulder and smiled at him cruelly.

“Excellent work, Sni-Plant-Crow.”

“Thank you priestess Rije, I am honored to serve you.”

“Take this fool with you to Dezumat, he will be immensely pleased.”

Jason, Tommy and the other Rangers sat on one of Rocky’s couches. The Red Ranger had a relatively small home, but he only shared it with his mother, who was out for the night. The whole gang was crowded around a television watching a Godzilla movie, but nobody was really watching, they had all struck up a conversation about Jason’s past life as Asuka. The former Black BakuRyuu Ranger indeed had many tales to tell.

“The oddest thing that I’ve found between Another Earth and my home is the fact that the language and written word is nearly the same. I have been studying some of the books on the English language’s origins at Billy’s house. I find it very interesting.”

Kim was very bored with this topic of conversation and turned to Jason. “So tell us about the BakuRyuu Rangers. What was that team like?”

Jason suddenly stopped talking, his voice calmed to a very slow, very pained version of its former self. “The BakuRyuu Rangers were the defenders of Dino Earth. I met the five Rangers after they had already been formed into a team. My world’s culture had trained me to become the Black BakuRyuu Ranger. I joined Galera, the Yellow; Rygarr, the Green; Samosel, the Blue; Julios the Blue; Mahoro, the Pink; and Gairudon, the Red.

“Mahoro became my wife. Gairudon was my best friend, I trusted him with all of my being, but he turned to the side of the Evorian and killed them all. All of them died, except for Mahoro and myself, we ran into the desert with the Dino Morphers. He found us and forced me to watch as he killed my wife, the Pink Ranger. But he wasn’t done he came after me with a vengeance, I fought him, and then I was pulled here.”

Tommy placed a hand onto Jason’s shoulder. “God man, sounds like you’ve been to Hell and back.”

Aisha looked out the window and turned to the others. “Uh guys, where’s Rocky?”

Gairudon entered a dimly lit room inside of the Evorian Palace. Inside was Rocky, the accursed Red Ranger, suspended from the ceiling by chains attached to his arms by manacles. Gairudon brought a tazer with him into the chamber, he wanted information on the Dino Force Power Rangers.

“Hello Rocky.”

A cruel shock awoke Rocky. Dried blood ran down his face. The Red Ranger’s shirt had been ripped and torn; dried blood was plastering the shards of the garment to his arms and chest.
Gairudon shocked the Ranger again, enjoying the pained scream that followed. “Now, tell me about the Dino Force Power Rangers.”

The Rangers walked through the streets of the city, in search of Adam. They were all startled by a sudden shout.

The voice was incredibly gritty and tough, almost inhumanly. “Hello Rangers.”

The team spun around to see an Evorian monster, the Sni-Plant-Crow, waiting for them, his rifle in hand.

Adam stepped forward. “Ready guys? Let’s take this guy out.”
The others pulled out their Morphers.

“DINO HENSHIN!” The ground around the team’s feet smashed and cracked apart. Energy cascaded around the teens violently. Adam became the Black Mastodon. Billy became the Blue Triceratops. Aisha became the Yellow Sabertooth Tiger. Kimberly became the Pink Pterodactyl. Tommy became the Green Dragon.
The Dino Force Power Rangers stood tow members short, but Jason intended to make that one member less. “TITAN POWER!” Black and gold energy tore around and out of the D-Commander and Jason placed the key into the device, activating its power. The spirit of the Brachiosaurus and the virtue of Light altered Jason’s form.

The Titan Dino Force Ranger stood next to the others and brought the team’s number back to six. The Ranger’s activated their weapons. The Titan Ranger pulled his Titan Saber out of its holster. The six charged at the monster.

Adam slashed at the creature as Aisha clawed into it. Billy smashed at the monster’s thick hide and Kimberly pelted the creature with energy arrows. Tommy and Jason fired laser blasts out of their respective weapons as well. Sni-Plant-Crow pushed them all off and blasted all of them backwards.

The Rangers all were weakened, their weapons faded, but their morphs had luckily survived the blast. The Evorian creature paced slowly, sniper rifle pointed at the team. The rifle aimed at Jason’s head. Sweat dripped down the Titan Ranger’s head, still shielded by the helmet. He heard a shot ring out from in front of him, but he felt no pain, in fact the monster screamed out as his hand flew away from his body and crumbled into dust, a new hand forming onto the Sni-Plant-Crow’s arm.

The whole team spun to see a Ranger standing in the distance, holding a small, red laser blaster. The armor he wore was a deep red color. The suit looked incredibly technological, his helmet resembled a car grille.

The new warrior fired again at the Evorian, tearing holes into its flesh and bone. The creature picked up his rifle and fired at the newcomer. The new, red warrior flew backwards from the force of the blast. He smashed through a wall at high speed, the brick crumbled in his path, glass littered the floor of the building he had smashed into. People stumbled and ran away from the sudden intruder’s violent entrance.

“Sorry about that folks, the government will pick up the tab.” The man jumped back through the hole and, in mid-air, fired off several rounds at the monster.

The others had regrouped, but it was too late, the new Ranger pulled, from behind his back, a red saber. The red warrior charged at his opponent and slashed through him, tearing him apart in a raging explosion.

At the Evorian Palace, Rije stood in front of the statue containing Dezumat’s life force. He spoke through her mouth, the voice of Dezumat dripped with evil. “Migeru, I am not pleased, regenerate the monster, NOW!”

Migeru stepped to the palace gates and spoke in an exotic tongue, the incantations traveling into the real world…

Rocky awoke from his unconsciousness, still attached to the ceiling. Gairudon’s continuous assaults had weakened the chain enough for Rocky to rip them off of his arms. He fell to the floor. His Morpher flew from his back pocket and onto the ground in front of him. He weakly picked up the device and lifted it into the air.

“DINO HENSHIN!” Red energy tore into Rocky, healing his wounds and activating his armor. The Red Dino Force Ranger stood, ready for battle.

He charged through the Palace and reached the outside world of Dino Earth. The smell of rotting and burnt flesh hung in the air. The entire planet smelled of a large fire. Even the sands of the desert looked charred and black. Rocky took off for the area where the dimensional portals lay.

Gairudon looked out of a palace window and saw the Red Ranger escaping. He took the new device he had and called for his new, Evorian armor. “DARKNESS EVOLUTION!”

Black and silver armor snapped onto his body. A massive axe and shield attached themselves onto his back and forearm, respectively.

Gairudon jumped from the palace balcony and landed on the sand, putting up a cruel chase.

The Red Ranger ran and ran, finally reaching the outside of a portal, shining blue. Harpy-like screams came from the dimensional tear. The Red Ranger turned to the charging Gairudon and waved a good-bye, firing a shot from his Blade Blaster to seal the farewell and falling into the portal.

The grown Sni-Plant-Crow stood in the forests around Angel Grove and fired into the building of the city, smashing the concrete structures.

Aisha yelled to the team through the explosions. “We need the Megazord.”

Billy spoke. “Rocky isn’t here, it’s not possible.”

Jason shouted to the others, “I’ll hold him off with Titanus, you guys think of something!”

The Titan Ranger ran into the city and raised his hand into the air. “TITANUS, ARISE!”

The white Dinozord heard his call and transported to Another Earth, appearing in front of the monster and firing several laser blasts into the creature, distracting them.

Tommy turned to the team. “Jason told me about my Zord guys, we can combine the Mastodon, Triceratops, and Sabertooth Tiger
Dinozords with my Dragonzord to form the Dragon Megazord.”

Adam spoke up, “Sounds like a plan to me!”

Billy raised his hand. “Let’s try it.”

Aisha stepped forward. “I’m game.”

The Blue, Black, and Yellow Rangers raised their hands into the air. “DINOZORDS, POWER UP!”

The Green Ranger pulled out his Dragon Dagger and played it like a flute, summoning the Dragonzord from its underwater portal. “DRAGONZORD, ARISE!”

All of the summoned Zords responded at once, forming from their individual portals in the city. The four Zords ran together and the Dragonzord stopped, raising into the air and changing into the chest, lower legs, and head of the Dragon Megazord; the Triceratops and Sabertooth Zord became the legs, and the Mastodon transformed and became the arms of the monstrous Megazord. The tail of the Dragonzord formed the staff of the Dragon Megazord and stood ready.

Sni-Plant-Crow stopped in horror. Tommy sat in the cockpit of the mighty Megazord with the others and placed his hand on the missile firing control.

“Say hello to Hell, you Evorian corpse.” Tommy smashed his hand down on the control, launching the Repeating Missile attack from the massive staff. The attack tore through the monster, completely destroying the creature.

The Ranger team jumped to the ground, the Zords fading though their portals. The sky seemed to change suddenly, a blue portal appeared and the Red Ranger fell to the ground. The others rushed over to him and helped him up. Jason stood away from the others, transfixed by the sight of the newest aid in the battle, the red warrior.

“Who are you?” Jason shouted to the man, who was walking away from them.

The man turned and spoke to the Ranger team for the first time. “I am the Red Turbo Ranger. I’ve come to help you guys, believe me, you’re going to need it.”

“Thanks, we all appreciate your help, but how did you get those powers, they’re not from Dino Earth.”

“Who says that all Ranger powers had to be from your world, Titan Ranger.”

Jason stood puzzled as the Red Turbo Ranger turned and walked away, his identity sheathed for now…
