no matter what sentai it is, its better than power rangers...actually no i take that back, Zyuranger was like crap (i still like it) compared to MMPR. But Abaranger just kicks ass.

how can I get my hands on this Sentai? Is there a way I can get some with english subtitles? Sorry, but I've never seen sentai before so I really don't know very much about it.

hey, i just ordered those dvds tonight also. To anybody that has them: How are they? Ninja storm is the season that brought me back to power rangers, so i wanted to see how good the source material is.

Yeah Im loving my Hurricanger box set.

I'm gonna get all of Gaoranger now, finish off Hurricanger, and start on Abaranger soon hopefully.

My goal is to have Zyuranger (MMPR) all the way up to the latest Sentai Series all on DVD and English Subtitles. It's going to happen too just it'll take time.

Father Thunder, If you ordered the box set off ebay, they now have the 2nd box set which finishes off the series. I just ordered mine. hopefully it will arrive sometime this week. I can't wait to see it

Zyuranger was pretty good, maybe a tinsy little bit better than MMPR because of some episodes that they never used here (not monsters, they used all those) but like in one episode, they have to do something, can't remember, and they have to unlock something and have to insert all their coins into this weird potum thing. It was pretty cool.

Yep, Abaranger rocks!!!

I saw an Abaranger box set on Ebay for sale and I was thinking of getting it. I was hoping some people here could give me some feedback on Abaranger. What is it about the show that makes it "rock"? I've actually heard some conflicting opinions on it. Some say it's Hot, Others say it is very strange compared to some other sentai series. Any more opinions? Thanx in advance.

I have all the abaranger dvds. I like it. It's silly big time, but it has its serious moments. Really, its hard to convince you either one way or the other. Sentai is really an aquired taste. Just download an episode or two to see if you would be interested in getting it.

Thanks for the suggestion but I log on at work only. I don't have a computer at home. My girl got one but its slow as hell. Therefore I cant download any eps. I guess if I want to check it out I'll have to order it. I'm awaiting my shipment of Hurricanger(eps 1-51 and the movie). That will be my 1st sentai experience.

I received my shipment of Hurricanger this weekend and all I can say is WOW:eek: ! The quality is excellent and boy did Hurricanger vs. Gaoranger KICK ASS!

Even though you asked Grimm, I may aswell answer this aswell.

Hurricaneger by far. Even though they are 2 totally different shows to be honest (Sloan changed everything in PRNS pretty much which makes it original insome scence). But yeah Hurricane wins.

yeah he is definatly going to enjoy Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger alot better than Ninja Storm.

Ikkou Kasumi (Kabuto Raijer) is one of my all time favourite characters.

The Gouraijer really kick fucking ass in Hurricanger.

Things I like in Hurricanger:
1. More mature overall storyline
2. Hurricangers show their injuries after a battle
3.Goraijers...nuff said
4. Less comedy than Ninja Storm

Thats just a few...Theres alot more. I think the Rangers in Ninja Storm have better Ninja outfits and Sensei looks a whole lot better than that hamster.:D

You don't think the overall main plot of Hurricanger is more mature than Ninja Storm? Sure, Hurricanger had its silly moments, but Ninja Storm definatley beats Hurricanger in that department. Need an Example? Most scenes involving Kapri and Marah beat The silliness in Hurricanger any day.

Jade, you're gonna love those DVD's. Hurricanger was my first Sentai series and it won't be the last. This series was A+ all the way.
